And so, as the Lord gives you testimonies, I want to encourage you to please send to us so that it can be a blessing to God's people. Good morning, church. I want to thank God that since I joined the DD Generation Church online, it's been growth and consciousness all the way. Indeed, distance is not a barrier. I want to thank God for good success in my exam. The one that I wrote last week. Prior to the exam, I was worried about a particular section of the exam, but I kept playing the song by Pastor, "I will not fail." And I kept declaring to myself, "I am a David. I cannot fail." It was as though I added the faith of Pence to mine, and I went in with the assurance and boldness that as a David, I cannot fail. After the exam, I felt I didn't do well in the section I was worried about, but I just prayed about it and I handed it over to God. The result was supposed to be out in five days, and in 48 hours, I got my result. I didn't just pass, I passed very well, even in the section that I was worried about. Praise the Lord. Thank you, Pastor. Thank you to Pastor It. Thank you to fellow Davids. I love you all. Francisca, an online member. Can we give Jesus praise for that? Hallelujah. This testimony for my sister, Sister Bola. She said, "It's a great privilege to testify this day to God's goodness, mercy, and faithfulness." I could remember vividly the first day I stepped into DGC. It was on a Christmas Day, and I knew God would have me come again and again. Ever since then, I have been experiencing God in a new dimension. The reproach I've been battling with for over six years, God took it away. It was like a huge load that was taken off me, and yes, I can say boldly that I have the peace of God. I have the joy of the Holy Ghost. Indeed, I have broken through. Earlier this year, I thank God because he delivered my uncle from a den of kidnappers on his way to work. He had spent almost a week in confinement, but God gave him victory and rescued him during our breakthrough week. And having conf Psalms 91 as instructed by Pastor Lawrence. Also, God has been faithful concerning my financial need and the financial need of my family, and he wouldn't stop amazing me. Lastly, I want to bless God for my academic journey so far. It's one of our burdens I had the first day I stepped into DGC, but God turned my academic around, or academics around. Consequently, my results have been amazing. However, I just finished my final year papers, and I have everything, and it has been perfect, and I'm sure it's perfected even by the spirit of the Lord. This is my testimony. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you to the pastor. Can we celebrate Jesus for this testimony? Hallelujah. Good morning, church, and happy Sunday to everyone. Happy new month. I want to thank God for leading me and guiding me and lots more. Ever since I earnestly and wholeheartedly prayed the prayer that God should show my heart to me and help me uproot, remove, and kill that that needs to be killed in my heart. Almost immediately, God started. Every day shows my heart to me, and I'm just wow, like it's surprising me that these things are showing me are actually in my heart. I really thank God for the surgical work he's doing in my heart. I thank the Holy Spirit because he's helping me to shed love abroad in my heart. I knew I had love, but I was only expressing it to those I wanted to, those I felt deserved it. Praise God. But nowadays, the Lord is helping me to show love to both those that are deserving and undeserving. Sincerely, it isn't easy. If not for the Holy Spirit, things I wouldn't have done because I really didn't see the need to do those things, but by the help of the Holy Spirit, I'm doing them. I thank God for growth. I thank God because he has been opening my eyes to see. Thanks to the book, um, that I read, "The Love Recognition" by Mike Mok. God opened my eyes to see that my enemies are walls, okay, but doors for me to walk through, even into my next level. I had been seeing them as walls all along. When God says, "Everything works together for good to them that love God," I unknowingly excluded my enemies from everything, but now I see that everything, all things, work together for my good. Can you declare, "All things work together for my good"? All together for my. Now I know and see that it doesn't matter what my enemies bring my way. With God's help, I have overcome, and I will keep moving to my next level. I'm a witness, and I'm a living testimony of God's faithfulness. God's goodness. Glory be to God. Can we celebrate Jesus? So, I take this as the last testimony for today. Good morning, church. This is Mr. and Mrs. To O Favor. Like the wind, praise the Lord. We're writing this testimony to share with you that God is good, and He is always after the greatness and goodness of His people. Hallelujah. It happened that when we started processing our journey to travel, we had nothing, but we knew God wanted us to relocate. How the provision was going to happen, we didn't know. As well, we have shared this testimony previously of how God was able to sort that out. Some months ago, my wife started getting emails from our school about completing a tuition fee, um, which was about £19,100 in total, and we've been able to cover some of it because we pay something weekly, but it was still remaining about £11,670, okay? And UK universities, uh, you know, this year has been very strict. Praise the Lord. So, about two weeks ago, her account was deactivated, asking that she pays off the remainder in two weeks, and that is about £11,670, or she will be withdrawn from her university. People of God, there was no money anywhere, and we started trusting the Lord with everything, and we said that everything will be fine. We reached out to several family friends, all to no avail. Nobody was coming through. Hallelujah. But we kept ourselves believing and saying that we didn't come here all by ourselves, but it was God, and He would sort it out. After the deadline, my wife and I spoke and came to the conclusion that we just put everything in God's hand and asked Him to take control of everything. Praise the Lord. Our parents kept asking us, okay, and they were super worried, worried, but we kept on saying, "All will be sorted," and they should not worry. A day after the deadline, a longtime friend of ours that we didn't even call or even think of, reached out via calls, and we were asking how we got our numbers, okay? But he kept saying that that is not important, okay? That he, we should send our postcode, and he wants to see us by all means. That night, long story short, he came all the way to the city where they were, okay? He came all the way to the city where they were, and he asked about their well-being. He said that he was having a nudge in his spirit, and he has been procrastinating his wife said to him to come over that night by all means, that he had been procrastinating visiting these people, and so he met with Mr. and Mrs. and asked them what was going on. And so they didn't want to bother him, they didn't want to stress him. Long story short, they told him that they had £11,000, um, 00 to pay because they had already exceeded the deadline. Okay? And next thing that happened, she got to school, the wife's account had been deactivated, she couldn't attend classes anymore. Next thing that happened, she reached out to him, and he sent £4,000. After he sent £4,000, in less than, um, in less than 24 hours, he had completed the whole about 11 to 12,000, that's about 20 million Naira. Hallelujah. From someone that was unexpected. It wasn't someone that they reached out to. He came because he had a burden concerning this house, concerning this family. Are we together? And so, miraculously, in 24 hours, the bills were sorted. That was not all that happened to them. That was not all that happened to them. Suddenly, he said, "What work are you doing?" and offered, made sure that she got a job that she was doing, earning higher than a student will earn while working, I mean, while studying, even in the UK. The testimony today is a testimony of open doors, and the Lord showing His fatherhood to them. I want to believe there are one or two people who are seated here today who you might not know how, you might not know when, but you are trusting the Lord that even as He has made these people share testimony, that you are the next in line. And I want to believe that this service is the service that will kickstart your testimony sharing. If you don't mind, will Jesus join your heart? Can you rise as we give Him thanks? Can you say, "Lord, we thank You for coming through for our brethren"? If He did it for them, He's able to do much more. Lift your voice and give Him thanks. Lift your voice and give Him thanks. Come on. Come on. Come on, brethren. Lift your voice and give Him thanks. Lift your voice and give Him praise. Give Him [Music] praise. You have a track record of keeping Your Word. Come [Music] on. [Music] Oh, God bless you. Please be seated. [Music] [Music] Briefly. Oh, all right. Today, we'll finish the sharing on the blessing of pain by the grace of God. Last week, if you with your notes, please open. Let's review last week. What did we do? We started by saying what last week's Sunday. So, we began by talking about what pain is going to accomplish in our lives, and we said what it results in the formations of Christ. Do you remember? And we began to describe one by one, Christ in number one, the intensity of results. So, there's something discomfort will achieve in you that just rest might not likely achieve in you. At least, throughout the ages, we have never seen anyone who never went through discomfort who became all that God wrote concerning their lives. So, it just goes to show that pain is a part of our process of becoming. Is that correct? Yeah. So, just get used to it. In the intensity of your results, you will see Christ being formed. Where did Joseph learn to administer the way he administered Egypt? H. He learned first in the house of who? Potiphar. Was it a breakthrough to be in the house of Potiphar? Remember, he was in his father's house, wearing a colorful coat, daddy's boy, and then he was sold. That was pain, but God brought something out of Joseph in the midst of that pain. First, he began to understand leadership through his experience of leading Potiphar's house, and he mastered it so much. You know, all those stories you think they happened in six months. After six months, he went to prison. After one year, he went to. Those were years of Joseph's life. So, it gave him enough time to master many things. He mastered a household. Are you seeing God? What anybody who was Joseph's friend would be thinking was that he's now chief house boy. They couldn't see the hand of God in the midst of that pain, preparing him and training his hands for war, so that one day when he's lord over the entire civilization, because Egypt was basically America that time, Joseph led first from that house, and we have record that everything under Joseph prospered. Yes or no? So, Potiphar stopped checking anything. When they check the records of the books, everything was