Welcome. We're talking about the road from 1 million to 10 million net worth. It's a five-part series. This is part three. I'm going to break down what I think are the things that you must know that almost nobody's talking about. Basically, nobody is talking about what you're about to learn.
Now, this is a framework concept. There's really five levels to your net worth. I've been in these different ones. There's no net worth, 0 to 100,000. There's what I call slow net worth, that's 100K to 1 million. Most people get stuck there for their entire life. There's what I call show, where you finally have something to show for all your hard work in life. That's this level, 1 to 10 million. And then you have what I call go, that is when you go from 10 million to 100 million. Now you're going places almost no human's ever been. And then finally, part five, Bravo. So, no, slow, show, go, Bravo. And Bravo is when you exceed $100 million net worth in the ultra-high net worth level.
So I want to talk about this stage, the 1 to 10 million. Um, I've been in these different stages, and I will tell you that, um, I could have gone through them much quicker had a video like this existed. I could have moved through the stages. Now, disclaimer, not everybody's going to exceed 10 to 100 million or 100 million plus. But nobody knows who actually could exceed it if they were instructed, trained, and taught. And that's what I want to do here. It's a completely free series.
So the, the basic framework to go from 1 to 10 million is pretty simple. The basic framework is simple. There's a man, his name is Will Durant. I got a lot of books here. I collect books. Some people say he's the wisest man of the last 500 years. And Will Durant said, "The men who manage men, manage the men who can only manage things. But the men who manage money, manage all." So he was basically delineating. Want to pull at surprise wrote the story of civilization. I saw Elon Musk recently endorse Will Durant's books. When it came to money, Will Durant's accumulated wisdom of the centuries was that the men who manage men, manage the men who can manage things. And the men who manage money, manage all.
So this stage three, you, you must go. This is the first principle. We're going to go through a series of principles. The first principle is you must know how to manage other humans. So to get from 100K to 1 million, you just have to know how to manage a thing. Maybe you know how to build an online marketing funnel. Maybe you know how to do email marketing. Those are things. Those are pieces of software. Those are very specific tactical skills. But it's hard to get past a million net worth if you only know how to manage things. The skill must grow to where you can manage people. And so on the path, I remember this path. When I exceeded a million, what took me from 1 to 10 million, what Will Durant was trying to say is you must become a leader of men, a leader of men. And unfortunately, the school system that you've gone through has not equipped you. You are, well, ill-equipped in any country you live in. I'm here in Beverly Hills. I have a big farm and I live in Europe. I'm headed to Brazil. Every place I go in the world, I find people ill-equipped on the skills of leadership.
And so if you're in this stage, if you're in at worth a mill or a two, this series, part three, is for you. What must a man do? And, and when I say man, I'm speaking to the man, even though women will be watching this, simply because I'm a man, it's easier for me to explain the male experience, but this is applicable to all. So, are you a leader of men? The world is cruel to shy, overly introverted men. Why? Because the world's cruel to men who can't make money. And you, unless the people's skills rise, you will be stuck in that slow net worth anywhere from 100,000 to a million. And let's face it, in most countries of the world, you can't retire on 100K to 1 million. But that's why I call it the slow part. No net worth, slow net worth, show. This is the net worth you will begin to have something to show for. When my net worth exceeded 1 to 10 million, all of a sudden, people start to notice. What took me there was managing groups of people.
Now, one of the things you'll see, see throughout this entire system, this entire five-part series, is what I call the multipliers of wealth. And so there's really six multipliers of wealth that take you through this journey. And these, when I say multiplier, I mean you put a little bit of effort in and you make a lot of money out. You will not be able to hard work, quote unquote, yourself into a 10 million or beyond net worth. Because when your net worth was 1 million, you were probably working all day long. You didn't, to 10x your net worth, you couldn't find 10x the hours in a day.
So my mom, I was born to a single mom. My dad was in prison in Long Beach, Terminal Island. And my mom was a hardworking woman, had to have multiple jobs just to put food on the table. So unfortunately, this series didn't exist for her to realize only when she began to use the multipliers of wealth would she be able to grow on this road. And so the one that's applicable to you of the six levers that I'll be talking on is labor, humans, leadership, people management, staff. On the road from $1 to $10 million, will be directly related to your ability to delegate, hire, promote, and fire. Without those skills, um, I'm betting against you. If you can put this one of the six multipliers of wealth into practice, you're going to speed through this. You're going to speed through this.
Now, you might say, but Ty, what about in the world of AI? And what about in the world of this? Well, look, I've had companies that were just me. In fact, when I first started out building my first online business in 2001, it was essentially me. And I got to from zero net worth to 100K. It took me 9 months to have about 100K of auto-recurring income in my pocket. I had built a lead gen system for a wealth management company. I started out selling life insurance, progressed up into doing wealth management, annuities, securities, and so on. But the hard part was generating leads. So by getting good at managing things, AKA funnels, Google Ads, I was able to go from 0 to 100K. That's what I told you. What takes you up to a million is being good at skills and things. But then you start to get stuck.
