Welcome to the study of God's word at the feet of Jesus. That's where we are. Hallelujah. Thank you Lord Jesus. What a privilege that we have uh to tune in week in and week out and reach out to you. We are so grateful in this year of rewards where we have seen the Lord reward us in many different ways in our lives and I'm sure you are counting the rewards in your life. Let us pray. Our father, we thank you for inviting us again to come on in and sit at the feet of the master and be nourished. Here we are. Nourish us, teach us, strengthen us, guide us, build us up that we may be effective in your kingdom. We acknowledge the mighty teacher, the Holy Ghost, our teacher and our guide. Enlighten us, guide us, and show us wonderful things in your word. And we give you the glory for it. Bind us together tonight with cords of revelation that are not quickly neither easily broken and we give you the glory for it in Jesus name. Amen and amen. >> Amen. Amen. >> Blessed be the name of the Lord. Thank you so much. Uh last week we uh were touching on the story of the prodigal son in Luke chapter 15 and I think I admitted to you that that story is so rich uh we didn't do it justice. So tonight I want to attempt it again >> in a part two or a build up uh with certain elements about that story. Um there's a reason that story is in the Bible. It's a beautiful story and um let's let's learn as much as we can in the light of the restoration of the soul and the coordinated attack against the glory in the soul which we call tam. So if you are new and you hear us use the word tam, it's intentional. It represent the glory that was locked in the soul. in one of the mysteries of ages that I'm going to touch on and uh being locked there then it manifests in different ways for some it manifests as intelligence and for others it manifests as discretion for other it's perception for others is discernment for tonight I also want you to mark the word discernment as a manifestation of the glory in the soul called the arm. And I will touch briefly on the power of discernment and why it needs to be developed to be your defense in the age of AI. If you don't develop discernment in the age of AI, AI will be used to deceive you instead of blessing you. AI is artificial intelligence. It's here. Can be a blessing. It can be a curse. But it requires the arm in manifestation as discernment to work effectively in uh protecting us. So that being said, our key scripture in this uh study of the soul um and its restoration and its components is in 1 Thessalonians chapter 5 verse 23. The letter of apostle Paul to the uh to those who were in Thessalonica which is uh in Greece. So this was written to those who will have become um the children of God. um not just the Jewish descents of um of Greek origin um but it will be uh the Greeks themselves. Um so it will have been written to people that one yes they are Jewish maybe with Greek origin or mix. The closest we have famous today is Beni Hin. Benin is is Greek. Grew up in Israel among the Hebrews. So he's a he's a Greek Hebrew. Something like that. Some of you didn't know that. Ben grew up in Israel. >> Glory. >> And his father migrated to Canada and from Canada they went to the states. Uh that mighty man of God. So blessed be the name of the Lord. I'm just giving you an example that the people are reading about in the Bible they are alive today you know meaning they are type and kind are still in existence today among us. So this is written to the those in Thessalonica and uh today the famous church in Thessalonica is uh of wise men Harry uh the spiritual son of prophet TB Joshua. He went there and he opened Thessalonica. It caused so much damage to the kingdom of darkness there. They rose up against him. So he had to change the name but he didn't change the acts of the spirit through him. So the name has changed and they can accommodate. You know, if you are if you are a man that serves God and then um even after you died, people are afraid of your works. >> You must know that you are dangerous. That that's TB Joshua for you. Even his name in Thessalonica that they couldn't bear it. So wise man Harry wisely applied wisdom and he changed the name but he didn't change the spirit. Spirit is still working as it was um squad. Just giving you an example. So if you are intending to go to Greece for vacation whatever it is please remember to go to Thessalonica. you will see uh Thessalonica exists and there look for a church of wise men Harry and there you will see the power of the spirit of God in operation today in the same area where this letter was written uh to so in 1 Thessalonians 5:23 it says and the God of peace oh glory to God why does the verse introduce him as the God of it says And the God of peace sanctify you holy. Set you apart holy. Holy. Not from holiness. From holiness. Whole. To be whole. To be complete. To be perfect. Nothing missing. He says the God of peace. He he he wants you to be set apart and whole. And he says, "And I pray uh I pray your your whole spirit, not part of it, your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ." So which means uh both all the three parts that make up our being the spirit, the soul and the body must be preserved and preserved in a particular condition. That condition will form the prerequisite to make it when he comes. I'll