So, what has changed?

Okay. So he before he used to be very uh shy and um closed up but now he is more opened up. So it was the opposite.

Wow. Okay. Anybody else?

My mindset.

Your mindset has changed.

Okay. Yes. Oh, this will come.

She's a different person.

Ever since she got baptized, she's not the she used to be before.

Okay. Very good. Anybody else?

The way of I can easily do the difference between what I can what I'm supposed to do and what I'm not supposed to do.

Okay, very good. We'll come to other points. Um, hey, what did you

Become the person God wanted you to become?

Very good. How I hold myself, how I me, how I think.

So you become a new identity from the moment you renounce your old life. Now the thing that we have said

I want us to look at it very well.

Okay. Um are they physical spirit? Like if I now since I received Christ I've not grown taller.

Or can somebody say that your physicality also can change? Who agrees?

Wow.

Physit. How much? And then we see Okay, very good. Now let's start from here. That's

What doesn't change when you come to Christ.

What does everybody? Your family doesn't change. What else?

The body.

Your body doesn't change.

Yeah. like this for the show. But you know what? Let's do this very quick.

Very fast.

Um, come.

Let's clap. Let's clap. So has given her life to Christ.

As soon as she gives her life to Christ,

The Bible says

That she's a new creation.

Do you agree? It's not something that happens tomorrow. Now she gives her life to Christ. Joel is a new person.

So what hasn't changed?

It's not changed.

Her name doesn't change.

Yeah. So does her body change?

No.

Okay. Does her house change?

Her family doesn't change.

So right now, where is the change?

Okay. Hallelujah. So whenever somebody gives their life to Christ,

You just have to understand Something has changed.

Are we are we agreeing on that?

But what has changed?

We might not see it. So it is the spirit man that has changed. I agree. And so you change to become who?

Wow. Like Christ.

Anybody else?

You know what? Today if you answer

Okay.

Okay. So, Yes, she say that you become like Christ.

But are you do you before I come to you do you become like now we are talking about immediate thing.

Does she start to speak like Christ immediately?

Okay. Very good. So we come back. steps. For example, if you meant to be a pastor and you people will start seeing the change in the way you talk. You start I mean you develop characters. That wasn't good. Amen. Let's clap for Elah. So you change to become like Christ. Elisha said that with time certain things begin to change. Anybody else? Think well

The Bible the verse is saying that if anyone is in Christ he becomes a new creation.

Can you can you repeat like the question again please?

I should repeat that.

So the question is what do you change to become? What changes? You change to become what? To become what?

Very good. A better version of yourself.

Very good. You know what I would say?

Okay.

Your destination changes.

Your destiny. Yeah. Your destiny changes.

Okay. All of these points are correct. What I want to add and what I want to bring your mind to now your life changes.

Your life in general changes. Do you agree? Yes. But life is is in stages. But the moment you receive Jesus Christ, we have spirit, soul, and body. the spirit, the soul and the body.

The moment you give your life to Christ,

Your body is the same.

That's why I said I don't when you give your life to Christ, I don't become taller. My even though I want to be taller, my heart will remain the same. Amen.

Your soul doesn't change yet,

But your spirit has changed.

Amen.

Amen.

And so now your spirit becomes like the spirit of Christ.

And so the Bible says that now you are righteous.

Okay? Now you are rich.

Now you are no more. Let's say amen for that.

Now you are no more the old Alex.

Hallelujah.

Now this is where a lot of Christians struggle.

We don't know that we have changed.

And if you don't know that you have changed, the devil will take a very big advantage of you.

Amen.

Let me give you an example. Come.

This is your wallet.

Imagine I have 10,000.

Okay.

This is This is for This is the wallet of um Dave.

There's 10,000.

And I'm coming you now. I see the wallet.

But the wallet is for him.

And I say Dave,

Is it is it for you?

No, no, no. You have to act like you don't know.

I take the wallet and I run away. What's the issue here? The the wallet is not for me, but I took it anyway.

Why? He couldn't identify.