And so what happened was I learned I had to delegate, hire, fire, promote, and train. I had to delegate. In order to do that, I had to hire, which means sometimes you got to fire, which means sometimes you have to train, which means sometimes you have to promote. You will not create real net worth for yourself, real wealth on your own. Name somebody who did it. I can name to you the most profitable business that created the most wealth with the least amount of humans. It's WhatsApp. WhatsApp was sold. Founders sold it to Mark Zuckerberg. And they had about 35 people working for them. Sold for about 20 billion. But that's a team. And have the two WhatsApp founders said, "Oh, we're just going to code it all ourselves." There's 0% chance they would have been able to build WhatsApp and sell it.
So I'm not saying you have to be able to manage the largest company. I've had, uh, did over 700 million in one year. I own multiple brands, two publicly traded companies. I had 8,500 people reporting to me. It's a fairly large group of people. I had to learn leadership skill. I had over 60 people in my C-suite. Okay, it was a global company. But I've also had small 10, 20, 30, 50 people company. On the path to 1 to 10 million net worth, you're going to have to, I, I think in, in military terms. So I think of teams that can be two people, like a sniper team. I think a little bit bigger, which is a squad, about eight people with one or two leaders. Then you can get to kind of a platoon size, about 25 people. And then I call it, you can call it a military, you know, a battalion, a regiment. I call it a tribe, that's about 150 people. That's based on Robin Dunbar, the famous anthropologist's work, that the human brain is built. If you study our processes, our MPFC, the medium prefrontal cortex, how many relationships we can handle, it's approximately 150. It's called Dunbar's number. So, and then you can assemble multiple tribes into an army. And like I said, I've had over 8,000 people reporting to me in my companies. And I'll tell you, you don't have to get that big. There's plenty of companies in the modern world that are only going to have to get to like WhatsApp, a platoon size of 25 people. And in fact, if your net worth goal is just 3 to 5 million, you might be able to do it with a squad, eight people. But it won't be you. And the less people you have, the better you better be good, or I should say, even be excellent at hiring, firing, training, delegating, promoting. You can't just fire the losers. You have to also promote the winners. You're going to have to know the comp structure. How do you pay people?
I was talking to one of my Chief Marketing Officers, and we're hiring, we're scaling one of my businesses from, we had approximately 20 people, uh, in this particular brand, and now we're at 50. We've grown to about 50 in just 60 days, and we'll grow to about 150 in the next 60 days. And on the path, one of my Chief Marketing Officers, who's pretty skilled, he was like, "Oh, we're going to pay this person hourly, this sales copywriter." I said, "What are you doing?"
"The men who manage men, manage the men who only can manage things. But the men who manage money, manage all." By the way, that becomes part four and part five. We'll talk about that. The investors are the ones who create the 10 to 100 million or 100 million to a billion. But for this series, if you're at this level, just listen to this. And let's focus. As Confucius said, "The man who chases two rabbits catches none." If you can just get this one rabbit, this one multiplier of wealth, managing people and leading people, you can zoom through this. Not in a day, not overnight, but the average person never gets through here before they die. And you can do it in a relatively short period of time if you go deep down the rabbit hole of leading people, of being able to get out of your own shyness, lack of confidence, and introversion. The world is a cruel place. The world does not reward overly shy men.
Now, to be clear, there's a great book called Good to Great. It's by Jim Collins, probably the most respected professor of modern business theory. And he did a survey, and he did statistical analysis of the companies that went from good companies to great companies, whether it be Apple, for example, or others. What he found is the leader doesn't always have to be loud, doesn't always have to be the typical charismatic leader who gets up and waves the flag, but it must be bold, courageous, and decisive. So don't think if your personality type is moderately introverted that you must change and become somebody who you are not. What I said, if you listen with precision, is that the world does not reward overly shy people, overly quiet, overly introverted. So I like to think on a 1 to 10 scale, 10 being extreme extroversion, one being extreme introversion. Um, you want to be a seven at the minimum. And if you're naturally extroverted, you maybe want to be an eight. To be clear, you can be too extroverted. Overly extroverted men, 10 out of 10 or nine out of 10, all are easily distractible. They have harder times focusing, and they're too into social life. But it is better to be a little higher up the scale than too low.
