Nehemiah Abilene50:12

Transcription

Thank you for tuning in to any of our videos. We also want to just ask your forgiveness if anything in this comes off offensive or abrasive. It is not our intent to cause division. What we would like you to do is enter into just a relationship as a Believer with us, knowing that we're as much of a work in progress as you are, and that you would continue to pray for Nehemiah Abene.

I've become very leery of the ones that they're saying stuff that nobody else is saying. Now, there can be a depth of revelation that expands on something or brings clarity or simplicity that someone hasn't done. You get what I'm picking up what I'm putting down? Like, I may be able to explain the same thing to you that somebody else said 900 times, and you get revelation. That's going to be normal because what I got for you may be different than what somebody else has for you, and you can only receive it for me. No big deal. But there should be this thing across the body, if it is one Spirit, that's saying the same thing. Now, it may utter something different to a prophet because of the office of a prophet, but it'll be, listen, it can be. It says, and uh, uh, to be judged by prophets. I, I can't remember that. Do you know what I'm talking about? It says you prophesy, and the other prophets are supposed to judge your prophecy. And so, like, there's going to be a multitude of prophets prophesying the same thing. A lot. Elijah, look at Elijah, Elisha, whichever one it was. It said, I'm the only one. He said, no, no, no, no, no, there's 7,000 more. That means there's prophets just like you saying the exact same thing all over the world. And it should throw a red flag if what somebody is saying is absolutely different than everyone else. It should throw up some red flags. I'm not trying to criticize any individual. I'm just saying in my journey, I'll start listening to folks, and there should be some similarities, even if you know the, the, what is it, the theology or the doctrine, or if there's differences in it. Like, you go to Matt Chandler, and Matt Chandler from Village Church, phenomenal. He's going to expand on scripture. It's going to be biblical scripture. Then and now, it's going to be like that. He went to a Baptist seminary. That's what it's going to be. That's their style, but it's going to link up and it's going to be very similar to what I hear Steph Fiddick saying, even though the style is completely different. And people, I may get, yeah, man, people may really hate me over that comment, but I see the, I hear the similarities. I'll hear somebody at Bethel, uh, in Reading, California, either J, uh, uh, Johnson, Bill Johnson, or Chris Votaw, or one of those guys preaching something, and I'll hear the same thing coming out of, like, a Pastor Vlad. It'll be similar. It won't be the exact same because the revelation is different, but it'll be similar because it's one body, right?

What I want to look at is identity within that body. Uh, and I love when people teach from a place of revelation, like, this is what I'll tell you. This is what God told me. I'm just trying to tell you what he told me. I'm not going to tell you you're going to burn if you don't believe it. I'm not going to tell you you're going to stumble and fall if you don't buy into it. But if the Spirit is moving through me and something pricks your heart and you are encouraged, you're encouraged by what's about to be said, then I believe we're on the same page. Cuz all I want to do is encourage you in your identity. I'm not trying to strip away anything or add to anything. I'm just going to try to really get into what I believe that it says and how we fully walk into that. You understand? Good.

Alright, stand up. You get, you're sleepy all the time. It's been a day. No, ain't coming down anymore. It's just sleepy. You know, there was this kid we know. You know, that Jansen actually did not have narcolepsy. You don't know him. Did you know that? Remember how they thought he had narcolepsy and all that? No, no, no. He had Type 1 diabetes. Yeah, yeah. They diagnosed him with narcolepsy and then three years later diagnosed him with Type 1 diabetes. It's crazy. Doctors can get it wrong sometimes. But this is what I know. When those eyes get heavy and it starts to cross a little bit, just stand up. You know what I'm talking about? When that one goes blurry 'cause it's turned too far in, just stand up.

I'm going to pray for us real quick. Father God, I just thank you for who you are and what you're doing in this place. I thank you for every man in this room, every family represented. Lord God, I ask that you allow the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable and pleasing to you, my Rock and my Redeemer, making all of us a pure heart and a right spirit in Jesus. Jesus name I pray. Amen.