So, ladies and um whatever you don't know

Can be taken away from you. If you don't know who you are or if you don't have an understanding of who you are, now I'm taking away what belongs to him. The 10,000 is coming to the devil because the the the one who owns it doesn't have an idea that it belongs to him. Church, listen.

There are a lot of things that we have lost and we continue losing because we don't know that these things are for us. Are you getting my point? And so whatever you don't have, this is why I want us to take our time and understand our identity.

If you don't know that you are rich, The devil will take your money away from you. If you don't know that you are righteous,

You will lose your righteousness.

Whatever you don't know,

The devil can take away from you.

Amen.

Amen.

Oh, amen.

Shout the better. Amen.

Amen.

Why take my daughter?

Why are you ready?

Do you do you see I know that that is my daughter.

And so if I'm if I'm not sure who it is, my approach is different. When you know something is yours and that thing is leaving you, your approach is different. If it was another child, I will probably just

But if I know it's my daughter

And you are taking her away. I see even my daughter because I know it is mine. Church, we have to get to the level where we know what is ours and we know who we are. If you reach this level in life, there is nothing that the enemy can take away from you. Can I get a big Amen?

Now, let's look at some of the misconceptions of identity. What are some of the misconceptions of identity? Last week we looked at some don't don't oh don't do that. What are some of the misconceptions of our identity in class?

Okay.

We don't believe what are some of the misconceptions of misconception. Some people think that identity means personality. But that is wrong. Your identity is not your personality. So thinking that your identity is your personality is a misconception. Identity is you are personality is you are shy. Um you are not confident. You are this this is personality.

And so if I ask you um that who are you and you begin to describe your character, your nature or your personality That is a misconception.

Is it Is it clear? Is it clear? Is it clear?

Okay. So, what are some of the misconceptions? Educate your not your identity.

Some people think that their gift is their identity. Wow. I want to try to

Oh, you know how to put your jacket. So Maria said that anybody else thinking that your gift is your identity can be a misconception. You are very good in singing. You are very good in dancing. You are very good in running. The day you lose your voice,

You'll be tempted to think that you Are you getting it?

So the day that um Maria loses the the gift that we are known or we know her of she might be tempted to think oh life is ended. I'm nobody anymore. Why? Because she has the misconception that my gift is my identity. A very good somebody said not money. People have the identity based on the money they have.

And so if you look at your bank account and your bank account is per you might be tempted to think that life is normal. life is not life anymore.

Titles.

And so the moment uh the moment I lose my title, I might be tempted to think, you know what, I take my life and so career for example, somebody might lose their job or somebody doesn't grow in their job and they give up on life. Because the career is not working, money is not coming. But can we agree that your identity goes beyond these things? Can I get an amen? She's making a good point. I hope you're listening. She's saying that people are having thisation where they put their identity in Christ whereby they they say that their identity is Christlike. Every single time you talk to them is like shalom or amen everything. It's like they don't have a personality of themselves forgetting that God gave everybody a different personality. But a lot of people lose themselves in I am a Christian. So they start becoming We are getting point

Because that we might be tempted to like me as a pastor I can say praise the Lord very hallelujah but her point There's also the other side where me as a pastor I have a personality

Like I'm friendly.

Am I friendly or not?

Yes. I'm this. I'm this. I'm that. And so her point, if I'm correct, What's Oh,

This is my food. You haven't seen her online. Hello. See what Holy Ghost. I don't think that's the right Consumer price index. Mtopike. Solo identity. Too much in this. Amen.

Praise the Lord.

Sorry about that. Something had to something but everything is fine.

Okay. All right. So, what were we

And identity?

Now, what what what do you think? Does anybody have a response for that?

So, she says that we focus on identity,

But there's a part of personality

And so um we shouldn't look too much at the fact that I'm a Christian. I'm a Christian. But we also think about the fact that there is Christianity aspect of our life.

I have a respons.

So she's saying that your personality can Your identity doesn't change. It stays the way it is. So for example, she says that Abraham his name was changed but he stays the same person. So you still But you still being you are in Christ.

