Why People Aren't Dating

Think Before You Sleep42:21

Transcription

I'm going to hold your hand with an industrial paper towel when I tell you that your comments saying nose ring fairy are literally doing the opposite of what you think they are. I want to look this way. I want you to be able to look at me and see that I am a safe space and that I don't tolerate [ __ ] [ __ ].

It's about damn time. I've been saying for years that we should judge a book by its cover. I'm glad everyone's starting to get on board now because there are so many things you can tell about a person from superficial information. Like if they have purple hair, a nose ring, and tattoos that look uglier than what 12-year-olds draw on their desk at school, then they're probably not safe to be around.

I want you to look at me and know [ __ ] Donald Trump. [ __ ] men, honestly. And anybody who thinks any differently, honestly. If I'm not for you, good.

Holy [ __ ]. I think we've hit a new level of crazy eyes here. It's insane how many people will openly post a record of their red flags on social media to be archived forever. Because really, the only thing you're doing with the septum piercing is telling every sane person that you're not very employable and to stay away from you.

Ladies, nobody likes these. Absolutely nobody likes these. Like eyes to make you look like a cat, a nose ring to make you look like a [ __ ] shaved eyebrows so you look like an alien. Like, what is this [ __ ] man? And she has fangs or these are like some type of piercing. This who likes this? Like, this [ __ ] looks more like pain from Narut than any human on on Earth.

For context, Teone was reacting to a girl saying, "Why aren't my relationships going well? It must be men's fault." And to me, it's shocking that why she isn't doing well isn't obvious. Appearance matters in relationships. You're dressing in a way that only a very specific type of person likes. And the odds of that person being a nut job or an abuser is like 90 plus%.

But over the past few years, particularly since co, a lot of people online seem to be at a loss for what to do when it comes to relationships. For example, you have the male loneliness epidemic or crazy women saying, "Where have all the good men gone?" And people are just kind of loudly blaming the opposite sex and saying that it's impossible to ever find someone worth being with. When really, to me, the answer seems to be a lot less complicated than people are making it. And the solution starts with not absorbing stupid ideas.

As a woman, I want a strong man who is a protector and a provider that will go to war if need be, that will protect me, protect my family, make money, but I don't think a man needs to get something out of it to be a manly man, a protector, and a provider. If you think you need to get something out of it, I quite frankly don't consider you a real man.

Good God, what an insufferable [ __ ]. Also, anyone who thinks that Tommy Lahren is right-wing because she appears on Fox News is an idiot.

This is going to be the summer of cancelling boys. It is not just the guys in Los Angeles, Nashville, Dallas, and it's not they're not any better in the Midwest. They quite frankly, I think they're trash all over this country. And we will not compromise our standards. It will be a cold day in hell when I chase a man.

All of these gold digger philosophy chicks who openly say they should have to offer nothing in a relationship while demanding everything from men are always super woke. They have the same ideology as welfare flunkies.

Use the patriarchy and your system against them. Make them pay for their loss. Money is power. people listen to my to the money because unfortunately that that's all capitalist society about.

Another angry [ __ ] taking up the gold digger princess treatment ideology. Yes, capitalism and the patriarchy are why the wizard Liz has to teach women how to manipulate men, which is why I still think it's funny that she got cheated on by a cringey Fortnite YouTuber. It's karmic justice for how many women that are going to die alone after being poisoned by her relationship advice. We would have a mental health boom if women just uninstalled Instagram and Tik Tok from their phones because that's where they're getting all this trash dating advice.

Break up with your Republican boyfriends. They voted against you. They voted against your body. They voted against your rights. Even if they say that they didn't vote or they're not into politics. There is no such thing anymore. Either you're about what's going on or you're vehemently against it.

Look, I get it if you're a Democrat and don't want to date someone who is a Republican. I think in general it's not smart to be in a long-term relationship with someone who has different values. But if you can't even handle a relationship with someone who doesn't have any strong opinions on politics, then you're mentally ill and probably have terrible conflict resolution skills.

Oh, look, a nose ring. But one thing they all have in common is they're all wearing nose rings. Isn't that crazy? It's like every single one. Holy [ __ ]. What are the odds? It's the mark of the mentally ill. And this like whole I won't date you if you don't constantly virtue signal is the new dating meta for liberal white women which is objectively just the worst demographic.

I love you so much but I've always wanted a partner to be on the same wavelength. And so today I can't. But we talked about a lot of the values that I hold so close to my heart making this decision. My mind is telling me I can't.

Like really.

Yeah. Like I remember like I asked him about like Black Lives Matter and I'm no expert but like when I asked him about it he was like I guess I'd never really thought too much about it. That affected me especially in our own city. Like how could it not?