straight. Ah, he checked all the records for the farm lands they had, everything was straight. He checked the records of salaries paid, everything was. The last person who was administrator in the guy's house, he knows how much he was losing on a monthly basis. But now, when they asked for for for diesel, he noticed that it was taking about 40,000 per week initially. Now it's taking about 26,000, and there will still be remaining diesel for the next week. What's happening here? There are some kind of people that will take care of your property, you will not mind them stealing. I don't know how to say that in a very righteous way, but there are governors who stole, and the state were happy still. At least all was now well with us. As he was stealing, so even if Joseph was stealing, the man did not care anymore because there's a kind of control you give to somebody that is risky. Is somebody getting what I'm saying? That's the kind of control. But if I give Joseph, take charge of everything, it's only my wife, and even that wife, he remains small. Joseph would have taken charge of the wife. He entered into prison, and we saw the same track record. And the prison master of the prison, please touch whatever you touch now. The master of the prison handed the entire prison to Joseph for Joseph to take care of. Does that even make sense? Anybody watching Joseph's story should have known already that God was preparing him for something. Everywhere he went, Satan was thinking he was crafting pain. God was preparing. And that's one thing you will notice in your seasons that despite the fact that it was like a downtime, like a retracting kind of season, yet in the midst of it, there were lessons God ensured you learned. Is somebody getting what I'm talking about? Yeah, because Joseph didn't just arrive on the scene and become excellent in leadership. You have to trace his life, and we saw that it was the painful experiences that God was still using to craft the master of Egypt that he was going to become. And so, how do we know he was a good administrator in prison? Because the prison warden did not check anything. How you know that you are excellent in leadership is that the one overseeing does not see any need to check anymore. Monitoring, checking, confirming, cross-checking is because you're not doing an excellent job. The moment your job is excellent, your superior rests. I pray for anyone who has a business running here, and you're trusting the Lord for excellent staff. The Lord will bring them to you in the name of Jesus. Yeah, it helps you rest. Once you notice there's no rest on a business, on a work, on a ministry, on a church, it's because you're not yet with a personnel that is what excellent. So, they not just notice that once this guy took charge, all those brawls that you find in prison, you know, you must find people fighting. I mean, they gathered all the worst people in sight, those that have temper, those that killed their wife because of she said you are stupid. They put the guy in prison with another guy who broke his cousin's neck because he said he's mad. You now put them together. It's time for breakfast, and each one now said, "You are stupid. You are mad." What are you supposed to sit there? It's supposed to be what? Fight. But as Joseph is in charge, nobody was fighting. How? Everybody was doing like Christians. Got to take charge. Hold the key. Maybe even gave him the key for the exit of the prison. H. That was not there. But I suspect he just left the prison and just went on holiday, and no issue came up from the prison of Egypt. Come celebrate Joseph now. So, don't be surprised that in one day, somebody came from prison and became prime minister. It's not supposed to be. Before you start praying for that to happen, ask your neighbor, "Are you maximizing your painful seasons?" Because sadly, not everybody that went through pain will come out victorious. Yes, pain will do one of two things to you. Either it will break you or it will make you. If it didn't make you, forget about reward. I'll say that one more time. Two things can happen. All right, it's like heads or tails. It's a coin. Only two things. You can't be on the fence. It's either it will break you or it will make you. So, some people will go through the painful season and turn out worse off. Some of them will hate God. Some of them hate church. Some of them will run away from God, and so on and so forth, and enter into a season of one year, two years, saying they're not doing again. All right. I've had my fair share of something like that. Thank God I eventually was restored. There is no reward for failing a test or exam. All right. So, the fact that you went through the trial is not enough to mean that you're going to receive a reward. You're passing through the trial or through the fire, and your confession, your integrity is still consistent. Remember, that was the test of Job, right? Yeah. If Job cursed God in the midst of the pain, would they have given him double portion? Yeah. Not say, "At least he has gone through." At least for what you went through. Uh-uh. The reason we are calling it the blessing of pain is because of what happens after you finish going through the pain, and what the pain itself leaves you with as a deposit. All right. So, let's go on. We said Christ in intensity of results. And don't forget, Christ is not all about just healing the sick and raising the dead. Christ is everything that Christ encompasses. Christ is running the entire universe as we speak. He's the greatest administrator. Is somebody hearing what I'm saying? He holds all things by the word of His power. Glory to God. But of course, the obvious ones, we will notice that as we go through pain, we will see depths of power we have never seen before. We said also Christ in what is that where I stopped? Oh, okay. Still have a number of them to go. Christ in humility. So, what pain usually does to a person is that you will be humbled by it. Don't forget, as I'm saying, pain, add what? Discomfort. Add what else? Suffering. What else? Inconvenience. So, it's a spectrum of extreme to all right. Anyone that you prefer, but whether it is coming or not is not a question. Tell your neighbor, it is coming. So, you can change the words to whatever you like, slight inconvenience, but it's coming. It's coming. Jonah finished prophesying, and in that prophecy, he added what they did not tell him to add. He told him he should cry out, should go and prophesy to Nineveh that their sins have come up to God, should tell them he should repent, that they don't repent, just go and tell them that they are sinning too much. Jonah went and was specific. "In 40 days, Nineveh will be destroyed." That was his message. "40 days, you guys are toast." So, what can we do? "In 40 days, you are toast. Everything is going down." Then the king, for the first time, we see in scriptures that even animals fasted. The king said, "No living thing is to eat." Even probably plants. I was not day. Everything fasted that maybe God may have mercy upon us and forgive us. God now forgave. Jonah was now sad that God forgave sins. Did Jonah sin against God? Did God forgive Jonah? Yes. Did God still use Jonah after just fresh, fresh sinner? Are you getting what I'm saying? He just finished. He was just. Let's not waste time. If we examine Jonah's matter, we won't leave this place. Jonah was not a normal person. Should I talk about Jonah briefly? Jonah was told by God, not inward witness. Some of you will not obey and you will say, "It's because I'm not sure it was God." Right? When God is speaking, usually you will know. Out loud, audible. Jonah, go to this, Nineveh, do this. He quickly entered a ship in the opposite direction, and the Bible says he went down and slept. Came up when they finally woke him up. I don't know how the guy was sleeping that he didn't know that they were, you know, about to die. They came, "Waking up, come and join us and call on." We finished calling all the gods. No gods remaining again. Do you have God to add to the gods? That's literally what they did. "Come and add your God to the number of gods. We don't know which God is going to answer us." And he came and then said, "I serve the One who made the land." And it's one of two things. Either he just discovered that time that God is also God of the sea, that's why he had to add sea, or he knew before and he was testing God. Either option is interesting. And then he's telling them, "Throw me into the sea, and this whole thing will stop." [Music] Down. And then, as normal human beings, they're telling him, "No, we can't do that. Let's continue crying onto God." He said, "You guys want to die really? I say, throw me now. Me be your problem. Throw me, and this whole thing will stop." All right. It's okay. As blood will not be upon us, and so on and so forth. And then they fling the guy, and boom, everywhere is quiet. It's like he's saying, "I would rather die than preach." Oh, I'll show you. They throw him into the sea. A big fish swallows him up, and Jonah said, "No word for three days." It's like saying, "Do your worst." Day one, Jonah was not sorry. Day two, Jonah was not sorry. Read your Bible. We don't have time today. On the third day, says, "I suspect like Elijah, maybe was hungry or something." Kill me, will not kill me. So far is all right. Okay, sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. They vomited him on the coast of where he was going to preach, and gave him the command again, fresh. It was with that anger he entered Nineveh already. You know that this is a charged guy. He's charged God. That's why I believe that's why it's important that you, you prepare your vessel. It's almost like it must be him because the kind of utterance Joshua carries, AB, Jonah carries. If he preaches to you, you repent of sins you did not commit. Now, three days he did not see the light. Do you see the principle that was going on there? As it were, he was in a dark room meditating. Three straight days. He didn't see a human being. On retreat. Jonah came out with that raw fire. 40 days. He finished the charge. Ran through the city. The king, everything fasted. Babies did what? Fasted. That's what the Bible says. Everything fasted. Now God forgave. He said, "From the greatest to the least of them." Anyways, God forgave them. And then Jonah, a tree grew in how many days? How many days did it take? Tree grew overnight. A tree grew for Jonah to rest. H. Jonah was not shocked. Was just happy. All right. Nice. And what was he doing there? He was watching. So, he can see how the fire came and burnt down the seat. His own prophecy didn't come to pass. And then Jonah was sad. And then he made a statement that showed us that he knew God. Sir, he said, "Did I not know that You are a merciful God? After I have finished preaching, You will now go and forgive them when they have repented? It will not be as if I am a false prophet." Jonah sinned, yes or no? God forgave him, yes or no? Another person sinned, yes or no? Jonah did not want God to forgive them, yes or no? That's the reason for pain, so that you can start to wear people's shoes. Ah, someone didn't