Oh, this is the second part of our sinistry course. Last week, we talked about how the angles are very important, and how the sun and the moon, specifically to the angles, is very important and something to take into first consideration. Do we have that personal pairing there? We talked about sun to sun, we talked about sun to moon, and we talked about moon to moon. Is that right? Is it okay? I thought so. All right. But teaching a few classes, I'm trying to keep them straight here. So, um, we are probably going to get through everything today and maybe a little bit more. I was surprised by how much I was actually able to cover in the last class, so we should be able to stay on on cue here. Um, so, yeah, so you make sure I'm recording. I go back up. Excellent. Okay, so let's start with talking about the sun and the moon through the science, specifically as it relates to synthetic compatibility. What are the specifics of the needs that we're looking for there?
So when we're looking at the sun here, I got to get a new setup here, it's just all wiggly. We're looking at the sun, we're looking at how does someone express their personal vitality, their ego, and specifically what kind of appreciation and validation are they looking for in a row? Very important thing to consider, because what one person, the kind of applause that one person is looking for, is not necessarily the kind of applause that another person is looking for. So how do we stroke each other? How do we, um, acknowledge each other's need for, you know, feeling like I'm showing up, I'm being acknowledged and valid here in this world?
So looking at the sun coming through Aries, the essential need in Aries is to assert our right to take up space, our right to be. That's the, the psychological function behind Aries is to, to, uh, stake our claim. So with the sun in Aries, the, the need for validation, appreciation is very much acknowledgement of someone's abilities, their strengths, the, the way that they, um, are able to, to reach out into the world and make their dreams come true. So really acknowledging what it is that they are proficient at, what it is that they're accomplishing.
So, um, when I was growing up, my father actually owned a chain of Subway sandwich restaurants, and he was talking to me one day, and he said, there are several different kinds of employees. Some respond to money, some respond to praise. Some respond to, I have this list of things, but those are the two that I really remembered that he was talking about there. And with the sun in Aries, we do very much appreciate praise, just praise for who and how we are. And that's true for all the sun signs. The sun signs like to bask. Look at how we bask in the rays of the sun. We want to bask in the rays of the compliments and the rays of the acknowledgement. So there's a stroking of one's actual ego that is, is really what someone's really looking for.
Um, a second here. Oh, no, that's going to take about five more minutes to cool off. So there's a, a, a need to verbally assert our compliments with that particular sun sign. Uh, we have to be pretty, pretty, uh, plain about what it is that we think. This is not a nuanced sign, Aries. Uh, we can be, as I would say, as, as crude with our compliments as we'd like. You know, even, you know, one of these or fist pumps or, you know, all of that counts. This is all something that goes to, you know, making them feel in a relationship like, like they're noticed and they're really seen there.
Um, so let's look at Taurus and, uh, what Taurus is really after. So Taurus is a more, uh, the feminine, introverted, yinny sign. This is a, a sign where it's not, um, such an overt acknowledgement that we're looking for. It's an overt acknowledgement that we want in in Aries. With the sun there, the sun coming through Taurus is more acknowledgement through, um, you know, looking at one's gifts. You know, what is one produced? Yeah, what, what, what, what is their qualities of beauty? Where their physical qualities? You know, acknowledging, appreciating. And even if you're, you know, with say, a Taurus sun that is not the hottest match in the box, there are certainly things that we can pick out that we can, we can complement, that we can honestly appreciate. I once was, you know, dated this guy who was, he was, he was rough. He was a little rough, but he had the sweetest ears I've ever seen, and they were like perfect ears. And I would go, there, you know, these, your ears are just, have you ever noticed, like the perfect human ears? And I found something, I found something. So there's a way that, um, you know, we can like pick and choose because they want to have the like, the nuances of of who they are and what they look like, what they have to offer, their, um, artistic skills. Say we're with somebody who likes to paint or, you know, produce art. Even, you know, like my sister, she likes to put glitter on shelves and stuff. It's one of her funnest things that she has to do. That's her definition of what's beautiful, what's art. And, and, um, I've actually been able to find some really nice places for her glittery shelves in my greenhouse. They're perfect in that setting. They're absolutely what I was looking for. So I sent her a picture of her glittery shelves, and that's a way that we can acknowledge whatever it is that somebody produces or has to offer. And you just make sure we're telling them, you know, have you ever noticed that you have the most beautiful feet? What is up with that? Nobody has beautiful feet. Say it. We want to verbalize what the qualities of that self are.