Man, that guy dodged a bullet harder than Trump. Do these people still not get that Black Lives Matter is a terrorist organization? Did they miss the part where they essentially embezzled millions of dollars to buy themselves a mansion? But these videos of liberal white women saying they won't date anyone who isn't in lock step with all their values are everywhere. I'm scrolling the dating apps earlier and for the first 20 swipes it's conservative, moderate, conservative, moderate, apolitical, nothing, conservative, conservative, conservative, conservative, conservative, conservative, moderate. And to me, conservative, moderate, and apolitical, and nothing is all the same thing. You all are MAGA. Um, took me 20 swipes to finally find a liberal.

Again, you have to be political. You have to agree with me or you're a bad person.

What the [ __ ] is going on? Why is everybody MAGA? It's not that everybody's MAGA. It's that, you know, the male loneliness epidemic. It's because nobody wants to date them. They don't make good partners. That's why there's so many single ones out there. I rather have no dates than ever date a MAGA ever [ __ ] again.

I'm guessing her ex who broke up with her was a Trump supporter. Hey lady doing the Bob's Burgers cosplay, aren't you single, too? Doesn't that mean that no one wants you either? But you know what would make this all better? Education. Which is why I want to educate everyone about Raycon. Raycons are the best earbuds on the market at an affordable price with a battery that basically lasts forever. You get eight hours on a single charge and up to 32 hours if you let them recharge in the case, which is perfect because over the past year of me using Raycons, I've really started to appreciate how well they fit into my ear. Not only is that good for working out, but they're also comfortable enough to sleep with, which is important because I get woken up by everything. Some of you might have noticed that this video contains a lot of pictures of Japan, and that's because I recently visited there, and a part of that trip included a 12-hour flight where I was seated very close to a crying child. But thanks to this entire row of seats being empty, and the noiseancelling ability of Raycon earbuds, I was able to sleep through a significant portion of that flight. Unfortunately, the flight back was full, so I didn't get to turn one of the middle rows that were empty into a bed like I got to on the first flight. That sucked. But what doesn't suck is how easy it is to pair your Raycons to your devices and how their multi-point connectivity allows you to pair with two devices at the same time. So if you want to check out Raycon earbuds, then click on the link in the description or go to byracon.com/tvys to get 20% off sitewide. That's byracon.com/tvys.

All right, so crazy women on TikTok aren't the only issue with dating because over the past decade, the social climate has changed quite a bit. Tell me why. Every day I go out looking adorable, tits bouncing, skin glistening, and yet nobody ever hits on me or approaches me ever. Oh my god. Like, please. I'll take a [ __ ] construction worker cat call at this point. Please.

Gee, I wonder why men don't want to approach women in public anymore. I mean, all she can do is say no. What's the worst that could happen? These women aren't friends out for a run. They're actually undercover police officers taking to the streets in Surrey as part of a new operation trying to stop people cat calling and harassing female runners.

We get hacked, the staring, the hanging out of the window just to look at us. And it just it's so so so prevalent. and police teams are ready to intervene the moment the officers are beeped at, followed or shouted at, pulling people over.

Those kind of behaviors may not be criminal offenses in themselves, but they still need to be addressed. And of course, the people that are likely to to commit those kind of uh behaviors, you know, they may then go on to commit more uh serious offenses or more serious behaviors.

It's not criminal, but we're going to arrest them for it anyway because they might do something worse in the future. Gee, that doesn't sound authoritarian at all. And the problem is that this hostile response to men approaching women has been applied to far more innocent behaviors than cat- calling. Understand that it's already difficult for men to talk to women, be vulnerable with how they feel, and then give women all the power to decide what happens next. Adding the possibility of being arrested or being called a rapist to that equation is very demotivating. This is something that women are terrible at sympathizing with because almost none of them do the asking out for the first date. Though, I think it's great that when Britain is full of violent migrants, the best use of police time is arresting guys for honking their horn at women jogging. They arrested 18 people for this. Oh, look. One of the officers has a bunch of middle school desk drawings on her arm. Shocking.

But there's all kinds of downright hostile behavior towards men that makes them not want to approach women. Like those girls who try to go viral on TikTok by filming at the gym and accusing men of being sexual predators for just looking in their direction for half a second. And some women have gotten so desperate to go viral that they'll try to bait men into doing this by wearing skin-tight clothes so they can falsely say they were being assaulted because somebody may have glanced at them for a second while they were turning their head.

When these women come to these gyms and they're wearing booty shorts so tight and they run a seam to where each individual cheek you can see visibly. How do these women not understand that you might catch a glance or two? It'd be the exact same thing if a man came into a gym wearing a [ __ ] speedo.

