Wow. Just wow. Look, mind blown. All right, so check this out, you guys.
What I'm going to present to you in this video is hands down the most fascinating, most difficult, most profound prophecy I have personally ever studied in the Bible and have ever presented on this channel. I presented tons of videos on different Bible prophecy concepts throughout the Bible, but this one is definitely the most exciting one I've ever done, and it's the most difficult to understand. And so, in order for you to not get lost, I encourage you to have your Bible close by. Follow me. You may have to watch this video a couple of times. I encourage you to press pause on the video, follow along in the scriptures, read the verses with me if you really want to get the most out of it. And to make this as easy as possible because it is very difficult to understand. There's so many layers to this. I have a lot of visuals and different things that I believe will helpfully make it a lot easier for you to grasp.
Okay. So, the prophecy that I'm referring to is found in the book of Daniel, chapters 2, 7, and 8. And you could also maybe throw a little bit of nine in there, but we won't get into nine today. But essentially, this is what happens. God gives Daniel a clear vision of exactly how all of gentile history is going to play out in chronological order, hundreds of years before any of this happened throughout human history. Just first and foremost wrap your mind around that because it is humanly impossible for any human brain to comprehend what's going to happen next week, next month, next year, let alone 500 years in the future. And yet God shows Daniel exactly what's going to happen. Listen, this is a deep prophecy. And we're going to jump into it. We're going to take our time. This is not going to be a short video at all. I've got timestamps. It's going to be very organized. I've got to take my time because if I rush through it, you're not going to really get all that I got from it whenever I was studying it. So, grab a Bible, grab a pen. I know it's going to be a tough one, but trust me, by the end of this video, I promise it will all click and make more sense. And as always, I'll do my best to make it real simple.
Okay. So, the first thing that we need to establish is that when Daniel interpreted this vision that we're going to talk about in just a moment, the timeline, the year was around 603 to 602 BC. Now, remember in BC, the years are counting down, right? In terms of AD, now we're counting up. But this means, as you will see, God was going to show him what was going to take place over the next 500 years and beyond. and we'll talk about that in just a moment of human history.
So, let me set this up. There's a guy, his name is Nebuchadnezzar. He is the king of Babylon. So, this king called Nebuchadnezzar, we'll call him Nebby for short, he had a troubling dream. This dream was so troubling that the brother couldn't sleep. Now, normally, if you wanted someone to interpret your dreams, you would tell them the dream and then ask them to interpret the dream. But this dude Nebby wanted to make sure that he could trust his magicians and that they weren't just guessing about the interpretation. So what he did was he called in all of his magicians and all of his wise men and told them, "Hey, I need you to tell me not only the interpretation or the meaning of my dream, but I also need you to tell me what my dream was." Now, if you can do that, I'll reward you with gifts. So, obviously, his magicians clapped back and was like, "King, can't nobody do that. Like, at least tell us what the dream is, and if you tell us the dream, then we can interpret it for you." Well, when they told him that it couldn't be done, Nebuchadnezzar basically issued a decree that all of the wise men throughout his entire kingdom would [music] be killed.
But here is where things get very interesting. Daniel and his friends had so impressed Nebuchadnezzar that they were now included in his group of wise men. So that means their lives are now on the line as well. Notice if you go back to Daniel chapter 1, it says this, the king talked with them and no one impressed him as much as Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azeriah. So they entered the royal service. Whenever the king consulted them in any matter requiring wisdom and balanced judgment, he found them 10 times more capable than any of the magicians and enchanters in his entire kingdom. So watch this. This now means that the king is seeking to kill Daniel and his friends even though they didn't do anything wrong.