Uh, Hon, give me Acts 19:14-16. That's where we're going to start and that's where we're going to finish. Uh, Caleb, Dakota. Caleb, Caleb, Dakota. Why did we decide we go out? Go do we decide why we go by Dakota? I go by Dakot. I, why? I mean, did they, does, is there someone else named Caleb or is it? No, no. That's the only reason why you regularly go by Dakota. Okay. Uh, give me 1 Peter 2:9. Uh, Eddie, where's your Bible? That is not where it belongs. I need an essay. I actually, I need you to write the Bible prayer, like, let's say 20 times. Uh, Salvador, oh, you got a Bible. You're going to share with them. Give me Philippians 4:1-13. Gilbert, give me Colossians 1:27. Uh, Raul, give me 1 John 4:13. Dang, I wrote Second Timothy but I didn't write the scripture down. Hold that for me. I just put Second Timothy. Colossians. Oh, no, no, no. Colossians 1:27. Uh, you know what's funny is I actually accidentally deleted this twice. So I think it's really supposed to be in there. I think that's what it is. I think, no, that is Colossians 1:27. So it would have been, that's First John. I don't know what it was. I don't know what I had for Second Timothy. Okay, where I stopped. Uh, who would I stop on? Raul, give me, uh, Matthew 22:36-40. And then, uh, somebody over here, just hold at the ready, uh, 1 Corinthians 13:4-10. Y'all understand we always come back to that one, right? But we always come out of that one because of Matthew 22. Give me Acts 19. Who had it? 19:46. Read aloud.

"Seven sons of a Jewish namea were doing this. Seven sons of Sceva were doing this. But the evil spirit answered them, 'Jesus I know, and I recognize.' But who are you?" And the in was the evil spirit leaped on them, mastered all of them, and overpowered them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded." Whooped them naked. Listen, how and why? There's power in the name of Jesus, right? If there's power in the name of Jesus, how did they declare the name of Jesus and the name of Paul, whose handkerchiefs would heal, and they still got whooped out of their clothes? This is an important question. We're going to start and end with this scripture. Why? How did the demon not submit to the name of Jesus? How? Go ahead, tell me.

Doesn't have n— Well, yeah. Okay, keep going, keep going. Elaborate. Truth. They really didn't know. No, that's not why. I, no, no, no. I'm just telling you that that's not why. What, what do you got? Is power? No. Well, I mean, he has like, uh, no authority though. The, the authority of the name of Jesus should have overpowered and and and and had the demon flee. Yeah. Look, stop the side talk. Focus. They didn't have faith. No, it has nothing to do. God is always faithful. What the, guys didn't believe. Like they didn't really have Jesus in them. Like, now we're getting somewhere. We're getting somewhere a little bit. We're, we're getting somewhere. Look, check this out. Read it again. I'm going to stop you somewhere.

