How I Gave Myself A Natural Nose Job | 3-Step Guide

This is what a botched nose job looks like. And this is what a pretty good nose job looks like. However, even though it may look slightly better, the nose may be slimmer. It may be more upturned, it still doesn't match the actual structure of the face. Because the nasal projection is determined not by genetics, but through your tongue posture and your myofunctional habits. The nasal floor, the septum, they are all determined by the maxilla and they're all shaped, not given.

Here is what a really, really good nose job looks like. It looks natural. It looks subtle. But here is the even bigger problem, relapse. In this study, 37% of patients showed that they had breathing problems after rhinoplasties long term. And in this other study, 44% of patients, nearly 50% wanted a revision rhinoplasty, showing they weren't fully satisfied with the results because relapse occurs.

Because the shape of the nose, the dorsal hump, the tip are all determined through the way that your tongue rests on your palate and through the way your face and bone structure has developed. If you try to artificially move one part of your face, of course it's going to relapse because your tongue isn't there to support the new position. Your body doesn't know how to act. If your jaw hasn't come forward, but your nose has shifted in projection, then obviously it's going to relapse back to baseline habits. The nasal valve area will collapse. The airway will shrink, and you won't be able to filter air properly, leading to tighter fascia, worse body posture, the jaw becoming more and more recessed, TMJ, sleep apnea down the line, and a host of health issues. All packaged and sold under the guise of spending thousands of dollars on something that can be attained completely naturally while also rewiring your health.

Here is my own transformation from this to this. No, no nose jobs, no plastic surgery, no artificial procedures. And if you want even more proof, here are some clients which I'm going to break down later in the video. Here is Will. Here is Tristan. And here is Lily. All of these people naturally shifted their nose without nose jobs, without rhinoplasties, but by shifting their habits. And by the way, these people aren't just 16. Lily is 25, Will is 20, Josh is 35, and the list goes on and on.

I know that was a fast start. I'm going to get into the actual stuff right now and explain how people can shift their nose naturally and what to avoid. But if you don't know who I am, my name is Oscar Patel. I help people improve their looks by fixing the actual root cause, which is their health. I transformed from this to this. I fixed my asymmetry, my crooked nose, brought my jaw forward, expanded my palate, fixed my crooked teeth, aligned my posture, and rewired my entire health from the inside out. And now I've helped thousands of other people do the same thing. And I'm grateful to have the world's largest health-based paid community. The link is in the description if you want to join, if you want a personalized plan, if you want to work with me directly. No one will properly take action. You can watch as many videos as you want and you won't be able to diagnose yourself to then take action. So if you want to join, links in the description, but let's get cracking. And by the way, I forgot to say this, but I did intern at a couple of myofunctional institutes. I'm currently getting a certification in myofunctional therapy, and I'm also launching my own scientific research project with Dr. Mike Mu himself.

So how is this even possible? How can someone shift their nose naturally at any age? Now, here's the most important thing to understand. I'm not denying that genetics are real, but I am saying that people are only operating at 40% of their genetic potential. And therefore, their face isn't properly isn't only shaped by what their mom and dad look like, but mostly by their environment, by their habits, because we live in a toxic modern lifestyle. If you have a dorsal hump, for example, you likely don't have enough pressure on a point called the incisive papilla, the front of your palate.

But how is this all formed? When your tongue rests on the roof of the mouth, when you have proper posture, when you swallow properly from breastfeeding when you're a baby, when you chew properly when you're younger, when you engage proper posture and you move in the correct directions, then as a result, the tongue will thrust against the palate. It will shape the palate. It will become wide. It will allow you to breathe better. This will further reinforce proper body posture. Allow your neck to be straight. Your neck will support your head. Every single aspect of life is trying to prevent you from being the best version of yourself. Tech neck, looking at your phone all day, chewing soft ultra-processed food, being formula-fed, using a pacifier when you're younger, even shoes are restricting your fascia.

So, how do you undo all of this? Well, you need to understand the actual root cause. When your tongue lies on the roof of the mouth, this allows the maxilla, which is the bone in the center of your skull to develop upwards and forwards. This then determines how the rest of the bones in your face develop. It will shift your mandible further forward because the mandible and the jaw are connected to the maxilla through the anterior maxilla. It will provide more support under your eyes. It will shift your cheekbones upwards and outwards. It will make your nose straighter because the maxilla supports the nasal floor. And as a result, it will shift the nasal projection. Everything will come upwards and forwards. Rather than drooping down, it will slightly pop up. And again, everyone has different genetics and you will have a different nose shape. But that does not mean that you can't become the best version of yourself right now.