So what happens next is I have to set all this up. Trust me, I'm getting to the prophecy, but this is crucial. So, one of the king's men named Arich locates Daniel and threatens to kill him. To which Daniel says, "Why has the king issued such a harsh decree?" So, Daniel's like, "Whoa, wait a second. Why is the king tripping? Like, what's going on, man? We ain't do nothing." So, Aroch told him all that had happened. So, basically, Daniel asks him for more time to interpret the king's dream. So Daniel goes back, he tells his three boys and they seek the Lord and they're like, "God, give us favor. Give us wisdom. Give us the ability to interpret this dream." And the Bible says that night, God gave Daniel the ability to successfully interpret the king's dream and to give him the dream itself. So in chapter 2:4, it says, "Then Daniel went in to see Aryokch, whom the king had ordered to execute the wise men of Babylon. Daniel said to him, "Don't kill the wise men. Take me to the king and I will tell him the meaning of his dream.""
Now, before we read this dream and before we dig into the prophecy, trust me on this one. It's important to understand that God gives Daniel understanding of this vision in two different chapters. So chapter 2 is Nebuchadnezzar's dream and it portrays these four earthly kingdoms from earth's perspective on a statue. Now you may be familiar with this particular story. We're going to break it down very simply. So essentially there's a statue and on this statue each thing or body part on the statue represents a different earthly kingdom that is going to rule the world in succession. But this is the viewpoint from the earth which is the reason why it's using things like gold and iron and bronze because from the earth's perspective these kingdoms seem very very astute and very very strong and powerful and wealthy.
But if we go to chapter 7 where God gives Daniel a vision of these same four nations along with chapter 8, they are portrayed in a different way. They are portrayed as four beasts. So this lets us know that in chapter 7 they are portrayed from heaven's perspective. They might be strong and powerful, yes, but they are beasts. They are flawed but powerful. And so we see how God sees these next four nations that are going to rule in gentile history from heaven's perspective in chapter 7 and then from the earth's perspective in chapter 2. Think of it like two camera angles of the same exact timeline.
So, both visions, chapter 2 and chapter 7, once again, involve four earthly kingdoms who will rule one after the other after the other after the other. And then I can't wait till the end of this video. A final eternal kingdom established by God himself that will one day in the future destroy all of these earthly kingdoms that Daniel saw in his vision. Wow. So fascinating. More on that kingdom in [music] just a little bit.
So Daniel gets in front of the king and the king says, "Hey, can you interpret the dream?" And Daniel says, "Nah, bro. Nah, nah, I can't." But there is a God who can and he's the one who showed me not only the dream but the interpretation. So I love this. I love how Daniel does not take any glory for himself but he says I can't do it but I can tell you a God who can. So he points all the glory to God himself. So now Daniel begins to tell Nebuchadnezzar the dream in verses 31-35. And then in verses 36-4, Daniel will tell him the meaning or the interpretation of the dream, just as he promised he would do.
But in order for us not to be lost, it's important for us to keep track of the exact timing and chronology of each of these dreams and visions. But in order to do that, it's first critical to understand how the book of Daniel was broken up. Because if you don't understand this, you're going to get lost and you're going to start asking some of the same questions that I was asking. So, Daniel chapters 1-6 are basically historical stories or accounts of certain things that were happening during Daniel's lifetime in the kingdoms ruled by Babylon and Persia. Now, chapters 7-2 are the prophetic visions that God gave Daniel during the time of chapters 1-6. So, our reason why I say that is because you don't need to read Daniel as if it's in chronological order from chapters 1-2. No. Once again, first six chapters are stories or historical accounts of things that were happening in the kingdoms that Daniel was ruling in. Chapters 7-2 were the prophetic visions once again that God gave Daniel while he was serving in these earthly kingdoms.
So the first time marker that we will find is in the first verse of the entire book. So Daniel and his friends were brought from Jerusalem to Babylon in 605 BC. All right? So pay attention to that. Notice it says this. During the third year of King Jehoakim's reign in Judah, King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon came to Jerusalem and besieged it. Now, we know from history, this is 605 BC. Now, let's fast forward to the first vision that God gave Nebuchadnezzar in chapter 2. And notice the next time marker. One night during the second year of his reign, Nebuchadnezzar had such disturbing dreams that he couldn't sleep. So now notice this is 2 years later. This is now 603 BC. Keep that in mind and we'll make it clear as we go.