If you look at leaders now, you look at the Forbes list, the people who lead, uh, the Forbes list, the top 10, every one of them has developed themselves from introvert to public speaker, from introvert to a person who can get up and do a TV or a podcast interview, has gotten to the place where they're comfortable with confrontation and calling a man out. The 10 wealthiest people in the world is pretty much dominated by introverts who learned how to harness extroversion. Mark Zuckerberg is naturally an introvert. Jeff Bezos, these are engineers and finance people. They became extroverted in order to win. Elon Musk is a clear case of a natural introvert who realized that the men who manage men will manage the men who can only manage things. Elon says, "I slept for 3 years on the floor of the Tesla factory underneath my desk with a small mattress." He said, "It was very comfortable at the time." He was worth hundreds of millions, even billions. And he said, "I could have gone and been on the island in Tahiti drinking, you know, my ties." I think he said, "I guess that's his drink of choice." But he said, "I didn't. I wanted to lead. I wanted people to see our CEO, despite the fact that he's a billionaire, he's leading from the front. He's here on the factory floor. Before we arrive, he's already here." So there's a classic example of natural people who are engineers, scientists, who got to the forefront. And there's a tragic story. The original Tesla, the Serbian man born in the 1800s, was a true genius. Um, but the world was cruel to him. On his deathbed, I think his final words were something to his mother that the world hadn't been fair to him. And that's because no one had ever told him the world does not reward you simply because you are skilled. The world does not reward you simply because you are intelligent. The world doesn't even reward you because you're ambitious. The world rewards leaders of men. And Tesla, this man born in the 1800s, Tesla Motors is named after him, he made almost no money. He died broke. He wasn't, uh, remembered until decades after his death. But another man named Thomas Edison died almost the richest man in the world. And people say, "But Thomas Edison stole a lot of Tesla's ideas and this and that." And that, and it wasn't even an idea that proves my point. Tesla knew how to speak to people. He knew how to elaborate, elucidate, and public speak.
And so these are the rules. And so the goal of this video is not to tell you what's fair. In fact, what I'm telling you is a cruel lesson that people are born with natural weaknesses that punish them. And so your job, if you were born with one of those, is to root them out as if they were cancer. You must root out your overly shy and introverted self as if it is a cancer. One of my friends, who's a surfer, Joe, he recently showed me, he, they cut out skin cancer from many years of him surfing, a lot of sun in San Diego. He said, "Man, it was painful. Uh, they cut it out, not much anesthetic, just enough. But he said, then they would go look under a microscope. If any was still there, and they kept coming back and say, 'We got to cut deeper, and cut deeper. We got to make sure we cut every ounce of this cancer out of you.'" And that's how I feel on this subject when I speak to men who can't lead other men, and therefore, or they can't build a company, they can't build a net worth that scales from 1 to 10 million, because you'll run out of hours in a day. How will you be able to find 10 times the hours in a day? Most people at a 1 million net worth are working 12 to 16 hours a day. It's humanly impossible. Well, you got to start using the lever of people. That's a multiplier of wealth. If you can manage people, Zuckerberg has 100,000 people working for him. Jeff Bezos has 100,000. And again, I'm not just talking about the factory workers, they're important, the computer programmers. I'm talking about they have great leaders. So you must not only be able to inspire the rank and file, but you have to be able to hire, attract, and promote great people.
So there's levels to leadership. There's leadership where you can attract somebody who knows nothing about money to come work for you, and you're the sharpest person in the company. But where will the growth come from in your wealth and net worth? It won't be there. You must be a leader of men. Now, assuming I've made my point, and you see, because this very much aligns with most people's common sense meter, assuming you're bought in and you say, "Okay, Ty, I can see this 1 to 10 million net worth, this path will come from me leveraging the skills, time, and activities of other people in addition to myself." What are those tangible things that make a great leader? Good question.
Number one, as I alluded to earlier, the ability to make thyself heard when it's needed. You can be quiet 80% of the time, but a great leader says, "It's my turn. Everybody listen." And listen, quote, closely. And they have no fear. That is rooted, that is rooted deeply in a sense of courage and confidence in yourself. And so if you, for various reasons, are somebody who has low self-esteem, um, we can work backwards. Once you realize that the reward for rooting out your low self-esteem is high million or even tens of millions of dollars, you now have the motivation. So step one is getting that courage, that confidence, by focusing on the reward. Now, a lot of people will just tell you, "Get more confident, get more courageous." But humans don't work that way. Humans work through reward bias. I call them 39 triggers, the 39 cognitive biases that drive human behavior. Scientists used to say 25. I think I've identified 14 more. I've done over a billion in, in sales online. Uh, I've done over three billion minutes watching on my YouTube. And so I'm a person who's deep into the psychology of the masses and the high performers. And so what I'm trying to say to you is, you will only break your low self-esteem, your lack of confidence, by focusing on the reward. So you should say to yourself, "I can either be rich, or I can be comfortable, but not both." When you feel like not speaking up, when you feel like the low self-esteem and doubt of self is creeping in, focus on the reward. "I want to hit 10 million more than I care about my feelings." A man who's too tightly attuned into his feelings will not be a courageous man.
