Word on the street is that many people are ditching the carnivore diet. Some long-term carnivores are stopping carnivore. And why is that happening? Is carnivore a diet you can only do for short term? Is carnivore diet the wrong solution? Is it their fault? Is it the diet? What's going on? Let's take a look at some of the reasons. I'll share my thoughts in this real talk episode. I now eat a lot of meat and so do they. If you want to thrive, you need to eat meat. Meat is required.
Hey guys, my name is Judy Cho and I'm board certified in holistic nutrition and I have a private functional medicine practice where we focus on root cause healing and that often starts with the carnivore cures all meat elimination diet. So I have a full-time practice and I don't see a lot of the trends that are going on in social media but we will see it through our clients. So, our clients will share updates. And one thing we are hearing was that there were people that were leaving the carnivore diet. And so, my team asked me to do this podcast episode because they thought it would be nice to have a female perspective on why I think people are leaving the diet, if people are really leaving the diet, and just my thoughts overall about this trend.
So, I'm going to start with the most controversial one. I think that in general, there are ebbs and flows with diets in general. And not too long ago, carnivore had this popularity beyond what most even carnivore influencers probably expected. There was this trend where carnivore is probably the diet to follow. Even RFK shares that he eats a mostly carnivore diet. And so there was this trend of carnivore being so popular. But with all diets, there ends up having a group of people that then exit. And usually they follow many different diets all throughout their life. And as a clinician, what I will just say is most diets, maybe not a plant-based diet, but most diets have some type of benefits. Whether it's a paleo diet, a ketogenic diet, a carnivore diet, they all have benefits. And if you tend to jump around diets and even ways to lose weight, usually it's not really the tools, but maybe the timing. And maybe it's even your self in that whole situation. What is going on with your habits, with your desires for looking for the next shiny thing? And could that have been a play in then saying that carnivore doesn't work? If we believe that something is working so well and then we want to sort of get off it, but then we don't have a real legitimate excuse. When we start hearing from other people thoughts and convictions that this diet doesn't work and in fact can be harmful, we want to then buy into it because it's then easier to justify to our old selves that once believed this diet was good that it is in fact bad and that we should be getting off and that carbs should be on the table and that it is good for hormones or it is good for the fill-in-the-blank illness that we're suffering with. And so it makes sense when diets ebb and flow because that's how social media is popular. The same thing will not be popular forever. Otherwise, social media will be boring. And so the ebb and flow of diet will naturally make carnivore popular at one point and it'll also become villainized at another point and it'll do it again. And the South Beach diet, keto diets, Atkins diet, these are all very similar diets. And it's just a focus or a little spin that makes it slightly different. And so it is inevitable in the diet world where people are chasing a quick weight loss that carnivore may blow up and then it becomes less popular. And for the people that are using it as a metabolic tool, a tool for healing, that's where it's the saddest part because then you start getting doubts that this diet is not the answer for your healing. And so when then people are not healing enough or haven't seen the healing stories that they see online, then those seeds have now been planted and you start doubting the diet. And if you listen to any of my content on mind, body, and our perspectives, whatever you believe becomes true. And so if you believe a diet is no longer going to be the answer to healing, it is not going to be the diet to healing. And if you believe that no diets will heal you, then no diets will heal you. And your mind and what you place value on absolutely becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. If you look into the reticular activating system or the RAS, it is a hyper filter of whatever you're focusing on becomes your reality. And so if you believe in the carnivore diet, it is going to feed you. And social media algorithms work the same way. It will feed you even more what you believe in. So if you have a certain political view, it's going to feed you that. So you think that everyone has the viewpoint you do, but in reality, social media is just giving you what you want. And and so then when you start viewing that maybe carnivore isn't working enough because you're hitting a plateau or you're bored of the foods, you will also be fed that. And so it's easy then to get off the diet. So I think that is one of the biggest things that have happened when there are advocates that say, you know what, carnivore wasn't the thing for me. And then I just wonder if you look at their social media account, like what was the motive of sharing that? And I I don't know because I don't even know who really shared these things, but it's just something to think about as well.