Now let's skip down to where Daniel tells Nebuchadnezzar the dream. Notice he says this. In your vision your majesty, you saw standing before you a huge shining statue of a man. It was a frightening sight, king. The head of the statue was made of fine gold. Now, let's just stop right there. At this point, you may be wondering, "Well, which kingdom is this referring to out of the four?" Well, I love this because scripture interprets scripture. A few verses later, when Daniel interprets the dream to Nebuchadnezzar, he explains that this first kingdom is the kingdom of Babylon, of which Nebuchadnezzar was currently reigning and ruling as the king. Notice verse 38. He has made you Nebuchadnezzar the ruler over all the inhabited world and has put even the wild animals and birds under your control. You are the head of gold. So notice here there is no confusion here. There's no type of ambiguity. It is very clear that the head of gold on the statue or the first nation that is involved in this vision is the nation of Babylon that was currently the world power being controlled by Nebuchadnezzar.
Notice the contrast from the world's perspective in chapter 2. The earthly kingdom of Babylon is represented as gold, wealthy, strong, majestic. But now let's go and fast forward to heaven's perspective of this same first nation in chapter 7. And it's represented as a wild beast, powerful but flawed. Notice Daniel 7 1-4. Earlier during the first year of King Balshazar's reign. Now this is different than Nebuchadnezzar. Keep that in mind. In Babylon, Daniel had a dream and saw visions as he lay in his bed. Now skip down. So now we have another time marker. The first year of King Balshazar's reign in Babylon according to documented history is 553 BC. Now this is important to note because once again the book of Daniel does not follow in chronological order. Chapter 7 actually happens before chapter 5. Now let's keep going. He wrote down the dream and this is what he saw. Then four huge beasts came out of the water, each different from the others. The first beast was like a lion with eagle's wings. As I watched, its wings were pulled off and it was left standing with its two hind feet on the ground like a human being and it was given a human mind.
Now we can clearly identify the head of the statue in Daniel 2 and the first beast in chapter 7 as being the kingdom of Babylon which was the kingdom once again that was in power when Daniel interpreted Nebuchadnezzar's dream in chapter 2. But now this is when things get extremely interesting.
So, let's move down the statue and move on to the second kingdom because it's going to get interesting. So, as we move down from the head of the statue down to the chest, Daniel saw this going back to chapter 2. The head of the statue was made of fine gold. That's Babylon. Now, watch this. Its chest and arms were silver. And if we skip to the interpretation of this dream in verse 39, notice it says this. Nebuchadnezzar, but after your kingdom comes to an end, another kingdom inferior to yours will rise to take your place. Notice here that there are two arms on the statue. See, everything is symbolic. Almost everything in this prophecy is symbolic, which is what makes it so mindblowing, crazy, fascinating. These two arms on the statue represent two kingdoms. But I want you to notice that Daniel does not mention the actual names of these two visions in chapter 2. This is when we have to harmonize his visions from chapters seven and 8 and see where he actually mentions this nation or these two nations as being the next world power that would then conquer Babylon and rule the world.
Let's keep going. So, if we skip ahead to chapter 7:5, it says this. Then I saw a second beast and it looked like a bear. It was rearing up or in some translations raised up on one side. Pay attention to that. Put a pin in that. We're going to come back to that. And it had three ribs in its mouth between its teeth. Fascinating. Oh my goodness. And I heard a voice saying to it, "Get up. Devour the flesh of many people."
Okay. So, we've made the connection that the second beast that Daniel saw or the second kingdom is symbolized by a bear that had three ribs in its mouth and was raised up on one side. The fact that this bear was raised up on one side indicates that one of the two kingdoms or the two arms of the statue, remember, would be stronger than the other. Now, let's keep going to see exactly where this is clearly identified as being the kingdoms of, you guessed it, Media and Persia.