"Seven sons of a Jewish high priest named Sceva were doing this. But the evil spirit answered them, 'Jesus I know, and Paul I recognize.' But who are you?" And the man, he said, "I know who this is. I know who this is." Guess who didn't know who they were? It's because the seven Sceva sons of Sceva didn't know who they were. See what I'm saying? So my identity has to be in Christ. It doesn't matter how much faith. We, listen, people were healed because of their faith. I'm not denying that. But there's a scripture that says, even if we're faithless, he remains faithful. He'll, he'll perform miracles so that you increase your faith, not because you have enough faith. Although sometimes he, listen, there's that lady that bothered the judge, the unjust judge, and he did it 'cause she aggravated him. And it's like, if that'll do it, what will God do if you aggravate him? Like, you petition, you petition, you petition, and eventually he's just, he'll do it. That's what that says. But what we're talking about is identity. It says, it says, "In the name of Jesus, the God that Paul serves," right? And he said, "I know him, and I know him." And he whoops them because they didn't know who they were in Christ. That's why I'm saying the part of "in Christ." It was, we can tie it to believe very loosely, but to know who I am is important. To know that it only happens in him, me in him. It doesn't matter how, uh, I heard a guy give a testimony one time about, uh, a dude praying for people that had never prayed for people, and a blind lady got her sight. I can't remember where it was. I don't remember who it was, but they gave a testimony of it, right? And, uh, oh, no, anyway. But the whole point of the story is that the guy didn't have any faith, but and it was to show that it was, it was to show him where the power came from. The power comes from the name of Jesus, but also the identity of Christ in me. It's not me that wields this power. It's not, I don't go and just wield this magical juice that can heal people, that can deliver people. It's not that. It's not magic. Spirit, but it comes with identity. It comes with identity. By His stripes, we're healed, right? What is my identity look like? If my identity looks like Jesus, I should be healed. It's not the magic, right? It's not because he said that it occurs. It's because of who I am in Him. Are we picking up what I'm putting down? You look confused, Avery. They didn't know who they were. Remember we had that conversation about as a believer? Now, what if, if a guy comes up and pulls his gun, and most believers are going to say, "I'mma kill him." And I get it. I, I, I can, I understand the logic of that, to defend your family. And I'm not trying to depend on magic Jesus, but if everything is spiritual, if we really believe in what we say we believe in, if we believe in the word, then it means that what I have is greater than anything else. It doesn't mean I can stop a bullet, although I know God could. But it does believe, if I, if I truly walk in my identity, identified fully with Christ, that I, as I encounter the man on the beach that's been beating everybody down, he should be delivered. And a bunch of pigs kill himself. If you don't know scripture, you're not picking up what I'm putting down. But there's a part of that that says I can enter into this place with love and compassion for that human being. And if I'm walking in full authority with Jesus, then there should be a deliverance. I, I would think. I don't know. I hope I never have to face that down, right? And there's been some that have, right? But I always wonder if their testimony of loving Jesus right up into the moment of their death is what glorified God the most and had other people believe. Because God is about the kingdom, and so should we. We're not about the protection of the earthly vessel. Not saying we do stupid things, but we are about His kingdom and building it. And so we want God to get the glory out of our life as much as our death. This is a big piece to swallow. It's a big bite, you know what I'm saying? This is where we step into the depth of our identity. Look, I'm talking to men who've literally tried to kill themselves their entire life, or at least since you started using dope, to be able to step fully into this identity of love. Those who've been loved much can love much. You're here still, despite all the things that you've done or put the people through. It's because you have the capacity and ability to fully accept your identity in Christ. You have the ability to do that and then exude that.

Give me 1 Peter 2:9. Hold on a second. What they come to the middle or whatever like you said, or walk around? So, so look, so whenever you go to speak, whenever he's recording, whenever you go to speak, just walk up to the center so that he can hold the mic for you. We'll get a mic stand up and then that way he can record it on there. Cut all that out, please. Yeah, thanks.