hear what I just said. And there's an understanding that you begin to have when you, when you have gone through it. Even some of you that went astray and then came back, God allowed you so you can learn. Some of you were dealing with high doses of self-righteousness. I was like that before too. I could not understand why people fall. What is wrong with you? As I'm preaching the holiness, I broke a chair in Chapel of Resurrection from anger. Preaching hunger. What is wrong with you? Just six hours. By the time life did me, and I was looking at my prayer life like this, my prayer life was looking at me, come, come, YouTube, come, come. I was looking for strength. I couldn't find strength. I was tired of everything. Then I now understood what it means to go through it. So, now I can understand if somebody is saying, "I want to pray, I can't pray." I can relate now, and I know what it means to sit down. You're now, it's now time for retreat, or you shut down. It's only you now and God, and you kept the Bible, you couldn't open it. Oh, I don't know if it happened to anybody here before. It has happened to you before, and you couldn't open the Bible. If I've not experienced it, I will just come and just tell you, you know what the problem is? I just listen. You're serious. But now I know that truly, a person can be under attack, and you need another man to help you. Yes. Paul said, "Pray for us." I thought you are mighty in utterance. Or Paul, he said, "Pray to us that utterance be given, so we will say it as we ought to say it." Ah, so if we don't pray for you, you go and be saying rubbish. As you go through, you begin to experience your humanity, and it will humble you. You realize that if Christ does not help you, you are no less than. Are you hearing what I'm saying? This your flesh is a murderer. David didn't believe it. That it was not just a murderer, it was an adulterer. He was a manipulator. After sleeping with somebody's wife, you now called the person to come and sleep with his wife. When you found out the wife was pregnant, what a wise man. The person didn't sleep with his wife because he honored you and honored his men, his friends who are on the field. My guys are fighting the walls of God, and I'm busy having sex with my wife. No. See the man God blessed David with. And that's the man whose wife David slept with. I know David had men. Oh, that's another salon for another day. May God bless you with the gift of men. Yeah. Every David here, I'm telling you, it's a blessing. It follows that ordination too. Men, they'll be joining them to you. Strong men. No men that can fight you and win you. They will kneel down and say, "Your God is our God. Anything you say, we're doing." Do you know that they were not normal people? He, Golad. See the kind of giants these guys were killing. Even in his old age, when he couldn't fight anymore, they were saving him from giants until they told him, "Go and rest. We don't need you." It was not dishonor. "We don't need you." That's the goal of leadership, right? To not be needed. Not African leadership. African. The whole goal of the structure is so that we always be what? Needed. You must need me. There must be something you don't know. Glory to God. Forever. It's tendencies like that God deals with when He takes you through process. H. Look at David finally. Sense the man knowing that there is a place this man cannot fight and and and win. Take him to that place where this battle is hottest, then redraw. Let him be fighting. See the heart. And truly, the man [Music] died. And then he now took the wife, brought the wife into the house, and continued like nothing happened. We don't know how many months that lasted, but months passed. David did not say anything to God about it until Nathan the prophet came. And that was a wise prophet. He did not go straight and say, "You have sinned. You have fallen short of the glory of God. Thunder will fire you." Just in case he's dealing with, if Saul, you know what will happen next. One quickly to the parable. There was a man, he had a sheep. I, what kind of parable did he share? And then when he took his friends, he took the one of his neighbor who had. Do you [Music] remember? And David stood up. "Where is the man? Let's waste him." Said, "Oh King, respectfully speaking, sir, you are that man." David repented at the end of the day. Repent. Did you hear what I just said? Did you see him do it again? And so, repent means turn away. Not say "I'm sorry." I'll say that one more time. Repentance does not mean say "I'm sorry." Repentance means to what? To turn away. So, you don't keep turning away and then turning back to it. You see what you're doing? That's confusion. When you turn away, you turn away. That's what makes it different from many of us. Of course, it didn't go without some few lashes that helped him to never forget in his life. God said, "If you wanted more wives, I would have given you." That's what God said. "I gave you wives. That's where I saw that, ah, God did not have a problem. Where did all this problem come from?" Ah, God told David, "If you needed more, I would have given you more." For the New Testament. [Applause] It's only one Hallelujah to Jesus. So, pain will reveal the things that are in our heart. It will reveal what is in your heart. It will reveal what is in your heart. Are we together? Pain will save you from greater pain. Genesis chapter 50:20. [Music] Are we together? One to go. So, we can choose between Joseph chilling in his house, no issue, grow up to be a full-grown man and have wife, have children, and we avoid that pain, and it will be happy for him, right? And guess what will happen to the entire family when the famine hits? What will happen to them? Both Joseph and his, what? And his house, or his wife, or wives, and his children, all of them, the entire nation of Jacob. What will happen to them? They will all die. Which story is sweeter? Which one is sweeter? Now, which one is sweeter? Which one is better? The first one, right? Eh. As long as I'm not Joseph, right? That's a challenge. Everybody knows common sense will tell you that it is okay for Joseph to go through what he went through if at the end of the day, many lives will be saved by his process. Is that correct? One on. They now say, "Who wants to be Joseph here? Let us start the process." Because of time, all volunteers raise your hand to Jesus. I'm actually asking. I'm going to ask God to mark their faces. All those who want to pass through so that many lives can be saved. Raise your hand. That's like 20% of the hall. After three weeks of this series. So, nobody is excited about pain, but everybody likes the result at the end, right? Everybody likes to be prime minister, right? Right. Everybody likes to marry the daughter of Pharaoh, right? Or the son of Pharaoh, and be lord over the entire Egypt. But it was a process that birthed that result. Alignment is the last one. Alignment is what is going to also produce in your life. 1 Samuel chapter 30:1-8. Have callings on your life. Who are currently in seasons you cannot explain because of those callings that are on your life? The earlier you answer, the better for your life. If you are angry, go and talk to the father or mother who caused your problem because somebody said so. They have come for you, Madame. The earlier a word is enough for the wise. There are some stories I want to share in that regard, but I will not share even from my own household. The earlier you answer, the better for you. It got so bad for somebody I know. He saw himself in a dream in a firing squad. They were about to shoot [Music] him. Then those that are about to fire him ask him, "You will do? I be you will not do?" No kidding. The exact words in the physical. The person has already said, "I'm doing." In the dream, they were not convinced because he started making moves in the physical. So, you understand what I'm saying? Okay. So, they asked him, "You say you will do? I be you will not do?" He said, "I already said I will do." And then he woke up. I thought I said, "I will do." And the Holy Ghost said, "You are not doing like like you say you will do, and you will look for like you will start doing like you said you will do. You will do. You have said you will do. You will do. You will do." You see, "You will do." Will chop. Is somebody hearing what I'm saying? And what I'm not saying. If your parents covenanted your destiny, if you're not in alignment with what was written concerning your life, you trigger problems. Are you getting what I'm saying? Now, that's all I'm saying with this point. You trigger unnecessary problems. Location alignment, purpose alignment, you trigger issues. All right? Because that is their known way. They know us as men. That's their unknown. I'm speaking of the angels now. That's their unknown and successful, most successful way of getting us in shape. So, circumstances that are uncomfortable are crafted so that you can quickly fall in alignment. What happens to many of us is when those issues happen, you now go and retreat. On that retreat, you now hear them saying things that you're not praying about. You understand what I'm saying? AB. Those I'm talking to should they understand what I'm saying? And some people, they not open their book yet, so what I'm saying does not make any sense. When you open your book, page one, then you can start understanding what I'm saying. Once you're not in alignment with your books, you will start noticing, you know, things that are triggered by lack of alignment. If you're in the wrong location, some of you will notice unnecessary tension. That is not Satan. It's time for you to leave that place. Since you don't want to hear. If you are hearing, say, "I'm hearing." "I'm hearing." All has been well. All has been beautiful. You didn't do anything wrong. You are the best result bringer in the company. But your time is up. Oh, go. They've shown you in the dream. They've shown you in the physical confirmation. They've told you. Have been writing it down in your journal. And then one day, the boss that has loved you, no issues, will just hear somebody will accuse you of something. You start thinking, "Is Satan?" The more you are praying, you are adding more power so the angels can work. You are foiling it. The more you are praying, the more the fire is. Can't you hear? Your time is up. Move to your next chapter. They are expecting you to have started the company you are working for by now. We're still working. We're still working. We're still working. Happy working. At least you're paying tithe. Ah, all is well. Meanwhile, your tithe should be everybody's salary put together should be your own tithe. You didn't hear what I just said? Yes, sir. Your company has 20 workers, all paid 500,000 Naira each. 500, 20. H. H. And that's your tithe. And the prayers of your parents are waiting to come to pass. And so, they, they decide, "Let's put her through some little pain, just a little discomfort." So, something will get missing, and they will accuse you, and you will cry to God. Then you go on retreat, seven days straight, speaking it tongue. You don't know why the thought came.
