Let's talk about it. Reynolds County, Missouri. A pastor has been arrested after an individual came forward with a tip to investigators in Reynolds County. Now, the name of the church is the Ellington Apostolic Tabernacle. Its lead pastor was Seth Beecher. Now, Seth Beecher was charged, arrested, taken into custody on June 9th. But, what happened before this? According to the Sheriff's Department, they received a tip on June 4th. So, this investigation took about 5 days. They were able to gather evidence, they had probable cause, and they made the arrest.
Now, here's what they said. They said that a survivor that is under the age of 18 came forward to law enforcement and said and alleged that the pastor, Seth Beecher, had S mistreated them going all the way back to 2018, a period of 8 years. So, coming forward with this and investigation taking place, as I mentioned, they determined probable cause, they were able to retrieve evidence, and they arrested Seth Beecher on three counts of continued S mistreatment of a little.
Now, currently, the pastor is being held in custody, and as of right now, there have been no reports of any bond issued. He may, in fact, be in custody until his next court appearance, and we may find out about bond after that. Now, and I'm going to get to the church's statement in a second. The other thing that investigators made mention of here is that this is still active and ongoing. They will also be potentially interviewing other survivors of the pastor and witnesses connected to them. If they determine that anything else was going on that was inappropriate, then additional charges may be filed. Of course, the pastor is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law later on down the road.
Now, let me talk about the church's response. The Ellington Apostolic Tabernacle, they said this in a statement that they learned about the charges against their pastor, Seth Beecher, on June 9th, that he had been arrested, brought into custody. They are deeply grieved by the news here. They do not believe, now this is their statement, they do not believe that any of the individuals affected came from the church itself. But, as the investigation continues on, we'll find out for sure. They did say this as well, that immediately upon his arrest, they said that pastor Seth Beecher, he resigned his position, and also, he relinquished, surrendered his ministerial credentials. So, just like that, gave them up. The church is like, he's out of here.
So, will there be more? I mean, we we hope not. There should never be one, right? That should never be the case. But, as this investigation goes on, we will find out more. But, for now, that's the information that we have. I know this is deeply disappointing to the congregation to have to find out about this news of their pastor, Seth Beecher. And look, I will open up the comment section for anybody you have, you know, thoughts on this. Maybe you attend this church, Ellington Apostolic Tabernacle. You'd like to give your take.
I tell you guys all the time, continue to pray for all of the survivors of S's mistreatment. Pray for God's healing upon them. Pray for their restoration because this we've had many survivors that are part of our platform here. They've shared their stories. They will tell you that this really sticks with you for your entire life. Of course, God can come in, heal, make it easy. It's something that these survivors never forget though, and when it happens to them at such a young age and they have to carry that with them for so long. You know, credit this survivor for coming forward or for you know, if somebody helped them, however it worked out because sometimes these things and it always depends.
People always say, "Well, what takes them so long to come forward?" You have to understand how trauma affects them. And that there's a lot of shame that they carry, a lot of guilt. Manipulation is often involved here. Or they will fear that they're not going to be believed, that the pastor is too powerful. I mean, these are just a few things. So, you know, many of them if it happens at a young age, a lot don't even come forward until decades later because they're still trying to come to terms with what has happened to them. So, let's continue to pray for all of them. Again, your comments are welcome down below.

What I want to do right now, something I do on all these videos, let's end this video on hope. It's part of my ministry outreach. This is an alter call. Been doing this on my videos going back 10 years now. Whatever it is I'm talking about in the church, we always want to give people the opportunity to receive Christ as savior. That being said, anybody watching now, if you are someone who is not yet received Jesus as Lord and savior, you would like to do so, I want to lead you in a prayer to do that right now. This is a prayer you can do in your own words, but I will give you the steps you need to bring it before the Lord today.
First thing you want to do, right off the top, acknowledge you are a sinner. That is something that we all are. The good news is that God gave his only son, Jesus Christ, to die on that cross for the sins of all the world. As he died and rose again for you and me, he paid the cost. What you have to do is repent of your sin. That means to turn from sin, not just to say you're sorry and jump back to your old ways, but to actually turn from sin, which are those lifestyles, patterns, habits, behaviors, things in your life that go against the word of God. If you humbly go before the Lord though and ask him to forgive you, he'll wipe your sin away. Bible says he doesn't remember it any longer. And then, you invite Jesus into your life to be your Lord and Savior. When you do that, you become born again, a child of God. You will have eternal life. Trust me when I tell you there is no greater decision you will ever make than the one you do to give your life to Christ. And I pray you make that decision today. Again, more info down below.
Thank you all again so much for watching. I really do appreciate it. I'll be back with more. You guys take care. Please be safe out there. God bless each and every single one of you and I'll talk with you soon.