Right? They know what they're doing. Working out doesn't require that you wear clothing that is so form-fitting that you're basically naked. So again, understand why men are a little reserved about approaching women these days when they've been called toxic masculine sexual predators for over a decade now. They've had to suffer through things like college tribunals because a woman regretted having consensual sex. There have been a number of false rape allegations in the media and men have to deal with confusing mixed messages like this from women where you're either romantic or you're going to jail.

There are women that like guys that when she tells them no, he keeps trying to pursue her because it makes her feel special. There are women that like that. Most women don't like that. And my advice to you is to assume that they don't like that. And so, do you know if you're going to are you approaching a girl that is a no means no girl or are you approaching a girl that is a, you know, ask me three times to make sure that you really actually care about me girl. You see what I'm saying? And there's no way to really tell that really at all, right? I don't even think this whole approaching women that you've never met before and asking them out is a working strategy anyway. Like, you hear stories, but I feel like they are mostly in movies where a guy sees a girl on the train or whatever. He strikes up a conversation and a year later they're married. I don't think most people traditionally have initiated relationships from these one-time occurrences. Also, I'm excluding dating apps because I think they're toxic and don't really work on a large scale either, but I don't think I've ever known someone to progress towards a long-term relationship from someone they've only seen one time before asking them out on a date. They always find people from environments where they're seeing each other multiple times, like school or work or through a friend group. Even if it's like a cashier at the store, they've seen or talked to that cashier multiple times before going out. So, I think the actual strategy is to place yourself in social environments that include both sexes where you frequently see the same people or you go to a party where you're around the same people for hours and can talk to the same person multiple times throughout the event. Outside of that, personally, I don't think this cult approaching stuff works unless you're very attractive or rich or have incredible social skills. So, why is this considered to be the standard for meeting women outside of dating apps? Usually, it just ends up creeping them out.

You don't know the intention of the person doing the cat calling until they're either walking away from you, asking for your phone number, or trying to drag you into their van. And because of this unfortunate reality, these initiatives basically risk casting a uniform net over any man who approaches any woman in any context. And I think that's really sad. Again, I don't think a ton of men can relate to this, thankfully for you guys. But, you know, as a woman and for a lot of women, I think that in this context, we do kind of have to assume that any man approaching us is a threat until proven otherwise. And that's not based around, you know, like a man-hating thing. It's rather just that as the weaker sex, you do have to be careful about who is around you and who's in your surroundings.

Right? And I don't blame women for behaving like that because the consequences of them being friendly to the wrong guy or not being cautious around certain men could cost them their lives. And what I mean is that say that you're a girl in your 20s and you're getting approached, let's say, a h 100 times over a 5-year period. The likelihood that one of those guys is going to be a dangerous nut job is very high. And it only has to happen once. So, I don't like the anti-male narrative of every man who looks at a woman is a predator because it has the cascading effect of discouraging men not just from creepy interactions, but also perfectly normal ones. Though, at the same time, I do understand why women are cautious. But, you know, maybe if the government would spend less time diversity hiring and more time arresting criminals, then women might feel a lot safer in public. However, if you want to blame women for every inconvenience and you can't empathize with why they don't want to be constantly approached by random men they don't know, then you probably aren't that fit for a relationship. I guess a secondary thought that I have that I don't want to get into is I would love to be a fly on the wall when these copers realize the demographic, the primary demographics that are doing the cat calling and who is the most risk to women. Uh, and then how quickly they will shut the initiative down when they do that, when they realize that.

Oh, I do want to get into it. To be clear, she's referring to that British video where they're arresting people for cat calling. And I will mention that for those of you who are old enough to remember this 10-year-old video that went viral and basically started the anti-cat calling craze, feminists shut up real fast when people pointed out that this girl walking around New York was almost exclusively being cat-c calledled and stalked by racial minorities. Oops, that screws with the anti-white narrative. Again, I don't think people should cat call, but you shouldn't go to jail for simply whistling at women walking down the street.

So, the dating market can be super hostile towards men. And we didn't even talk about the tea app, which was an extremely popular app, by the way, where disgruntled women were anonymously doxing and defaming their exes. Let me repeat that. They were anonymously posting private info about their exes without their consent on an app where men aren't allowed to join. But at least in that situation, the app had zero security. So some 4ch wrote a script that collected all the metadata from that site and then gave these women some karmic justice and exposed that they were all ugly. So there's a decent amount of hostility towards men in the dating market. But that's not to say that all these issues lie with toxic women. There are plenty of toxic men or men who are undatable like those nose ring chicks, but for different reasons. The most common one I see on YouTube is the epidemic of these I'm a loser videos.

Uh I'm 35 years old and I live at home with my mother. I spent all of my 20s and half of my 30s so far doing almost nothing productive. I smoked pot. I watched porn. I played video games and I never took the time to really invest in my future, my finances, skill sets, knowledge bases, all that.

