So the ability to push and pull and stress ourselves physically is greatly enhanced when we have most of the transits, I would say all of the transits from Mars to Jupiter. Um, especially the opposition and looking at the conjunction of Mars to Jupiter. So we run faster, uh, jump higher, we reach farther. These are days where we can get some done when we have, uh, Mars-Jupiter transits because Mars is our muscle power and, uh, it's how we direct our need to win and our, uh, idea of supremacy. So the ego, how, how do we get fired up and what do we do with that? How do we, um, direct the energy of anger? Oh, do we ever direct it in larger than life ways when we have Jupiter that throws fuel onto the fire of Mars? Jupiter's like the bellows that comes in. He turns a campfire into a bonfire. Anytime Mars is in aspect to Jupiter, these are naturally fire planets, and Jupiter has that energy of spreading fire. Yeah, yeah, because that's how you spread the word. Yeah, I mean, Jupiter just takes off. And so it's, it's Mars is like a brush fire, Jupiter something turns it into something that can cover acres. So this, this is a good combination if you can get it. All of the natural elemental, maybe not Moon, Pluto, most of the elemental matching planets, planets that are naturally trying to each other are going to have a really good effect on each other in transit because naturally they have a very, uh, helpful relationship.
We know the conjunctions are the beginning of a new cycle. It's the unity of the last parts of the cycle and the beginning of the new parts of the cycle. So we have folding over here. So we're bringing our action of the ego to, to bear because it's a Mars transit to Jupiter. We're bringing our action of self, our action of ego to bear. So it's what we have learned during the course of this entire transit of Mars to Jupiter from beginning to end. This is the end of it and the, the very beginning here at the conjunction. We're bringing what we've learned over the course of that whole time to birth and inform and fold into a new Sun. So with the conjunction, we have ample enthusiasm available to us. The need to lift, to run, to act on what it is that we feel inspired. And by that day, it, in some of us, our inspiration is not going to be enormous. It's not going to be like we've decided to build the ark. It can be that we're inspired to finish, uh, a project that requires some amount of strength or courage to do. But we set our sights on what we can put our energy into that can contribute to the total new cycle of how we are going to put our own muscle into making our dreams come true. That's the meaning of the total cycle. How are we going to personally pack a punch when it comes to chasing what makes us feel good and bringing that into being? Hold on, I'll fix you in a minute here.
So there's a, a lust for physical activity. These are lusty transits here. I mean, if we could like exercise our inner pirate, we would definitely do it under these particular transits. Real courage that we are enjoying. So we are able to get away with a lot in terms of, uh, being more proactive about what we want, saying no, saying yes, um, because that's really the lesson is being more, uh, in tune with what makes us feel personally empowered. So there isn't a lot of negative consequences for saying yes to what spontaneously may feel good that day. And in fact, it really behooves us to pay attention to what spontaneously arises within us because this is where we can really contact that sparkle that makes us want to get up the next day, that gives us a reason to look forward to the next week. We, for the duration of this transit, and when we do get, I would say, any of the aspects of Mars and Jupiter, we do have that opportunity to refuel our tank. Um, but gosh, the conjunction of Mars to Jupiter is very much when you fire a gun and the, the amount of power that comes right out of the barrel, how right there, like this is this, you know, maximum amount of, um, explosive power, which then over the course of that bullet gliding through the air and meeting resistance and over the course of that distance, that bullet is going to lose speed, lose momentum, start dropping to the ground and giving into gravity. This is that point of saying, you know what, whoa, this is that force that's just coming out of that gate and starting that race. And that horse has a maximum amount of energy, enthusiasm, breath, strength. And so watch when this one occurs in your life because if we know what's coming up and we have some amount of vision or planning, if we can harness it in some way, because it does have that, that boom to it, and it can be somewhat wasted. You have to look at how fire happens, you know, if you light that bonfire all at once, all your fuel can go up very, very quickly or things can go up and smoke. And, um, if you don't know what that's for, you don't have a plan, you don't have some direction to that, you haven't gathered people in time because the bonfire is there for a reason. We may not get to enjoy all the good fortune that a transit like this brings if we lack the intentionality that we need to apply to all transits of fire planets to fire planets or probably most transits of Mars, uh, to planets, but especially most transits of Mars to fire other fire planets and air planets because that's where we can get that rush that we do not associate with water or earth planets or elements there.