Okay, so we move on to Gemini. Okay, so Gemini sun, the need is for the acknowledgement of one's ideas and skills. So there's, there's a mental connection that planets, all planets in Gemini are looking for. So acknowledgement of what one can do in the world, what are their daily accomplishments? So, you know, asking someone about their day with, you know, sun in Gemini or sun in Virgo, that's a big part of things. And with sun in in Gemini, you'll want to give them the opportunity to respond because it could be a bit lengthy. So there's an invitation to share and to acknowledge what someone knows, to ask them questions, to have them be able to, to express themselves through communication. More time spent and attention to what their opinions are, what is their viewpoint. This all goes to boosting their self-confidence and making them feel acknowledged, validated, good about themselves. So there's a nerdiness with planets in Gemini, planets in Virgo as well, because these are information and analytical signs. And, um, you know, really acknowledging what someone has done in their daily life. I, you know, something simple, because we do things, little things with Mercury either in Gemini or in Virgo. So the identity is wrapped up more in the daily life or the little things. So say, you know, our partner takes out the garbage, and this is a routine, of course, but we would want to acknowledge it frequently. Like, oh, you check out the card, which is wonderful. I hate taking out the garbage. I'm so glad that that's yours, your job and not mine, and you're just so good about it. I really appreciate that. These are little things. These are things that acknowledge who they are more on a daily basis or what it is that they're doing. So we're not really looking so much for the grand gesture, but definitely for acknowledgement of what they know. And strokes come through, um, you know, ego strokes come through, um, you know, more practical acknowledgements of who somebody is.
Okay, um, so let's just move on to Cancer. And, uh, so acknowledgement of one's feelings, hearing someone. So it's more like quality time that we want. We're looking for time spent. We're looking for, um, belonging with planets in Cancer. So acknowledgement of what someone has done for us, how someone has cared for us. This is also a burger thing, you know, stroking the ego, letting them know, you know, you've provided such a wonderful meal or such a wonderful home. Or so the, the ways in which they care for us, the Cancer person, we want to reflect that back. We see that, we understand that. So there's a, um, picking out the things that we think or suspect the Cancer sun person may themselves treasure. So if they have spent time say making a meal, we can see that they put something into it. If we are really enjoying that and acknowledging that we're enjoying that, that goes a lot to making them feel like they are noticed, they are appreciated. So what they have to offer is a lot of what we need to, to understand and really reflect back. Um, oftentimes making time for people with Cancer sun, like, you know, taking them away. We want to, uh, you know, have time set aside to just build that bond or to nurture the relationship. So that can go a long way towards making them feel good about themselves, making them feel like they are so valid that we're setting quality time aside. So that can be a big part of, um, I, you know, them wanting to open up themselves. Cancer moon, I'm sorry, Cancer sun is looking for, is, is looking for, is, is looking to be noticed. This is the, the crab within the shell. So if we are acknowledging what it is that we suspect may be very important to them when it comes to us, it brings them more out of their shell, a little bit more out of the shell, a little bit more out of the shell. And pretty soon they can be really loose about how they care for us. It can be something that's, you know, more of a, they can take some risks with that, maybe some, you know, make something new for us for dinner that they're not really sure about, but they know that we will gush about it, no matter what it is. So it gives them this confidence to try, this confidence for self-expression.
So, um, the sun in Cancer, and you can have a little bit more of a hard time. This is not an overly egoic or confident sign to have the sun in. So we want to help that along. Sometimes we need to clap a little extra hard, a little bit louder, to get that person to come out of their shell a little bit more, bit by bit by bit, and help them build that confidence when it comes to who and how they are. So there's, here's an interesting, uh, there's an interesting way that we love the Cancer person, and, um, they can definitely grow and blossom and open up over the course of time with that position of the sun. Um, any observations about the sun and Cancer or questions? Oh, okay. Let's move on to Leo.