repeat that again. The spirit, soul and body must be preserved in certain condition. In that condition, they will meet the prerequisite to make it when he comes. That is Christ Jesus. And remember he's coming in faces you know in his coming when we say second coming in its strict term the second coming of Jesus in its strict term when I say strict means if you are going for the right application where it is he is coming the second time with the church. Okay? But he needs to first get the church out in the rapture. So, but if you're not strict in terms, you can say the second coming of Jesus has the first part being the rapture. The second part being the second coming with the church at least after seven years um after rapture and then he comes down he touches the earth in the first part of his second coming he doesn't touch the earth he stands in the sky and then he calls his own his own will be in all different places they might be at work might be sleeping um there might be a sports field might be at work, in the field, livestock, whatever it is, wherever they are, they will hear a voice. Now, it's important that if they're going to hear a voice wherever they are, therefore there is the condition that their spirit, soul, and body should be in. So, they are in position to hear that voice. I hope you understand that. So they should be able to hear the voice. It will be a trumpet but it's an intelligent trumpet. When it blows it subdivides itself into unique and distinct name calling is the one that John had when he heard John which will probably have been Yanan. Johannan, come up here. You know, he said it was like a trumpet talking to me, but the one blowing it is blowing a sound. But the sounds of God are intelligent. The smells of God, fragrances of God are intelligent. Everything that comes from God is intelligent. I tell people if God was to sneeze, you know, sneeze like and then you take out sneezes and then they are scattered all over the place. Each of those sneezes will be intelligent. >> They can form particles and matter. They can manifest into something. So that's why if you encounter a heavenly heavenly flower, you will find that it's an intelligent flower. That's what makes them to have life. They have life. They are given life which makes them intelligent to an extent that if you step upon that flower it will come back again and it may look towards you and you will feel like this flower is looking at me but it will come back to life. >> It's not like you will step on it and feel oh I stepped on this flower I feel so sorry. The fly will tell you don't worry there is no death here we're alive I'll come back again and you'll come back again now this you may think this is overexaggerated but it it's it's the mentality you should know about God and that's what the Lord Jesus he says for thine is the kingdom the power and the glory he summarizes God in that prayer by saying for thine is the kingdom the power and the glory you You may need to meditate on that to understand what the master meant there. Everything about God, it's powerful. It's glorious. Everything in his kingdom, it's powerful and it is glory. Everything has glory associated with it. Okay? >> Blessed be the name of the Lord. Hallelujah. So understand then that you know God is in the restoration business. is restoring the soul. So your soul will also need to be in a particular state when he comes. I believe that our contribution in the current study is the conditioning of your soul. Understanding that in most cases most people are all right in their spirit because it's born again. But their problems is the condition of their soul. And that's where some might miss it. That's where some might not make it. Um talking of making it the Bible is quite clear that with regards to the second coming of the Lord which the example is used is the the the marriage of the 10 virgins having to wait for the bridegroom. And of course that story, for those who have been with us for a while, you know, we spent time teaching on that story in the light of a Jewish wedding. >> So I hope you understand. Unfortunately, if you haven't heard it, you know, it's not time for that because that's not the intention to go through that whole story. But you can't understand that story if you don't understand how a Jewish wedding is conducted. You do understand that the way Africans conduct their wedding is not the same as the Chinese. It's not the same as the Indians. It's not the same as maybe the Europeans. You know, you may adopt few things there and there, but generally there's difference. So the Jewish wedding had the hallmarks of how Matthew 25 uh plays out and you need to understand that. But what I wanted to show you is if you were to go and then you have got 10 virgins. So five were considered wise. The other five were foolish. wisdom and that foolishness was it the condition of their physical body? No. They were all qualified as virgins. Okay. Which means from that qualification you tick the box. Okay. The condition of their spirit you know they are all right. That's why they first year waiting for the coming. You see they they are all right. But there was a state that their soul was in which brought about the condition of not being ready for the Lord. >> Amen. >> And that's what disqualified them. So the disqualification of the five