If you have something that is a holdover from the last cycle in terms of unfinished hopes or dreams, that can resurface at the conjunctions. It's where we can rediscover that painting or that book or that, um, that, uh, a sense of a hope or purpose that, you know, previous cycles or times in our life we were so driven by the rediscovery of our fire. When this happens, and I, if we don't have a hope or a dream, if we don't have a reason to get out of bed, and there isn't something to carry over in terms of the last cycle, um, this could be when the ignition switch really, really goes off there, particularly if we have other outer planet things going on that imply a change of life direction or change of ideology, a change of, um, what it is that we associate with our hopes and dreams. If we are having a crisis of faith, and then we have a hard transit of Mars to Jupiter, that can be the trigger. That can be the thing that really has us setting off in a new direction in, in new direction in terms of quest. Jupiter's that quest, Mars is where we can take that into our own hands. You take that out of the hands of, uh, you know, teachers, uh, sources of comfort that we've always depended on. This can really be the beginning of the reclaiming of ourselves in terms of our personal direction that could lead us to that peak of the mountain that we find in the 10th house. So Jupiter's what gives us the energy to drive us up the mountain. That's why it's the thighs. When you are going up that mountain, it takes a lot of thigh and butt power to go uphill like that. And once we get to the top, that's where we stand tall, as tall as we can, look around as the spine. Now, that's very much, uh, something that Roberta pointed out. She was talking about the nature of the mid-heaven on the IC just yesterday. That's very much spine, the human individual spine, pointing to a very personal degree of the very, very tiny top of midday, the mid-heaven, and that calling to stand as tall as we can and be what we personally choose. This can be an interesting, uh, transit, it's Mars to Jupiter in terms of looking at when we set off on a new personal quest. All right, so that was more than I was going to say about that conjunction, but that's what it was.
All right, let's look at the sextile. So we know sextiles are cooperative and they bring us and, oh, sorry, they don't bring us the ability to crush our knee. Hold on. Oh, God damn it, that hurt. All right, so sextiles bring us the ability to pull our efforts in such a way that we find that we bring out the best of, uh, those around us, and we can find that our ability to share is something that has a harmonious effect. There's no jealousy. We don't find that there's a need to protect anything when we have a sextile. And this is important to consider when we're looking at planets that both imply the ego and, uh, the reactivity. So when we have aspects that imply measure and maturity, this is very helpful. Um, when we're looking at combinations that can bring reactivity and immaturity or more of an infantile, um, association with them, we're going to get that potential with any of the combinations of the natural fire planets, Mars, Sun, and Jupiter. So with the sextile, um, there's a, a measuring cup that we use. With the difficult transits, there are no difficult transits. All of the, the hard transits, the conjunction, the square, the opposition, the inconjunction, which are not necessarily difficult in that they're going to bring automatically very bad results, they will bring the potential for excess and for going overboard, uh, doing too much, you being too selfish. They are not known as transits that really set us up for the biggest, deepest types of a fall. Um, maybe it's where a clown can go overboard. So we don't use, when we cook with the hard aspects from Mars to Jupiter, we don't use measuring spoons. We're just doing things by sight or by the handful. When we have the sextile, we are definitely using measuring cups, teaspoons. There is an intentionality that is not present there with most of the other transits because we have to automatically share. And to do that, we have the sense that if I want to get the best out of life, you know, during this short period of time that this is going on, then I had better be more measured in my behavior. I had better decide that today I am going to just spend an hour weeding that flower bed, even though my vision for this week is to get this thing completely renovated. I'm just going to spend an hour because that's when I know that I have parents' help from down the street. And so over the course of this transit, we do get things done, but in a more cooperative, measured, intentional, and therefore extremely quietly, quietly effective manner. Mars and Jupiter have a hard time being really effective in most aspects because there's such an overflow of vision and energy that has to be learned to be controlled and measured. So don't have that problem with the sextile. Um, our spirits are high, our positivity is high. What we attract to us is beneficial. People want to help us. We don't have to convince people, um, with any amount of energy with this one because we're radiating this, uh, I guess like jovial, like mild jovial quality. So people want to help us. This is also a good energy to get hired under, to market yourself under, and to expect good results.