So, if we fast forward to chapter 8, God gives Daniel another vision. Only in this chapter 8, God zooms in on the conflict between nations 2 and three, kingdoms 2 and three. And so that's what chapter 8 is all about. So we're going to get additional information about kingdoms 2 and three. So in this vision in chapter 8, the second kingdom is now symbolized by a ram, but it's the same kingdom. Watch. Notice first exactly when God gave Daniel this vision. Verse one says, "During the third year of King Balshazar's reign, I Daniel saw another vision following the one that had already appeared to me." Once again, remember that is in chapter 7. So, this is now in 551 BC, 2 years after Belshazar's reign begins. All right. Notice the specificity in which Daniel described the second kingdom. Fascinating. Notice as I looked up, I saw a ram with two long horns standing beside the river. One of the horns was longer than the other, even though it had grown later than the other one. Both of those points we're going to come back to. But just so you can be confident to know which kingdom that Daniel is talking about here, Daniel now tells us exactly who this kingdom is. If you fast forward down to verse 20, he says this, "The two-horned ram represents the kings of Media and Persia." Boom. There it is.
Now, wrap your brain around this. Now, Daniel was prophesying that after Babylon was going to be conquered, it was going to be conquered by the kings of Media and Persia. This had not yet happened yet. Now, how can we connect this ram to the bear that he saw in chapter 7? Well, notice that it says that one of the horns was longer than the other, symbolizing that once again, one of these two kingdoms, Media or Persia, will be stronger than the other. But notice one other thing. It also said that the longer horn grew later than the other one and this is exactly what happened in history. So what happened was media started out as the dominant power. But over time, eventually Persia became larger and stronger and more dominant than Media, which is the reason why the kingdom started out as the Meo Persian Kingdom. But by the end of the Old Testament, it became known as the Persian Empire of which Queen Esther was serving as Queen of Persia. This is because even though Persia had started to gain control later, it actually was the longer horn, right? Or it was the bear that was raised up on one side as he saw in chapter 7, indicating that Persia will eventually be stronger than Media.
All right, let's just take a break and stop and just get a breath and review what we know so far. So, at the time when Daniel was interpreting Nebuchadnezzar's dream, the Babylonians were in control. Eventually, the Mes and the Persians would conquer them. And this actually happened during the time Daniel was ministering in Babylon a few chapters later in chapter 5. This the reason why I gave you the time markers because you might be like, "Wait a second. Chapter 5 is before chapter 7." Ah, no. Remember 1-6 stories of Daniel. 7-2 prophetic visions that happened during the time of the stories in 1-6.
So notice in chapter 5:1 there's another time marker. Many years later, King Belshazzar gave a great feast for 1,000 of his nobles and he drank wine with them. Now Belshazzar is Nebuchadnezzar's predecessor. He was the king that came after Nebuchadnezzar. And while this feast is going on, there was a mysterious hand writing on the wall and it wrote Manet Manet Tequel Parcine. You may have heard this phrase, the handwriting on the wall. Oh, you see the handwriting on is what it comes from. So once again, no one could interpret the meaning and Daniel was called upon to do so just like he did before. So notice it says this. This is what these words mean. Manet means numbered. God has numbered the days of your reign, Belshazzar, and has brought it to an end. So basically, God is telling Belshazzar, the current king of Babylon, your days are numbered. It's getting ready to come to an end. Tequel means weighed. You have been weighed on the balances and you have not measured up. God has weighed all of your sin, all of your evil, all of your wickedness and it ain't it ain't adding up, right? You ain't measuring up. Parine means divided. Your kingdom has been divided and given to the Mes and Persians. Then at Belshazar's command, Daniel was dressed in purple robes and a gold chain was hung around his neck and he was proclaimed the third highest ruler in the kingdom. That very night, Belshazzar, the Babylonian king, was killed and Darius the me took over the kingdom at the age of 62. [music]
Now, history tells us that the Mes and Persians conquered the Babylonians in [music] 539 BC, which shows you once again that God gave Daniel the visions for chapters 7 and 8 before the events of chapter 5 unfolded. That's why I went through the timeline. Remember 7 and 8 was 553 BC, 551 BC, but then in chapter 5, it's 539 BC. All right.