So this is the sign that the sun rules. This is the natural position of the sign. So Leo has a reputation for being a bit vain, a bit self-centered. Um, Leo wants praise in general. And if we can act just a little bit jealous, that also will help the confidence of the Leo person. Even if we're not jealous, just a little tiny bit, oh, they will puff up. The men and the women with the sun and Leo. So there's, um, a competition. So the sign of competition, of games, the sun in Leo. And if we can, you know, build their ego, stroke their ego through sometimes the illusion of competition, which is like just a little tiny bit of jealousy, that can, that can go a long way towards making them feel special, making them feel like I'm wanted, I am desired, I am worthy of being fought over. It's, it's a wonderful thing that can, um, uh, bring that, that sense of being noticed or, you know, confidence through, more ego stroking means it's just very plain with the sun in Leo. We just want to stroke that. So there's, um, appreciation for one's accomplishments, for who one is, just appreciation in general, just acknowledgement of who and how they are. Um, it's not so much for the specifics with the sun in Leo, but just a general acknowledgement of what it is that they do. Um, so we just want to make sure it's not so specific like it is in the other signs, because the sun is just naturally in Leo itself. It rules a sign of Leo. Um, the sun in other signs is more specific, you know, acknowledgement of, you know, skills or of, uh, of, uh, you know, what we produce or, you know, different things or our sexuality. But the sun in Leo is just a general acknowledgement of, I see you and I appreciate you. So appreciation in general, expressing appreciation, even for mundane things, that can go a long way towards building that confidence and making them feel like they are really noticed. Anybody have any questions about Leo? All right, so let's talk about Virgo.
So sun and Virgo, the need is for the, um, the appreciation of validation. Uh, it's very similar to Gemini, but more, um, about what someone has, has, has done, like their, their practical accomplishments. Um, acknowledging what they've learned, their, their brain, their abilities. So it's not, so much stroking the ego through physical means, but through what has someone accomplished or learned or practiced till it was perfect. So, um, like, uh, you know, say somebody loads the dishwasher. This is a very simple thing. Someone loads a Virgo sun, loads the dishwasher. We would want, and it would be rather, you know, arranged quite well. So we wouldn't want to acknowledge that, wow, you know, everything, you get everything to fit, that is amazing. It's like all symmetrical and it all fits and it's all actually gonna be able to run at one time. You're like a wizard. It's those little things, you know, how ingenious they are in little ways. So, you know, acknowledging how they've put something together, um, how they have taken care of something, how they have served us. This is a big one. Notice how they have reached out or served you or done something for you. That goes a long way towards making them feel seen because the ego is building through acts of service. It's, it's building through, you know, being more selfless or taking care of others or extending themselves. And you want to make sure that that's noticed, or they can start to feel very depleted. They can feel like, here I am, you know, mopping the floor every day, so you have a perfectly clean floor. And, and they would really like you to acknowledge that. So oftentimes, sun and Virgo can suffer because we don't notice the little things that the ego is doing to build, confidence and and validation. It just seems like, well, you know, it's just part of life, you know, mopping the floor is just part of life. But we have to acknowledge how it's done so well, or it's done, you know, so regularly, or, you know, how their unique touch has really been put into that. And that goes a long way with that kind of personality.
Uh, so should we talk about Libra? So with the sun in Libra, this is where the sun can also have a bit of a hard time. This is not an egoic sign. This is a sign that's about we, not me. [Music] So we want to acknowledge how someone is a great partner, how they are a wonderful harmonizer, how they have brought two things together, their sensitivity, their giving. This is a very refined sign, Libra, and it's a classy sign as well. So if we're, you know, really trying to make somebody feel important, buying gifts, this is a good one for the sun in Libra, because we would want to give them something that we really have thought about. We've really put ourselves in their place. Leave rewards here. We put ourselves in their place and thought, you know, if I, you know, knowing what I know about her, what is the one thing that he or she would really, really want the most? So there's a way that they can be touched through, through gifts, acknowledgement through knowing that we've spent time. It means something to them, even if we give them a card. But in their mind, see, it took time to do that. We had to go pick it out. We had to stand in line. We had to assert ourselves. There's more than just the card that's meaningful behind that. So, um, in enriching their ego through giving them more, beautiful, refined things. In Taurus, it's interesting, it's more acknowledging their beautiful or refined things. But in Libra, it's often giving them the beautiful or refined things. So a little bit different there and how those two things operate. Um, so we want to, you know, remember to bring flowers. Um, I have a couple of neighbors where he's actually the Libra sun, and he's the one that gets the flowers because he loves them. The tulips that are in the house or the fresh roses, they're always for him. So there's a giving, a giving of ourselves, a giving of gifts, big, big part of romancing the Libra sun. Any questions about