Let's look at the square where we have to be careful about how fast we drive, um, the risks that we're taking, the, sorry, the cliffs we're jumping off of. The intuitions and the inklings that we have are pretty big, and we may want to do everything at once. With the square, we can wear ourselves out with the square or the opposition very, very quickly and not have enough in our gas tank. They like finished. We have to double back very frequently when we have hard aspects to Mars and Jupiter in our chart because there's, uh, there's an exchange of available energy and vision. And if that vision is not there, then the energy, it doesn't inspire the energy. So with the square in transit, if we aren't aware that we have a certain end, if we, if we haven't really brought the vision more into focus, then this can be something where our energy just goes in different directions. We can be very ADD with this, and so we may make some progress in several different areas. We may fix the screen halfway, we may water, you know, that plant over there, but miss that one because we got caught up in digging this hole that was halfway dug last week. And so we are making some progress, but there's a challenge when it comes to finishing. So, oh, I know, Tasha, a lot of us with Mars-Jupiter stuff suffer from this. So there's a, a focus that can help if you're having a transit of Saturn at the same time, or if your Saturn is helping in your birth chart at the same time, there's some measure of measurement or of funneling things into. You still can ground.
H, so on, let me read this comment. Mars with Jupiter in sixth house. You and I have a lot. Yeah, I, the opposition, then a really good outlet to Saturn. So we can, you have a lot of the, you experience a lot of similar issues in our life when it comes to not pursuing our energy, perhaps as well as we should. And that's a lesson that we have to learn is how much energy is available, how much time is available, how much resources is available, how much is that in tune with my vision, and how can I bring that into reality? Ground that so that I can gain the self-respect that comes from making my vision come true with my own hard work, and I own that vision for myself. That's not something that religion or the state or family or culture gave to me. That was my, that's my brainchild. And, you know, the kind of confidence that comes from that, that comes, that's the magician that really happens. These are magical aspects. I mean, fire is magic, you know, certain kind of magic type of magic in itself. So yeah, really bringing that stuff into focus, that that electric energy, that's something that helps us prove ourselves. It's being able to collect that and alchemize that and, uh, you, you really be somebody that's forging something that's, that's that action of forging something, being a blacksmith. Here, in fact, Husa, Mr. Calling would be the ultimate blacksmith, they taking that fire of creation and that fire in our belly and that fire of vision and putting it into something that is so solid and so tangible and lasting and forever. I mean, once you forge something, you know, out of steel or out of iron in a fire, that ain't going anywhere. So it's so interesting how you, the disorganization that we can see with the square can really result in us, um, going off half-cocked or doing things that are half-baked and feeling, um, afterwards depleted and have nothing to show for it. So I think that's a, just a very common part of the human condition. A lot of us are going to have hard aspects for Mars to Jupiter in some way, um, but, uh, learning discipline, you know, at the square, figuring, you know, know when this is coming, know when it is coming, already have an idea of where what you want to do with this, and how are you going to measure it out, and also respond to your spontaneity at the same time. Do not cut that off because that's part of the enjoyment of this is is feeling that inspiration really arise in the moment. And maybe that's something that we need to make room for. Maybe we don't have a plan when that square is coming up. Maybe we don't want to have a plan. Maybe this is where we practice acting on our intuition, listening to divine guidance, but put that on your calendar. So there's, there's, you know, certain ways we can get the best out of these transits, but if you don't, don't lose sleep over it because these are generally not the types of days that we are, uh, going to destroy our lives.
So let's look at the trine from Mars to Jupiter. So this is a great trine. Can I just, um, ask a question about this because I do have the square natally and, um, uh, I really, H, like truly, truly, I mean this, um, I have not ever finished one single thing, literally not ever in life. It's a very, it is a very, very, and sonar knows everybody tells me that I'm undiagnosed ADD, ADHD, whatever. And I'm just like, okay, how are you meant to, how are you meant to fix this? Like, what, how, how are you meant to use this energy in the best way? Because I do get very, very excited about stuff and I start everything, um, and then like, you know, as soon as things get serious or it's going in motion, I'm just kind of like, oh, I don't want to do this anymore. This was a mistake. This is really, like, I don't know. I just, I never finish. I never finish anything. Well, that can be a curse when we have this because, yeah, we come out a hundred miles an hour out of the barrel of the gun. And if we don't have mitigating things going on that are going to automatically slow and funnel that energy into something intentional, it's going to take mistakes and age in order for us to learn this. Because if Mars and Jupiter