"But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation." Hold on, hold on. "A chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation." What do you, listen, check it out. What do you call Jacob? Ro— What do you call Jacob? What was Jacob's name changed to? Israel. A holy nation. But you are a chosen people, a royal priest, a holy people. Man, it's good. Keep going. "God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful life." Read it one more time. "But you are, you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation." It doesn't say peculiar in your version. Why did they remove that for the church folk? They did it for, for the clean dressed one. Listen, I like the one that said, talks about weird people. Anybody got that? What, what version are you reading out of? An idea. Yeah. Give me a New King James version. Go for it. "But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light." Is it just King James? Huh? People? No, no. I want peculiar people. Nobody's got King James. Is it only in King James? Don't be looking up virgins. 29 says receiving the in your faith the salvation of your souls of which salvation prophets have inquired and searched. Second Peter or is that First Peter? Sorry, sir. What's going on with your wrist there? I don't know, bro. Out of there. I've been up all night almost. Uh, second Peter. Two. I was just in First Peter. Second. Second Peter. First Peter 2:9. You were not out 29. I can tell you that much. N— My bad. There's a lot of editing in this one. Eric. Yeah, yeah. Sorry about that. There we go. There you go. King James 2:9. Crap. Excuse my French. Receiving the end of your faith. Yeah, that's one. Where's, go ahead, Matt. "But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, and holy nation, a peculiar, peculiar people." Go. That's it. Matt Jones, guess what you are. It would only make sense that you would be the one that reads that. Yes, sir. I'm a weirdo. We're weirdos. Listen, let's be honest. Be honest. We never fit in. Be honest. We never fit in. Think about it. You never fit in. And it's okay. Hold on. Listen. It's okay. The design, your identity is the fact that you never fit in. You were never meant to fit in. You were never meant to fit in. He designed you by His own hand to lead, to be a sacrifice, to have a testimony for those He foreknew. He predestined before the foundations of the earth. He knew what you would do and chose you first because you were weird, because you don't fit the normal mold, because you're not going to conform to the ways of the world. You, whether even in conforming to the ways of the world, you didn't conform to the ways of the world, or you wouldn't end up here. You couldn't do it. It wasn't in your nature. You weren't designed with it. He made you to rebel. He made you to seek something out. He made you to seek Him out above all things, to change the way you feel. That's why we're addicts. Hold on. That could be confusing. As addicts, we constantly try to change the way we feel. As believers, we will seek with a greater level of desperation so that we can encounter Him in that place. And it isn't all about how you feel in Jesus, but man, does it feel good when you touch the hem of His robe. It ain't all about that, but that's one of the bonuses. Does that make sense? You never fit in. And then, listen, phase three. Guys are always going to try to shift back into normal. They're going to try to. It's so dis— It's really, it's not discouraging because I know you're going to do it. Everybody does. And that, because I, we've got to decrease. Uh, the staff here has to decrease so that your personal relationship with Jesus is as desperate as it was the first day that you came in, because you're going to have this idea of what life should look like now, instead of surrendering step by step, moment by moment to Him as a royal priest, as a chosen people, as a holy nation. You're going to try to go back and fit into a mold that never worked. Why do you think you relapsed? You have this idea of normalcy that's supposed to occur, that you're never meant to fit in. And you get clean, and then you're, it's like you, you're back to where you were. One, that's the rehab. This ain't a rehab. This is a ministry where you can be made new, brand new prototype, new everything. Behold, all things are made new. But at six months, you got to choose it. At six months, you got to choose to believe it. You got to choose to believe. If you, because it's easy to choose it right now. It's easy to choose it right now. Listen, I actually want to make an apology. Uh, you guys that live upstairs are doing something I could never do, and it will be fixed today. Not only the, whatever's going on in that center area, that smell, it's going to be taken care of today. Amen. We're going to have some commercial linoleum laid. It may take us a couple days to do that so that we can bleach and Fabuloso, so it'll change that. I will have multiple fans set up so that it pulls a draft up. But listen, this is what I'm going to tell you. The more y'all run in and out that door in the evening, the hotter it's going to be upstairs. Just know that one. But I'm telling you right now, at this place in my walk, I would already beat somebody up up there. I would have. 'Cause it's too much. The heat, the smell, the, it had been too much for me to deal with. Somebody would have came with one slight comment. So I commend you guys and I apologize. I beg your forgiveness. Uh, I went up there one morning and I thought it was just a one-time thing. I didn't know it was consistent. So it'll be changed and fixed today. Uh, to be able to grab on to that still level of desperation to stay with what's, what's happening up there, that's a big deal. But could you do that at six months? I had two guys ready to walk out, uh, last night, because I took their phones from them, 'cause I took their phones. Look, do you see what I'm saying? Because we want to go back to normalcy. I've got this, and this, and this in my life. And if you're ready to run out the door at this point because you lost access for a few days, it ain't even real to you yet. You're still trying to make people happy, and we can't make people happy. We're called to something greater. That they either going to follow us or fall away. You understand? And so you got to realize that, listen, my family are them that do the will of God. I'm going this direction, and they have the ability to follow me in this, regardless of my past, 'cause the old man died.