Now, let's go even deeper into this prophecy and give further proof that this second kingdom is the kingdom of Media and Persia. Watch this. If we return to Daniel 7 and5, it says, "Then I saw a second beast, and it looked like a bear, and it was rearing up on one side, and it had three ribs in its mouth between its teeth. And I heard a voice saying to it, "Get up, devour the flesh of many people."" Now notice that this second beast, the bear, had three ribs in its mouth. This is where things get absolutely crazy. If you go back through history, history shows that when Media and Persia conquered, they didn't just conquer Babylon. They conquered Babylon in 539 BC, Lydia in 547 BC, and Egypt in 525 BC. These three kingdoms or these three nations were the three ribs that Daniel saw in the mouth of the bear as Daniel was seeing this history unfold of how the Mes and Persians would conquer the entire known world at that time. And what's fascinating is that Daniel prophesied this years before it ever [music] actually took place.
Now, let's go even deeper. I want you to return to the imagery of the ram in chapter 8. Okay? So, keep this clear. In chapter 2, it is the chest that represents the second kingdom. In chapter 7, it is the bear that represents the second kingdom. In chapter 8, it is the ram. So, notice something in verse 4 of chapter 8. The ram buted everything out of his way to the west, to the north and to the south, and no one could stand against him or help his victims. He did as he pleased and became very great. Now, I want you to look at this map and take notice of where Persia is located. It's located on the east side of the map. Notice where the three kingdoms or the three ribs in its mouth it conquered are located. Babylon is directly west. Egypt is directly south and Lydia is directly north. Exactly the way Daniel envisioned. You can't tell me that a human being inspired the word of God. You can't tell me that. Nobody can come up with this. This is written and inspired by a divine mind.
So now the Mes and Persians are in control. But let's keep moving down the statue from chapter 2. And now look at the third kingdom. Verse 32 once again says, "The head of the statue was made of fine gold. Its chest and arms were silver." Remember, two arms, two kingdoms. Its belly and thighs were bronze. So now notice that this third kingdom in Nebuchadnezzar's dream is represented in this vision as the belly and thighs of bronze. Now later in chapter 7, how does Daniel see this third kingdom? Well, in verse 6, it says, "Then the third of these strange beasts appeared, and it looked like a leopard. It had four birds wings on its back, and it had four heads. Great authority was given to this [music] beast."
Now, we got to unpack this one. Notice first that this beast is symbolized as a leopard. Now, what do we know about leopards? We know that leopards are extremely fast. Keep that in the back of your mind. But if you put four wings on the back of a leopard, what do you think that's going to do? It's going to make the leopard even faster, almost supernatural speed. Now, this third kingdom is the kingdom of Greece. Now, how do we know? Well, if we look at chapter 8 again, which you'll recall focuses on the conflict between kingdoms 2 and three, look at verse 5. While I was watching, suddenly a male goat appeared from the west. Oo, from the west. H, keep that in mind. Now, if you're wondering who this male goat is, you don't have to wonder very long because if you skip down to verse 21, God gives Daniel the answer. He clearly says the shaggy male goat represents the king of Greece. Wow.
Now let's go back to verse 5 because we've clearly established that this third kingdom or the belly of bronze in chapter 2 or the leopard in chapter 7 the male goat chapter 8 all this means the same third kingdom is the kingdom of Greece. Now returning to verse 5. While I was watching, suddenly a male goat appeared from the west. Crossing the land so swiftly that he didn't even touch the ground. Notice this leopard of the kingdom of Greece is described as conquering swiftly. But who is the leader of Greece? Who is the leader that's doing all this swift conquering? Keep reading. The Bible will give you clues. Notice it says this goat which had one very large horn between its eyes. Notice this goat, the king of Greece. So notice now this goat that Daniel saw in his vision, the kingdom of Greece had one very large horn between its eyes. And it's later explained that this large horn is who? Well, look at verse 21 again. The shaggy male goat represents the king of Greece. and the large horn between his eyes represents the first king of the Greek Empire. My brothers and sisters, it's all coming together.