Okay. Very good. Now the thing that is if if you keep your identity as a Christian, what happens to your personality? Because she's talking about there's a separation between identity and personality. If you know yourself and who you are in Christ, what then becomes the connection with the personality? Is there a connection?

Yeah. Are you getting my point? personality. etc. Awesome.

Okay.

All right. For example, say you're somebody that is shy. When you come to Christ, you might still be shy, but you will still have this kind of confidence to speak. So you still you are because your personality, but in a way it will be refined. So it will be better.

Very good. So basically what she's saying is that for example like your personality everybody has a personality and God gave everybody a personality but we have used those things maybe the wrong way and for example I ear that I to be very loud and very outgoing in the world. And I made a vow that I would stay this loud and crazy person but in Christ. So that makes me a youth that is very energetic and very loud because I vow to stay the same person but I adapt it into my life of today. So then the point of your identity or your personality might not necessarily change like your identity. So she is saying that we need to understand that our personality was a lot of people just because they're afraid of sinning like make it seem like laughing too much or being loud is a sin whereby gality But we make it seem like as soon as we come in Christ, we have to be serious and church church. So we lose ourselves in a way.

Amen. What we need to come in Christ

We not you're not meant to be a spiritual entity or whatever. But the core message here that when you come in Christ,

You are not the same person. It's not the same. This is what the Bible is saying. So in the kingdom of heaven

Or in the kingdom of the enemy now when I came to Belgium now I'm no more Ghanian Belgian

Something has changed Now, if I don't say that I'm probably not on my record, something has changed. There are certain things in Belgra that I can be able to access. That with a Ghanian identity, I wouldn't be able to access. The core message is if anyone comes into Christ there is something that has changed. The point we want to build on in a few weeks is your understanding of what has changed. The revelation of what has changed and your ability to walk in that change. The moment I married my wife, something changed.

What changed? You became a husband.

You became a husband. So basically your status change. You go from being a single man to a married man.

All right. So my title my now I'm no more single. I'm a husband.

But do you know that you can have the title of a husband and not live like a husband? And so if anyone is in Christ that mean that I can on paper on documents I'm not single if I'm taking I won't write I'll write mine but I might not be living as a husband. So you can have the identity that Christ has given you. One, you might not even know it. Now, two, I know, you don't need to tell me that I'm a husband. I know it.

But the question is, am I living like a husband? Hallelujah.

Hallelujah.

Amen. A big amen.

Amen.

Everything is fine. Everything is great.

Holy Ghost fire.

Hallelujah. So the moment I make the decision to become a husband. That very moment there was a change. But is my life, my work, my actions, my thoughts, is it reflecting somebody who is a husband? And so when you read Bible, when you read the scripture, one of the key things Bible says that that he died for our sins so that we can live for him. And so, so if anyone comes into Christ,

You are no more a sinner.

Amen.

Amen. If anyone is in Christ, you are no more a sinner.

You are the righteousness of God.

Oh, can I get an amen?

Put your hands together. But the question is,

Do you believe this church?

If anyone is in Christ,

So you're not a sinner anymore.

Do you believe this?

Are you sure?

Do you So what's the issue here?

Remember the example I gave as a husband.

And so you are not Casc we're not doing the will of God and that is why we

Very good Hallelujah. Yeah. So,

So he say that we don't believe or we don't obey whatever.

Listen, let me ask this question.

Who who knows their age? Everybody.

Everybody knows their age.

How did you know your age? Please follow this example very well. May how did you know your age?

Your mother told you.

Your mother.

Okay. Who who has been able to confirm how old they are? to confirm birth certificates.

Certificate certificate don't know.

The hospital.

But when they were um writing it were you

Were you aware? You are just

Now listen church. Church,

Nobody has been very very certain that whatever they say about your age is true because you are not conscious. But if you are 30, every year you add one year

To your years and it started because Somebody said that you were born on Sunday 20 days of that of that 1990 days and you have accepted it. You have believed it and you have lived with it for 30 years. So every year you add more years to something that you have not confirmed.

Are we together?