that? Um, we're getting through this a lot faster than I thought we would. Joe, would this be applicable if somebody had Venus in Libra as well? Similar? Very similar to the sun and the certain signs. Yes, very similar. But Venus is more how we specifically give and want to receive gifts. So the sun in Libra is like double gifty, you could say. So, um, there's, you know, an appreciation for how someone loves us as well, how someone treats us, acknowledging how someone went out of their way for us. This is the relationship sign, acknowledging what someone has done within the relationship or about the relationship. Um, it's not hard to stroke the ego of somebody with the sun in Libra because there's all already such a sort of deficit of, you know, feeling personally important or having that personal identity. So we want to do what we can to, to, to bring that up to, a feeling of confidence or strength. And oftentimes, complimenting just for the sake of seeing the other person in a good mood or seeing the other person smile, that could be very helpful when we're dealing with Libra sun, because they can use the acknowledgement. We don't want to keep that to ourself, even if it's something simple like, you know, your hair turned out really well today. Usually it's kind of looks like Sputnik up there, but it looks really, really good today. Can make us really, really happy. So it could be more simple to do with Libra's sun. Tosca, hi. Yeah, I was just wondering, one of my really good friends, he's a Libra sun, and everything that you said about the gifts is true. But he is literally, he's sort of the most fixed and stubborn and, you know, he's just so, he's just that. Nothing else about him is like a Libra sun. But he does have, um, he has Venus and Mars in Scorpio. So, is that why that it, it just overshadows the Libra sun? Yep, that's going to be a huge part of the personality because that's how he's going to socially relate to people. And Mars is how he's going to get things, how he'll do anger, how he'll assert himself. So you're looking at the social components of someone's personality in a very different expression, yeah, in Scorpio. And we'd also want to look at the house that Libra sometimes falling into. Just something that I've noticed with them is they really like to be approached first. They're so much more, they feel more comfortable when you go up to them because they want to, you know, because they want to know that you're interested. And they, you know, like you mentioned that there, there's like a classiness, like a grace that they want to have. So they don't want to, go up to somebody and, you know, that they, that they don't like. And so I think that's just a big thing as well. Yeah, there's a refinedness or a femininity to that particular, well, it's a masculine sign, but it has, yeah, I want to say, [Music] your classic dating, your classic or typical dating relationship. Let's look at that. That always starts out with the man calling the woman, the man paying for the day, the man approaching. So that would be that sign, that energy that we're looking for in that sign of Libra, because it does, make it possible for us to then have enough confidence to assert ourselves. But let's look at the opposing sign of Aries, where we just assert ourselves. We're not waiting for the reaction. It's just completely initiatory. So in Libra, that's the response to that. We're waiting for that initiation in that particular sign. So that can make them feel really, really good. If you chase them, they love that. Aries wants to chase, Libra wants to be chased. So yeah, that's a very, very good thing to add. I love that. Yeah, yeah. But just make sure you're not too aggressive, or else then they'll get turned off as well. No, they don't think you're busy. Okay, so Scorpio sun wants to be seen. The sun is in a place of of darkness. Let's look at that. It's like our identity is covert. And so if you can really make them feel like, you know, you see that goes a long way. So, um, we, we want to call them out every once in a while. Call them out in a way that is not cruel, but that lets them know that, you know, you know that they really like key lime pie. You've been watching them, and every time we go to Cherie's restaurant, you were the key lime. I know a secret about you. So we want to tell them that we know their secrets. Even though they think that they don't want us to know, we want them to know that we know. So there's a, there's like a forced acknowledgement of their identity, a forced acknowledgement of their ego. And, um, it can build confidence. They can, you know, make them feel like, I, you know, you, wow, you know, you really get me. You got me. And that's why I know you get me. That's so interesting. Um, I find myself doing that with with people in my life as a Scorpio son. I'll like notice little things. Oh, you like your coffee this way? So that's what I got for you. Or I noticed you don't like tomatoes on your burgers. Yeah, yeah, absolutely. There's, yeah, a noticing of their secrets as well. Yeah, sometimes, you know, calling them on that, that, uh, it, but in a loving way, in a way that, uh, you're like, um, yeah, we're accepting what it is that it is that we're finding within them. So it could be a fun game to play. Stroke the ego of this Scorpio son. And we want to look, we have to play detective. We want to notice. We want to pick up on what it is that they don't know that we know. And, you know, just looking for their little secrets, looking for their towels, for their little quirks. This is very helpful for making them feel like I've really been seen. If you found them out, then they've been seen. So anybody have any questions about that? Tosca, so one of my other really good friends, he is a Scorpio sun. He's actually a Scorpio stallion, and he's been in a long-term relationship with a woman who, um, he actually doesn't, you know, they don't know whether they're going to stay together or