Now, beyond that, I think the most common slip ups. Let me first share it as I as I usually do, but think of the curve, the bell curve. So, you know, in the bell curve, there's like that big peak. And so, most people fall in the middle. And so if you're on either the left side or the right side and you're on the tail ends and you're not part of that normal distribution, you have to wonder why because most humans are similar. And if most people can follow a carnivore diet relatively well without electrolyte imbalances, without having issues with fat consumption, then you have to ask why you're outside of that normal distribution. And that will give you or should give you answers about your chronic health or healing journey.
Okay. So the second thing I see is expectations. This kind of goes with the first where you believed in this diet and you were willing to try it and maybe in a month later you are having food cravings. It's not as enjoyable. It's hard. You go out to social settings and you don't feel as connected with other people. The enjoyment in food is not as much there. And you're not losing the weight. Your chronic illness journey is not really improving. And all of those factors then impact your ability to stay on the diet. So that's why I think planning is super super important and setting expectations. If you've been dealing with chronic illness, including autoimmune imbalances, blood sugar dysregulation, hypothyroid, Hashimoto's, these illnesses do not reverse overnight. I know blood sugar can improve very quickly, but in order to feel the true benefits with a carnivore diet, it takes time. And when we see overnight successes of I lost 100 pounds over six months, that is excessive. That is not a normal or ideal way to be losing weight and that quickly. Usually that means that they will have a tendency to gain some of that back. And so if we can be more realistic with our expectations and actually have a map laid out of what we expect to heal, maybe write down all the things that you were struggling from and then what you're planning to improve and then rate those symptoms after a month on carnivore. And if you use a sliding scale, so one being no symptoms and then 10 being the worst of symptoms, then if you let's say had joint pain as one of the things you wanted to improve on a carnivore diet and let's say you still have joint pain after a month or even three months, but if you used a scale, then you can see has it gone down from day one. And if it has, that is a win. And so I would highly suggest doing that so that you're not going by internet extremes, internet ideals, and instead you are going by your own expectations. And as long as you're moving in the right direction, then this diet is being a win. And so I would say people need to set expectations and be realistic and not be thinking that this diet is rainbows and unicorns. You can have a lot of healing, but it has to be realistic.
The third one, I've talked about this so much on my channel. I will put links into the show notes, but undereating is a big issue. We worked with thousands of people in our practice and almost every single person we have done a what do you eat in a day? Let's calculate the macros. And majority of people, I would say I would dare say over 85% of people undereat. And so even if you think that you are eating sufficiently, I would highly recommend looking at my episode that talks about what is sufficient eating on a carnivore diet. And for most women, they think it's too much eating. And what I'll say is if you're used to eating, sorry, I have to use Pokemon cards, but if you're used to eating this amount of meat in one sitting and then you then remove the carbs and all the snacking and you still eat this or just a little bit more than that, that is probably not enough food. And for most people, they feel that they no longer can eat more or they're so full and they're trying to go by their satiety. But the difference is that when we are eating carbohydrates, carbohydrates wets our appetite to eat more food. It makes us more hungry and so we want to eat more. When we're eating a low carb diet, a meat-based diet, a carnivore diet, ketogenic diet, your appetite does suppress a little bit because you're no longer feeling the effects of hunger. And so, we have to sort of remind ourselves to eat. And if you don't eat initially because you're like, whoa, I don't feel hungry for the first time in my life. And if you do that initially, you will tank your hormones. You will tank your thyroid because your body is going to try to survive another day. And so initially it will allow you to feel fine, but later you're going to feel the effects in your thyroid and hormones. And so it is not a carnivore diet that makes your thyroid and hormones imbalanced. And in fact, we have worked with many women that lost their period, were severely underweight, had eating disorders, and by eating a carnivore diet and nourishing enough, which means, yes, sometimes it means you're going to gain a little bit of weight, but they get their period back and consistently. Some people in our practice have gotten pregnant when they have tried so much even IVF to get pregnant. But by eating sufficiently, supporting their mental health, supporting their nourishment and movement and their mindset, they do get pregnant and they do get their menstruation back. Just track maybe for a week initially and make sure you're eating enough because many people will eat very very little starting off and they feel great cuz they're losing their weight but you're probably getting cortisol hits because cortisol is like go survive another day and go find food. But then fast forward months and if you've been undereating your thyroid's going to tank, your hormones are going to tank and the blame is on the diet. But in reality, it's often undereating.