Well, you screwed up. You made it to almost middle age with no skills that will make you over minimum wage. I've seen a lot of people over the years make excuses for this type of person going, "Oh, well, it's not their fault because it's hard out there." Okay, I can see how life can be more difficult for certain people, but you had 17 years as an adult to build a marketable skill and you came out with nothing. It doesn't take that long to build a skill that makes above minimum wage and you're living with your mom. So, I can't imagine that you have big expenses like rent or a mortgage or any time-consuming responsibilities that would prevent you from getting educated. That being said, this is also why I don't really blame women for being upset about these guys or making fun of them like how we make fun of the nose ring chicks. I've watched like a hundred of these videos and most of them just do it for pity and don't actually make their lives any better. I think that women saying that a part of the problem is the epidemic of male losers is not that inaccurate of a statement. Like you can't say that women are pricing themselves out of the market by working when you're at a minimum wage job or unemployed in your 30s.

Why are you videotaping yourself eating a slice of pizza?

Why are you 32 years old working as a delivery driver?

Cuz I want to.

I feel bad.

Cuz mommy and daddy don't pay for my life like you. And I had to climb my way up. You climbed your way up to an entry-level job. Congrats. Like I said, I think these people are a problem for the dating market, just like the nose ring chicks are, but their issues expressed differently. Though, they still have a similar number of mental health problems.

This is where my experience as a psychiatrist, I think that a lot of incelss have a modern version of body dysmorphia. So, if you look at a lot of incels, they'll be hyperfocused on certain physical features. Like, they'll say, "My jawline is like this, therefore I can't get laid. I'm too short, therefore I can't get laid." They have a history of oftentimes traumatic experiences. They struggle with all kinds of pornography problems and other kinds of addictive problems.

Yeah, that is not talked about very much. I think pornography is a major contributor to the incel problem as well as the hypersexualization that's very often used to sell mediocre anime and video games. And my issue with the hypersexualization that goes on in these spaces is that it's turning people into addicts who now don't seek out relationships even though they desperately want them. yet they will have a full-on Twitter meltdown if you say maybe we should focus more on better gameplay and storytelling instead of constantly painting the camera towards this girl's ass. And the cruel irony here is that while they're having their meltdown on Twitter, they don't realize how much they're damaging their brains with this addiction because the people who do make it out of the incel cave and actually get with a woman often find that they get erectile dysfunction because of their addiction to porn. They spent so much time by themselves that they get anxiety when someone else is in the room. And porn is so different from actual sex that actual sex is not stimulating to them to the extent that they have to spend a vast amount of time without porn to reensitize themselves and learn how to meditate to get rid of the performance anxiety. So that's a real issue that has to be dealt with. And yet again, I don't blame women for not wanting to be with these guys. These addiction problems are not for women to solve. Much like it's not your job as a man to fix whatever caused a chick to dye her hair purple. Those people have to find the motivation to start fixing their own issues instead of making it everyone else's problem.

Be careful about the trash diet of the internet. The content that you consume, take a look at what impact that has on you. When you spend a thousand hours on 4chan, when you spend time on incel forums, what does that do for you? What is your internal emotional state? How does your life change? Often times what people find is that these are places that are incredibly validating, but they are not going to move you forward in life. They're not actually going to fix your problems. They're just going to soothe your problems. And there's something very dangerous about these places is that they tell you it's not your fault, which feels really good. And to a certain degree, it may not be your fault. But they almost always also say there's nothing you can do about it. That we should blame these other people.

Yeah. I think the worst thing a person suffering with mental illness can do is surround themselves with a bunch of other mentally ill people who will then validate them and discourage them from improving themselves. Incelss have small forums and crazy liberal women have Tik Tok and Blue Sky. I think these online spaces are a large contributor to demoralizing people and you need to consider your surroundings if you actually want to improve your mental health. Now, the Dr. K video I just showed is called why we shouldn't leave incels behind where he argues that instead of saying that the dating crisis or the male loneliness epidemic is just natural selection and leaving the undesirabs be, we should render help. And to that I say maybe. Maybe because there are a lot of lost people who just need a halfdecent mentor. But the problem here, especially with the black pill spaces, is that these people don't want help and you can't help someone who doesn't want it. The only thing you can do is let them suffer until the negative consequences get so severe that they build the desire to change. But what this is leading to with all these mental health issues is that tons of people these days are below the minimum level required to be desirable in a relationship more so than in our parents' time. Everyone has minimum standards or they would rather be single and tons of people fall below those standards. I mean, just for example, most people do not find fat people attractive. So, if you had that standard, then you just weeded out like 70% of the population, meaning that your selection pool is down to a third of what it used to be before the 1990s or so. Actually, it's probably much worse than that if you're looking for someone who is at an attractive body weight instead of simply not being medically overweight. People really underestimate how much less attractive you look if you're 10 to 20 pounds over an ideal body fat level. Anyway, everyone's fat and weak.

