Hello everyone! My name is Janice! Thank you so much for stopping by my channel.
2 eggs. A pinch of salt. A pinch of herb mix. Mix well.
Today we’re making a super delicious dish. From simple and everyday ingredients. Let’s start cooking.
Heat up a pan. Vegetable oil. 1 lb (500 g) ground beef. Mash the ground beef well. Fry until browned on all sides.
Friends, let’s get to know each other better! Please tell me in the comments which country, state, or city you’re watching my videos from. I love seeing photos of your cities. It’s so inspiring!
1 white onion. Chop finely. I talk about onions in almost every video, and I hope this information will be useful to you. White onions are a real superfood. They’re milder and sweeter than red ones, which makes them perfect for frying and sauces. They’re packed with vitamin C, sulfur, and antioxidants that strengthen your immune system and help your body fight inflammation. White onions also support healthy digestion and help balance blood sugar levels.
Add the onion to the ground beef. Mix well. Fry together.
3 cloves of garlic. Chop finely. By the way, garlic is just as healthy as onions. It contains allicin — a powerful natural compound that helps your body fight viruses, bacteria, and fungi. Garlic boosts your immune system, helps lower cholesterol, and supports normal blood pressure. It’s great to add it to your meals not only for flavor but also for your health. And if you want a milder aroma, just fry it lightly — that way it keeps its benefits and gets a softer taste.
Add the garlic to the ground beef. Mix well. Fry together.
I absolutely love that aroma — when onions, garlic, and ground beef are sizzling in the pan. It’s that perfect, savory scent that makes cooking feel magical.
1 carrot. Grate coarsely. When I was a kid, I didn’t like carrots, but later I realized how healthy they are. They’re rich in beta-carotene, which turns into vitamin A and helps your eyes, skin, and immune system. Carrots are also full of fiber that supports digestion and balances blood sugar. Fun fact — carrots used to be purple and white! The orange ones were created in the Netherlands centuries ago.
Add the carrot to the beef. Mix well. Fry together.
Many people think that frying vegetables destroys all the nutrients, but that’s not true. Most of the benefits stay, especially if you cook them quickly and use good-quality oil.
1 red bell pepper. Chop finely. Bell peppers aren’t just colorful and tasty — they’re a real vitamin powerhouse. They actually have more vitamin C than lemons, plus plenty of antioxidants that help strengthen your immune system and protect your cells from aging. Red peppers are especially healthy — they’re rich in beta-carotene and great for your skin and vision.
Add the pepper to the ground beef. Mix well. Fry together.
I love cooking! For me, it’s not just about food — it’s a way to express myself, relax, and share warmth with the people I love. Do you enjoy cooking too?
3–4 large potatoes. Cut into large pieces. Many people are afraid to eat potatoes because of the starch, but they’re actually very healthy. Potatoes are rich in potassium, vitamin C, and fiber, which support your heart, circulation, and digestion. They keep you full and give you energy without extra fat. Fun fact — potatoes were once grown just for decoration and not eaten at all!
Prepare a pot. Add the potatoes. Add water. Put the pot on the stove. A little salt. Mix well. Cook until fully tender.
2–3 celery stalks. Chop finely. Did you know that celery is one of the healthiest and lowest-calorie vegetables? It’s packed with vitamins K, C, and B, plus minerals that help remove excess fluid and support healthy circulation. Celery improves digestion, boosts metabolism, and gives you energy. You can add it to soups, salads, or smoothies — it refreshes the flavor and adds a ton of benefits.
Add the celery to the ground beef. Mix well. Fry together.
2.5 oz (70 g) tomato paste. Mix again. Tomato paste was invented in Italy in the early 19th century. It was made from ripe tomatoes slowly cooked down in the sun until thick and rich. Since then, it’s become a staple ingredient in kitchens all around the world.
A pinch of salt. A little smoked paprika. A little cumin. Mix again. Fry over low heat for 3–4 minutes.