Humans are built with, with what Daniel Kahneman, the Nobel Prize winner, calls a two-part brain, or a two-system brain. System one is this kind of automatic thinking, this primitive, instinctual thinking. That's a modern scientist. Daniel Kahneman won a Nobel Prize. But old-school psychologists said the same. Sigmund Freud, he called it the ego and the id. The id was the instinctual you. And the super-ego. You go even further into ancient texts. Christianity called it the sinful nature of man, the angry, the murderous, the adulteress. Many religions take up that phrase. No matter what it is, you must harness it. And you must realize that you have two parts to the your brain. And if you're born shy, timid, and not a leader of men, the way you move from that instinctual weakness is kicking in system two. Daniel Kahneman, the Nobel Prize winner, calls it system two. And system two is deliberate thinking, logical thinking, medium prefrontal cortex, the small part of the human brain that doesn't work off instinct, but works upon logic. And you do that by focusing on the goal. So when you're called upon to go on a podcast, when you're called upon to do public speaking, when you're called upon to stand in front of 10 or 10,000 other humans looking at you, you don't focus on, "What if I look bad?" You go, "There's big reward in being able to lead and manage people. There's, there's 10 million here. I smell 10 million." And all of a sudden, those fears, anxieties begin to drift away because you're now focused on the goal. So become goal-oriented, not comfort-oriented. Tap into the non-instinctual side of your brain, the non-weak side of the brain. You can use the word sinful to not be courageous. If you look at some of the ancient religions, is to be a sinner. What does sin mean? To miss the mark. If you're shooting a bow and arrow, the word sin derives from somebody who does not hit the target. And when we're on the road from 1 to 10 million, 10 million is the target. Focus on the reward, not your fears. Focus on the reward, not your low self-esteem. Focus on your reward, not your past traumas.
Now, number two, you must become a reader of men. So number one, you have to become a leader of men. You overcome your fears by focusing on the goal. Number two, you must become a reader of men. What do I mean by that? Well, there's a science. One of my mentors, Dr. David Buss, got his PhD from Harvard in this science. It's very rarely talked about as a scientific discipline, but it is a well-known and well-established one called psychometrics. What that means is, sure, humans are different, but not that different. Sure, humans are different. There's people who are shy, they're shy. There's people who are, you know, extroverts and non-extroverts. There's people that are anxious and people that are low anxiety. But you can read and classify people into groups. I teach a PACE system, P-A-E-I, in order to do sales. When I wanted to scale beyond 10 million, I realized I had to be able to read humans quickly, very quickly, because often times you don't have much time. When we're talking money, when you're talking business deals, I've owned three businesses with guys on the Forbes list. I negotiated to buy those businesses from them. These are sharks. These are great white sharks. When you make it on the Forbes list, you're great white sharks. So I had to read and classify these people so that I could use different parts of my personality. Notice I didn't say be fake and change my personality, but I'm a multifaceted person, and so are you. So if you can first identify the person you're hiring, the person you're selling to, the person you're trying to lead, whether it's in your company, or whether it's in your university, or wherever it might be, even in your family, you must read them. You can use my PACE system. It's a system I developed over 10 years ago, and I've taught it to millions of people. P stands for a practical person. These are slower, more methodical, less emotional people. There's a PACE, P-A, A is an action-based person. These people make quick decisions. They're quick to anger and quick to decide. There's S's, social people in the PACE system. Social people like to talk and make decisions based on whether they like you. Then finally, you have the E in the PACE system. Those are emotional people. Those people are highly sensitive, and they're primarily going to decide whether they want to do business, whether they want to work for you, whether they want to buy from you, based upon emotions.
Now, we can go deep, and that's another video. But you can look at other scientists like Carl Jung, the famous psychoanalyst under Sigmund Freud. He came up with, uh, something called the Myers-Briggs personality, which is 16 types. You may have heard of that. Well-known website, 16 Personalities. There's newer systems called the Big Five, and there's even newer systems in that called HEXACO. H-E-X-A-C-O. You can pick your tool on how you want to read people, or use mine. PACE system is very powerful. I, I've done hundreds of millions in sales, even beyond teaching my team, whether it be my sales people, whether it be my marketing, whether it be automatic sales funnels that I built. I built five sales funnels, each done over 50 million minimum. I built some of the biggest marketing funnels in human history. And I did that by understanding that I had to be a leader of men. I'm a leader right now. I'm leading you. You're watching me. I don't say that in an arrogant way. I'm demonstrating that you, at some point, will be able and need to be able to give a talk in the same way I'm giving this fireside chat. Now, you may not do it on a YouTube channel or a social media channel. You may not do it to millions of people like I do. But it might be five people, might be a 100, might be 300 people who work for you or want to buy from you. But you must lead them, and you must read them. Lead and read. This is the path to 1 to $10 million. Can you lead a group of people who want to work for you while you're sleeping? They're working. And in addition, they want to buy from you. You're going to have to sell to more people, whatever your product or service is. So you're not only leading your employees, your staff, your contractors, but you're also leading your customers.
