What would you say about your garden? Oh, it's so amazing, so beautiful, so exciting. So exciting to build a community with you all who actually care and love the Earth and help people live great lives. You're really getting people off of medications. You're really getting people out of wheelchairs. What would you, what would be out of scooters and Walkers? Scriptures that talk about how the herbs and the leaves are healers, and that's how I heal my patients. And healing is real. I mean, literally getting people off oxygen and scooters that have been on there for 11 years, and diabetes 20 to 40 years. So I can't say enough. Encourage more and more people to do this because this is real life.

What up, y'all? We are finishing a food forest installation here in Orman Beach. It was a two-phase install. Shout out to Peter and his team at Sweet Orchard for coming in, doing some earthworks. We did an awesome, awesome job on this project. I'm really proud of the team. So I'm going to flip this around and show you guys. Here is, uh, this is a double lot property. It's well, very well manicured and landscaped from the very beginning. Got a big beautiful mango tree that's been here for a qu, quite a while. This second lot is actually their property, and the goal is to do a community food forest out there. But let's start with what we actually did here. Got some a pear tree, believe it or not. Some pears. There's some pears on it. Those little cute guys, right? Let me show you this. So you come in this back gate over here, and there was an existing garden. There's a couple citrus trees here, couple, uh, annuals and herbs and stuff like that. More citrus trees. A lot of this was existing already. We added some papayas, some pineapples, and I don't even know, a whole bunch of stuff over there.

Where's Matt? What you got, man? By far, by far, one of the best projects that we've done yet. And this is a testament to two things. One, a homeowner that's really in touch with what they want and really enhancing, um, like the, the home for their family and really being involved and utilizing health. But also, they had awesome bananas, they had awesome palms. She was already growing a lot of things, so we could just build around the system that she already had. So that's, that's one thing that's, that's really cool. Someone who has a vision, but they just don't know how to, to fully get it and take it to the next. Andrea is a naturopathic doctor, I think is the right way of saying it. And she is genuinely supporting and helping people get off of medications, getting out of wheelchairs. Dude, literally getting people off oxygen and scooters that have been on there for 11 years, and diabetes 20 to 40 years. Like crazy stuff, right? Like getting real impact. So she wants to make a Blue Zone in, or did you know that? Yeah. So for those of you guys that don't know, that means that's people that pass natural death over the age of 100. So anyways, let me flip this back around. I'll show you guys. We could talk all day about it, but, um, this was an addition to get a tractor through here. So we kind of open this up. Got a beautiful fig tree and guava that's been here for a while. Pineapples. There's Tyler. Mr. Tyler, you got anything to say about this project? It went great. It's beautiful. It really is, dude. It really is. So I like this SWS in the rain garden too. Yeah, I'll show them the rain garden back there. And then r that guy designed it. Congratulations. Congratulations. Check this out. So the, the stone in the back was already there. So that was, uh, something we just added some native fire bush and flowers and stuff like that. But this whole front area was added. Um, you got hibiscus, you got an avocado tree with a Moringa in between. A lei. So you got two big trees, kind of a Nitro fixture right in the middle with a bunch of other native flowers, grasses, chop and drop, um, just everything that you need, you know? You got your canopy, you got your legums, you got your native plants, and then you got your edibles in all different types of ways. So just beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. It actually wraps all the way around. I didn't even know we originally were doing that. And then here is the swells and the burms in the back, which is absolutely incredible. Check that out. Bam, bam. Before I even go that way, she's got grapes. Look at these table grapes right here. These feel like these need to be in an infomercial right there. They look so good. She's got blueberries. Literally got actual blueberries on it. Bam. Blueberry hedge. Grapes. Check out these blackberries going crazy. Let's see if that'll focus in for you. They're all ripening up. I don't know if I can find one. There we go. Almost. It's a little early, but hey, nothing like a little tart. Got veggies all over there. I'm going to take you guys around this back side and you swoop down over here. We got katuk in the shade, fire spike, Mexican sunflower, some lemong grasses. Check this out. This whole place is just set up very nice, very nice. These are all natives. So there's no irrigation on the native plants. Got the sea grapes, lies, milk weeds, golden rods, so many beautiful things. These will be fine by themselves. And then this beautiful swell back here. Look at this. This is packed, packed with native flowers. Like this is just going to be a big cluster of beautiful color with birds and bees and butterflies just buzzing around it and everything. So this was a very mucky area, um, in the winter time, in the rainy season, excuse me. Winter time tells you it's been a week, um, when the when the rains come. This was a puddle back here. This was super mucky. So now what we've created is something when the water rolls down the hill, first of all, it doesn't even all the way come down the hill because we have BMS and swells, um, swells that will capture it, burms that will absorb it. But whatever does make it down here now has a way of actually trailing out of the property instead of just sitting in black muck. But we also have a bunch of native root systems, right? That'll actually soak up that water and turn it into vegetation, right? So we got some elderberry back there. I don't even know. There's so many here. There's so many plants here. Lots of golden rod. I can see the milkweed grasses. I think we snuck an ice cream bean back there, but that was me. Sweet almonds doing good. Purple, uh, purple love grass. And show you guys these BMS from the bottom. There's Andrea. It's her proper. It's your garden. What would you say about your garden? Oh, it's so amazing, so beautiful, so exciting. So exciting to build a community. The Shield of Life is building a community with you all who actually care and love the Earth and help people live great lives. And, uh, so I can't say enough. Encourage more and more people to do this because this is real life. Yes, this is real, real healing. Give me a hug. This is awesome. I'm so excited for this. This is just starting. You know, me and Matt were saying, you know, God, God's first commandment to man was to steward the land. That's right. Be good stewards of the earth. And what else? There's so many scriptures that talk about how the herbs and the leaves are healers, and that's how I heal my patients. Is getting them to change their. I was telling them, you're really getting people off of medications. You're really getting people out of wheelchairs. What would you, what would be out of scooters and Walkers? It's, it's not just nutrition. It's drinking water and not all those other chemicals. It's also, you know, it's also exercise and sleep and praying and be grateful and building communities like this. Yeah. Moving your body, getting out. I love it. Yeah. So much good stuff. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And we have to do more good communities because there's too many bad things in the world. Need to focus on what is good. I know, I know. But it's good. I think the biggest thing about I love sharing this is just is showing that it exists, you know what I mean? Like somebody's out there growing food, somebody's out there working with other people, and there's just good people. And environment's everything. Environment will express who we become as people. And I think the greatest thing I always say, the best thing I feel like I've done in my life is put myself around good people, you know what I mean? Because that environment, ination, creation, exactly. And just be servant-hearted and just be loving, right? Like when you're around loving people, you go, wow, there actually is people. How many people are coming around just to trust people because they never felt like they could? You know what's another crazy thing is, so people that have, are we, we're not, are we still on video? Yeah, but I can cut stuff out. No, no, it's good. I mean, this is, this is the real deal. I mean, people that die and have near-death experiences, some of them get upset because they come back. What they say is that, you know, God is love, and when we emulate love, we instill happiness in our lives and power and creativity, innovation. I mean, that's the foundation of what we are to be. Treat your brothers like you want to be treated. And, and if we, if we all grow that way, and we don't, you know, we never take advantage of people, we all respect each other, and it just makes life so much more beautiful. And healing is real. I mean, literally getting people off oxygen and scooters that have been on there for 11 years, and diabetes 20 to 40 years. I always say, so it's so much more simple than everybody's made it. It's actually the simple is problem is, is people don't want to stay committed. They'll do a month and they'll be like, oh, it didn't work enough. Well, you might have a lot of insulin resistance. If you've done something for 40 years, it's going to take longer than. And then when you start seeing shifts, and that's what I do with my patients. That's why we coach in Shield of Life because it's staying on track. And even with this, it's not like I'm going to walk away, or you're going to walk away from me. We're going to walk together. We're going to grow together. And this is where we teach other people these steps of life. And this is building a community and a faith community, a trust community, a love community that's founded on just doing the right thing to the Earth, and then the Earth gives back to us. And then we become a, the big ecosystem that God kind of designed us to be. Yes. So very cool stuff, very cool. I love it. I'm glad I got to catch you on this. Yeah. Hey, um, oh, the water well. I'm going to keep them entertained and finish this little, this little tour here. Very cool. You guys check out walking through these bananas. There you go. You get to hear from Andrea herself. Man, this is, this is real life. This is what people are doing. And people see it. People are getting off of, uh, medications, changing their lives, shifting their mindset, their heart set, and everything like that. So, uh, honestly, you heard it all right there. These big beautiful BMS, big beautiful swells and BMS. And actually, I will share something else here. We got a deck that when the water, when when the rains come, I don't think it's focusing. You see that little grate right there? When the rain comes, comes, this deck drains into that, and it used to shoot all the way down to the swell again, contributing to the muck that was down there. If it went down there, now it would be captured in the swell and the native plants would absorb it. But what we did was we actually diverted it right here. So when this overflows, the water will actually come out of this, sit into the swell, soak into the BMS and the plants pull it up and use their photosynthesis with the sun. So it's a beautiful system that all we've done is design it in a way that uses the way nature's already doing it. We're just manipulating nature in a way to perform a function. And one last thing, there's an overflow valve also because there was already a tube there that if this overfills, like the whole swell overfills and the water runs out, it'll actually go underneath that and pop up at that rocks over there. And now it can start to fill up that swell. So again, beautiful design on many fronts. Takes a team just to get you guys know what we got here. Actually, over there by Matt, there's the lei. Um, I think there's pigeon peas, there's a pineapple, guava, turmeric, more native fire bushes. Then we have a plum, a sour sop, a sugar apple, a fig, a mle berry, an ice cream bean, a peach, a low quat, Roselle, Okawa, spinaches, cranberry, hibiscus, mangoes, guavas, lemong grasses, whole bunch of herbs and greens, cha, and some lettuce to mulch. Dog is going on that. And just for reference, this SW right here, what's down here, it's about 2 and a half feet. So when it goes down, it's not just mulch, it'll hit the mulch, sink down, going in too. So it is a deep, it is a deep one if you've seen some of the other photos. So and and per what the client was saying, there is a slope and there's a lot of water that comes off of this. So, um, along with Peter and with Cam and Riley was very innovative to be able to create this and have that overflow that goes down to the next one, to the next one, and then the whole way down. Absolutely. Take the Roman aqueducts or something, right? You add anything to this? Look at this beautiful backyard. You got anything to say? This is a good one. This is, this is a mix of, you know, your regular food forest plus some, you know, Mounds here that help with water retention, catching water, moving it, extending it. There's a wetland area in the back that's new for us. So it was fun to design and pick out these plants and put them in to see once the heavy, heavy rain comes in the summer, how it's going to work and fill and mitigate all the mosquitoes, bring in dragonflies, ladybugs, wasps, all those good things to ward off the mosquitoes. Love it. I'm going to just show you guys the rest of Andrea's garden and we'll shut this thing down. [Music] You know what, but