virgins was the condition of their soul. more so than the condition of their physical body. They had preserved themselves. I hope you understand that that story teaches you that sometimes people could be physically pure but emotionally impure. You didn't hear. >> That's what the Lord Jesus was trying to address when he starts to teach people that you that only focus on the physical. You end up even making the best to stone and then you forget that inside is dead bones. They focus on the cleaning of the cup on the outside and forgot the content inside. >> So therefore, as as good as it is to dress decently, we must also be decently dressed inside. Amen. In what the Bible says, the hidden man. First Peter chapter 3 speaks about the hidden man. Hidden man. Hidden to what? To the physical eyes. So when he was writing the people were overemphasizing the physical condition. Praise God. >> Glory. Do you know that a person can look physically sharp? Physically sharp. But inside it's a turmoil. They are in confusion. One of the things that that surprise many people is when a person who's physically fit and maybe they exercise which is good bodily exercise the Bible says it does profit even though its profit is little compared to spiritual exercise. So bodily exercise, physical exercise must not be neglected. But one of the questions that people have is where you find a person who's physically fit but they have a heart attack. >> Amen. >> And they have certain manifestations that on paper they should not have because they exercise, they do this and this and this. You see, it's because people forget that physically you can be all right but the condition of your soul is something else. I mean I can jog worried. Did you hear what I said? >> Yes. I can be jogging but those jogging stings is my worry moments and you can't you can't see what's going on in my soul but you may commend what's going on physically. So that physical work has not reached the soul. Therefore, it profits little, which means its profitability is limited to the physical body. Now, we are not belittling people that exercise. I hope you understand that. >> Amen. >> Huh? >> Amen. >> I hope you do. But some of the wrong relationships, they start in the gym. With all those muzzles out, with all those things that are out, not everyone is focused on the machine. There are other people who are focusing on other things. Physically, they are good, but morally terrible. Morally terrible. We are talking married people. that hook up in gyms and places of exercise. How did I get here? The way you people are giving me attitude. I I just want to leave this up. I'm trying to make a point. It's a I'm trying to make a point of physically the person can be very strong >> but they lack restraint. All right. >> So, how do you weigh those things up that well this person is physically fit? We have seen them jogging. We've seen them exercise. But boy, they are anger. You see that's something else. >> When they angry, they use those muscles to break stuff. M >> and then you have somebody who's not physically fit which we are not condoning but emotionally or inside they are quite stable. The story of the 10 visions is is emphasizing that is that physically you may look okay but emotionally solically if I can use that word you are in turmoil. If we inspect the condition of the soul of the five foolish virgins, we will all come with conclusion. Foolish. Foolish. Foolish. When they are waiting for the bridegroom, what are their thoughts? We will conclude foolish. Now you can't see those things. All you will say is well they keep themselves pure physically and it's all right. But the Lord Jesus says the things that defile the man is those things that come from inside. >> Amen. >> Glory. >> Including evil thoughts. They may be virgins but they are full of gossip. So if you go there where they were waiting, you find pure young girls. Let's look at their dress code. Welldressed decently hairstyle well done. Jewelry right choice. But okay, hear what they say. Hear their speech. Hear the expression of their thoughts. You will conclude all such things with an assessment that says foolish, foolish, foolish, >> foolish. >> Now, if you looked only on the outside, you will have missed it. >> And I hope you understand this is what I'm trying to tell you. Even if I'm going to the gym and so forth. Look, if you just came from the gym, I'm not talking about you. Glory to God. Don't worry. You continue to exercise. It's good. However, we are also answering a question which many people have. I don't understand. There is a man or a woman, they don't jog, they don't go to the gym, but the condition of their soul may be peaceful. And the last step required is for them to put exercise boldly and then they will profit both sides. And I hope you understand and and the emphasis there even by Peter was on the inside says the hidden man. The hidden man is subdivided into the spirit and the soul. It's hidden to the physical eyes. The hidden man is subdivided into the innermost man called the spirit and the inner man called the soul. >> Both of them form part of the hidden man and they live in the exposed man called the physical body. So let's understand that when he says I pray God sanctify you holy. >> You see the God of peace sanctify you set you apart holy. And I pray God your