I'm going to explain to you in this video exactly how I doubled my testosterone nearly in 90 days from 447 to 801. In my case, my hormones sit between 750 to roughly 1000 naturally, and that depends on what herbs I'm taking, how I'm training, how I'm sleeping, all the protocols, etc.
So, you can imagine how debilitated I was when I came into the office and got a blood test and realized I was 447. Now, I wasn't surprised because when I went in there, I was feeling like crap. I was feeling horrible. I knew something was off. I didn't know what. But when I saw 447 for a guy who's sitting around a thousand, that's pretty, pretty, pretty low, you know. So, I went on a mission to correct that.
Number one, tongkat ali. Tongkat ali is a herb from Malaysia. Now, I've been a herbalist for many years, but tongkat ali is literally probably one of the only herbs on paper that will actually boost your total testosterone, your free testosterone, lower estrogen slightly, and lower SHBG, which is sex hormone binding globulin, which actually increases your free testosterone. So, I use that at a dosage of probably, I would say, 1,200 milligrams a day, uh, upwards to 1,500 milligrams a day.
Number two, I lowered my estrogen. Your testosterone is actually a balancing act. Meaning that if you are in the normal reference range of all your numbers, but yet some of your numbers are in the high reference range. Let's say your estrogen is at 40, for example, which would be at the top of the chart, but your testosterone is at 500, which would be at the middle of the chart. That is still a hormone imbalance within the normal reference range. Now, your general practitioner will just say that's normal. It's not. A really good endocrinologist will keep everything balanced. So, if your testosterone is in the the middle reference range, you want your estrogen in the middle reference range. If your estrogen's in the high range, you probably want testosterone that's in the higher range. Otherwise, it creates an imbalance. But here's the thing, it works as a seesaw. So, I basically took my 40 estrogen level and I lowered it down to 20. And that already spiked me around 150 to 200 points right off the bat because my testosterone naturally pulled upwards once I fixed the imbalance.
The third thing I used is something called stinging nettle root. Now, there is something called stinging nettle root and there's stinging nettle leaf. We're not talking about the leaf. We are talking about the root. The root specializes in your hormonal profile, specifically lowering SHBG and also lowering estrogen slightly. So if you have high SHBG or you have high estrogen, stinging nettle root is the answer for this, and it worked wonderfully for me.
Number four, you need to use progressive overload. No matter which way you use it, you have to use it. That means if you are doing sprints every day until failure, or you are lifting weights to your maximum genetic potential until failure, as long as your central nervous system gets hit hard, gets hit directly and has to recover, this is going to increase your testosterone. It did for me.
The next thing I did was I lowered my cortisol levels. Why? Because if cortisol levels are high and you're under high stress, just like I told you before with the estrogen, there is a seesaw between cortisol and testosterone. So the higher your cortisol levels are, the lower your testosterone will start to creep down. So I took ashwagandha, uh, one of my favorite herbs for lowering cortisol. Now, people confuse ashwagandha as a testosterone booster. It does not boost testosterone. For the love of God, I tell people this all the time, it lowers cortisol. And if your cortisol is already too high, that means your testosterone will be normally lower than where it would be anyways. So, what it would do is you'd be lowering your cortisol and your testosterone would simply be going back up to where it was. And that's why people think ashwagandha boosts testosterone. It doesn't.
So, that's how I increased my testosterone from 447 to 801. Comment, subscribe, hit the like button. Thanks. See you next time. Ciao.