And then this ties to the fourth one. If we know that protein, so let's use the same model. So let's say that protein is the building block of our bodies and we just eat this and it's lean proteins. So then these are the other two macros. So this is fat and then this is carbohydrates. So these are the two that gives your body energy. This gives you the ability to not have fatigue. It gives you energy to continue. You cannot rely on protein in order to have energy. Yes, this can convert to a little bit of sugar, but it is an emergency process. That is not the ideal. If you if you reduce the carbohydrates, then you need the protein to be paired with fat for energy. If you remove this, you obviously need to add more of this, more fat. And what I see is many people do not add more fat. And so they then have less energy and it takes a lot of calories to just eat protein. And what I see a lot in our practice is if you're not adding extra fat, you're also eating less calories. And so again, you end up undereating. These are our two energy sources. If you don't add to this more of this, you will not feel well. Now, there's a lot of people that cannot digest fat. So I understand if you try to eat a lot of fat, yours you don't feel good, you feel nauseous, maybe you had your gallbladder removed, maybe you have digestive imbalances and so you cannot tolerate a lot of fat. I would focus on that and see how can I fix that so you can tolerate more fat and so digestive enzymes, bile salts, bile acids, eating smaller meals throughout the day with a little bit more fat so that your digestive system gets a little bit of break without a bunch of fat all at once. All of these things can help, but the goal should be, remember the standard deviation. If you're in the bell curve, if most people can eventually learn to tolerate higher fat, meaning like a ribeye plus a tablespoon of fat, if most people can eat a ribeye and have no real issues long term, then why are you not able to eat that ribeye? And if you can't, you have to see why you're falling on the outer edges.
The fourth one, I'm going to just combine several things. Hey guys, just a really quick break. Nutrition with Judy's private practice is now called Empower Functional Health. I started as a nutritional therapist, but we have become much more all-encompassing. At Empower Functional Health, we do functional medicine, chronic illness, autoimmune, gut health, environmental illness such as CIRS, mold illness, Lyme. Regardless of all these names, the goal for us is always to get you root cause healing answers. And of course, carnivore, the all-meat elimination diet is always on the table. Food, the right food is always medicine. We offer functional tests, prescription meds, and really everything to get you closer to root cause where you can just eat the meats you enjoy and live the life that you are meant to symptom-free. The goal is to get off meds, supplements, and everything else that your body no longer needs support in. Our practice, whether it's Nutrition with Judy, sharing podcasts, and free content, or our private practice, Empower Functional Health, our goal is to support you guys in the barbell theory. We give a lot of free content, our evidence-based research. We don't use Substack. We give all our stuff away for free. We and we interview with the best and make it super tactical. So you have clinical pearls that you could walk away with and try in your own healing journey. And then we work with some people and a smaller subset one-on-one to provide that level of personalized care. And as we heal these people that are chronically ill, we find these clinical pearls and golden nuggets that we can share then more publicly so that we can make wellness for all. Hopefully the content and the guides and the free stuff we give out is enough for you to heal. But if it's not, you can always come and work with us in our private practice so that you can get more personalized care. If you want to learn more, make sure to check out empowerfunctionalhealth.com. And it's goes back to mindset. But a lot of people will feel bored and then when they go out socially and then and then people are saying you're only eating meat or you know having these negative sayings to the individual and the individual is also not seeing the benefits that they thought they would on a carnivore diet, they get frustrated and sometimes the amount of our loved ones or our community sharing that what we're doing is not good. It starts planting seeds in us as natural pack animals. We want to be accepted and loved in our community, especially the community that matters to us. And if enough people are saying, "Your diet's not good." And then we are not finding the benefits of the diet, it's easy to go, "You're