And so You got it probably from your mom, from a certificate. But this is something about you and you've grown with it. Now your identity. Your identity. Where does your identity come from? How do you even know our identity?

Your identity exists. So you got to know your best maybe from your mom from birth certificate from the hospital or whatsoever. But how what is the foundation of your identity?

The word of God. Okay. The word of God tells you something that you've not been able to confirm. But just as you believe that your date of birth is your date of birth, what the Bible says, what we do is we accept it, we believe it, and we walk by it. Now, you don't have to confirm it. Just like you were not aware when your date of birth was given. And so the Bible says that Christ became poor.

So poor so that Abel might become rich.

And so this is what the Bible says about it. Your responsibility is just as you believe your mom. And every year you add to what your mom said couple of years ago. The Bible says that you are rich. You believe it. You accept it and you walk by it. Amen. accept why you are poor. Sorry. Why you are begging? This is why you are living in sin because you are believing the doctor. You are believing a birth certificate. You are believing what mom or dad says. But what Jesus says, you are not belie. Because explain to me why you would say that your father is God and he's the owner of the world and you are.

Hallelujah.

Amen.

Oh, praise the Lord.

Hallelujah. And so people of God, what we want to achieve is to first gain the revelation of who I am and now accept that revelation.

I believe it. So if um come imagine I was born on 15th November this da that Imagine no I don't have confirmation but I will challenge you. I will challenge you. So if you know if you believe something unless you don't believe it. If you believe that you are rich and you look at your bank account and it doesn't reflect riches. You challenge it. Oh, praise the Lord. Hallelujah.

Are you getting my point?

Because you are a woman

And I say you are a man. Did you see the eye again?

Yes.

Because she's having an assurance that she's not. So no matter how much now the devil's to the devil's biggest weapon against you is to use what you don't know about yourself. So church, you have to be able to build that level of revelation and believe in whatever God has said about you. This is how your personality or your identity begins to have meaning in your life. Amen. Michael understand.

Who am I in Christ? The Bible describes us as children of God. John 1:12. But to all who died. But to all who did receive him, who believe in his name, he gave them the right to become the children of God. So if you you you come into Christ,

The moment you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal savior, listen this thing, you have to get it very well. Bible says that now you become a child of God. So I'm still uh the son of my father but primarily

I am first a child of God.

Oh, can I get an amen?

Amen. So if you're a child now, do you know um um my little girl

When she wants to come uh when she wants something,

She she wants to get it,

She doesn't care

Because she I believe that she's tuned in a way that I'm the child here and so whatever I want I get it from my father. When you know or you understand that you are a child of God, you treat God as a father and you see yourself as a son or as a daughter. When you look at the prodigal son, the story of prodigal son Yeah, everything. Please put your hands together for the Lord.

15 minutes.

So if you see yourself as the prodigal son in Luke chapter 15, how many people do we have in the prodal as main characters? Okay. The prodigal son,

The brother and the father.

And the father.

Who who who was the main character?

The prodal son.

But do you know that we can learn also something from the what we learned from the elderly son?

The elderly son already had possession because First the prodical one has taken his array. But then he was still jealous of what his brother has come forgetting that he already owns whatever it is. But he was fighting his father that why is he giving like why is he taking that like the little brother has come to take the attention of his daddy and whatever is there but then everything there was for him. He didn't realize that everything there. He was focused on his brother's coming.

She talked too long. because when he said his father didn't throw a party for him, why is his father throwing a party for his brother? But then he had everything that was it. So his father didn't need to throw him a party. his mother for calling the party.

Yeah. Amen. Amen. So we'll come to this here. This is where this is where I want to come to. But what you know what the prodigal son did was not right. He takes his father's he takes the possession or his inher inheritance from his father and then he walks away. But what good can we learn from the prodigal son here before he goes away?

Thank you. He asked what belonged to him. And his father didn't deny him what belonged to him. If you know who you are, you are confident in the approach and you are able to get because you know what actually is yours by the fact that he's a child. He had inheritance with his father. So he he could go to his father and then ask, "Listen church, when you go to God,

There is a lot with God.