Read it one more time for me so we can move on. "You are a—" Who's? "Us." "Us." "Me." "Me." "Me." It's got to be personal. It's got to be personal. "Chosen people." That's me. "A royal priest." That means a king and a priest. Listen, uh, I, I don't know if CJ or somebody else said it the other day. A prophet talks to the people for God. A king, uh, oh, wait. What? Yeah, a king, uh, it has authority over the people on behalf of God. And a priest talks to God on behalf of the people. And it just said both. You are a priest and a king. So it means you're called to rule and speak to God on behalf of the people. But we get caught up on the people not serving us. And I, intercession. I'm mad at Oscar 'cause Oscar smells a little funky. And no, he, he do really. We're on camera. Oscar does not. Let me clarify. Oscar does not smell funky. But instead of going and interceding on his behalf, does that make sense? A royal priest. You're called to have authority and speak to God on behalf of the people. That's who we are in this room. That's who we are. That's why you can never fit in. You can never fit in because you're called to see all of those things and lay them at the feet of God for them, and then rule and reign for the kingdom on earth, which is opposite of the world. It means in the kingdom, we lay our down on our belly so others walk over us so that the hope is they never have to touch the harsh ground. What? Yeah, of course. That's the authority. You talking about? I think that's called also called manipulation. I think that's the gift going without repentance. I think it's a, I don't think the authority comes in the image of Christ. So I don't think it was that. I think it was the gift going without repentance. See, you have the ability to articulate the word that would inspire and edify and build up. And whenever you do, you can take that same gift, promote yourself, and everybody look at it and be like, just the, it's the gift going without repentance. It's narcissism at best. Me. We like to put some fancy, you know, Christian language on it, but the reality is it's narcissism. It's, I'm the most important thing in the room, and I will sell that to you so that you believe it. And because some others weren't naturally designed before the foundation of the earth with the gift to articulate or or speak a story into existence, see what I'm saying? Cast a vision. See, when you cast a vision, people see the vision and they surrender and submit to the vision. Y'all know that's what y'all surrender and submit to is the one that carries the vision. So it's just a gift going without repentance.

Sent somebody, give me Philippians 4:11-13. Who had it? Seth. Did it. Seth had it. "Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am to be content. I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." There it is. Hold on. Listen. So it says, look, look. In our identity, we know He, we, we have a Father in Heaven, yeah. And He's got everything met, so we're content, no matter what. If we need plenty so that they'll believe, so that we can have radical generosity. If we're called to an office of authority that dispenses finance to support other things, to build the kingdom, then we're going to have it. If we're called to be in a place where we're brought low, so that we have the people we're ministering to, listen, if you got too much money, but you're called to minister people without money, but you ain't got enough to give away. And what if it, what if it? I think it said it in the Psalm. I think the psalmist said it best. He said, uh, "God, don't make me rich because I'll fall away from you, and don't make me too poor because I'll dishonor you." And I think that's how that went. What if it's that simple? What if God loves you so much He won't give you that much? What if it has nothing to do with generosity? You be the most generous person ever, and those He foreknew, He predestined, He loves you more than you can ever imagine, and the desires of your heart never enter into your mind. And so He knows the greatest desire you have is to never fall away from Him. And so He hinders those things or hedges those things away from you because it'll corrupt the depth of your heart and you'll fall away from Him. And whoever it was that you were meant to tie up a donkey for or create a dinner for, listen, look, Jesus said, "Go into Jerusalem. There'll be a brand new colt tied. Grab it. If they ask you what it's for, tell them the Lord needs it." That means God had instructed somebody to tie that donkey. And then He said, "Look, go to this room. There's going to be somebody. There's already going to be dinner made for you." We don't even know who did it, but they came in, then they just sat down and ate. Right? A royal priest may live his whole life waiting to be told to tie up one donkey, or he may be told when he reached 12 that he's going to change the world. And then at 29, he's told, "Go tie up the donkey." And by tying up the donkey, change the entire world. If it's not about us, we're content. We're content whether we have enough money to where we can provide a feast without worries in a room that's given over where they could relax and eat together, or we may have just enough to have a donkey on hand at all times, tied up and ready. Do we want the kingdom? And someone will never know our name. Hey, focus. Someone may, may never even know your name, but He will know your name. "I can do all things." It, it sums up with, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." I can be content because of Him who's in me, because I'm getting, I'm intentional about my relationship with Him. My cry is, "God, allow me to encounter You. God, allow me to be used by You. Let me, I don't want to speak something something that's not of You. I want to be able to reflect Your image. I want people to know You through me and never even know who I am."