For you to go on seven days just because of something I went missing is because that's where they waiting for you at the last time you charge. Even they don't know again you charge. Climb to where they located and they start talking about your destiny and start giving you instructions for something mighty and massive. Before you know it, even your boss, your CEO, is now part of your staff. If he loved your someone didn't hear what I just said. And that's what happens. One little pain that will help you. But some of us are very stubble. Is that will be limping like this, fighting all the troubles? I know God will fight for me. I will hold like Jacob. Supp, they will fight the angel all night. Meanwhile, you are the problem. What is your name? You are carrying deceiver everywhere, yet you are looking for destiny everywhere. Supplanter, your identity is still one thing, and yet you want destiny to answer to you. So some of this pain will deal with certain things that are in our hearts. It will reveal stuff in your heart. You'll get it resolved, and then destiny's door will open. Is somebody hear what I'm talking about?
So let's read now. It happened together. One to go. When David and his men came to Ziklag on the third day, the Amalekites had invaded the South and Ziklag attacked. Ziklag burned with fire and had taken captive the women and those who were there from small to great. They did not kill all or carry them away and went their way. Verse three. And verse four. And people, can you read this verse again out loud, everyone? And people. Upes. And they more. Can you give us in two other versions very fast, quickly together? Want to go. And were exhausted with weeping. Another version, they didn't stop until they were completely exhausted. Don't forget who David was. Don't forget who these men were. These were not random men. These were alpha males, like they call it. These were beasts. These people can hold you. You will know somebody held you. [Laughter] Now, they were so broken, so shattered, they said to cry. Verse five, everyone. I've been taken captive. Verse six. Let's go. One to [Music] go. Let's read another translation. Message translation. One to go. Now David was. And suddenly, David was in even worse trouble. There was talk among the men, bitter over the loss of their families, of stoning him. I was shocked. Every time I read this, I'm always interested in the word stoning. HH. These men are men of war. Their swords should be with them. But it seems to me that the first thing David taught them was his first ordination. The first grace and gift that David had was the gift of what? Stoning. And so in his lecture for the army, he must have begun with that teaching amongst other things he had learned across his journey of warfare. Warfare 101, how to throw a stone. And generally, Israel had a grace for what stoning is. Their ordination to as a nation. Any small thing, they stone him. Moses gave them that anointing. Are you getting what I'm saying? And David has done something very painful. You know why they are looking at him? Number one, he's a leader and he's responsible. Responsible to hear God before we go to war. You carried us away from our homes, and then we had these losses. So now David is to blame because if he had listened to God, they would not have left the house. Or maybe they would have taken half of them with them and left some people back at home to defend the city. But David carried all the men of war and left women and children on a journey we didn't hear God led him on. Is somebody following what I'm saying? Say so. He made a mistake. But the Bible says, David strengthened himself with trust in the Lord, in his God. It means this pain was an opportunity for him to learn something. Everybody here must learn. At the end of the day, if it's just you and the Holy Ghost, it is enough. If you didn't have a pastor, if you didn't have a mentor, if you didn't have a friend, if you didn't have parents, biological or people who you know are stewards over your life, if you had no one in this world, guess what? With the Holy Ghost, you are still enough. There was no one for him to confide in here. There was no one to encourage him, no mentor, no father, spiritual authority, nothing. In fact, all those he would confide in were now thinking of stoning him. But David did what? Encourage himself in the Lord. Where did he learn this one from? Of course, if we read across his life, you will see that it's not the first time David is going through something like this. Is that correct? Yeah. Even the one he was seeing as spiritual authority wanted him dead for so many years, right? He was running from pillar to post, away from his father-in-law to be. So David was used to family coming against him, used to authority coming against him, used to people that you could trust with your life wanting your life. And now a point came in his life where he could have crashed and just said, what is the point of all of this? Everything is gone. Everything is gone. Ah, but David had learned that there is life inside me. I can talk to him, and he will give me feedback now. And if God can still talk, there's hope. If you can still hear God, you're not lost anything. Oh, and so David encouraged himself. Verse seven. One, two, go. He ordered Abiathar, the priest, son of Ahimelech, "Bring me the ephod so I can consult God." This is what he should have done since, right? But it's never too late. Abiathar brought it to David. Uh-huh. Then David prayed to God. I like the fact that these kings were not waiting for, I mean, not David was not waiting for priests to do it. How many of you noticed that about David? That's another matter for another day. David does not wait for anybody to help him talk to God. Hi. David used to hear God himself. Said, "Bring me, and let me talk to him." Prayed, "Shall I go after these raiders? Can I catch them?" The answer came, "Go after them. Yes, you will catch them. Yes, you will make the rescue." Verse nine. David went, he and the 600 men with him. They arrived at the brook, but saw where some of them dropped out. You just read on, you see that eventually he got, got everything back. He got all his children, all the wives, all that was lost was restored. Is that correct? The next time he feels like going to war, guess what David will do? Is somebody hear what I'm saying? So when you see somebody who is always talking to God, huh, it's always, every time God, every time God, if you check, sometimes one pain 13 years ago taught him that God is number one. Is somebody following what I'm saying? So to avoid a greater disaster from taking place in future, God might allow a couple of discomforting, you know, discomfort here and there so you can learn early enough. And so that when worst things happen, that's not the time you start learning. God forbid. I declare over you, when it truly matters, you will not fail. Answer me now, say amen. Any child that learns in nursery school to read his book, has the person lost anything? Answer me. Oh, you fail. No exam. Have you failed any exam? I can confidently tell the child, "Fail." Ah, but if I fail, I say, "May you fail, fail, fail. You are fine." No. Ah, but I fail. I say, "You are fine. Keep failing. It's all right." But please, by all means, try not to fail JAMB, because now every failure is costing you one year of your life, right? Yes, sir. So you understand failure is different from. There are certain things you experience now that really, you are the one who is exaggerating it. It really will not count in destiny. Learn the lesson, keep moving. Is that all right? Somebody broke your heart. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. You didn't do that. Relax. Stand up. Keep moving. All right. Broken relationship is better than broken marriage. Are you getting what I say? Don't need to worry yourself. It's okay. Make the choice now. Okay. Nobody will treat me like this. Simple. Some of you are with wrong people and you think it's the end of your life. If you guys break up, because you already wear the same clothes. Someone didn't understand what I just said. Now you're already dressing with ankle. Everybody already knows us together from 100 level to 300 level. How will it look like? It will not look like anything. Go and tear those clothes. So it as a seat to somebody else. Exaggerating things. Relationship. Stop that. If we ask the age now, you won't believe it. Is somebody following what I'm saying? Don't sit there and be thinking, "Pastor does not understand. What he doesn't even understand what he's saying." Does he know how many years? Seven years is less than 40 years old, Madame. If you know that you are with a devil, break up yesterday night. Did you hear what I said? Because I just had one this morning again. This person is a member of this church with this number of warning signs coming from your to-be husband. Okay. It is where with your soul. Ah, okay. Oh, so certain pains are to prevent you from future pain. All right. Yeah. So please, sometimes it's good to stop and thank God for all the pain that God allowed you to pass through because it was for your own good. If you look at the life of David and Solomon, who had rest, who had war in his life? Come on, come on, come on, come on, come on. Okay, let me ask you, whose life will you rather have? David's life or Solomon's life? Someone say soft lives. 1 Chronicles 22:9. God, God, God decreed it over the life of Solomon. 