together, I mean, come on, any of the fire planets together is going to increase our meathead aspect in ourselves. And I am so guilty of this. So we are not, we have a sextile with the, as with any of the combination of the fire planets, um, and I, I think that we just have to learn over the course of time how ineffective we are there. There's, I, I just like the big lesson for aspects from inner planets to Pluto is loss, especially Sun aspects to Pluto, Mars aspects to Pluto. We learn through loss with these aspects. We learn from waste and and failure because we did not budget our energy or our resources. So we learn through a certain amount of just ineffectiveness. And and I, I just don't know that there's any other way for us to get it because you don't learn this stuff out of a book. You can buy a planner, you can take organization lessons, you can have a professional organizer come in, you can have somebody, you know, set your clock for you. None of that is going to work. And you know it, Tasha. Yeah, so it's, I know it too. This is something that I've had to learn. This is why I haven't gotten a book written. I got an opposition from Mars-Jupiter. So I got all the vision in the world, but it's the allocation of, uh, time and resources and energy that if we don't get that balance right, it, it's going to take us longer. Even though we have more ability and energy and to put into it, it will take us longer to finish. We're, we're the hair. That's the problem. We're the hair, not the tortoise. Yeah, so, yeah, I mean, the hair, you know, was a failure for a reason. Let's really look at that. Um, he was overconfident. He had too much energy. Kept doubling back, right? He stopped to nap. He'd get distracted. He stopped to tease the tortoise. And he, uh, ran out of gas. And as I remember the story, maybe I'm wrong, but I think the tortoise crossed the line because the hair was sleeping. I don't, I don't know. Um, I don't think I know that story all that well, apart from the hair losing. Yeah, yeah, he was, he was being an idiot. He was wasting his energy. He had all the energy in the world. In the end, he burned it up too fast. He stopped to take a nap. And I think that's why the tortoise crossed the line. If he didn't, I'm rewriting the story because that would be perfectly perfect. So that's, that's what we're, we are, uh, in danger of doing to ourselves is failing ourselves through overconfidence and wasteful energy. And, um, it's, it is a maturation process that we have to go through. And I think also the things that happen with Mars and Jupiter are so often optional. These are not have-tos, like Mars-Saturn. Yes, yes. Yeah, that's another thing why we often don't finish because our dreams are optional. These are not having to put a roof over our head. It's the things that we often want to do. Yes. That's so true. It is not, none of it has been a have-to. Oh my God, that is is so hilarious. Oh, sorry. Oh, no, no. Go ahead. Go ahead. I was going to say, so, okay, so if you just had like, a hard aspect from Mars to Jupiter, then that would imply someone, you know, like you said, like the hair that kind of burns out. But if they were to have the, like, a hard aspect from Mars to Saturn, um, and learn through that experience, then Mars can be like a, I would say maybe like a, a mix between the hair and the tortoise. Yes, you're getting lessons from both. Absolutely, absolutely. And it, it can be harder lessons, particularly if you have the difficult aspects to Saturn. But there is a certain amount of organization or conscience. Mars-Jupiter together is not really known for conscience. Yeah. So we have some guilt that can come in that can help us to organize things, um, if we have some amount of aspects to Saturn or some where we feel like, well, I owe some, there's some amount of owing or taking responsibility that can help us to decide, um, because, I mean, guilt or the sense of responsibility that comes from investment, that can sometimes work very much in our favor. Yeah, for sure. Yeah, I know that story all too well. Something I've had to learn. Oh, sorry, sorry. Go ahead. Sorry. No, I was just saying thank you. Oh, um, well, because I, I actually, funnily enough, I was going to ask a very similar question, um, because obviously I do have Mars-Pluto, that's much closer, and it is in Scorpio. So, um, you know, in a lot of ways, I can plan and I can be slow, but for somehow, I just, even though this Mars-Jupiter is wider, somehow it still, I will still experience, you know, um, just the incompleteness of things. Still, I don't know. I, I don't know. I'm just wondering, I guess because of the sign of Mars and the fact that Pluto involved, or maybe it's maybe it's the Mercury-Uranus too, because that also, right, that gives a lot of like energy, mental stimulation. I don't know, honestly, I don't even know. Well, there's layers of there's layers of things that are going there, but, um, we have to also have to take into account that you have some things very close to your mid-heaven also and a lot of Neptune there. So, okay, okay. All right. Yeah, that's fine. I don't, honestly, talk. I don't have enough mental energy to pick out. Yeah, I was literally, I was literally gonna say, okay, this is this is like veering off off topic. So, um, there's a lot of layers, but I think the, the kernel of it is, you're onto something here, that we, we all, uh, maybe not all of us, but a lot of us have this problem with, um, not retaining enough of our enthusiasm from the get-go. Yes, and being able to stretch that so we do have enough inspiration to fit the project. And I think that's a part of emotional maturity, ultimately, really. It is. It's, it's