Steve Jobs said, "I sold people things they didn't know they needed yet." He said, "That's where the big money." First man to build a trillion-dollar company, Apple, first company to a trillion valuation. Steve Jobs. He said, "I had to lead people. They didn't know that they needed an iPhone. They thought they wanted a Blackberry." Blackberry, remember, was that phone that had lots of buttons? There's a recent movie which is on the rise and fall of Blackberry. At one point, it was a multibillion-dollar company, went to zero because they were not leaders and readers of men. And Steve Jobs was. And he led the world. He said, "You don't want that. Follow me. You want a touchless iPhone that has apps and more capabilities." And that took him to one of the wealthiest men who ever has walked this planet. He was a leader, but he also knew how to read. He understood. There's a famous story. Steve Jobs went to India and he said, "What he learned from the gurus and from the life of villages in the Himalayas, outside the big cities, is that there was a sense of intuition and simplicity that people want." And he said, "I came back and I made the iPhone simpler." Because he learned how to read people. He knew how to lead and read people into things they didn't even know they needed.
When I launched my 67 Steps program, which is the most popular and the most well-known self-help online program, self-development course ever, more people have watched or been through the 67 Steps, as far as I know, than any other self-development course in history. I launched it in July 2014, and nobody was asking for that. Nobody was saying, "Ty, can you help or launch a course that shares what your five millionaire mentors taught you in a 67-day challenge?" Because the average person takes 67 days to change their habits. No, I led the world. I said, "This is what the world doesn't know they need, but they do." When I started teaching people, launched SMMA, I'm the first and largest person to launch the SMMA concept to the world. I reached more people in one month than anybody had ever reached with that concept. I actually owned the trademark in the US for SMMA. I reached, you know, 100 million people saw the training, helped 40,000 people go through and launch an agency. People weren't clamoring for that. I had to lead, but I also had to read. In order to do the marketing, leading step one, reading people, going deep down the rabbit hole. You need to learn things like the INFP scale, narcissistic personality inventory. Are you hiring, partnering with, investing with somebody who's a narcissist? You need to know Machiavellian trait. It's called the Mach IV quiz. You need to know how to read whether people are high in Machiavellian sneakiness, with or they'll stab you in the back. I often say, "You're on your way to be worth 10 million, and somebody close to you is going to sue you for 20." Don't think it doesn't happen. Do you know how to read high Machiavellian people? Do you know how to do the Levenson psychopathy quiz for psychopaths, the person who has no empathy? Those are called the Dark Triad traits. You can go deeper. There's the Dark Tetrad, things like sadism. You can go deeper in the HEXACO 24 elements or facets of human personality. What's sentimentality? What's her anxiety? What's her dependent score? What's their organization, conscientiousness level, perfectionist level, their openness to new experience, their altruism scale, their sincerity scale, their greed avoidance scale, their modesty scale? There's seven types of narcissism. Did you know that? You must become a PhD of sorts in reading people. There's seven types of narcissism. Often times people think narcissists just like to look in the mirror and think they're beautiful. There's authority narcissism, superiority narcissism, exhibitionism narcissism, vanity narcissism, even self-sufficiency is classified as a form of, uh, narcissism. Did you know you could attract someone into your life that's too self-sufficient, tries to do too many things on their own, and ruins your whole company, your whole business, your whole flow of income? When you become a reader of people, you become sophisticated. And on the path to 1 to 10 million, don't think you're going to be an unsophisticated person. You get paid in proportion to the difficulty of problems you solve. Solve simple problems, you'll make simple money. So whenever you're trying to increase your net worth, it's always a skill game. What this video is about is what are the skills? What should be focused on? Leadership, leading, reading.
Now, this third one's tricky. I call it feeding. Not in the sense of literal food. I mean building people. So once you identify and lead somebody, and you feed that they're the right person, you have to grow them as a person. You have to replicate yourself. How do you feed somebody? Well, you train them, you compliment them at times, you offer them constructive criticism. Feeding is the process of taking other humans and making them great, whether they work for you, so that you can take a week off, a day off, so that you don't have to do every part of the business, so you don't have to do every sales call, every marketing funnel, every customer support email. No, leading, reading, and feeding the talent. If you don't feed the talent, they'll go somewhere else. Every single day, I do an all-hands Zoom call. I've been doing this for many years since Zoom started, because I have a global company with offices around the world, Sweden, Denmark, you know, Brazil, Pakistan. I've had an office for over 10 years, China, India, Hyderabad, India, and of course, across the United States. And so I realized I got to, I can't just lead from a distance. I can't just read them from a distance. I have to feed them. I have to invest into other people out of my bounty, out of my skills, out of my confidence. I must feed them so they become great, because people are loyal when you make them great, and they will stick around and work with you and build wealth with you. So that on the path to 1 to 10 million, you're not just doing it by sheer willpower, hard work, and more hours. You're going to kill yourself doing that. Many a man has run his health into the ground on the path to wealth because he did not understand the principles I'm talking about in this video: lead, read, and feed.