1 Chronicles 2:9. Say, "Your son shall be." Not that he will have rest. It shall be a man of rest. Everybody. One to go. Uh-huh. What's happening? What's happening? What's happening? Out loud. Come on. One, two, go. And enemies. All see the emphasis. Give us NKJV. NKJV. NKJV. NKJV. Together. One to go. Behold, a son shall be born to you who shall be a man of rest, and I will give him rest from all his enemies all around. His name shall be Solomon, for I will give him peace and quietness to Israel in his days. It's a man of rest. A man who enjoys soft life to the end. Is your of soft life? Believe me, we don't have time today to talk about Solo. Solo is a chairman of soft life for life. There's nothing anyone in this life can try to do. You will. We still learn from who? Solomon on what soft life. That means Solomon did not bring out his hand like this to fight any war. No stress. He didn't like songs like I like fight. I like I. And he can't even understand what we are saying. It's David that understands. David's life started with war. Once they pour that oil like this, it was war. It drove him to war and drove war to him. I don't know how to describe what I'm telling you. David's anointing took him to where and took war to who? To him. When he say he wants to rest, what will come and meet him? K. Between David and Solomon, who knew God more? Between David and Solomon, who will God stand up for? David. Between David and Solomon, who pleased God more? David. Between David and Solomon, who did God boast of? David. Between David, David and Solomon, are you following what I'm saying? Between David and Solomon, whose walk with Jesus will you rather? Huh? Between David and Solomon, whose personality do you prefer? I noticed the women are not talking again because you know that Solomon will take care of you. What is it in this life? Pastor, relax. Know every time fight, fight, fight. Because David, you might not see your husband for six months. He's fighting. Solomon is in the house. He's writing poems for you. Where will David have time to be writing your two breasts are like the nothing like that? But Solomon has that time. He has time to see that the, how did he even put it? Songs of Solomon. It said they're like towers. Are some amazing scriptures we don't quote in church, but it's inside your Bible. Hallelujah to Jesus. David fought about eight or nine major battles. Some of those battles will last weeks, months. Just the one that he didn't, I'm not even ascended the throne. The one of Goliath, 40 days. Goliath used to threaten them. So they will be camped like that. Sometimes the nation will besiege a city and they will wait it out so that every food supply in the city will shut down. So when they say eight, nine major battles, that's a lot of time of fighting. But you see that from pillar to post, David's walk with God was forged by this warfare. Is somebody hearing what I'm talking about? From place to place, you see him get on his knees. That you was my hiding place. [Laughter] That's where all those things that you are shouting from the book of Psalms, that's where it came from. It came from pain. Many are there that rise up against me. Many of day that say of my soul, there is no help for him in God. But thou, oh Lord, I shield for me, my glory, you lift up my head. I cried to the Lord. All over, you find it. I cry, I cry, I cried, I cried, I cried. There was something to cry about all the time. And I love rest. By the grace of God, everybody likes rest. But I will tell you as it is, if there's anyone who will have a vital walk with Jesus, it is one whose work has been tested. Not just in rest, because that's also a test. You know, test. Rest is a test too. Yeah, that many people fail. Some people only know how to pray when there's a problem. And so when they travel abroad, their prayer life disappears. They didn't have the guts to say they are struggling with prayer in Nigeria because they were closer to the powers of their father's house. Were close by. They are arm's length. Once they travel and it seemed like all problems disappear from their lives, they now struggling, struggling. Pastor, pastor, it's difficult. It's this country is hard. You say, "What hard?" So now the hardness is taxes and so many hours of work. Say, "Yeah." Come back. Since it's hard, why have you not come back? You prefer that hardness, right? Hallelujah. So you prefer David to Solomon, obviously, because one was a man of complete rest, meaning no inconvenience, no stress, and so on and so forth. While somebody else was a man of warfare. And remember, as Christians, the Bible likens us to soldiers. Is that correct? Is that correct? And so we are not soldiers that never go to war. We are called soldiers because we are in a what? Warfare. So embrace it. Warfare is inconvenience. Is that correct? Soldiers are people that are trained for what? Inconvenience. How can you be a soldier that lies a soft life? I don't want to say when you are not, but let's continue. How can you be that prefers soft life? You don't have an option as a believer. We came here for war. The fact that you are under convenience shows that you are not living a fully Christian life. Life, I am telling you. The days are coming when the warfare will be hard. Yes. How can we all be believers, hungry for God, passionate about winning souls, and there's no warfare? Is that not suspicious? Our lives are an impact, a shining light, but there's no warfare. Come on. It says, "Scal through Christianity, you will be fought back." Did you hear what I just said? And while we are, while we are growing towards that, I will tell you in advance, through Christianity, we experience what? Fight backs, push backs. I don't need to ask you, how many of you, when last did you walk up to a Muslim, not a Christian who is not in church, when last did you walk up to someone you know needs salvation and say, "You need to be saved"? You've done that this year? Raise your hand. You know this person is a Muslim. The person needs salvation. You don't have. Say, raise your hand. Raise it high. Raise, raise it high. Put your hand down. That's about maybe 10% of this. You don't need to be looking around for those who are saved or not saved. You know them. But the fact that you are not walking close to them is because you believe one day, as you are praying, the Lord will touch their heart, they will come to church to come and be saved. This convenience Christianity is why there's no persecution. Did you hear what I just said? It's a table we just leave for this Sunday. One Sunday when we have time, we'll break it, shake it, and break it, because that's why our Christianity is not under any threat because it's a convenience-based what? Christianity. It's a singing in church Christianity. The day we decide that is Operation Save Souls, everybody must be saved. Watch out. There will be warfare. Did somebody hear what I just said? Just like that. So you decide you can go through life with no impact. There will be no warfare. HH. Satan will be fine with you. Give yourself high five. Ah, child. It's my G. There are Christians like that. My G. But once you like war, you like fight, you don't like normal, normal. Get ready for what? Go. Ready for warfare. They will know your name. They will know your son's name. They will know your address. They will know everything about you. They will open a fire for for you. Hallelujah to Jesus. How will this work that is happening in your heart to be accomplished? Number one, there will be a deepened. Remember where we coming from? I said Christ in intensity. What else? Christ in humility. What else? In alignment. All these are just spoken scantily, scantily, scantily because of time. Christ in largess and beauty of heart. We don't have time to enter into that. Christ in development of character. And then the fact that there will be greater pain that you'll be saved from by this current pain. Now, how does this happen? Very quickly. Let's try and finish this. Number one, I said this already in passing. I said the contents of your heart to be reviewed by the pain or by the inconvenience. And I wrote here, hope deferred. The scripture says makes the heart sick. But I'll say that it's not necessarily making your heart sick. It's revealing the sickness that was already where? In the heart. Just like, what example can I give? If you put yourself under certain levels of stress, the plasmodium that was already inside the body can now, you understand what I'm talking about? Okay, let me explain. Somebody already had malaria in the body. But as long as you are resting well and you're eating fine, it might not show up, right? But once you put yourself under some kind of physical stress or duress, what happens now is that your body is now more vulnerable. Are you following what I'm saying? And then something that was already within. Are you getting what I'm saying? So what happens to many people is that this season or period of inconvenience reveals what's in their heart. I wrote here, for example, when we say, "Give, and it shall be given unto you." Somebody gave, and then it was not given unto them. The person is now offended because the one, the person read the scripture, it says, "Shaking together, running over, shall men give unto your bosom." And then you are now angry. It means that giving was not your motive. What was your motive? Receiving. So God might just wait for an extra one week to see, okay, he's not offended. Wait for an extra one week again. He pushes it. Extra one week again. The person is still not offended. He's still giving. He's still excited. He's still happy. He's still happy. See, happy. I give up. Push it for an extra one month. You reach one month. The person is now, I judge you faithful. God, check your phone for every waiting for the thing to come back. Does not come back one month after. You are faithful. Te. Ah, by the next Sunday service, is he just looking? How do I tell pastor to send me change from the money I sent four Sunday ago? Is the one who said, "Give, it shall be given." I gave. It has not been given. I'm just asking. I'm not asking for for everything. Just change. Hallelujah to Jesus. So it means that your heart was not exactly excited about Kingdom project, Kingdom advancement, Kingdom progress, Kingdom story. At the end of it all, it was that part where the pastor said, "And as you give, guess what will happen again?" One of our sisters here came and gave, uh, towards the bus retreat. And as they give, the next week, she had been waiting for something for the past seven years, and it arrived. Glory. See, we count Kingdom advancement. Give us offering. Bus offering. Let us quickly advance the kingdom. But somewhere in your heart, it's shifted. Breakthrough. I ascend. I assess. That's that's what you are after. Is somebody getting what I'm saying? So sometimes delay, silence, inconvenience. Remember, is I said that last week Sunday, that's one I didn't want to talk about. But delay is one of the inconveniences that we pass through. And then our hearts are revealed, and we now know what's inside. Exodus 13:17-22. We won't read it because of time, but you can just write that you see that God passed the Israelites through this same test as well so he can see what's in their heart. Once they arrive in the wilderness, Omor. My God. Okay, let's just read this one together. One to go. Pass. When Pharaoh had let the people go, that God did not lead them by the way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near. But God said, "Lest perhaps people change their minds when they see war and then return to." That means Egypt could still be in their hearts. And when they see problem, they will carry themselves. Not Pharaoh, you understand what I'm saying? Children, come back. Where are we going to? We're crossing the Red Sea. E, with who? Moses. We, we, the way he crossed us out, he will cross us back inside. We're going back to Egypt. How about the, where inside bondage? There, we will figure it out. It will show us in the heart. Next verse. Next verse. Next verse. Next verse. Verse 18. So God led people around the way of the wilderness of the Red Sea. And is went up otherly ranks out of Egypt. 19, 20. I'm looking for something. 