right. This was a mistake. I'm going to be with my community and if they're having happy hour with tortilla chips or alcohol, then I'm going to enjoy my life and eat a little bit of it too, because I'm not feeling the benefits that I also thought." I get it. I am a very social creature. Even if my social circle is small, I am very social. When I was sick, in order to be a mom that was present and to get my life back, to get off disability, I knew that it needed to take extreme measures. So I was willing to stay on the diet because I felt enough change. And yes, my healing wasn't overnight, but it was enough change in the right direction that it kept me going. And that keeping me going, just looking back after a year was a lot of change. I think look reading Atomic Habits and seeing how small changes actually make big changes in the long term is a beautiful thing to understand. If you feel restricted socially, it is hard. I get it. But that's why your why has to be big enough. When I travel and our family is going to eat stuff outside of meat, especially when we go to Italian restaurants, I will bring meat or I will eat beforehand. But if we're traveling, I will buy beef jerky and I will have canned fish and I will do the things so I can still enjoy my life but have my health with it. It always will come down to your why and if it matters enough that you have your health back to then keep going on this diet. Now, I know again it goes back to expectations. If you're not healing enough, you almost feel like what is the point of eating this way that's so restrictive that you can't eat all the other colors in the diet, but you're not even feeling well. But again, if you were to measure and scale your symptoms and if you are improving, then it is a win. Imagine one day that you can travel and be able to eat or dabble in little things and you get to enjoy your life. That's where I would want you to be. And if right now you're restricted because you have so much joint pain or you could barely walk and this diet is going to afford you to possibly feel better, then why wouldn't we try it to the best of our abilities? And so that's where I think it's really important to also, you know, protect your eyes and ears. I say this all the time because it affects your heart. What you allow in will absolutely keep playing even if you're unaware of it. In my next book, I talk about how we have 60,000 thoughts in a day. And if you think about random thoughts, there's even more. There's hundreds of thousands of thoughts. But if we have 60,000 thoughts, and we obviously are not aware of all 60,000. But you can see how if we had a thought or a seed planted, then it will affect us in other ways for the rest of the day. And then multiply that by days and weeks and months. And you could see how the way that we are thinking and and the way that we are viewing this diet will absolutely impact not only our healing but our ability to stay on it consistently. In terms of the food boredom, I think that's why the goal of a carnivore diet should be a rainbow of meats where you can eat chicken, pork, bacon, sausage. You could buy sausage from the store that's not refrigerated. Yes, I know pepperoni in a plastic bag is not ideal, but you get what I'm saying. It's you so you feel less restriction and you have more variety. If you want to eat pork rinds that are not the most ideal, then you can tolerate it because it allows you to stay more consistent and it allows you to have flexibility so you don't feel like you're being restricted. If you are only eating the same cut every single day, yeah, that's going to get boring. And I know many of our clients have to do that for medical reasons, but long term, the goal should be that we move out of that. The goal is not to stay rigid in one meat because I don't also consider that healing. That is also a band-aid long term. Again, you should be able to fit in that bell curve. And long term, you should be able to eat a variety of meats or what I call the rainbow of meats. Eggs, maybe not dairy, but if you can tolerate dairy, that's wonderful, too. but beef and all the other meats and fish and shellfish and if you could tolerate all of that I call that a win. But that should be your goal. And when you have to only eat a certain cut of meat or a certain style of meat initially, then focus on that as your medical protocol. This is your healing protocol. I am eating this way to get better and to get my life back. And that is more empowering than to say, I only get to eat beef. I only get to eat boring beef all day long and that's all I eat. The words we use matter. And again, if we can shift why we're doing this to a more empowering approach, it will have leaps and bounds on those 60,000 thoughts a day.