A bunch of parsley. Chop finely. Parsley isn’t just a garnish — it’s like a tiny burst of fresh energy. Just a few leaves brighten up the flavor and give your body a boost. It’s rich in vitamins A, C, and K, helps cleanse the body, strengthens the immune system, and even freshens your breath. Its aroma wakes you up, and its taste brings any dish to life. Try adding a little to your salad or soup — you’ll taste the difference.
Add the parsley to the ground beef. Mix again. Remove from heat.
Check if the potatoes are ready. The potatoes are done. Remove from heat.
Prepare a deep bowl. Mash the potatoes with a potato masher. By the way, do you know who invented mashed potatoes? It was a French chef named Antoine Parmentier in the 18th century. He was the one who made potatoes popular and turned this simple dish into a true classic of world cuisine.
Add the egg mixture. Mash again. 2 tablespoons flour. Mix well.
Prepare baking dishes. I’m using 3 small baking dishes today. Vegetable oil. Grease the bottom of each dish well. I use a silicone brush. Fun fact: vegetable oil was first made in ancient Egypt! People used it not only for cooking but also for skincare. The healthiest kind is cold-pressed oil — it keeps more vitamins and antioxidants.
Add the mashed potatoes. This is the first layer. About 5–6 tablespoons. Fill each baking dish. You can use one large baking dish instead of three. Then divide all the potatoes into 2 parts. Spread one half as the first layer. Your baking dish can be any size or shape.
Add the ground beef with vegetables. A few spoonfuls. This is the second layer. In each baking dish. Spread all the beef mixture evenly. Now add the remaining potatoes. About 4–5 tablespoons per dish if you’re using three. Or just all the remaining potatoes into one dish.

3.5 oz (100 g) mozzarella cheese. Grate coarsely. Did you know that cheese has been around for more than 7,000 years? It was discovered by accident when people noticed that milk could curdle and turn into a tasty, nutritious food. Since then, cheese has been made from all kinds of milk, creating hundreds of delicious varieties around the world.
Add the cheese on top of each dish. Don’t be shy with the cheese. Cover the casserole generously so it forms a nice golden crust. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for 30 minutes.
5 oz (150 g) white cabbage. Shred finely. Cabbage is one of the healthiest and most underrated vegetables. It’s packed with vitamins C and K, fiber, and antioxidants that strengthen your immune system and support digestion. Cabbage also helps cleanse the body and reduce inflammation. Fun fact — in the past, people even used it as a natural remedy for burns and colds.
Prepare a deep bowl. Add the cabbage. 3–4 ripe tomatoes. Cut into wedges. Tomatoes are like sunshine on your plate. They add brightness to your meals and are packed with lycopene — a powerful antioxidant that protects your cells and helps your skin stay youthful. And ripe tomatoes can even boost your mood — they contain natural compounds that help your body produce serotonin, the happiness hormone.
Add the tomatoes to the cabbage. 1 cucumber. Chop finely. Cucumbers are about 95% water, which makes them great for staying hydrated and keeping your body in balance. They’re rich in vitamins K and C, and also contain silica — a mineral that supports healthy skin, hair, and joints. Cucumbers help cleanse the body, improve digestion, and give you a refreshing boost.
Add the cucumber to the vegetables. 2 cloves of garlic. Grate finely. Did you know that garlic was once used as a charm to ward off evil spirits? Soldiers even put it in their boots to protect themselves from illness. And today, science confirms — garlic really does help strengthen the body.
Add the garlic to the vegetables. 1.75 oz (50 g) canned green peas. 3 tablespoons Greek yogurt. 1 tablespoon mustard. Mix well. Add the sauce to the vegetables. A pinch of salt. A pinch of ground black pepper. Mix well.
Our casseroles are ready! Ouch, still a bit hot! Look at that beautiful crust. Friends, what an aroma! I can’t wait to taste it.