21, 22. Oh, this is not the scripture. There's one I'm looking for. I don't have time today. We just, we'll just keep going. So you find that when God, I mean, if you even look at the story of the Israelites when they enter the wilderness, you find that just less than one week, they were talking about Egypt. Before two weeks, one month was over, they started talking about cucumber, onions, the garlic. They forgot everything. The 10 plagues God did. They forgot the fact that it's the Egyptians that they even want to run back to. They've wiped out the entire army with Pharaoh. They forgot everything. And then their hearts began to show. The Bible says that they tested God 10 times. He said, "These ones who have tested me this 10 times, he said none of them is entering inside this promised land." Said, "These ones who saw my acts and have rejected me like this." Sometimes they would even start negotiating. Stony Moses, do you remember? Yeah. One time God told Moses, "Shift. I want to, I want to waste my children. I want to kill all of them." Moses had to say, "Say it again. Think of what you are saying. You can't kill them. What will the Egyptians say that you took them out and you were not able to bring them?" God did not send those ones. I'm killing them. Say, "Let them say what they want to say. These people, they are finished today." That's how much they pained. You know, he's not God, right? It's the angel that that was assigned to them. I'm finishing them. What will you take? God will sort it out today. I'm wiping out Jacob's seed. That's how pained this angel was. Then Moses now went a step further and said, "Blot my name." Ah, remove my name from the. And to show you that the people Moses led were not worthy of him, the day Moses was told, "You are not entering," not a single one of them raised their voice to pray for Moses. Not one said, "Lord, but look at the sacrifice this leader has made for us. We can't enter without him. He brought us out. We're not entering without him. No, Lord. At least fake it. Fake tears." Oh, then said, "Ah, I saw a be. I so he just die like that." I'm sure that did Moses know why God gave up on them? Those were not people that you should be happy to bring it to a promised land. Imagine them forgetting God inside the wilderness. What would they do inside the promised land? Somebody advise God. Somebody answer me. Inside the wilderness, they've turned against God how many times? When they now reach the promised land, like how many times do you think they will turn against? We already know what they will do, right? So you see why God moves on from certain persons. He said, "Except Joshua and Caleb, if I have done this much for you and you still doubt my capacity, forget it. You're not entering." I pray for somebody here that you will not, you will not, you will not fail God. God will not move on from you in Jesus name. And finally, how does this happen? It happens by a deepened and vulnerable, a deepened, vulnerable, and intense prayer life. I say that again. Remember where we're coming from, right? And so we're dealing with how this Christ formation happens. Now, the first one is by what? Your heart to be revealed to you. You'll see what you are. And then the next one is that in that time of pain, usually your fellowship with God. And these things are personal experiences. I have, I have personal experiences, you know, in my journey of walking with Jesus to prove these things I'm saying. It's not likely somebody who is going through pain will be praying unintentionally. That statement I'm always making, "Be intentional, be intentional," is because somebody, somebody, somebody's not going through pain. Understand what I just said, okay? If you are going through it, every of your prayer that season is intentional. Yes. Enough. I couldn't pray unintentionally. You just pray small, you started crying. Understand what I'm talking about. And people were thinking I was worshiping because I was intimate with Jesus. I was crying in leading worship because I was intimidated. Didn't know I was crying from pain. So every worship, every prayer, everything was intentional. I can still remember those times in the mornings. I was lying down on the bed one day, crying of guy hall, and I was saying, "Lord Jesus, I was singing this song, Lead Me to the Cross where your love pours out." No, that's the second, third. [Music] Down. Some can never know it. Never to. You still remember. He said, "I was singing it every day. You don't know what I was going through." Your [Music] [Music] God. Stop, stop, please. K. You know, those songs have become like altars. HH. Not altars, what's the word? It's like it's like memorials or something like that. As you're playing it now, I was traveling back to the exact emotions, the way I felt. Ah, that's where intimacy was built. For Lores, oh, I couldn't pray and not me. It's a normal song. Any of you can just sing right now. But some of you know that that season and you know the song that took you from beginning out of the season. It was your stay. Is somebody getting what I'm talking about? And forever and ever, once you hear it, ah, that's a reason why you didn't kill yourself. That song understands what I'm talking about. In this place, I still remember hearing that song. All right. And as I was hearing it, I feel the power of God. Okay. I command and every weight of weariness to break over someone's life here now. Grab your neighbor's hand and shout that amen like thunder. Shouting like thunder. W. Raise a [Applause] shout. W. Oh, child. Please. Learn that song. We'll do it. We'll do it. We just do it when we do it. Beautiful song. How many of you know this song? So what's happening? Should we do it? Media people, help us. Even me, I don't remember all the lyrics. I just remember, "Lead me to the cross where your love." Knees, Lord, and lay me. Bring me to my knees, Lord, and lay me down. Read me of myself. I belong to you only. Me. Lead me to the cross and I'll been shouting to your, to your [Music] son, to your side. Oh, oh, my God. To your [Music] son. I know why. Experientially, I know why God. God will be able to boast about his relationship with a man. And if you, if you, if you play around it, you can get a feedback. It doesn't play with the intimate. That season, I understood many things. Like the scripture says, "He is close to the brokenhearted." It's not because he was not close before, but now you are vulnerable. Did you hear what I just said? Yes. I say that again. When scripture says, "He is near to the brokenhearted." Have you been in that place where it's as if you ask for a confirmation just to know if he loves you? And immediately, p, p, p, three persons just reach out and just say, "God said I should tell you he loves you." God, I should tell he loves you. Another person sends you 50k. God said I should send it to you that he loves you. Since, since, since you have been asking him to confirm his love, you reached that point where it seems like you are so. I now learned why don't I just remain in that point? How did somebody hear what I just said? Just remain there, broken and vulnerable, and you always have that access. He's not opening and closing the door. We are the ones who are becoming mature. Is somebody getting what I'm talking about? That's the problem. So right there, I was in a vulnerable point. Anything he asked me to do, I would do it. He would tell me to greet cleaners, I will greet them, and they'll be wondering why I'm greeting them because nobody's greeting them. "Good afternoon, my well done for all that you are doing. God bless you." The woman will look at me. I'll go and pick up debt and help her put inside the basket. Anything he said I should do, I was doing it because I needed him. I needed him to answer my prayer. Very interesting season. And one day, as I was lying down listening to this song, that's why I was sharing it. I asked him, "Lord, is there anything you want me to do that I've not done? Is there anything? Is there anything I have not done? Is there anything you want from me?" He said, "Go downstairs and apologize to the woman in Cy Hall selling bread and egg." Which woman selling bread and egg? What happened? I said, "A couple of days back, you guys had a bit of a dense conversation, and yes, you walked away, but that was not." I said, "All right, I understood what he was saying." Because we had a tense, a brief tense conversation on price of something. I don't remember now. One of those things, right? And I'm, I walked away. I didn't find, I didn't shout. I walked away maturely, but angrily. Are you getting what I'm saying? No problem. It's okay. It's okay. It's okay. It's okay. And I left. He said I should go back and apologize for that. I said, "Like she's the one that was wrong." He said, "Yes, you apologize." All right, no problem. So I went and I told her, "Ma, just want to say I'm sorry for the other day." Like, I couldn't even explain the offense because I, she's the one who offended me. That's what I'm sorry. I'm sorry for, for the way I was, I was not happy, and the way I, the way I walked away." I said, "Eh, that was a reply." Eh, I said, "Lead Me To the Cross where your." Went back upstairs and was wondering, what did God achieve with this? Now, I thought maybe she should get saved or should be sorry or should we cry. It didn't turn out the way I was expecting. She now emulated me more for what she was wrong in doing. Oh, I didn't know it was me they were working on. Jesus prayed his most powerful prayer in a most tumultuous season of his life. We have read it here. We have taught this here already. The Bible says he told three to walk by him, to follow him, and then he told them, he said, "My soul is exceedingly sorrowful." One division said, one version said, "Um, I am depressed." I said, "Jesus, who was depressed?" The differentiation can do very interesting things. One said, "I'm sorrowful unto death. I'm feeling distressed. What I'm feeling now, there are no words. Please pray for me." All of them complete. They slept. He was lonely. If he was not sure that day, he found out that these three that I'm always asking to follow me everywhere, that I thought can carry my burden, they cannot. They slept on him. He prayed. Carry the whole weight. I believe that's why he had to carry that much weight in prayer. Maybe if they had supported him, the burden would not be that much. You'd have shared it, right? But Jesus prayed until his strength couldn't take it anymore. An angel came, strengthened him. The Bible says he prayed all the more. So much power was generated from his most, most painful season. How do we know he finished that prayer? He was so charged. Look at this. Prayed, "Oh, my Father, if it's possible, let this cup pass for me. Nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will." He was so charged with power that as he came out, and they came to pick him up, "Are you Jesus?" "I am." Boom! Energy votes hit all of them. They fell on the ground. He had to step it down so they can arrest him. Is