If you guys are tired of getting killed in the night raids or dark areas by people hiding in the shadows, then look no further.
Welcome back, YouTube. Been a while. And in this one, I'm going to show you guys the best Nvidia filters for you to see in the dark, for you to see in night raids in our craters. Because, as you know, a lot of maps have very, very, very dark areas. And a lot of times what happens is you get killed by a rat hiding in the corner of the room that you've never seen and he somehow saw you and this is what everybody's using.
If you play other extraction shooters, if you play Rust, then you know exactly what I'm going to show you guys. But this is the definitive way to get night vision in Arc Raiders. And all you guys are going to need is the Nvidia app. You can get this on Nvidia's website. Comes with your drivers as well, so you probably already have it. And once you have the Nvidia app open, just go to settings and make sure that Nvidia overlay and the game filters are both enabled. Otherwise, this is not going to work.
So after you guys get the Nvidia app, you open it by pressing Alt Z. It's going to open this. You're going to go to game filters. Out of three things you're going to want to add is details, color, and brightness. So for details, you're going to put sharpen on zero. These are the settings you're going to want to run in details. 20 on clarity, HDR tone 100, bloom on 120. You can play around with this because I have a different monitor than you do. So you might find different settings that work for you.
After that, in color, you just put vibrance up a little bit. Leave everything else on zero. And in brightness, contrast, you have to put gamma up. These are the most important ones. Brightness and contrast settings. These are basically what make these shadows almost invisible.
And once you put these in, they're going to be under active filters over here. And what I like to do is go to settings over here in a shortcuts and just to make a hotkey to toggle my profile. So I have it on Alt F3. I don't always play with this. Uh you can just press the hot key and you know it just switches. This is also really good in daytime in really dark places around different parts of the maps. You can just turn it on while you're in there.
And yeah, example is over here by the zip area. You see how dark it is going up. So for example, if I was being a little and camping somebody over here, I would not see anything. Probably going up or down because I could easily be hiding. But if you turn on the filters, you can literally see everything. Would actually be able to see an enemy pretty easily going up and down. So the difference is uh pretty absurd.
And using this outside is also super helpful, too. Just like for those small corners and stuff over there, there could easily be someone camping in that corner right there that you probably wouldn't be able to see without the filters unless you zoomed in over here. It just gets rid of all these shadows. Game definitely looks worse, but if you're looking for that small competitive advantage and you're PvPing, um this is probably a mustave.