whole spirit, your whole spirit, your whole soul, your whole body be preserved blameless unto the coming of the Lord Jesus. He is emphasizing the conditions that spirit, soul and body, we should be in a particular state. >> Amen. >> In which when he comes, we will make it. >> Amen. So because of the condition of the soul of the five foolish girls or virgins when he came they were disqualified because they were not ready. And the reason they were not ready is because their level of foolishness far superseded the benefits of virginity. it far superseded and he who was coming he put value in the different things. Okay, he puts value in the different things. In first Peter chapter 3, we are told that God put value in even what our spirit possesses. So if the spirit possesses meekness and it's a quiet and a meek spirit in the sight of God, it's of great price. >> Amen. >> What it means is God values it more than other things. >> Amen. >> I hope you understand that. >> Glory. >> And it's important to find out the one you are trying to please. You must find out what they value. >> Amen. So when he when he came, the the the bridegroom when he came, the young ones or the the virgins, they thought he values virginity more than the condition of their soul. >> And they found out that he was not like that. because that which they think um he values can be lost. They won't remain virgins after marriage. You see, but that foolishness they possess, it will form and break that marriage. Once he is married to them, the hidden man will manifest whatever they were entertaining. >> Amen. >> I think it's lending. So there is a condition of the soul that the soul must be in. Blessed be the name of the Lord. >> Now the soul is a phenomena. You know people the soul is such a phenomena even to this day we are still studying the soul. >> Amen. We call that field dedicated to the soul psycho logi. Psychology of logic. And we are still discovering so many things about the soul. Whether you want to divide it into the conscious and the unconscious, the subconscious, it's part of our understanding of the soul. Understanding even behaviors, the behaviors that we see, people behave this way. But what produces this behavior is things that are locked up in the soul. So the the soul is of great study. We continue to learn, we continue to study about the soul because it's a phenomena. even on at sports level. Now they are going deeper and deeper in sports science. Understanding that even a soccer match >> can be worn based on they call it relationalism relationship where certain soccer players it's almost like you can read each other's mind. You are so intertwined. When this one has the ball, you know if you move there, he's going to give it to you. And he already knows you're going to move that way. >> So even when you look, even when they look for soccer stars, they look for those that relate to that level. And when you get them, that team will that team will dominate. the the team will dominate will be very very dangerous because they are realizing that the soul it influences every part of our existence and yes it is true this thing called the soul we know that it was a product of reaction. You have two things that come together is the breath of life and the dust of the ground. When they come together, they merge, but they are at their contact level. They could do something that was not there when they were independent. M >> for lack of better expression it will be like a husband and wife they meet and they produce a distinct thing that was not there and if they had stood aside this being will not be there I think that's probably a better expression this an independent me. So the soul was a phenomena. Now the Bible teaches us that God when he does things he foresees risk and he does not stop doing what he wants to do he rather mitigate. I will repeat this so you can understand how God thinks because that way of thinking must also become our way of thinking so that we do not live our life in fear. >> If God is planning to do something by fornowledge he's able to see this thing this will happen that will happen which is good this will happen which is bad. So the bad that he sees does not stop him from doing what he intends to do. >> When God intends to do something, the benefits far outweigh the negatives. >> And therefore by eternal assessment, eternal assessment demands that he must continue doing what he purpose to do. No, this will help you. When God is embarking on a journey and he foresees the rain, he does not abandon the journey. He prepares an umbrella. >> That's God. He does not abandon the journey. He changes the day of the journey. Did you hear? >> He changes the time of the journey. He makes provision for trouble. Glory to God. >> He is the God that makes provision for trouble. >> Glory. >> I want to give you just few mysteries that are called mysteries in the Bible. When it's called a a mystery, it means it's a secret. Now, if it's a mystery or a secret, it means it may not be attained by too much thinking, by too much thoughts. It may require revelation from God. There are some things that are hidden that when a veil is removed and you see them to you when they become revealed it may look obvious. Yeah. But what you need to understand is why couldn't you reach it naturally. You know what the Bible says the natural man receives not the things of the spirit of God. They are foolishness unto him. Neither can you know them for they are spiritually discerned. 