Welcome to English Speaking Studio. In today's episode, we'll cover an English-speaking Part Two topic: Describe a tourist attraction you enjoyed visiting. Listen to the full response and take notes on structure, vocabulary, and fluency. Let's begin.

Describe a tourist attraction you enjoyed visiting. You should say:

what this tourist attraction is

when and why you visited it

what you did there

and explain why you enjoyed visiting this tourist attraction.

One of the most memorable tourist attractions I visited was Mont Royal in Montreal, Canada. I had the opportunity to visit it during my holiday there in the summer of 2024. It was one of the main destinations on my travel list because I had heard so much about its beautiful view of the city and its serene natural environment. I had always wanted to experience the contrast between nature and urban life, and Mont Royal seemed like the perfect place for that.

I visited the park with some friends, and we spent the day hiking up to the summit. The walk was quite pleasant, with the sun shining and the trees providing shade as we made our way up the mountain. At the top, there is a lookout point where you can see a stunning panoramic view of the entire city of Montreal, including the St. Lawrence River and the skyline. We spent some time there taking photos and simply enjoying the scenery. Afterward, we took a walk around the park, visiting the nearby Beaver Lake, which is a peaceful spot surrounded by greenery. We even sat on a bench by the water, had a small picnic, and enjoyed the fresh air. It was very relaxing and gave us a break from the hustle and bustle of city life.

I really enjoyed visiting Mont Royal for several reasons. First of all, the combination of nature and the incredible view of Montreal made it a perfect spot for relaxation and contemplation. The park's tranquility allowed me to unwind, and the vibrant atmosphere of the city in the distance was a nice reminder of how Montreal blends its natural beauty with urban life. I also enjoyed the physical activity of hiking up the mountain, which was both fun and energizing. Overall, it was a memorable experience that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Montreal.