Capricorn stuff. It's the ability to sit with and, and tolerate delayed gratification. Yes. So that's what the trine helps us with here with Mars to Jupiter, which is what, what we're at now, is the trine. Because we know trines are about patience and natural ability. So with the trine for Mars to Jupiter in, in the natal chart, and and, uh, this is the luckiest, uh, way to combine these. But these are days of the year that we can experience a great deal of landing on our feet. So this is like the cat that has nine lives. So this is one to put on your calendar because when we, these are, this is the hunter within us, Mars, and Jupiter is the assumption that it's all going to work out. And so there is, this is a weird one because they're naturally trying to each other, right? But we associate trines with the potential for waste. That's not generally what happens with this one. That just like with the sextile, there's a maximum amount of efficiency that we can get out of it. But these are days of the year with the trine that we can really look at, okay, that's my goal. This is what I need to do to get there. Boom, I'm there. And it's easy for us to garner the kind of help or, uh, insight or resources, uh, from external sources that might help us to get there. So these are some of the luckiest days of the year if you want to launch a new project, if you want to go into politics, if you want to make a speech, if you want, uh, to put, if you want to win a game. This, these are the days of the year to do that. So I, I think it's a lot of the assumption of success, but we aren't over assuming this is this particular aspect, uh, in transit. This is not associated with failure due to excess. Um, maybe it's because of the relaxed attitude that we get from the trine. The ego is not so fired up to prove itself. I just got it. The ego is not so fired up to prove itself in self-affirming ways. It's more fired up to lend itself to bring one's dream into a way that is more life-affirming or more spirit-affirming, where spirit can really come through rather than feel like we're being driven exclusively by the ego.
So with the opposition, it's going to be a very lucky transit again if we are minding our Ps and Qs and acting in a way that is smart. Um, if we can identify what we want, our timing and our action that we take towards getting what we want can just be right on, and we can be seen as like amazing. There is a potential for a lot of waste though, especially if or missing the mark, especially if we are not conscious of how we are overreaching or how we are overbearing or how pugnacious we can be, especially if this is already in your natal chart and you have the transit. Be careful how preachy that, uh, you are. You approach things as like, I am going to do this and you should do this too, or we are all of the same mind because this is how I think. And if we put our, our own ego into things, our own confidence into things in a very misplaced way or an egoic way, um, we don't get much out of this transit except embarrassment or a minor failure. Um, but oh God, can we ever be impressive if we use it to our advantage in a very mindful way? We can really, really cross the finish line in a confidence-enhancing way where we feel like, God, I did it. And now I get to wrap this sense of achievement, earned achievement, towards something I want, not something I had to do, but something I want. Uh, I can wrap that into this next cycle here because this is the opposition where we have either success or failure because we have that awareness moment. If we lack awareness, then we're going to be a meathead. If we understand what is the goal and act in a measured way, we really, really can ground some vision here and achieve a little bit of a legendary status if we're careful, if we're not wasteful, and if we aren't obnoxious. There is a high possibility of obnoxiousness with the opposition. So the more that we can understand, all right, I got a maximum amount of hair fuel in me. And if I do not realize who my opponent is, opposition, I have to look at the tortoise. Look at the tortoise. Who is the opponent? This is where we fail so much with oppositions. We're not looking at who is the opponent. We're looking at ourselves. We're not looking at someone in themselves. We're looking at ourselves. We're projecting our own qualities onto them and then reacting to ourselves. So if we're not being, um, seriously aware of who it is we're racing, then we are probably going to waste our opportunity when it comes to winning. And it, uh, is one of those archetypal hilarious stories where we screwed ourselves, um, and not much came of it. But a lot could come of it if we win. Think of what would happen, you know, if the, if the hair won, he would have had the, yeah, that applause he was really looking for. Um, but he lost. And notice we don't hear about his entire future being destroyed and him having been defamed and that he was canceled, right? The hair wasn't canceled because he lost. He was, you know, ashamed and definitely sheepish and felt stupid. Um, but once again, these are not the most consequential transits in terms of loss, but they can be significantly consequential in terms of gains. So allocate your energy, realize what, what is it that you want to ground into reality, into reality, go towards that, and don't be a meathead. Oh, uh, giving birth often is is most common often under the opposition as well. But I would say that any of the transits of Mars to Jupiter are going to stimulate the muscles to work, but the opposition is the one where we have a maximum amount of, uh, energy to push in short bursts. Do you see how that is very much in tune with labor pain?