So, how do you shift the maxilla? How do you begin to shift things into direction? Well, let me explain it to you. And while I'm explaining it to you, do not forget to press the subscribe button because we're pushing to 300,000 followers. Another video with Mike Mu coming out then. But but enough waffle. What you're going to do is focus on firstly expanding your palate and fixing your body posture. If you want your nose to align, the rest of the body needs to support it. For example, if your rib cage isn't properly stacked, if your neck posture is bad, if your feet are tilted outwards, your entire body falls out of alignment and then your neck rolls like this. Your lower jaw shifts back. The tongue is not able to be on the roof of the mouth and the nose grows downwards because you begin to mouth breathe. And this is the worst thing. Mouth breathing and dorsal humps have a direct correlation. I guarantee you most people that chronically mouth breathe have a nose that's slightly tilted down and they will blame it on genetics rather than just taking action.

Now, for the sake of the video, I'm going to cut it down into three areas. You have the area from your hips down to your feet. You have the area from your hips to the bottom of your neck. And you have your area from the neck to the top of the head. Split the body in three. And although they are all obviously interconnected for this video, I want you to focus on only the top third, the epicranial area. From here, in order to align your neck posture, you need to form exercises like neck extensions to strengthen the back of the neck to allow better head posture. And in combination, what I want you to do is take a tennis ball, lie on the floor, put it at the base of the skull, and roll the cervical fascia out. This will allow the tension to be released. And it and then when we add the mechanical stimulus, which we will right now, everything will be allowed to shift into position over time.

You also have the posture of the muscles in your face. And in an ideal world, your tongue rests perfectly against the roof of your mouth. For most people, their tongue is too wide. It doesn't fit and they don't have enough muscular tension to facilitate the tongue hitting the roof of the mouth. So what I want you to do is sleep every single night with something called zygomatic tape. Zygomatic tape which is going to create anterior superior midface tension. Pull everything up and out. And if you combine that with mentalis tape which is tape you put on your chin. This will create the conditions for your tongue to naturally rest on the roof of your mouth while you sleep and and shift your posture without even thinking. I have a full video breaking down the science of this and also a video explaining how to apply it. So definitely try that.

But here is the most important part, the mechanical stimulus. Obviously, your tongue needs to rest on the roof of your mouth for the maxilla to develop upwards and forwards and therefore for the nasal projection to shift over time. And this is the problem with artificial procedures and nose jobs. It doesn't take into account the tendons, the fascia, and the muscles. And therefore, no matter how your nose is shifted, if your tongue isn't on the roof of the mouth, it relapses. You develop breathing problems, and everything shifts back in order to accompany the space that isn't created. It's the same thing with braces. If you if you get a tooth extracted, the braces shift your teeth into position through a posterior mechanical force, a backwards force, which then aligns the teeth. And as a result, this literally shrinks the airways, prevents you from breathing, and shifts your jaw backward. All for the sake of one aesthetic goal, which is straightening the teeth, or for a nose job, straightening the nose without taking into account the overall health and the structure of your face.

So, the final step is to fix the mechanical stimulus. You need to practice suction mewing as many minutes throughout the day as possible. You need to practice thumb pulling to catalyze proper suction mewing multiple times throughout the day. Ideally five to eight times. And then most importantly, you need to combine this with loosening the fascia. You can do different exercises, but if you have a large nose or if you have a dorsal hump or if you have problems breathing, the most common area that most people will feel tension is in the zygomas in this area pocketed up here stuck in the midface near the zygomaticomaxillary suture. So, what I want you to do is perform zygomatic pulling before you perform thumb pulling. And I know it sounds nuts. I know it sounds crazy. I know these terms sound cringe, but this is all rooted in how the body actually works. It works with your body. You're doing it to yourself. It's biologically regulated by your own thumbs. You're going to put your thumbs inside your mouth just by the zygomaticomaxillary suture massage upwards and outwards. Then perform thumb pulling throughout the day and then perform suction mewing every single minute of the day. And things will slowly be able to shift in the right direction as long as you have your body posture and your baseline habits rewired.

Again, this is just the tip of the iceberg. If you want more, you can work with me directly. But hopefully this provides a rough explanation for why most nose jobs don't tackle the root cause. Why although there may be some good nose jobs out there, they will still relapse and why a significant amount of people develop breathing problems long term. And by the way, no matter how old you are, you can loosen the fascia, adapt the sutures, and open up the lymphatic pathways. This isn't limited by age. The only limit in reality is your mind. How consistent can you be? And the fact of the matter is, how much money does a nose job cost? How much recovery time is there? How many revisions will you need? This, in the grand scheme of things, if you commit to this for a few months and begin to shift things in alignment, not only will your nose come upwards and forwards, your jaw will as well, your cheekbones will come wider, you'll breathe better, and you'll be healthier and better looking. Take action.