somebody hear what I'm saying? He had to step down the energy level so that they can hold his hand and take him. It took power to die. Is somebody here? I just said it. It took so much power to die. At the end of the day, that pain brought us the greatest blessing. Is that correct? Thank God for the pain Jesus went through. Today, a greater pain was avoided. Imagine all of us going to hellfire because Jesus did not die. But today, every single one of us listening to me is going. Yes, sir. She's sure that's why she's shouting it. I'll say it again. Every single one of us listening to me is going. Who are you going to? In fact, many of us who already know where are we currently? Somebody went through all that pain so that you can rejoice today. Rise on your feet everywhere. Today is Thanksgiving. We're going to thank him for accepting the [Music] pain. And many of you are going to be baptized with strength to accept the inconvenience that your destiny is going to be requiring of you. Lift your voice and say, "Father, I can't hear you out loud. Father, thank you for embracing pain for my sake." You understand that? Lift your voice and lift your hands and thank him all over this place. Thank you, Jesus, for embracing pain for my sake. Thank you for accepting to die. Thank you for embracing poverty so I can be rich. Thank you for embracing inconvenience so I can have access. Thank you for embracing pain. [Music] To the cross. To your [Music] side. Lead me to your side. Lead me to your side. Daddy, lead me to your [Music] side. Lift your voice. Jesus. Lead me to your side. Lead me to your side. Come on. Lead me to your [Music] side. Come on. Lead me to your. It doesn't matter what comes my way. I'm happy as long as I am at your side. Whatever I find there, I'm content. Lead me to your. Lead me to your side of intimacy. Lead. Lead me to your [Music] side. Two more times. Shout it. Lead me to your side. Say, lead me to your. One more time. Me. [Music] Ah. Lead me to your side. Now you're going to pray one prayer. Father, lift your voice. Declare. Father. Father. Father. Father. Every process ordained for me. Every process ordained for me. Will not be in vain. Not in. If there's anybody who is most miserable, is the one who passes through the pain for nothing. Is the one who puts his hand inside something he should not and then pays for it and did not learn the lesson. And so he's fixing to fall for a bigger trap again in future. Anyone who should have learned a lesson here, by the grace of God, this week, the Lord will reemphasize and remind until you get it in the name of Jesus. I had an encounter on Tuesday. Say that was a confirmation of the word I gave concerning the month of May. Yeah. Had going to be trials, exams. That's what I saw. And I was asking the invigilator to please give me more time. Please give me more time. If I can have more time, I'll pass this exam. That please give me more time. And I woke out of it. It was so real. I said, "What is coming that I'm not prepared for?" And I know when God speaks like that, remember he's speaking to the entire church, right? To the angel of the church in Sadis, right? It's not necessarily talking to the general ofia. Are you getting what I'm talking about? It means this message applies to many people in the house. In fact, this time around, because I've had such a dream in time past, but this time around, the exam had started. And so I intentionally didn't go for the exam so that I won't have a carryover. So my prayer was that they will allow me to at least write it at the covenant time. They can just give me one extra week. Ah, no problem. So I don't know what it is that somebody here needs to prepare for that is already getting very late for. I want you to please pray this next prayer very desperately. And I believe the angels of God will start to orchestrate circumstances that will prepare you for life's exam. Is somebody getting what I'm saying? Lift your voice out loud and declare, "Father, in the name of Jesus." Name of Jesus. Every process ordained for my shift. Shift. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Wow. Some of you even triggered those processes by your prayer. You told God, "I don't want to experience what my parents experienced." That prayer triggered that process. You went through it and did not learn. You didn't learn what they ordained it for. Lift your voice one more time. Say, "Father, every inconvenience that you permitted for my good, for my." I receive the benefits. Lift your voice and ask in the name of Jesus. I receive the harvest of understanding. Why will I go through those things for nothing? Why will I pass through for nothing? [Music] It is to the end that I become wiser, that I avoid greater problems and inconveniences that would have crashed me and my family. Lift your voice. Ask in the next one week to one month. Every understanding I should have had as a result of the pains I have passed through, father, I come into it now. Remind me of the things I have gone through. Remind me of the lessons I should have paid attention to. Refresh my memory, Holy Spirit. Prepare me for life's exam. That's what I am seeing. Somebody here needs to cry to God even louder, louder, and more desperately. When the exam day comes, I will not fail. When the exam day comes, I will not fail. Lift it [Music] up. Lift it up. [Music] One more minute. Lift your voice. If you fail in the day of adversity, your strength is small. Every inconvenience ordained to strengthen me, to prepare me for the evil day. I receive benefits. I enter into the understandings and the formations. I will not fail when it is necessary. I will not fail. What is most [Music] important? When life's exam comes, that's not the day I will fall. I am prepared. [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] I'm going to give a. I'm going to try my best to give a better understanding to the prayer point. I don't think you know how important it is. As Pastor was speaking, what was just radiating my spirit are people that have been revolving in a circle and they have just been rotating, rotating, rotating. And what you don't understand is before you can move on to the next phase, you will be tested. The exam would come. And we have so many prayer warriors that because the fruits are not fully formed in them, they keep falling, they keep failing. And because they keep failing, and God loves you, he brings the exam again. But then you misunderstand the root of what you are facing. You think it's the enemy. You attack it wrongly, and then you fail. And then because he loves you, he brings it again and again and again. And then they are waiting for you to just finally pass the first chapter of your book. But time is going. And because he's a loving God that will not take you to where you're not prepared, he will bring the exam again and again and again. And that's why you're going to pray. Because I'm seeing so many people that have been waiting and they are ignorant of this. You are going to scream and shout and pray that in the name of Jesus, you will not by yourself stagnate yourself. Because I always say something, that the devil has no power over you. He uses you against yourself. So you're going to pray right now that I see and I do what I must do for my family, for my future, for my territory. Lift your voice and pray like your life depends on it because it does. Because at the end of the day, you will, you will be called to account for the time that you wasted on this earth. And if all you've used the time that the Lord has given you to do is to go in cycles and in cycles because of blindness and insensitivity, ah, may that not be your portion. Lift your voice and pray from the depth of your [Music] heart. We will not fail. Enough is enough of station. Enough is enough of red. There are some people that your family, they depending on you to just take the step, to just scale through the trials and the tribulations, scale through a little inconvenience. [Music] [Music] Father, the grace, grace, grace, grace, grace to identify exams and the grace to choose you other than our [Music] flesh. The grace to choose you. The grace to make the right decisions. Go ahead and pray because your future depends on this. Ah. [Music] I'm going to share a testimony that I became just like God. I'm going to share a testimony and I became just like God. Just like God. Just like God. Let me be just like God. Just like God. Just like God. I became just like God. God in the day. God in the noon. Let me be just like God. Just like God. Just like [Music] God. Just like God. Just like [Music] God. I'm going to share a testimony. No, the power of prayer is that it has the ability to go into the future and wait for you. And that is why this prayer is so important that at the end of the day, Christ to see himself walking to him. Because that is all. That is why we're doing what we're doing. To be just like him. To be fully formed in our souls. And this is why the exams are coming over and over again. So at the end of the day, we can stand [Music] boldly. It's a prayer that must be done every day. Every day. Every day. Every day. Can we just stretch our hands to pastor and just bless him from the depths of our heart? That in the name of Jesus, the anointing will never run dry. He receives the grace to stand firm. He receives the grace not to ever be weary. The Lord has blessed him with himself. Lord has blessed him. He's blessed his family with himself. He's watered with with the dew of heaven. And his mouth are the answers for the generation. The Lord has equipped him for this time and beyond. And his impact will be transgenerational, like Abraham. It will be said.
that he is blessed in everything in Jesus name, amen. Hallelujah. Please let's have our seats. Let's do our best to maintain the atmosphere and to not easily get carried away, but to always have at the back of our minds the consciousness of this particular message. And to know that in life, everything moves in cycles. Everything moves in cycles. There's morning, there's evening, there's morning again, there's evening, there's night, there's everything moves in cycles.
There was one time that I literally asked my mom a question, and I said, "Mommy, does, did this thing happen to you at this age?" She said, "Yes, it happened." And then, "With your second son, did this thing happen to him?" "Yes, it did." And I just smiled. I didn't, I didn't tell her why I was asking, but I asked because the exact same thing was happening as well. Life moves in cycles, and it's funny because, you know, that the devil has a way of, of abusing or corrupting, um, spiritual patterns. So he also brings his attacks in cycles as well. So when you see that there's a cycle in your family, you have to do what you need to do as well. But in Jesus name, at the time of reckoning, it will be said of us that we excel. In Jesus name, amen. And amen.