So, history teaches us that during the intertestamental period, which is the reason why this portion of history is not in the Bible because the Old Testament ends with the Persian Empire in control with Esther serving as the queen. And when we open up the New Testament, the Romans are in control. So there are 400 of years of what we call the silent years or the intertestamental period of history that are not recorded in the Bible. During this time, the Greeks conquered the Mes and Persians under someone named Alexander the Great. You probably learned about him in history in grade school. Well, the Bible was the first to actually say and prophesy that the first king of Greece was going to conquer the entire known world. [music] And the crazy part is that according to history, he did this in just over 10 years, which is literally unthinkable, right? which is consistent with this concept of the leopard having four wings on his back. Thus indicating or symbolizing the extreme speed in which this king of Greece was going to conquer. And notice also where this goat is coming from. Verse 5 said it was coming from where? The west. Where is Greece? Directly west of Meo Persia.
But it gets even deeper. Notice in verse 8 of chapter 8, the goat became very powerful, but at the height of his power, his large horn was broken off. In the height of his power, the large horn was broken off. In the large horn's place grew four prominent horns pointing in the four directions of the earth. Guys, that's why I said this thing blows my mind. Watch this. History teaches us that Alexander the Great became extremely powerful but died at the height of his reign at the tender age of 32 explained here as the large horn being broken off of the male goat which represents the kingdom of Greece. And notice Daniel says that in its place four prominent horns grew. This also lines up perfectly with the vision that Daniel saw in chapter 7. Notice where the leopard was seen as having four heads. Are you seeing this? Notice Daniel 7:6. Then the third of these strange beasts appeared and it looked like a leopard. It had four birds wings on its back. We talked about that. And it had four heads. Great authority was given to this beast. Well, history once again teaches us that when Alexander the Great died, his empire, the empire of Greece was split into four kingdoms. Cassander, Lemicus, Salucus, and Tommy. Exactly the way Daniel described. Fascinating.
Well, that leaves one more kingdom, the fourth kingdom. And this is none other than the kingdom of, you guessed it, Rome. Let's return back to chapter 2. The head of the statue was made of fine gold. Its chest and arms were silver. Its belly and thighs were bronze. Its legs were iron. Remember that? And its feet were a combination of iron and baked clay. So now we come to the final part of the statue, the legs and feet of iron. And from history, we know this is the Roman Empire which conquered the Greeks around 150 years or so before Christ. Once again, this is found in the Intertestamental period. Notice just like there are two arms, there are two legs and two feet. Now, that's going to be important as we go a little bit later because two feet means 10 toes. Ah, keep that in mind. So eventually the Roman Empire split into a western and eastern Roman Empire. Fascinating. But not only this, it's described as legs of iron. Now I want you to notice the third kingdom of Greece was described as bronze. But in the ancient world, iron was considered one of the strongest and most powerful metals available, which [music] describes the kingdom of Rome perfectly because Rome or iron was even stronger and more powerful than the kingdom of Greece represented by bronze. And when you look throughout history, you'll see that Rome was by far the strongest, most durable, most longlasting, and most powerful gentile nation and kingdom to ever rule throughout world history. I want you to notice the chart below that shows just how long Rome dominated as a world power. Notice Babylon 605 to 539 BC roughly 66 years. Meo Persia 539 to 331 BC roughly 28 years. Notice Greece 331 to 146 BC roughly 186 years. But look at Rome 146 BC to 476 AD roughly 500 years. And in the east, it dominated until 1453 AD, which means in total it dominated for around 1,480 years. This is the reason why this kingdom was represented by iron.
Now, without going too deep into the prophetic weeds here, notice how chapter 7 describes this fourth kingdom of Rome. Then in my vision that night, I saw a fourth beast, terrifying, dreadful, and very strong. It devoured and crushed its victims with huge iron teeth and trampled their remains beneath its feet. Notice it was different from any of the other beasts, and it had 10 horns. Now, do you remember earlier the two feet, 10 toes? Okay, it's going to come back. 10 toes on the statue. Now, this is where things get a bit confusing, so I'll do my best to simplify it. Daniel saw Rome as in his mind a future kingdom but for us historically looking back an ancient kingdom that reigned slightly before the time of Christ and extending beyond the time of Christ. But here's where things get interesting and I hope this makes sense. I'm going to do my best. There is a yet future Roman Empire that will arise during the tribulation that Daniel also foresaw. How do we know? Well, he left behind some amazing clues. Notice this beast had how many horns? 10 horns. This is the same beast that John saw in the book of Revelation 13, which we know refers to the future tribulation, a kingdom that has not yet been established during the time that I'm recording this video. John sees the same type of beast with 10 horns. And if John's vision refers to a future tribulation period, that means that the beast that Daniel saw in his vision is also referring to the same future [music] world power that's going to rule during the tribulation.