Yeah. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go.

Yeah. Let me get one more. Let me get Let me get three. Let me get three. Let me get three. Yeah.

How do you have sex if you're so weak that you need assistance to do two reps of a 95 lb bench press?

Do you work out? Not for everybody. So.

Do you work out?

Not really.

I'm not saying that you need to be a roided out bodybuilder, but there's a certain level of fitness that both men and women need to have fun in a relationship. And it's not fun to have sex with a fat person who gasses out after two pumps. Also, being weak and fat lowers your testosterone levels. But am I the only one who gets openly mad at the constant lowering of physical standards? Like, the minute you say, "Hey, maybe we should put attractive people in ads and not someone who's 5 seconds away from dying from type 2 diabetes," people have a meltdown. Sydney Sweeney Hazburg can.

The Sydney Sweeney ad. Have you seen it?

Oh yes I have. The eugenics in that it's dripping with it and I'm like no. It's it's just uh showing what kind of country we're turning into. It's white supremacy at the end of the day. That's what this ad is representing.

I love how they turn this into a racial issue when the pun is obviously about her figure and not her race. Hey, eyes up here.

They think that it's reinforcing this idea that blondhaired, blue-eyed, white women are the most beautiful or whatever, and that that's like the Nazi propaganda where it's like, "What should Germans look like? Blonde hair, blue-eyed Aryan race or whatever." Here's the great irony of this whole thing. What they're actually saying is that Sdney Sweeney has great tits.

That's a cool take. I get it.

Oh, wait. I think I found the actual reason why they hate her. President uh actress Cindy Steini. It came out the spacing that she was a registered Republican. Any thoughts on that?

That who was.

Sydney Steini. She's like a very hot actress right now.

She's a registered Republican. You'd be surprised at how many people are Republicans.

Right. She's a Republican, so she must be destroyed. But of course, often times women's worst enemies are other women, especially if it's a woman more successful than they are.

They keep beating the [ __ ] out of Caitlyn Clark for no reason. Well, I mean, not for no reason. They're just very jealous. It is shocking how brutal this league is to their superstar. Caitlyn Clark is like the sole reason the WNBA's popped off in any capacity recently. When Caitlyn Clark was injured, it was a 55% decline in watchers. It's unbelievable how they treat her just because she's the superstar.

Stuff like this makes the WNBA sex toy situation even funnier. But wouldn't it be great if women stop lowering the value of the dating pool by purposefully sabotaging other women they're afraid of competing with? Okay, I want you to rate this woman on a scale of 1 to 10. Oh, 9 or 10 easily. She's stunning. Okay, be honest. Drop deadad gorgeous. Well, what if I told you that you look like her?

Oh, does he think I'm fat?

Yeah, and now the guy that you didn't pick has to deal with some fat hippo and now we have a dating crisis. Every time you convince someone to be a degenerate, that's one less person from the opposite sex who can have a viable relationship partner. If you do that enough times, you get a crisis. Worse is that many women have started encouraging each other to dress to impress other women instead of men and then wonder why men don't want to date them.

So instead of posting a video and thinking, I hope a man finds me attractive, it's I hope the girls don't hate this.

Right? Because if you want a relationship, a smart strategy is to purposefully dress in a way that men think is unattractive. To be clear, I don't know this girl's personal beliefs, but I've seen plenty of women dressing against the male gays and wondering why they can't find any good man. For example, that video that Teeone was reacting to from earlier. But I swear that women need to stop taking feedback from other women so seriously because half the commentary is incredibly brutal nitpicking for stuff that men don't actually care about, or it's gassing up other women when they look horrible.

You guys look beautiful. Thank you so much. You guys look awesome. Um, the streamer prom presented by Popeye's, the fried chicken restaurant. How am I supposed to focus and stay on topic when I see [ __ ] like that? Anyway, there was this woman who went to a streamer event and a bunch of people pointed out that her outfit was awful and dare I say un to put it lightly. And yet, you still have women gassing this girl up.

Baby, one thing I won't do is get on this [ __ ] app and tell somebody they [ __ ] outfit look [ __ ] cute and it don't. I don't give a [ __ ] if it was a man in a [ __ ] dress. If that fit was cute, it was cute. Like that really tells how many [ __ ] on this app that don't know how to dress and want to look like everybody else. Like y'all imaging dress was different and she look like everybody else at um the prom. You've got to be kidding me. We all heard it, right? But she's coping. Not only is that fit awful, but you aren't going to get a good man dressing like a harlot. So if you want to stop ending up with these ain't [ __ ] men who cheat all the time, then fix how you present yourself. But to be fair, not all the feedback was positive. So just for laughs, let's hear how the girl with the awful dress responded to the negativity.