Now, in order to feed other people, you must be deep down the path of self-development. People say, "Ty, you did this TEDx talk. I have the number 40th TEDx talk of all time, never marketed, never promoted, just word of mouth. At one point, when it first came out, it was the top 10 for many years." And in that video, I talk about how why I read a book a day. And many people, "Oh, what are you talking about? It wasn't until Elon Musk's sister revealed that Elon reads two books a day that people start going, 'Oh, Ty's an underachiever with his book a day.'" The rhetoric for 10 years was, "No human could read one book a day." Well, I'm a slacker compared to some. But why do I read? Is it just to have my ego stroked where I can say, "No, out of the bounty, out of the knowledge and skill that I'm reading about, I can download the wisdom, experience, and life history of somebody's 50 years on their path. I can download it in 5 hours by reading or listening to an audio book." And I use that to feed the tribe that's around me, to train, to promote, to help those around me. So keep yourself fed, my friend. And some of you aren't taking the time. I had a call today with one of my Chief Revenue Officers for one of my companies. I said, "My friend, you used to be more into self-development. I said, 'You know, you haven't posted a book. You haven't posted a quote for the company. You haven't posted an article that helped you. You ain't feeding anybody.'" So guess what? The law of karma, the law of the law of, uh, as Jesus Christ said, "Loving thy neighbor as you're not loving yourself or your neighbor." You're not sharing anything. You're expecting people to follow you, work for you, die for you, make money for you, but you don't invest into them. You don't feed them because you're not feeding yourself.
So I want you to say to yourself, "You, you must read a book a week. You must listen to some podcasts. You must be going to seminars, conferences. You should have your own mentor or life coach." I don't care what level you're at. Little do people know that Mark Zuckerberg, the only man to ever be worth 100 billion before age 37, nobody's ever beaten him on that. He had a coach after he was a billionaire. He was humble enough to say, "I got to keep growing, learning, and being nurtured myself so I can grow this Facebook company." And he hired a man named Steve Jobs. That didn't come out until after Steve Jobs died. You can Google it. Elon, the mentor of Mark Zuckerberg, already a billionaire, he was humble enough to say, "I need you. I need other people." So feed yourself with mentors, coaches, conferences, seminars, online Zooms, podcasts, books, magazines, articles, tweets, Reddits, whatever it takes.
Now, here's the reality. It's like Bruce Lee said, "I don't fear the man who practices a thousand kicks one time. I fear the man who does one kick a day for a thousand straight days." So the good thing about training yourself, developing yourself on the path to 1 to 10 million, it doesn't take 8 hours a day. Some people say, "Well, Ty, I don't have time hardly to run my own businesses that are my own sources of cash flow, my own real estate. How are you expecting me to feed others when I don't have time myself?" 15 minutes a day, audio book. When you're in the shower, I did that today. I'm rereading Daniel Kahneman's, you know, Nobel Prize-winning book. I, I stick the iPhones now waterproof. So stick it off in the corner. Even if it gets wet, you can wipe it off. It ain't break anything. Listen. Put the soundproof audio. Take two showers a day. Hopefully take a 5-minute shower. That's 10 minutes right there. Don't tell me you don't have time. My mentor, Joel Salatin, my first mentor when I was 19, he used to say, "Ty, whenever somebody says they don't have time, just add the word 'for that'." Oh, they have time. They're just not willing to allocate it for that. So don't go deep down the path of having pity on yourself that you're busy. We're all busy out here. What differentiates a man from someone who's stuck at a million for or less than their entire life? Men who go to 10 million, they find the time. Don't go deep down that route of procrastination, patting yourself on the back, "Life's so hard, everybody's busy out here." I find it interesting, my broke friends tell me they're busy. You know, Mark Cuban, I remember the first time I met him, he came on my podcast in 2015. Mark Cuban, miraculously, has a billionaire who's in Shark Tank, multiple venture, you know, venture deals, owns the Dallas Mavericks basketball team. If you email him, he emails back in a minute, usually just one word. But it's very interesting. Why is that so interesting? Well, it's interesting from the standpoint of ultra-wealthy people, and even those who aren't yet wealthy but are on their path, they make the time for important things. And there's nothing more important than nurturing your own mind, developing your own self. It's interesting that Albert Einstein, one of the most influential people in history, he came up with the theory of general relativity, the theory of this E=mc², this kind of universal unifying formula, around 1912. And, um, I recently reread his book, General Theory of Relativity. And he was working full-time in a post office, sorting and delivering mail. And while working for full-time, he made space in his mind to learn, learn, and develop a new theory that broke down Newtonian physics and altered the face of man, ushered in the nuclear age. If he can come up with E=mc² (energy equals mass times the constant squared) while he's working a full-time manual labor job, essentially, don't tell me you don't have time. They didn't have refrigeration back then. They didn't have penicillin. They didn't have Google. You had to go to a library and do the research. So when people, the modern world, say, "I don't have time," I just go, "No, you're a poor manager of self."
So I want to encourage you to manage yourself so that you have the time to develop yourself, so that therefore you can feed intellectually the people around you. They will create your wealth. They will create your wealth, or they'll make you poor. Lead, read. This helps you get the right people in the right spot and fire the wrong ones. Feed. This allows you to retain great talent.