The fifth one is about electrolytes and hormones. I think they kind of all go together, but there's always a subset that says on a carnivore diet, for some reason, I cannot balance my electrolytes. I think that if we go back to the bell curve and you fall on the outer edges, then that is a clue that there is something more underlying going on. For our practice, if you test your antidiuretic hormone, which regulates your minerals and your electrolytes, it is more telling when you are on a low carb diet. It is true that when you're on a low carb diet, your body retains less water. So when you retain less water, if your antidiuretic hormone or your ADH is disregulated, you will finally notice it when you have less water in your system. When you eat carbs, you may not notice the electrolyte imbalance, but that does not mean that the ADH is not imbalanced. It is just hidden or bandaged or masked with the excess water in your system. So, if you are one of the people that cannot regulate your electrolytes or minerals on a carnivore or low carb keto diet long term, I would highly test your antidiuretic hormone. And then it's a whole other conversation of why that marker is imbalanced. But that is giving you one extra clue of what is going on in your health that is causing symptoms. A carnivore diet for so many people, they have no electrolyte issues long term. So if you fall on the outer edges, there is a reason for that and use that as a clue to pursue what is going on rather than just saying therefore this diet doesn't work for me. And the hormones is the same thing for many people their hormones and thyroid function improves. In fact, we have so many people in our practice where their antibodies reduce with a little bit of iodine and a a balance of meats and supporting their gut and all of the other stuff that we do in our practice. But if you undereat, you will stall. And then if you have a lot of toxins such as mold, Lyme, and even stressors in your life, those will impact your thyroid and hormone function. But if you undereat, it will absolutely exacerbate thyroid and hormone imbalances. If you come to a carnivore diet and you're hypothyroid and then you undereat, so you also I don't think this card's worth a lot, so I'm going to break it in half, but some people are told actually to eat tons of fat. Sorry, tons of fat and then they only need half the protein. And that is not ideal either because it you end up undereating. You need even protein to produce more thyroid hormone. So you don't want to do this either. It's actually you want to eat the full amount and all of the the fat as well. I love using common sense and logically speaking, so many people suffer from hypothyroid and Hashimoto's. And if so many people are suffering that are not on a carnivore diet, maybe it's not the carnivore diet that's causing hypothyroid or Hashimoto's. Yet we have this pervasive thing about a low carb ketogenic or carnivore diet that causes hypothyroid and other sex hormone imbalances when in fact usually it is because people are undereating and undereating fat and then yes absolutely those imbalances can happen.