Now, if you're confused at all, I think now would be a good time to pause and let the scriptures explain [music] these visions for itself. So later in Daniel 2, after the dream was explained to Nebuchadnezzar, the interpretation of the dream is clearly given. Let's read it. Make it very simple. He says, "Nbzar, okay, I gave you the dream already in verses 31-35. Now we will tell the king what it means. Your majesty, you are the greatest of kings. The God of heaven has given you sovereignty, power, strength, and honor. He has made you the ruler over all the inhabited world and has put even the wild animals and birds under your control. You are the head of gold. But after your kingdom comes to an end, another kingdom inferior to yours will rise to take your place. And we know that is Meo Persia. After that kingdom has fallen, yet a third kingdom represented by bronze will rise to rule the world. We know that is the kingdom of Greece. Following that kingdom, there will be a fourth one as strong as iron. That [music] kingdom will smash and crush all previous empires just as iron smashes and crushes everything it strikes. The feet and toes you saw were a combination of iron and baked clay, showing that this kingdom will be divided. Like iron mixed with clay, it will have some of the strength of the iron.
Now, fast forward to verse 44. During the reigns of those kings, now what kings is he talking about? the 10 toes, the 10 horns on the beast, the 10 kings, the 10 future kingdoms that are going to come together during the time of the tribulation. I'm getting ahead [clears throat] of myself. The God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed or conquered. Woo! I've been waiting this whole video to get to this. I'm going to shout. It will crush all these kingdoms into nothingness, and it will stand forever. I'm going to come back to that.
So notice now 10 toes, that's the fourth kingdom of Rome. Statue 10 feet, 10 toes or two feet, 10 toes. A beast with 10 horns, that's the fourth kingdom of Rome. Here's the problem. In all of ancient Rome, they've never had 10 kings ruling simultaneously, which indicates that this kingdom that Daniel saw that had 10 horns, 10 kings that were reigning, he was referring and seeing something in the future that had not yet taken place on earth. In other words, God gave Daniel both the vision of the immediate Roman Empire and what scholars call the future revived Roman Empire that is going to be in control ruled by 10 kings during the time of the future tribulation. How do we know this? Well, the scripture confirms it. Notice in chapter 7 and 7 and 8. Then in my vision that night, I saw a fourth beast, terrifying, dreadful, and very strong. It devoured and crushed its victims with huge iron teeth and trampled their remains beneath its feet. It was different from the other beasts, and it had 10 horns. As I was looking at the horns, suddenly another small horn appeared among them. Three of the first horns were torn out by the roots to make room for it. This little horn had eyes like human eyes and a mouth that was boasting arrogantly. My brothers and sisters, this little horn that Daniel saw that had eyes like human eyes and a mouth that was boasting arrogantly is none other than the future evil ruler, the Antichrist himself. He is going to emerge from the Roman Empire at that time in the future being reigned and ruled by 10 kings who will come together and consolidate their power.
Now, Revelation also gives us the same clue to prove to you even more that this is a future kingdom. Look at 13:es 1 and 2. John now sees this. I saw a beast rising up out of the sea. It had seven heads. And here it is. 10 [music] horns with 10 crowns on its horns. And written on each head were names that blasphemed God. [music] Now pay attention here. This beast looked like a leopard but had the feet of a bear and the mouth of a [music] lion. Where have we seen those before? The leopard, the bear, and the lion. What do they represent? They represent the kingdom of Greece, the kingdom of Meo, Persia, and the kingdom of Babylon. And the dragon gave the beast his own power and [music] throne and great authority. Wow. Are you catching this? John sees a vision where all of the evil of the world kingdoms from the past, all of the evil of the leopard, kingdom of Greece, all the evil of the bear, the kingdom of Meo, Persia, all the evil and wickedness of the kingdom of Babylon symbolized and depicted by a lion are now going to all be wrapped up and combined and consolidated into this one future. extremely wicked and evil kingdom led in the future by the antichrist during the time of the great tribulation.