Leave that right there. Everybody Paige who had something negative to say literally could not [ __ ] with me. Could not even get invited to the event and can't [ __ ] with me on their best day. And that's just really it. And that's just all I have to say about it. I could go into detail and try to people please and say how, oh, this happened wrong and this went wrong and and explain to y'all what went wrong, but really it does not [ __ ] matter because y'all are not girls girls.

Well, that was very eloquent and well spoken of her. Also, that's two videos in a row. And keep in mind, I didn't go looking for 10 different videos until I found the one with the smoke detector beeps and only use those ones. These were the first two videos that I saw. I'm not actively looking for this. It's crazy how I cover a wide and diverse set of people on this channel and only one group seems to have this problem.

Everybody who know me know I'm a real humble person. Like literally.

Anyway, let's move back to the men's side of the dating crisis before I go on a 10-minute tangent on replacing smoke detector batteries. So, moving on to the men's side. A part of the reason why we have issues, and I stress that this is just a part of the issue, is that when men talk to women, tons of them don't have the social skills to tell if women are attracted to them because women are indirect. My brother has no idea he's the hot guy now. And we're sitting at this LA sports bar watching ball. And this little LA booby girl, honey, comes bouncing up to him. Excuse me, can I have a cocktail napkin? My brother, y'all, without turning around, grabs a stack of napkins and goes, "Yeah, there you go. I'm waiting." She's waiting. Finally, she just bunny hopped off into defeat with her napkins. That works every time. And I wait till she got out of earshot. I said, "Dave, buddy, what are you doing? That little thing was hitting on you." He goes, "Trish, that's a croc of crap. When you went to take a piss, three other girls asked for the same thing. This place has crap customer service."

Now, this is a story told by a comedian, so it's probably made up or not super accurate to what actually happened. But the disturbing part is that despite the fact that the live audience clearly got the social cues, there were thousands of people in the comments who very much do not understand how women communicate that they're interested. The general consensus was, "Why wasn't she more direct?" Women can't be direct with their feelings, especially with strangers because that can be dangerous. So, they are largely indirect with things like rejections or showing interest because like I said, they only have to come across one psycho for their life to be ruined. Now, that doesn't excuse women who do this kind of thing manipulatively, but this is why it's important to have social skills so that everybody stays safe. Women can stay safe from predators and men can stay safe from false accusers. But that doesn't work unless you pay attention to signs that people are interested in you. And unless you see those signs, you just have a normal conversation and move on with your life. However, the problem is that so many of these guys have terrible social skills because they don't go outside or talk to people enough that they can't pick up on the social cues. Like I genuinely believe the same person who wouldn't understand the napkin thing could not perceive the difference in meaning and how these two actresses deliver the same lines.

What if I should never find someone so incomparably suitable and wealthy? Oh, what if I should never find someone so incomparably suitable and wealthy?

Can we see how they said the exact same things but meant something a little bit different based on the tone of their voice? You can tell the first girl is more romantically interested in the guy, but sees wealth as a bonus, and the second girl mostly cares about the guy's wealth. I get this is more of an obvious example because they're actors. But if we want to take the incel route and blame women for everything, then I must mention that there are all kinds of examples of women being very clear about their disinterest, followed by the guys pursuing anyway and then suffering the consequences. Remember the Starbucks guy?

It is not easy to be a single man in your 30s in America today. I just went to Starbucks to order a vanilla latte with an extra shot. And as I am walking up to the door, I happen to notice this beautiful girl walking up to the door as well. And she has a Death Cap for Cutie T-shirt on. That's been my favorite band since I was 14 years old. I am 32 now. That's 18 years of loving this band. So, as I take, you know, I take a quick twostep to open the door for her and I'm like, "Hey, you have great taste in music. That's been my favorite band since I was 14 years old." And she looks at me and she just says, "Cool."

Instantly, this is a rejection. She's not interested. Move on. But he doesn't. He continues to persist and so she has to publicly embarrass him by yelling at him in front of everyone at the Starbucks to get him to stop pursuing her. Now, there is no place to sit in the Starbucks. There's just this coffee toy area in front of the counter. So, as we're both waiting, I just look over at the gal and I'm like, "So, what's your favorite album by Death Cab?" And she looks over at me with a glare and she is like, "Stop talking to me. I'm not remotely interested." And she says it loud enough for the entirety of the Starbucks to hear. And everybody in the Starbucks looks at me. And at that point, the only sound I'm hearing is the chorus of heyya. And silence is loud, but I have no idea where I went wrong there. I I I I'm so puzzled. I thought I was being nice. What did I do? I mean, I wasn't there, but I can almost guarantee you that he did something to indicate that he was interested. She picked up on that and was not interested. So, that's how she responded. It wasn't him trying to be nice. He was talking to her for a reason. And understand that she doesn't know if he's a psycho or not. and he's being creepy and he's not picking up on her disinterest. So, she had to be very vocal about it to keep herself safe.