1 Corinthians chapter 2. So there there are mysteries. Let's look at uh some of the just some of the mysteries from the foundation of the world. Look at I am making a point here. So take note at this point. I am making a point. I am substantiating my point that the issue of the soul it coming together it was one of the divine secrets >> and the fact that when it comes it will be distinct and it will have its own glory called it was one of the secrets so I'm I'm trying to show you some of the secrets that God has done before the world began when he saw that there will be trouble and he did see when he was making this uh the soul that there will be trouble for the spirit. But in case the spirit is in trouble, the soul will still remain with its glory before it's tempered with. Let's look at John 17:24. I just want to show you some of the things which are mysteries. the the things that were established before the foundation of the world in John chapter 17. This is the prayer of the master, the Lord Jesus Christ. Verse 24, look at this. Father, I will I will that they also whom thou has given me be with me where I am, that they may behold my glory which thou has given me. For thou loved me before the foundation of the world. Do you hear what Jesus says? He says, "Before the foundation of the world, I was with you and you loved me." Why? Because after he is born, he will go through things that can make him question if God loves him. >> Yes, >> you didn't hear that. When he remembers the love of his father before the foundation of the world, whatever he goes through here to question that love, he will never question it. None of those things will move him and shake him to question the love of his father. And Jesus went through a lot. So the love relationship that God had with him with Jesus before the foundation of the world it was intended that when he is manifested as a man this is the secret that when he's on that side and he feels the hatred from people where he feels being undermined rejected betrayed when he feels When he remembers how God loved him before the foundation of the world, that love will overwhelm every situation is going through in the land of the living. >> It's love that is demonstrated so that when you're in trouble, you remember that love and its memory heals you in the present. >> Did you hear that? He he remembers when when the Pharisees are looking down upon him, rejecting him, questioning him and he's overwhelmed by the thought of rejection. He must remember the love that God had before the foundation of the world. When he remembers that love, that love sweeps away his current present emotions of being overwhelmed and it brings healing. That's why Jesus will make such statements as no man can take me out of my father's hand. Says nobody. He was sleeping in the boat that was overflooded. Why? He knows that my father loves me so much. If it means I drown and he raises me from the dead, he will do so. He is so con convinced. No, he received that love. And that's important because it it's a it's a what you call love deposit. It's a powerful principle. Love deposit is you love people to an extent that even if they walk away, one thing they cannot question is the love you had for them. It's called a love deposit. Don't be afraid to deposit love every opportunity you have in people's life. that that for me that's my purpose. I want to love the people so much that even when they walk away they will think about that love glory >> that they will remember it and it will pull them back. That's the best you can do. >> It's loving people. love them that even when they go they will remember the love because they may not get it to that degree where they went. >> And you know this is in line with the prodigal son where he went the coldness he felt he remembered the love of his father. So his father loved him. So love people in your life. It's called a deposit of love. It's a love deposit. >> Amen. >> Do and give love deposits. All men but what? >> Love. Don't owe people anything. The only all you have it's a love deposit. So deposit love. And there are many opportunities to deposit love. Okay. There are many opportunities. You know, other people will call it a love language. Find out what it is that makes people feel loved and give them that thing. Deposit it intentionally. Love deposits are not by mistakes. They are intentional. They're purposeful. You are doing it on purpose. >> Amen. >> Because you don't know what tomorrow may bring. >> You see, people sometimes get overwhelmed by many things. Have you seen people when they are going through a lot for an example maybe they lose their jobs some are going through divorce during that time in most cases they blame the wrong people they find fault with the wrong people you know they are going through something with that individual but it's everybody body else fault including people who were there to support them. So they find fault with them and the result is they walk away. But if you have loved them when they are out there they will find out it's cold, it's hard, they left the right people for the wrong people. And what will happen? Love will pull them. Love will pull them.