The problem with Christians now is we don't see God as a father. If you be honest and if you be sincere, we really don't see him as a father. We see him as a creator. This is why when we are even praying, we don't pray as if we are talking to a father. We pray as if we are talking to a God. Am I right? If God is like a father, it changes your approach to him. It changes how you relate to him. This is why um God has a lot. But when you look at the story of Peter, when Peter was walking, Jesus was walking on the water. There were a lot of disciples. Now Jesus walks on the water and everybody sees him and they They are they were they were they were afraid. They were scared. But it was only Peter

Who says Jesus if it is you let me come. Now everybody could have walked on the water but only Peter did. Are you getting my point? And so Jesus the miracle was available to everybody but only Peter was able to place a demand because I believe that Peter knew that if I ask him he will give me that opportunity to come. Let me give this scenario. I don't have a lot of money but I'll give this. This is 20. Okay. This is 20.

Everybody look here.

Wait. Look at the exam. Everybody lift your lift your heads. This is 20.

This 20 is available to everybody. I want it. I want The point is where you the money was available to all of us but only one person took it. Put your hands together. When we are in the in the kingdom of God, there are a lot of availability. Only a few people have been able to understand our position so well that we are able to get what we deserve and what God has made available unto us. Now do you think God has only 20? Now do you think that God has an issue giving you £100? Do you really think that God has an issue giving you a job?

There's no problem. But last time I made this comment, when takes chips, she throws it away.

And so me chips is like three or three, but because of what I've seen what she does with chips. She would mess the whole house. So, I don't have an issue giving the chips. But I know what she's going to do if I give it to her. And so, as a father, I won't give it. Not because I cannot give it but because of what will happen when I give the chief.

Are we together?

There are a lot of things that we can get but we have not reached a certain level in our understanding in our behavior in our compartment that God is not confident to give us certain things. There are certain parts of our Christian journey that are missing. The revelation is not there. And even when it comes to revelation today, I was listening to a pastor and he says that anything that is precious is deep is hidden. There's nothing that is very p precious that you will see like uh You know, I have worked I'll finish in fact. I've worked in um Belgium for I think I've lived there for about 17 years. But do you know that for 17 years? I have never seen 10,000 on the ground. Never. If you see one, you can tell me. But for 17 years, I've never seen 10,000. But there's a lot of millions of euros on the ground available. Any money that is precious that is valuable, is hidden. So even if you go to somebody's house, you never see 1 million lying around because whatever is hidden, whatever is precious about you, especially your identity is hidden. And you have to make an effort to find it before you can be able to walk in it. Hallelujah.

And so the challenge for a lot of Christians and where we will be getting into is being able to search, go deeper like you try all the possible means to know who you are. Many of us are making um we are trying different things. We are doing different kinds of lifestyles here and there.

But we are just going around the circle. If you really want to know who you are, you have to go and you'll find it. Amen.

Amen.

Or amen. It's okay.

Okay. All right. Uh let's close our eyes. I want us to pray. If you don't mind, we will pray for him. Um I want us to do a prayer. um um for um one of our fathers you know I want us to speak against any evil spirit that is okay you let's stand on let's come close because it's a serious you come and for whatever we pray about is I wanted to pray for the father of Pray that the Lord will touch him right now. Whatever Hello. Amen. Sometimes Bible says that we should pray for one another. So whenever there's always praying that the enemy would take his hand off of a few minutes we will see a big change. That's I love you. Fore! Foreign! Foreign! Let's get this ready. Now we are praying and we are we are praying and we are hitting the target. We are praying against any spirit of death. We rebuke it. We come against it. You will not die.

You will live

In the name of Jesus. I want every one of us. Let's give our voice. We call him out. God. Now we are praying the last prayer. We are praying for any of them to know who they are. to stand as children of God to demonstrate the power of God. Papa speech. Father, I pray in the name of Jesus against any of

Jesus. Ites in the name of Jesus.

God will sustain.

Amen. Will not come.

Amen.

Amen. Mr. Why the trick?