Men don't understand women's problems because they're not women.

This is mostly true. And it's mostly true that women don't understand men's problems that well either. But this is all not to say that every part of the dating crisis is our fault and the blame is entirely on people being losers. Some of this stuff is the environment that we were born into.

They tell us to stop eating out and wrench $2,000 a month. Oh, save for retirement. And yet you can barely save for next week. Tell go buy a house. Yep. Every house is half a million dollars, brother. I'm not asking for a handout, man. We're asking for a freaking fair shot at life.

Right? Inflation is not really our fault. And it's demoralizing people into thinking that they'll never be able to afford a house or a family, so why even try with a relationship? But it's not just that. Tons of people were tricked into making incredibly stupid financial decisions through the education system. So, as it turns out, the student loans that I've been paying $1,500 a month for for two years have a 17% interest rate. So, what I thought I've been paying off for all this time, I'm actually like I owe more than what I started off with. What the [ __ ] I owe $90,000 and I didn't even spend that much on school. Courtney Kardashian, like you probably have eight houses. I'm never gonna be able to buy one because I went to college. I just signed up to be an egg donor. Guess what? Got approved. Who wants my [ __ ] kids? I can't afford them. So, start a bidding more.

Holy [ __ ]. 17%. Did she pay for her school with a credit card? And I get that people want to laugh and call her a dumbass for signing up for a ridiculous yearly interest rate, but this is not entirely her fault. Like many others, I'm sure her childhood was centered around the idea of going to college mixed in with false promises about the actual benefit of higher education and an overvaluing of expensive schools that garner you the same pay as cheaper ones when you get employed. Keep in mind that unlike other loans where you can claim bankruptcy, which causes lenders to be cautious about who they give money to, with student loans, you can't do that. And people are signing up for these things at 18 years old before they have any financial knowledge or adult life experience. I mean, you have to wait until you're 21 to drink alcohol. And honestly, I think that binge drinking for a few years as an adult before you're legally allowed to drink is less harmful to your overall life than some of these student loans are. Personally, I think they should be made illegal or people should be allowed to default. And colleges should lose their federal funding or accreditation if they offer useless degrees like this.

I'm scout. I use they them pronouns. And I'm an interdisciplinary major at UBC. I'm in my last semester. My primary thematic focus is uh decolonizing academia and public knowledge systems and my secondary thematic focus is bioultural and linguistic futurity.

For those who don't know what that means, can you give us a quick rundown? Yeah, basically what I focus on is the promises that the institution has made and also the emergence of indigenous ways of knowing and being across the disciplines and I feature in a lot of stuff like like language revitalization or the emergent vitality of languages rather and just kind of a bunch of stuff. I' I've taken courses in over 20 departments. So.

Okay. Yeah.

Awesome.

Like what the hell is that? I feel more confused by her explanation than the title of the degree itself. You should be able to sue the school for your money back if they waste your time like that. This is a scam designed as education. However, despite the fact that some of this stuff is what we were born into, that doesn't mean that we should see it as a thing that we don't have agency over because we do have control here. Even though it's unfair and even though prior generations had it easier. For one, if you're going into higher education or a trade, before you spend several years working on something, do a quick Google search to make sure that your major actually has market value. and it's likely that you'll be able to find employment. Second, from a political standpoint, we need to start getting very pissed about things that are intentionally done to steal jobs from Americans, increase crime, and cause housing prices to inflate. I'm not saying that these are the only issues with housing, the job market, and criminal behavior. But illegals flooding across the border is not good for Americans. And an overall allowance of work visas designed to replace all the middle-class jobs with Indian foreigners who don't want to assimilate to American culture and are willing to accept lower pay is also not good for Americans. And multiculturalism is cancer. Like I said, this is not the only issue that's making things more expensive, but it is a big one. It's bipartisan and it's an issue that we're winning on. It's time to press in on it and solve this problem because what else are we going to do? Are we going to sit here and complain that dating sucks and the economy sucks so it's over? Or are we going to do something about it? We may not have caused this problem but no one else is going to fix it but us. Sometimes that's how life works. This is a difficult game but you can win and there are plenty of people with heavy setbacks who still succeed anyway.