What does a donkey represent? Something when Jesus was headed in at entering into Jerusalem, a prophecy. There was a prophecy that He would ride in on an unbroken colt, you know, a colt, a small horse, or they say donkey. I, that one's, I'm from Texas. Colt. This does not mean donkey, but I'm not going to argue with scripture. Uh, and it was Him riding in on this donkey, the Messiah. It was a prophecy about the Messiah, correct? Bob? And so that's what, that's the significance. But this, the thing, what's significant to me isn't that He rode it on a donkey 'cause I don't even know where that prophecy's found. What's significant to me is that somebody had a brand new donkey. It's like, I just got a brand new car and it's outside, and all I'm doing is every year I'm buying a new car and making sure it's there and ready, because at one point somebody's going to pull up and they're going to say, "I need those keys. The Lord sent me." I'd say, "Yes." And nobody ever knew his name. Who, what was the guy's name that tied up the donkey? What tribe of Israel was he? Was he a Samaritan? Was he a Pharisee? Nobody knows. It doesn't say. Same thing about the dude that prepared the meal. Nobody do, never say. It just says, "Go, and it'll be ready for you." And the reason why nobody ever made sure they knew is because somebody was securing their identity. Somebody was so secure in their identity that they knew that Jesus' story, the gospel of Christ, needed to matter more than some random name placed in scripture. And it's not, you can't steal God's glory. Listen, everybody always says that. That's the most arrogant I've ever heard. Forgive me, Lord, forgive me, me, for my foul mouth. The most arrogant thing I've ever heard as a believer is, "Well, I'm not trying to steal God's glory." How, how are you going to steal God's glory if He's God? You know what I'm saying? It's like, let me go get Thor's hammer. Can't do it. You can't steal God's glory. You, in your belief, glorify Him. And your immaturity in your partnership with Christ would cause you to say that. That means deep down, He needs to work out that pride because I'm trying to show humility or false humility by saying that. Most times, that's just you being real and honest with yourself. If I'm real and honest with myself, I get awkward and uncomfortable when somebody says, "Man, thank you for saving my life." Until I found out what real maturity was. And real maturity says, "You're welcome," because I know that it comes from Him, but I know He chose to partner with me because my identity is in Him. And He designed me, chose me, set me apart, put me in position as a royal priest here, not because I'm so great, but because He's so great. And without Him, I couldn't be in position. But He wants me to know I'm known by Him. And so me saying, "You're welcome," and then in my inside, I'm like, "God, thank You for choosing me." That's maturity. The other is false humility. It's fake. There's still that part of you that wants to be seen and known. I had to realize that about myself when He told me I'd have to give everything away. And Dan Mohler comes. Were you here for Dan? You weren't here for Dan Mohler. Dan Mohler comes. Huh? Not the roof guy. Uh, and I'm scheduled to speak with my fa— my, the pastor that I've listened to and world-renowned, like, just this dude. And I go up, it's my turn to speak, and he says, "Can I trust you to give this time to somebody else and elevate them higher than you?" I'm like, and so I process it. I'm like, "God, can God trust me enough to give something away?" And at the same time, I'm dealing with myself because I wasn't sure when I started talking. Then I realized, this, my identity is in Him. My identity is in the Son that's obedient because of His goodness. When the Father tells me, "Can I trust you?" I say, "Yes, Dad. Yes, Dad." Because I'm a part, like it's the prodigal son that never left home, but that knows that he has the whole kingdom at his disposal. I'm that prodigal son now that never left, that's at home with the full dis— with full kingdom at my disposal. Every step is His will now. That's where you get to in maturity. I'm not talking about holiness. I'm still a work in progress on that one. But in maturity of my identity, to know fully that I'm His son. I'm His favorite son. Did you know that, Walter? Do you know I'm His favorite? Do you know you're His favorite too? I don't know how it works, but He's God. I'm not supposed to.