One more clue. Chapter 17, 12, and 13. The 10 horns of the beast are 10 kings who have not yet [music] risen to power. So John is telling you it's not here yet. It's going to come. They will be appointed to their kingdoms for one brief moment to reign with the beast. They will all agree to give him their power and [music] authority. Are you seeing this? It's all tying together. 10 toes on the statue. 10 horns, 10 kingdoms, all coming [music] together.
But here is the moment I've been waiting for the entire video. As evil and as powerful and as wicked and as strong as this earthly [music] kingdom is that is going to be reigned and ruled by the Antichrist, look at what the Bible says is going to happen to it. Let's go all the way back to Daniel 2. Daniel now describing the dream. He says, "As you watched a rock, Nebuchadnezzar was cut from a mountain, but not from human hands. It struck the feet of iron and clay, smashing them to bits. The whole statue was crushed into small pieces of iron, clay, bronze, silver, and gold. Then the wind blew them away without a trace, like chaff on a threshing floor. But the rock that knocked the statue down became [music] a great mountain that covered the whole earth. Notice here that the rock cut from the mountain was cut not by human hands, which right away implies that this is divinely created. And notice that this rock strikes not only the feet of the statue but the entire statue implying that this rock whatever it is is going to destroy all earthly kingdoms. And notice the end. The rock became a great mountain that covered the whole earth. Put a pin there because we are going to come back to it.
Now remember this is just Daniel explaining the dream to Nebuchadnezzar. But a few verses later he explains the interpretation of the dream. During the reigns of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed or conquered. It will crush all these kingdoms into nothingness, and it will stand forever. Notice that during the reigns of the future 10 kings in the tribulation, the revived Roman Empire will be crushed, will be destroyed by this future kingdom. God is going to set up an eternal kingdom that will crush all these kingdoms and it will stand forever. My friend, this is the kingdom that you and I, I know I'll be a part of it, hopefully you will, will be a part of. If you're a believer in Christ where God will set up in the second coming, he'll set up an earthly kingdom that will destroy all of these earthly kingdoms. And it'll be a divine kingdom where he will sit on the throne, and he will reign and rule for a thousand years, and his kingdom will have no end.
Now, this isn't the only place Daniel refers to this kingdom. He mentions it again in his other dream in chapter 7. As my vision continued that night, I saw someone like a son of man coming with the clouds of heaven. I wonder who this is. He approached the ancient one. This is Jesus. And was led into his presence. He was given authority, honor, and sovereignty over all the nations of the world so that people of every race and nation and language would obey him. His rule is eternal. It will never end. His kingdom will never be destroyed. And who will be with him? Verse 18. But in the end, the holy people of the Most High, that's you and me, will be given the kingdom, and they will rule forever and ever. Woo! I'm done.
Why does any of this matter? Is this just another prophecy to be amazed at? No. Prophecies like this give us strong evidence that the [music] Bible we hold in our hands today was not inspired by man. And it may have been written down by man, but not inspired. Because it is humanly impossible for any [music] human mind to predict with perfect accuracy, even naming nations hundreds of years before and describing [music] exactly how history is going to play out. And we have the luxury of looking back throughout history and seeing that everything played out exactly as Daniel described. And this is just one of many prophecies that gives us evidence of the truth of the Bible. And if the Bible is true, Jesus is true. And if Jesus is true, Christianity is true. Guys, hopefully now you can see why my mind was so blown by this prophecy. I hope it wasn't too confusing. It probably was. But I encourage you to watch this video again and again. And at some point, if it was confusing, it's going to click if you just piece together all of the different scriptures, all the different parts.
