Framed this as Zoran Mandani finally admitting it. Workingass and middle class New Yorkers are fleeing the city. It is not just the rich. And the reason why it's not just taxes, cost of living is ridicul.

I'm sure the audience that he's like uh speaking to is like this is so relevant to my life. Uh yeah, and this is also the property tax proposal that is uh going to be the second option if we don't decide to tax the uh 30,000 or so ultra rich that mom Donnie wants to tax. Um but lowering this we can get into the tax policy in a second the poor the property taxes really affect the poor

>> well what they're saying is like what if you just have you want to give your $751,000 apartment to your kid now they're out of luck. But my understanding is it's about a priv primary resident. So you you'd be fine actually.

And then I actually question whether or not New Yorkers really wanted this guy to be in charge of their city or if our system is just so corrupt that evil people will steal power in whatever way they can. Now here's the video from Zoron where he basically says the quiet part. He beat Cuomo in two elections like massively handily despite Cuomo having a massive fundraising.

Amidst being in the wealthiest city and the wealthiest country in the history of the world, we already see an exodus of working and middle class New Yorkers. So I don't have a hesitation in asking those who make the most amount of money in this city or the most profits in this city to pay a little bit more so that everyone can actually stay in this city. It's also something not just about justice or or the ability for working-class people to live here. It is also actually about ensuring that corporations can continue to attract the top talent to this city.

Guys, I'm going to tell you something very very simply and straightforward and I hope Zoran Mandani listens because I genuinely hope he actually thinks about what can make the city better. Guys, I'm going to tell you something very very simply and straightforward and I hope Zoran Mandani listens because I genuinely hope he actually thinks about what can make the city better. Now, there's a reason why many people believe Zoran Mandani's true intentions are to just cause harm and that communists do not have the best intentions in mind. But I will say this in the hopes in the hopes there is just a little bit of Zoran who genuinely wants to help but is just ignorant. I'm going to let you guys in on some internal working secrets.

Why indeed it is, my friends, that powerful corporations are realizing they've lost the media war and they need to get into this space. They're asking questions like, "We have teleprompterss. We pay massive $30 million salaries and these people got no talent." And so, there's a genuine question that's being asked of these media companies. And how is it that these these these podcast hosts have no teleprompterss, turn the camera on, and just run with it? Not everybody, but for me, hey, I'm one of them. They say Tim Pool can literally just run with it. And you know what? Abrasive. I don't swear all that much, but uh it's it works for advertisers. It's compelling. People like this content. He's got a big following. Let's let's give them a call.

I've talked with many companies throughout the years who have tried to negotiate either partnerships or yes indeed acquisitions. They say come with us. And we've always remained independent.

>> But I tell you this, a company says, "We're based out of New York." And I said, "Thank you and have a nice day." Click. Uh, we've had companies ask us if we'd be willing to do our show out of New York. And I always tell them the answer is absolutely not. And they say, "Is there look, New York's got a great talent pool. There's a lot of resources here. we could get you great advertisers. There are big podcasting networks that do ad sales and they say, "We could do a great deal with you. You'll make millions more. Your show will be a lot bigger. Come to New York City." And I tell them this, "The amount of money that I would lose by doing my show in New York City because of their tax insanity means you would have to pay me more than you could probably make on the show."

>> And they go, "Yeah, New York City. By living in New York City and state, I think you're estimated to pay around 13 to 14% additionally as opposed to operating anywhere else. And we're in the DC area. And that means we have a lot of access to political to political talent. Now, obviously, we're currently in Texas because we're doing the show down here. And uh sometimes we we do this because well, there's a lot of guests that don't want to travel. We can get great people by coming to other locations. And to be honest, it's fun. Look, I'm s I work 16our days. I never leave. I eat the same restaurant every

So the story he told was that ultra rich businesses based in New York City were like, "Hey, we got all these teleprompterss and we give people giant salaries. Do you want to come?" And he's like, "You don't have enough money and and you don't have room to raise taxes up there."