Now, there's other things I want to say. I want to put a quick link below. If you've watched this, you're a high net worth person. I've got some ongoing training that I'm doing that's more advanced. Okay? It's tylopz.com/highworth. I'll put the link below. I'm also going to show I have two phones I keep with me, personal phone and a business phone. It's my actual business phone. Travels with me everywhere. I'm also going to put my number. You can WhatsApp me or text me. I prefer WhatsApp. I check them. I look at them. Me and my CEO. I have an assistant that helps me. If you want to go further down this path on the road to 1 to 10 million, I have a high net worth mentor system where I work with high net worth individuals at various levels. I have people who are beyond 100 million, and I have people who are at the 10 million level. If you're more advanced and you'd like to learn more, or just go to the link below, or WhatsApp or text. Just put your name, okay? And your current net worth. Not because I'm going to filter you out if the number's low. No, I'm going to filter you into the right system. I have very advanced systems. If you got value from this talk, the value that you'll get from me working long-term will be infinitely more than this. Okay? So I don't want to push anything on you, but I have more advanced systems. I have high net worth systems working on scaling a business, working on paid ads, working on developing your personal brand, working on asset protection, tax optimization, going offshore, buying and selling companies, exiting your current company, acquiring assets, having multiple passports, setting up your lifestyle, multiple cities, buying farmland, all of these things that I don't know where you can go. Over the last 10 years, I've developed a system where I work with high net worth individuals. And people on the rise. About 50% of the big business influencers that you see every single day on your Instagram are my students. Big ones, some in the billion range, many in the 100 million plus. So I've been doing this, as far as I know, as long as anybody or longer. Um, so go here. You can go to this high net worth link, or WhatsApp or text. Just put your name. If you text your WhatsApp, name and net worth level, be honest, and I'll send you the appropriate thing. Send you stuff at no cost. Okay? I have paid things, and I have free trainings that go well beyond this. Okay? So go here.
Now, back to what I was saying. I just wanted to throw that in as I wrap up. I've got some of the most important things for you. In summary, I will make and state the case one more time. The path to 1 to 10 million, part three of this series, you cannot do it by sheer willpower, time, and hours. You're already working too hard just to get to a million. So you're going to need a smart Chief Operating Officer, maybe a smart CEO, maybe a Director of Operations, a Director of Customer Support. I divide my business into 14 divisions: people, product, legal, finance, social media, branding, paid ads, ad marketing, sales, tech, customer support, fulfillment, capital, M&A, C-suite, and board. The board of advisors. So I look for at least 14 leaders to work closely with me. That allows me to scale business without putting in 16 hours a day, so that I can think, work outside the business, work on strategy, and do things only I can do. On the path to 1 to 10 million, and especially, we'll talk in later parts of this series to go beyond 10 million, you will need, on a scale of 1 to 10, a whole bunch of eights, nines, and tens around you. And inevitably, when I look at entrepreneurs, I talk every day to entrepreneurs from around the world, when they're stuck somewhere between a $1 to $10 million personal net worth, I start asking them, "Rank the people around you. Your leaders, your personal assistant, your concierge, even your maids and valet, your chauffeurs, your security, which you'll eventually need as you start to make money, 1 to 10. How good are they?" You are the sum of the people that are around you. Surround yourself with an average seven out of 10 marketer, your marketing will be seven out of 10, and your net worth will be a seven out of 10.
"The men who manage men, manage the men who can only manage things." And so inevitably, when you're stuck, it's because you're a things manager. "Oh, Ty, if I just get this thing working." Even in the world of AI, we're 10 years away from fully being able to replace amazing people surrounding you with AI bots and agents. It's not ready yet. Remember, the human brain is a quantum computer. Roger Penrose won a Nobel Prize, and one of the things that he believes is this kind of Orch OR theory, which is the orchestrated consciousness. And so our, the human mind, yes, it can be replicated in some ways with artificial intelligence. But on matters of creativity and idea generation, uh, at least Roger Penrose thinks we are a quantum computer, and we don't yet have quantum computers, and we don't know if they'll be here in the next year or in the next 20 years. They'll be here eventually. And those quantum computers will be able to replicate what the brain does. But I'm trying to get you here quicker than 10 or 20 years. You can ignore what I'm saying if you want to just wait till a quantum computer comes. The problem is, if you want a quantum computer to be your CEO, your Chief Marketing Officer, by the time it comes, everybody will have a quantum computer, and you won't have a competitive edge anymore. So you want a whole bunch of very sharp, creative people who are hardworking, loyal to you, who you can lead around you at all times. Protect thyself at all times. That's what boxers say. The ref, they touch gloves, he says, "Protect yourself at all times." I call this my business bodyguard, my net worth bodyguard. If I have the best lawyers around me, because I know how
To lead, read, and feed the best lawyers. If I know how to lead, read, and feed the best accountants. If I know how to lead, read, and feed the best Chief Marketing Officers, the best Chief Social Media Branding Officers, the best Chief Sales Officers. How would you be able to catch me? How will you be able to compete with me? You won't.
