[Music] So I did read that Chesky Crumblo was rated the most beautiful village, medieval village in all of Europe. So the number one thing you got to do when you're when you're in Chesky Krublo is you got to climb this tower.
[Music] Uh, it is like fairy tale perfect here. And the history here, the history dates back to the 1300s, like 700 years old, you know. It's just, it's just beyond amazing.
[Music] So, you know, if you're visiting Salsburg or you're visiting Prague or you're visiting Vienna, you know, that's all within two or three hours bus ride or train ride to Chesky Kromlov. You got to make your way here for sure. You got to visit Cheski Krov. Definitely one of the best things I've ever done is uh make a side trip here. In fact, uh this should be a destination to be honest with you.
So, I spent a week exploring Prague and be sure to check out that video. It's an amazing video. What an amazing time I had in Prague. But anyway, I took the bus right from the station right in Prague. Took me about 3 hours to get to Chesky Krumlov. And uh hang out with me. You're going to love this video.
So, it was a fiveminute walk from the bus station to my hotel. And uh I'm just going to show you my hotel briefly in case you want to have a hotel tip. But uh check that out and then I'm going to give you a an amazing tour of Chesky Kimlov.
So, I have arrived at my my suite, my third floor attic suite here in Chesky Krumlov. I'm impressed. Beautiful old historic building with these exposed beams. And this is a suite uh very unique room. Really, I'm I'm going to be very happy here for 3 days. But the best part is the porch or the deck. Wait a minute. Let me just show you the bathroom first. Uh this is the bathroom. Wow. What a what a great place to pick. I I picked three days here and I sometimes I get lucky. Actually, I usually get lucky with places that I pick. Um, this is going to be a very good stay. Okay, look at the deck or the balcony. And look at the view that I have. Look at this. Okay, so this is my balcony. And get ready for this. And the majestic castle right there. Look at that. Look.
[Music] Okay, so let me take you for a walk around this absolutely amazing little village. You know, it's just awe inspiring place to be. And uh we'll also uh we'll make our way up to the castle. I'll take you all through there. Uh anyway, hang out. You're going to really enjoy this.
[Music] So, Chesky Crumbov is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage city and uh I think since 1992 it's been recognized uh it's considered to be one of the best medieval preserved towns in the world. It's it's stunningly beautiful and you're going to see that in this video. So hang out and enjoy it. Uh I really was in awe the whole time I was here. The Voltava River that flows through this city that it it literally like winds and curves which is what makes Cheskelo so interesting. But anyway, it's the same exact river that flows through Prague. And so, uh, that's an interesting fact, uh, that literally three hours away, it's the same river. It's really popular here to uh to take a little boat ride or a raft ride or a kayak all throughout the river. And you'll see people swimming in the river. The river is very clean and on a hot summer day like I was here, uh, it's it's pretty clean, pretty refreshing swim.
[Music] So, the castle complex here in Chesky Kumblov is the second largest castle complex in all of the Czech Republic and one of the largest in all of Europe. But I got to be honest with you, I think this particular castle complex is more interesting than the one in Prague. So hang out with me and I'm going to take you through there and you're going to see what I mean. It was really fascinating to walk through the castle. And definitely the best thing I did was to climb the tower to the top. You're going to love that. So, enjoy this little stroll through this amazing village. And uh in a little bit, we'll uh we'll get up to the castle and uh and then we'll actually go up that tower I told you about.

Uh I I I can't really say that that's true or not because I haven't been to every single village in all of Europe. But I can tell you it is definitely the most beautiful small town village that I have ever visited in my life. Uh it is like fairy tale perfect here. I mean I've never seen anything like it. Literally everything is perfect and beautiful and it's it's just such a gorgeous place. It's it's amazing.

[Music] >> This is [Music] [Music] [Music] So, this is the uh street right outside my hotel. And uh as I entered and exited my hotel every day, this is what I saw. I ate at this little restaurant one day as well. But uh anyway, I hope you're enjoying this little tour of Chesky Krumlov. I'm going to take you through a tour of the castle grounds and we're going to climb that tower, which is my favorite part of this whole video. [Music] [Music] [Applause] Okay, so we're going to start to climb up the hill towards the castle. And uh and by the way, it's not just a castle. It's much more than a castle. It's got gardens and you can go inside the castle if you choose to. You can uh you can climb the tower as we're going to. Uh, but there's all kinds of grounds in and around the castle as well. So, it's much more than just walking through a castle. There's even a museum underneath the castle in the basement. It's kind of eerie actually. It's a little display of art. I'm going to take you down there. Most people don't go down there, but uh eerie kind of a place in the basement underneath the castle. Uh, I'll take you there as well. So, obviously the higher you go, the better the views get. And uh if you hang out long enough until we go up into the tower, those are the best views of all.

[Music] So, the castle gardens date back to the 1500s. I mean, wow.

[Music] [Music] So, this is the art exhibit in the basement of the castle. I'm talking like down underneath the castle in the foundation. I was the only one down in here and I do got to admit it was a little creepy for me. The artwork is a little bit odd and a little dark. Uh the atmosphere at which you're viewing the artwork made me feel a little strange and you know I had these fears that you know somehow or another the door was going to close and I was going to be locked down in this basement dungeon forever which maybe is the feeling they want to give you. I don't know. But it was creepy, but it was interesting. I'm glad I did it. Okay, so now my favorite part of the video. We're now going to climb the tower here at the castle. And you got to remember this is a 800y old tower. Just amazing. And the reward you get at the top is just stunning. So enjoy this. So, the number one thing you got to do when you're when you're in Chesky Crumb Love is you got to climb this tower for sure. This is the best thing I've done for the whole three days I've been here is to climb up here and get these views here. And the tower itself is beautiful. Super historic. Uh 800 years old. Uh so you got to you got to do this.
[Music] So this is undoubtedly the best view of the entire village city. No doubt about it on a perfect day. I mean we could not ask for better weather. So enjoy this.

They arrive in buses in the morning and then they flood the streets with their cameras. >> Then they leave in the late afternoon on their bus to go. But you know, the good is that they all stay in groups. They all stay with each other. They don't get off the beaten path. So it gives you and I time to really enjoy things, you know, without the groups, without the crowds. So if you're coming to Chesky Kav, um, you know, try to make it at least two or three nights and, uh, enjoy what you see in this video. It's just amazing. The castle, the gardens at the castle, which is where I'm at right now, by the way, sitting here in the gardens. Uh, it's really amazing place. So I have enjoyed it here.