The sixth thing I see is heart disease fear. So it is very normal that your cholesterol is going to go up on a carnivore diet and it's because we are consuming more fat. So, and if we are consuming more fat, we also need carriers. So, let's call these the yellow ones. And these carry the energy to the rest of your body. And so, these carriers such as your LDL. And so, these are the ones that we usually measure in cholesterol and they will go up on a carnivore diet because again, we are using fat for energy and these carry the fat in your bloodstream. The standard care model or the diet heart hypothesis believes that these are the things that are causing heart disease. And so if you go to a doctor that believes these carriers cause heart disease, but you're using fat for energy that these carriers carry, then of course when you go to the doctor, they're going to say that you are risking your life because you have more of this. If you can understand and do the research of what causes heart disease and you read a lot of the books from doctors that support metabolic therapy or metabolic diet interventions for cardiovascular risk, you'll learn that these are just bystanders and they're not the culprit of heart disease. And so then you shouldn't be afraid. I know it's scary because this is not our area of expertise, but just like anything you become good at, like my kids, they became good at Pokemon stuff. If you spend the time and learn about it, you will understand that these carriers are not the issue. And I have to battle this with my father every time he goes to the doctor because the doctor will say, "You are so close to needing a statin." And then shortly after that, my dad will try to eat foods that have less cholesterol. So, he won't eat shrimp. He won't eat really fatty red cuts of meat. And I have to go through the whole conversation again with him because I know we are taught that doctors know everything. But again, if standard care has not supported us that we are willing to eat this way, then why are we listening to them with their recommendations of taking a statin or other medication? Now, if you are worried because there are certain situations, maybe you have a history of high cholesterol in your family, I would do more research. I would even ask your doctor to look at some of the studies that go against his claim and then maybe you just come up with a different path. You take your CAC scan, you do the CINT, and then you see what real risk do you have because there's much more risk than just looking at cholesterol. But I would not fear that your cholesterol is going up solely for the reason why you're going to then change the diet. Because my friends, it is going to go up. When you consume more fat, these carriers are going to carry the fat around your body. And so when you measure blood, these markers are going to show higher.
Okay. So the last one, it's the notion that the only way we're going to heal is being super strict. I have a carnivore elimination protocol out there where this phase one is a lion diet. Basically, it's super strict ruminant meat, salt, and water only, but it's supposed to be temporary. Our goal should be to eat a rainbow of meats and to eat a variety. But if you are so strict and then you maybe left a little bit of onions on top of your steak and then you hear someone say that is the reason you're sick or you left in a little salt or you left in a little bit of pepper because of the oxalates or you left in a little bit of caffeine because of the adrenals. Again, it's that bell curve and do you think majority of the people that are in the bell curve are sick because they're having coffee or having a little bit of pepper or leaving in a little bit of onions? Do you think that's why we are sick? Because we usually are not sick because of that. Our bodies are designed to protect us. Our bodies are designed to survive us another day. That's why we have all these fail safes in our bodies. That is why when our blood is not flowing well, our blood pressure goes up because our bodies are trying to force the blood to get to the rest of the body. That is why one of the reasons why blood pressure goes up. When our blood sugar is imbalanced and insulin isn't working enough, our fail safe is cortisol comes in to save the day and force the blood sugar to go down. There are so many fail safes in our body because our body knows that the goal is to survive another day. So roles that maybe the cortisol or our endocrine system, our hormonal system is not really trying to balance our blood sugar, but it will do that in emergency situations which our modern society is making it an emergency every day. And so if we know that it is not because of one small thing we keep in. It is not because we are not perfect that we are not healing. And we need to get rid of that notion. Our bodies are so smart. And maybe you do have a sensitivity to onions, but it is not the reason why you're still sick. You can follow the most perfect diet. And if you are still in an environment that is making you unwell, if you're in a toxic relationship that is making you release cortisol non-stop because you're in this stress state of fight or flight, those situations itself, no matter how perfect your diet is, can still make you sick. Pretend that this is a fish tank. And so if you imagine that there are fish in here and I feed this fish as much perfect food as I can, but the fish tank is dirty. There's algae that's not conducive to the fish and there's all this other gunk in here. Do you think the fish will survive just by eating good fish food? Even if I give it the most organic, natural, raw, live, wild fish food, will that fish survive in a dirty fish tank? The environment matters. Imagine that these are all little fish in