I have to share this story with you guys. So I starting to follow this guy inu in 2021 December. By the time he only have one post and this is his only post. The title is I cannot find a girlfriend. Where is my issue? And he posts one of his picture in here. And as you can imagine, he received many many of comments and a lot of them are not really nice. A lot of people said many hurtful things to him like, "Oh, you're too fat. You are ugly. You are hopeless." And many people ask him about his background. And he is a really general person. He answered all of them. He said, "Okay, I was born in 96 July. My height is 170 centrome meter exactly and I'm doing a labor job. I earn around 3,000 R&B per month with no insurance. I don't own a house. I have a car and I have never in a relationship before but I really want to. This is his first post and 90% of the comments are harsh comment to laugh at him to say okay you are too short, too poor, you have no money, you look ugly, you are hopeless, you're dumb. But there are 10 10%

of comment who generally want to help him. So a lot of people try to give him nice advice. Now, I don't know Chinese, so I guess we'll just take her word for it. But notice all the wonderful black pillars there trying to help him by telling him he'll never succeed. You're a sub five out of 10, bro. Women will never love you. It's over.

>> Many people recommend that he starting to watch his diet or exercise to lose some weight. And a couple months later, he come back with more updates. He lost some weight and he look much much better. He's starting to work on his like sense of style on clothing. Some people suggest that okay, you cannot just lose weight. You need to get some app. And he did. He get a pack but generally he is getting better and better. The reason why I want to post this story is because this guy get married yesterday. He was never in a relation before but after 2 years he completely transformed himself and he met a really nice girl and he get married.

>> For all the black pillars out there I would like to mention that this guy was 5'6. But do you see how much giving a [ __ ] can make a difference? This guy turned his whole life around in like 2 years. Was a loser. Got no attention but hit the gym. fixed his appearance and now he found someone who wants to be with him for the rest of his life. And take a look at this picture. He's not very fat, but just losing a few pounds shrunk his face and he looks 10 times better. This must be so upsetting to people who spend their whole life looking for excuses for why it's somebody else's fault that they're they're not dating a supermodel. Yeah. Like this is really impressive, man. This guy just straight went and leveled up. Yeah. He actually went through the steps to improve his life.

>> This is possible. Now, results may vary, but the reality is that if you take care of your appearance and work on yourself, then you could be in a very different place just 2 years from now. Though, I can already hear people in the comments saying, "But don't you know that any woman can suddenly become evil and ruin your life?" What did we discuss at the beginning? Nose ring theory. Judge a book by its cover. Pay attention to superficial information. These women are trying to tell you who they are before you date them.

>> For a lot of women, it's not about appealing to men anymore. It's about appealing to other women. And that shift is getting louder and louder. It's happening in our trends, in our makeup, in our clothes, fashion. Because a lot of women, they do this and then they call it men repellent. There's men repellent outfits, hairstyles, and the more men say they don't like something, the more women double down out of spite.

>> Great. Keep wearing that uniform. that says you're hostile so we know who to avoid. Make it simple for us. Thanks. I love it when women tell you upfront that they're nuts instead of wasting tons of your time before it gets revealed. Last, I feel like I have to address this every time I talk about this topic because there is this sort of incompetence these days with people going to social events. I think this is also a massive contributor to the dating crisis. People are spending lots of time isolated, not exposed to others because they don't know how to get out of the house. But a lot of people who maybe want to change are making socializing overly complicated, especially the ones with little to no relationship experience. I think that's largely because they think that if they step outside, then it must be to get a girlfriend. And every woman they see in public is a target. They don't understand that if you constantly come at people like you want something from them, especially women, they get turned off by it because it's needy. I'm sure we've all offended this at some point, but I think if you pay attention, you'll realize that most of your friendships and relationships came sort of naturally because you got along and not because you were specifically trying to get something from the other person. So, if you want success in social situations, then your goal needs to be I'm just here to talk to people instead of if I don't find a girlfriend in the next 5 minutes, I'm a loser. And when you remove that pressure from yourself, I think that you'll find that there are a lot of places where you can meet people, build friendships, and build relationships. Also, if you're behind in social skills, then listen to the audiobook version of How to Win Friends and Influence People. The information in that book is so correct that it still works 90 years later. And for the person who might ask, "Where do I go? There are no third spaces anymore." Don't be ridiculous. There are plenty of ways to go outside. Parks, the beach, taking a walk, the gym, group fitness classes, martial arts classes, adult sports leagues, hobby stores for video games, board games, or trading card games, church, bookstores, bars, a coffee shop. I mean, if I can go to Japan for a few days, plan none of the trip until I get there because I like vacations to be more spontaneous, and then still come out with 8 to 10 hours of social activity per day in environments where there are lots of people, then you can do that, too. Do some research. It only takes a few minutes to Google things to do in your area or look it up on TikTok. Stop making this sound like it's impossible. It's not. Because if more people started taking action instead of complaining that everything's too hard, there wouldn't be a dating crisis. Anyway, thanks for watching. can follow me on Twitter and I'll see you in the next