It's time for our tithe and offering. It's time for our tithe. So if you have paid your tithe in the course of the week, or you'd like to give your tithe this afternoon, please be on your feet. We pray that you will help them and you multiply this seed in the name of of Jesus. And because the latter will always be greater than the former, we pray that what they'll present next time will be much more than this. In Jesus' name, we pray. Father, that you entrust them with riches and wealth in the mighty name of Jesus. Pray that you use them as channels of blessings to nations and to their generations in the name of Jesus. Thank you, Father. In Jesus name, we prayed.
It's time for our offering. Ushers, please help us. [Music] It's time for our offering. So while the offering basket is going on, let's just take the song. We ascend the highest mountain. It's the mountain of the Lord. By the blood, by the word, by the spirit, we we ascend the highest. It is the mountain of the Lord. By the blood, by the word, by the spirit, we ascend the highest mountain. Highest mountain is the mountain. By the blood, by the word, by the spirit, we ascend the highest. Hallelujah. Are you refreshed? There's no shadow, you light up. Mountain, you climb up, coming after [Music] me. There's no wall, you w kick down, like you w Che down, coming after me. Hallelujah, praise God.
So as a church, we delight ourselves in the fact that this is the House of David, where men are been forged into the nature and character of God. It might not look pleasurable to our flesh, but we are certain that God is raising a great people from this place. Hallelujah. And so we want to celebrate officially again, those who are streaming online today. Um, let's celebrate them. Thank you for always being there. And we're privileged to have have people fellowshipping with us physically for the first time. If today is your first time of being at the Davidic Generation Church, if you don't mind, wave your hands to Jesus. Can you take it a step further and rise on your feet? If you don't mind, take it a step further and rise. Rise. If you're around them, please help them feel welcome. A church, help them feel welcome. A church. Holy Ghost, I'm so glad you are here. You are here. You are here. Please, let's welcome them. You are here. Yes, you are. Holy Ghost, Holy Ghost, you are, you are here. Holy Ghost, Holy Ghost. [Music] You are [Music] here. Hallelujah. Our ushers will wait on you. They want to drop slips with you. We'd like to know you better. We'd like to have you know us too. So at the close of service, we'd like to spend about two, three minutes with you. If you do not mind. And once again, this is the Davidic Generation Church, where the the least amongst us is as David, and the great amongst us is as God. We again say that at the Davidic Generation Church, growth by is by force. So if you're looking for a church where you would grow, then you have been brought to the right place. Once again, let's celebrate them as they have their seat. Praise the Lord.
As a church, we get a fast every two months. So six months in a year, we are involved in a fast. And to the glory of the Lord, in the month of May, we are fasting. So let's just quickly ask ourselves, ask your neighbor, have you been fasting for the last, for five days? What's your neighbor saying? Hallelujah. Some people are hearing it like breaking news. We are fasting. Oh, say to your neighbor, are fasting. Hallelujah. Praise the Lord. So couple with the fast, we are involved in a 24-hour prayer chain. And, um, that holds virtually on our Telegram platform. So in case you're hearing this for the first time and you're interested in being onboarded, okay, please meet with any of the ushers. They would ensure that you're safely onboarded. Okay. So any two hours of a day, starting from 6:00 a.m. tomorrow morning, okay, you can get involved in a prayer chain. And as you pray, the Lord would help you break through in Jesus name. Amen and amen. Good news. This Tuesday at 6:30 p.m., our midweek service resumes. Hallelujah. How many of us have missed M midweek service? Good. So, uh, we're starting again this week on Tuesday. Okay. We took a break because of the one month of worship that we had. And on behalf of the mother church and the planning committee of a one month of worship, we want to say thank you for being represented and representing the Davidic Generation Church at the 12 hours worship meeting that held on the 30th of April into the 1st of May. Hallelujah. We're excited that you came again. We want to say thank you to Zion Culture and, um, our representatives who went home and did as I said. Hallelujah. Um, I think the next one now will become Grand Patrons because we would win it if they organize another one. So why not allow us set the questions? So we are telling Madar to help us tell them to open a position for us. We won it the first time, we won it now, we will still win it again because all we do is win. Praise the Lord. Sisters Fellowship, um, if you belong to Joy and, um, Goodness family, all of us belong to it. But those in Sisters Fellowship, Joy and Goodness family, you have a meeting after service. So do well to be a part of it. Praise the Lord. Um, Foundation School would be starting a new batch on the 11th of May, that is this Saturday. Registration has been on for a bit and it will be closing on the 10th of May, that is this Friday. You, you are interested in being a part of a unit, you want to serve the Lord in this house, please get involved in the Foundation School. Get trained, get equipped. Okay. And it's done virtually. That's the interesting thing. It's done virtually on our Telegram. There's a Telegram platform for that. Okay. So get involved, get equipped to be able to be effective in the service. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. At the close of service, I'll be having a meeting with the Audi visual unit and with the choir. And so I want to encourage you to organize yourselves early. The earlier you gather yourselves, the faster the meeting would hold. With Jesus' joy, let's receive Pastor Laurence as we close the meeting.
Please close your eyes and open your two hands. Father, we thank you for today and we thank you for all that you have already begun to do in our hearts. I'm asking in the name of Jesus for every life under the sound of my voice. The last life exam you failed is the last you ever fail. Angels of this house, angels of this anointing, angels of this commission, I'm asking you to mark the faces of those who have consistently failed life exams. Those who have been stuck for one year, two years, three years on one instruction, on one matter or the other. And I decree in the name of Jesus, this month of May, I force you into a new season. [Applause] Let your water break now, now, now, now. I command your feet right now to break loose from those chains on them. Whatever was holding you down, let's you go or die. Whoever was resisting your pace, either let let you go or this month they go for [Applause] it. Let the anger right now of angels react and respond to those circumstances now. I provoke violence in your favor. You better shout the amen like thunder. You better shout the amen like thunder. I'm seeing some feedbacks that will happen in seven days. Some of them might not be very welcome, but it is necessary. I provoke violence in your [Music] [Applause] favor. Anyone that says you will not graduate, I just saw that now. Anyone that says you will not make progress, anyone using their power and authority against you, I provoke violence in your favor. Unless I'm not a prophet of God, they will call you to beg to let them go. I said they will call you to beg until you let them go. What I'm seeing is like the friends of Job coming to say, "Please pray for us." Until he prayed for them, until he prays for them. Anyone who has put himself in the place of God, frustrating your life and your destiny, in the next seven days, the table is turning in your favor. Let everything fight them until they are sorry in repentance. I command the road blood to leave your front now. I command short doors to swing open now. In your spirit, I infuse you with strength. Shout it three times. I am strengthened. Shout it again for the last [Music] time. And this strength will never sheep out of your life. Anything draining you of strength right now is shut down from your life. Anyone draining you of strength is uprooted from your life. Any circumstance draining of strength is resolved now. David, you are Str. Pursue, take over, recover all. Recover your lost time, recover your lost resources, your lost relationships. Every good thing you lost to these seasons of pain, recover as Job recovered, as David recovered, as even Jesus recovered. Recover in Jesus mighty name. We have prayed. Shout the loudest Hallelujah. Let's celebrate the first timers as they go. First timers, first timers, please pick what you came with. We are happy to have you. Pick what you came with and go to the back. Let's celebrate them. [Music] [Music] Keep going, keep going, keep going. First timers, let's keep clapping for them. So many of them. Just go to the back with what you came with to church. [Music] Thank you, Jesus. Amen. On a prophet and an evangelist listening to me, this week I ordained for you at least three encounters. [Applause] A that will bring clarity to your life and very crystal clear definition to your [Applause] assignment. On those persons I am talking to, let the hand of God perform these things I'm [Applause] saying. No more confusion over this one who is saying, "I wish I can understand the things I'm saying." I declare this week, receive [Applause] understanding. One of these persons, the Lord is guiding you to books and messages that will bring clarity to your life. Receive understanding. Come on, celebrate Jesus somebody. Thank you, Jesus. I want to appreciate us for last week Sunday, the wonderful live recording we had. I want to celebrate everyone who made the effort to wait behind. I think we did an extra, how many hours? About four extra hours, and we waited through. Can we celebrate every single one of them? By God's grace, very soon, those who are watching online might not understand what we are saying, but very soon, those sounds will bless the world in Jesus name. A grace in fellowship. Hold somebody's hand and declare, "Surely, surely goodness and mercy and mercy is following you all the days of your life. All the days of your life. You are God's house. You are God's house forever and ever. Forever and ever. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you now and forevermore. Amen. Amen. Come on, celebrate Jesus somebody.