Give me Colossians 1:27, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. That's it. What is the hope of glory? Christ in us. Christ in us is the hope of glory. To be known by Him and to know Him. Similar. I was saying, thinking of it a different way. Listen, do you know? Hold on. We raise our hand. This is the thing. Like, what is it to be in the presence of God's glory? What, what would it be? No, no, no. Presence has is a key part, right? Glory is like His manifested presence. Christ in us, the hope of glory. What does that mean? Christ in us, the hope of the manifested presence of God, the tangible presence of God. Christ in us, the hope of His manifested presence. Where? Right now. Here. Right now. This moment. Christ in us, the hope of glory. He made this known to the Gentiles, that Christ in us is the hope of glory. Christ in us is the hope of His manifested presence. Now, right here, the tangible presence of God. It means whenever, listen, seven sons of Sceva, the God that Paul, uh, Jesus, and then he says, "I know Him. I know Him." And then, listen, because he says it's that he sees Jesus. It's that because you know who you are. That demon would say, "I know Paul, and I see Jesus." It wasn't Paul. It was the glory of God that was the tangible presence of God on the handkerchief. Make sense? The hope of glory is what? That glory is what would have delivered that demon-possessed man. Because the more I know who He is, and I know who I am, the known by Him, and to know Him, the more His presence manifests in my life. The more I catch a glimpse of His eye whenever I look in the mirror, that it's Jesus in me. We don't know what we'll be yet, but we know when we see Him, we will know Him. You understand? Did you raise your hand? Oh, 1 John 4:13. Yeah, that one. Is that right? 4:11 or 13? What I did, you told me to do that one, huh? Did you tell me to do? I don't know. 4:13 was it? 4:13. Alright, 4:13. Who's got it? "By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us." There it is. Right there. Listen, that's it. You need to know that. You need to know that it's us in Him, specifically us in Him, and Him in us. We have to enter into Him, and then Him into us. Go ahead, read it. Read the whole thing. "By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit. And we have seen and testified that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world. Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God." And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God. There it is. Look, look. The manifested presence of God. Christ in us, the hope of glory. It states it right there that that we're in Him, He's in us. He's in God. God's in Him. And God is love. And he who abides in love abides in Him. Wrap up the. There should be like two words left. And God. Him. See, now we're getting to an important part. See, there's a power. There's a power associated with the identity. There's a, there has, there's a power that specifically that ties us to God and to Jesus. It's called the Holy Spirit. That's the power. That's where the power is. So the identity, the authority. The authority is in the image of Christ. That's why before you couldn't have had it. You had the gift, but not authority. That's what makes us royal. It's the identity of royalty. Jesus in us, adopted into the vine. Right? He's the first of many brothers. In Him, therefore, no way to the Father but through the Son. Through the Son, in Him. You understand? In Him. You got to go through the Son, not to Him, through Him, in Him. Therefore, and it's only in Him, in His identity, in the identity of sonship, that we're then covered. We're covered by the blood. We're made new. God's own righteousness, royalty. And then as we abide in love, listen, uh, I do remember which Second Timothy it says, "We are not given a spirit of fear." I don't remember where it is, but, uh, Salon, what of sound? Somebody read it. Where is that at? Second Timothy, what? Or is it First Timothy? Second Timothy. First Timothy. It's a Timothy, or is it a Timmy or Timbo? Timmy Bob. "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." Of power, love, and of a sound mind. That was the one that was God was going to read because I wanted to tie it into the fruit of the Spirit. The very first one being love. Next scripture I set to tap somebody, you have it on tap, is 1 Corinthians 13:4-10. And all it is is that love chapter, right? It's that thing that reminds us the definition of love and the important parts of never keeping counting any wrongs, never seeking your own. That's where you're going to fall short most. It's going to become all about you again, selfish, self-centered, self-seeking. It's going to be so subtle. It's going to be how you please your flesh, regardless of anyone else. Listen, this is what I know as a believer. Sex without love is violence. It is. We don't like to look at it like that, right? But it is. It's a damage. It causes damage, even if it's just perpetuating damage that's already been done. The power. It says we abide in Him and Him in us. It says He, He's love. And if we abide in Him, we abide in love. And there's the power. The power of the Holy Spirit. The power of obedience. The greatest command found in Matthew, uh, 22:36-40. Let's read it. Who had it? Picture which is which is the great commandment in the law? And he said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the law and the prophets." You're only ever going to be able to love first. You're only ever going to know love because you receive His love. Read the book of John. Read the book of John as many times as it takes. If we need to get to know who He is to get to know who we are, right? Him and us, and us and Him. Christ in us, the hope of glory. And He is in us, and we are in Him. And He is in God, and God is in Him. And if we abide in Him, then we abide in love. And if we abide in love, then we follow the commandments, the law. We are no longer bound by the law. We are bound by that single commandment. And God in Romans 8, we find out Jesus fulfilled the requirement that allows us to do this. And I'll be able to love people, people to the capacity that I love me. Everybody's in a rush to find a girl or find a wife or find some stuff. But until you love yourself, you'll be incapable of loving them. Intimacy will be something that you can never attain, and it will become obsession. And no matter how many times you have sex with them, it ain't ever going to fill. It ain't ever going to fulfill you. And we perpetuate this cycle because we never step into our identity, which is rooted in love. Love never seeks its own and never rejoices in being right. I don't have to be right anymore. I had a guy ask to teach here one time, and I said, "What are you going to teach?" He said, "I teach men how to argue apologetics." And I said, "Well, that don't even line up with Jesus for me. If I got to argue into submission, I'm not doing it right." My character, the character of love. The character of love. Love. What is holiness? What is holiness? Anybody? Not you, Ra. Somebody raise their hand. What, start? Yeah, no. What is it? Process? No, that's sanctification. I think so. I think it's found in that description. I think that absolute, never righteousness. No, right. We'll explain that one later. No, no, no. I think it would be, I think it would be if it says God is love, and God is holy, and the first fruit of the Spirit is love, and it says, "Be holy like He's holy." If we can grab on to that First Corinthians 13:4 through 8 or 10, and we can really hang on to it, and we can let that manifest, that first fruit, don't chase out any other fruits. Don't go after nothing else. Don't go after the gifts. Just read that scripture every time you come across love in the Bible, or every time you say it, whether it's towards a biscuit or her biscuits. Read the description. Where did, where did Hon go? H— Somebody give me, uh, Acts 19:14-16, which was his. Read it. Somebody read it.