here, too. Will the fish survive in such a tight, compacted area? That's why even your mental health matters in healing. If you're in a home where you're fighting with your spouse or your children nonstop, that is not conducive to healing. So, it is not that you left in an onion or that you left in a little bit of black pepper or that you left in a little bit of something that is making you unwell. They can add to your unwellness, but it is not the reason that you're sick. And so, I would rather you try some type of carnivore and reduce your carbs. And as you see a little bit of healing, then you can get stricter if you want to if the the needle is not moving enough. Think of healing in a grade scale. So A is like you're in perfect health. And then F is you are in bed all day long, whether it's depression or chronic illness that's causing you not to move. If you are eating a carnivore diet and let's say you started at a D and now you're slowly moving to a C minus, that is still healing. Yes, it's not internet healing, but it is still healing. And then if you then can try to move to a C and maybe now you're used to not having a lot of sugar. So maybe you started with keto treats, but now you're not eating sugar. And so maybe you're like, now I want to go a little bit stricter to see how can I budge to go to a B. And that's how you can do it rather than saying at an F, I need to go just meat, salt, and water to see how much I can heal. For some people, they need to do that. They need to go all in. But for many people, there's this mindset of if I'm not perfect enough, that's why I'm not healing. So, the onus is on me. And I can tell you from the fish tank, it is not about you and being strict. I can feed again or I could feed our clients as many perfect foods, but if the environment, whether it's mold and other toxins or it's the mindset, the relationships around you, the stress of your work, the stress of your school, the stress of your environment in a mental capacity is not good. Those things will also impact your ability to heal. So when people say it is just the diet and healing, I hope that it makes you take off your perfectionist hat because it is not perfection that equals healing. And we have clients that are super perfectionist and have done the diet in the most strictest perfectest way and they still needed more healing. So I hope that gives you some assurance that it is not about perfection. And I see it often that if people are not perfect, then they just say this diet is not meant to be. Maybe you're just moving slower up the scale. Maybe you're going from an F minus to an F to an F+. And it just takes time. And that's why again it's really important to track your progress from the beginning. If I can just share a moment in society, we tend to look at others and we say that person's an influencer. That person must know because they're decorated with all the letters behind their names. If we stripped everyone from everything, we are all humans and we are all individuals and we are all equally important. And so if somebody says because they have a platform or they have the letters behind their names that WXY worked but Z didn't, that does not mean that it's going to work the same way for you. Sure, you can try it. You can get ideas, but just know that you are on your own journey. Your body is on its own journey and your body wants to just save you. And so if you can give the peace and solace to your body that you are trying to help it heal, that is so much more better than quivering and worrying about the cholesterol levels causing heart disease, worrying if this diet is the right way, worrying if that your hormones and thyroids are going to tank on this. If you decide to go in, go all in. As I write in my next book, I say there is no option B. So try your best. Go all in. Protect your eyes and ears and know that you're doing this medically for a while. Write down all your symptoms and figure out what are you trying to heal. And then if you see progress, stick to it. And at a certain point, if it's not working enough, think about the fish tank. Is there other stuff that's plaguing you from getting better and over time, if you don't want to eat strict carnivore, if you want to add a plant or two, that is totally okay. Just figure out what you want. But don't get fear-mongered or hyped into this world of this diet doesn't work or this diet is bad for you because meat is the most nutrient-dense food and it's the most bioavailable nutrients. But remember, as influencers, we want eyeballs. We want people to look at our content to do well. And so sometimes the more salacious, the more fear-mongering things do better. So, I hope that this gives you some thoughts into why maybe people are leaving the diet or maybe stopping a diet or maybe they were just never carnivore at all, but they jumped onto it because it was popular and now that it's not as popular, maybe they're like, "It's time to move on and move on to whatever the next diet is." And if the next diet is a rape diet, I can tell you I went through this whole cycle six years ago and I have a rape article that talks about that too. If I can leave you with anything, just focus on your own fish tank. Make sure that you in your fish tank, the environment is good, the people in your life are good, you're protecting your eyes and ears, and that you eat as much of the rainbow of meats as you can when you're ready to eat that way. And then if you want to eat a plant or two, if that will allow you to stay more consistent eating meat-based, then so be it. But as long as your symptoms stay the same as when you are just eating meat. Okay, guys. Make sure to eat a lot of meat. Take care of your bodies because it is the only place you have to live. I will talk to you later. Bye guys.