But on the flip side, how will I be able to compete with you? You make more money than me. You'll make more money than your mentors if you go deep down the rabbit hole. Especially when you've hit this level. When you're below this level, this video is not completely for you because you can get to a million net worth with no employees. You can, um, but you can't really get here. There's almost no instances. There's so few instances. We could say statistically, it's as if there are zero. There's a few, but out of a million, if you have one out of a million, that's statistically a lottery ticket. It's an anomaly. It's not worth studying.
What I've shown you today is the tried and true way to scale your business, to scale your cash flow, and to scale your net worth. Be very careful of avoiding what I say. In fact, you could take this video and run it through ChatGPT and say, "What are the odds? What Tai said is accurate." Try it.
I had an idea recently. I call it Quantum Pro, uh, Quantum, uh, uh, probabilities or Quantum certainty. And, uh, ChatGPT was like, "This is a novel idea. We've never heard about it in the whole, in our whole internet bank." You know, AI works off the bank of available information online. So from time to time, I have very powerful ideas. I hope this one will be powerful for you. I don't say that to stroke my ego. In fact, you should think of me as possibly not real. We know, as Stephen Hawking said before he died, there's possibly 10 to the 500 power parallel universes. That's called many-worlds interpretation. About half of the smart quantum physicists in the world believe in many-worlds interpretation. So there's a possibility I'm not real. There is a possibility I'm somebody from the past, present, or future, or your consciousness conjured me up and I'm here to tell you a lesson.
Now, you may disagree with me. Maybe that's the lesson for you, or you might find value in this. You will only get results from this if you put it into practice. So today, today, not even tomorrow, I want you to speak up on something you haven't spoken up. If there's somebody in your life that needs to be spoken to, today's to get the courage. I want you to get good at reading people. I want you to go deep down the rabbit hole on beginning to understand, okay, are they a P, A, S, or an E? You learn it through trial and error. It's not that complicated. You start thinking about your brothers, sisters, mothers, and grandfathers. Oh, okay, that person was more practical. Okay, my grandpa Martin, he was actually an astrophysicist. He was published in Nature in 1973 with a Nobel Prize winner. It's on the cosmogony, Martin de Bakenrode, on the cosmogony of the asteroid belt, I think, outside Jupiter or something. But my grandfather was a P, but also an E. He was practical, scientific, but he also was emotional in the sense that he, people could piss him off quick.
So I began and continually learn, okay, I got to lead people. I got to speak up when I need to. I need to read people. What are they? P, A, C? What's their Hexaco score? What's their narcissism score? And then I think, how can I contribute to their life? Feed and add value into their life. And the second you put it in place, like in the next 24 hours, your life will begin to change.
You might need to listen to the video more than once. You might need to listen and fall asleep to this video. Whatever you do, don't internalize this video. If you internalize this video, you've lost the whole point. If you just accumulate this as head knowledge, you've lost the whole point of this video. This specific video is to tell you you have to get out of being an accumulator of knowledge and become a practitioner of knowledge.
The second you start to lead men and men begin to follow you, and you begin to weed out by reading the wrong ones and promote the ones, everything will change. In fact, the original quantum conversation before quantum physics was a thing was the Bible. Jesus Christ, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, "Move from here to there," and it'll move. You can say to this mountain, "Throw thyself into the sea," and it will be done. Notice he said the size of the mustard seed, one of the smallest seeds we know. Quantum physics talks about the smallest particles on Earth, things even smaller than atoms. When you begin to take action on even the smallest things, you can move mountains. And mathematically, statistically, to go from one to 10 million is so rare, it's almost as if you moved a mountain. Not even 1%, not even one-tenth of 1% of this world has a true net worth of $10 million. But if you have faith, which is believing something so much that you actually do it, faith without works is dead. So when you have living faith in this concept of becoming a leader of men, meaning you both have internalized it and understood it, but it becomes a part of your daily actions and habits, mountains are moved, net worth is grown.
Lead, read, and feed people. And, uh, come back to this YouTube video a day from now, a week from now, a year from now, and share honest truth on whether it changed your life. I'll challenge all of you. There's not one of you that puts this into practice that won't be able to come back here and say, "Mountains were moved, wealth was created." So good luck and, uh, go deeper.
20% of you, 80% of you should just watch this video three times. 20% of you should go deeper. Text me, WhatsApp me, or click that link. It'll redirect you to more advanced versions of everything you learned today. All right, talk to you soon and stay tuned. Make sure you get to all parts of this series. Part one: The Road from Zero to 100K Net Worth. Part two: The Road to 100K to a Million. This is Part Three: One to 10. Part Four is 10 Million to 100. And Part Five is the Road from 100 Million and Beyond. At that point, it doesn't matter. 100 million, 500 million, a billion. It's all good. All right, good luck. Stay strong. Talk to some of you soon.