"Also, there were seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, who did so. And the evil spirit answered and said, Wait, you just skipped a whole bunch of crap. Somebody else read. Somebody got it. Seven, seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish, uh, chief priest, were doing this one day. The evil spirit answered them, 'Jesus I know, and Paul I know about. But who are you?'" Hold on. What was the motive? What was the motive? I mean, I don't know what their motive was. We don't, we, it doesn't say what their motive was. But, uh, man, I've seen more men delivered by us just loving on them. In fact, you know, we've seen manifestation deliverances before, and it's not hard to do those. What happens more often than not is those men continue to relapse. They get, listen, they get delivered from everything that's held them in bondage for years and years and years, and there's not a process to fill them up. And so they leave 'cause they feel good, feel clear for the first time. They've got it. They know what to do. And they go out there empty, and those same things hit, boom, boom, boom, and they begin to use again. But any man that'll stick through the process for us to truly love him, for us to love you from the start to the finish, Eric, all the way through, to build this group of people around you that encourages you, that then you go out and you begin to encourage, I promise you'll be set up for success. When you don't open all areas for us to be able to do that, and you keep some over here, that place of iniquity will corrupt everything. Love has to penetrate to the depths of every place in your life, but you have to allow us to, so that you can walk fully in the new identity. Do you understand? They didn't know who they were. That's why I whooped them. They had no clue who they were.

Father God, I thank you for these men. I thank you for this time. Bless us. Keep us. In Jesus name I pray. Amen. Amen. [Music]