split up. But one of the main reasons that he doesn't want to split up with her, even though he sort of does, is because she sees, like, she knows him. She knows all of his little quirks and all of this. And, and he's just like, I cannot go through being exposed all over again with somebody else. Is literally exactly what you said. And I had no idea that that was a Scorpio trait. That's that's hilarious. That's hilarious. That just reminded me of something my mom said a few months ago. My daughter was talking to her, and my daughter, she is so funny. She just asked these really weird questions out of nowhere. My parents have been married 50 years, and she says to my mom, what would you do if Grandpa cheated on you? And my mom says, well, first of all, I know he wouldn't cheat on me because someone would have to see him naked. So part of the, yeah, I don't want to be exposed again kind of mentality there. You've seen it all. I don't want to go through that again. Oh my god, that is so funny. Yeah, he's a modest one there with all of these planets in Cancer. And she has all of her planets in Aries. So it's pretty fun. Um, any other observations about sun in Scorpio or questions before we move to Sagittarius? I guess, um, my Venus is in the eighth house, and I have a snowy house. So my boyfriend's a Scorpio. So I just can confirm that this is their way of flirting. Is, you know, I'm like, honey, you do this on this day, or like, you like your tea this way. And he's like, oh, so you know me. Yes, they, they love it so much. I mean, I like it too. So it's very, very cute. And I love Scorpios. Yeah, the sign of detection. Uh, can I just ask, with a Scorpio sun, um, can they also be quite unforgiving? Well, I mean, is that just a Scorpio? Yeah, in general, it is. Any planet in Scorpio is gonna happen. Oh, yeah, yeah. Their share of holding grudges. That's a, that's a big. And once a planet in Scorpio does, the door slam, that door does not open back up. So, and that is any planet in the Scorpio. It's specific to that, that planet. Yes. Yes. It's, it's, it's not going to be someone's entire personality, but it can be a part of things. Like, God, you know, socially, romantically, say we have Venus in Scorpio, as we do, the door slam, it ain't open enough. As opposed to like Libra, you can probably get your foot back in the door.
So Sagittarius sun is looking for, um, acknowledgement. Acknowledgement of one's, what one has to share, their ideas, what they've been through, their experiences, their ability to inspire. They want to feel that they are contributing some meaning, some goodness, something, uh, something more to your life. So this is a sun sign that very much responds well to planned trips, to planned time away, for going on mutual adventures, even if it's just making time to go to the museum or go to to do something that's a bit novel or, uh, enriching. So you want to acknowledge how someone has enriched our life when we have a partner that has the sun in Sagittarius, or say it's a child. We want to really communicate to them how the space they take up in our world, the, the, um, the ways in which they have energized us or brought us a sense of personal growth. You know, you have inspired me to do this, or to know this, or to become this. So they feel that they are personally significant to the larger scope of life. Sagittarius is the sign that we associate with things that are larger than life. And when the ego of the Sagittarius individual really feels that they have contributed something meaningful, they've been a catalyst for growth, that is so, that just makes them feel warm all over. It is something that's affirming. So really affirming how they have brought something positive to your life. So it's also the sign of confirmation, confidence. The confidence part is something that that we can enhance. We can acknowledge how someone has done right. My mother used to say to me, how did she put it, um, uh, how would she put it? I'll have to ask her again. She hasn't said in quite a lot. She's just say when I was young, like, uh, pay attention to what someone has done right today, or acknowledge what someone has done right today. And with the sun and Sagittarius, there's a kind of a righteousness that we associate with that sign, with that energy. And if we can confirm how, you know, they have, um, inspired us or they have done something that was right or correct, that itself goes a long way. Any ideas or comments about sun and Sagittarius? It's not a very complex sun to deal with, actually. You don't have to do a ton with sun and Sagittarius to, you know, make them, you know, feel like they're acknowledged or showing up. Um, socially, if, if we can engage them socially as well, so other people are noticing them, just a very social sign. If we can, um, you know, introduce them to groups or to activities or just to different modes of life where they can feel like, um, they're getting to showcase their talents, they're getting to showcase who they are. It's like we can share them. They like that a lot. So like double dates, where we're, you know, communicating or partying with other people. It's a very social sign. They like to have a good time. Um, I think that they also really want somebody that has strong opinions that is able to kind of bring that to the table and challenge their belief. I think more than a lot of signs. Like if you're not coming from a different point of view or perspective than them, then they'll get bored and they're on to the next thing. And so I think it's always interesting that they, they welcome, they welcome challenges and differences. I feel like a lot more than other signs. Well, let's look at the opposing sign of Gemini. Absolutely. That's where we find the facts, we find opinion, we find debate. So yeah, the, the, uh, the need for for food, for fuel, is, is, uh, met by ideas, conversation, opinions. This is what, uh, sparks that adventure for knowing or for no, for for more, for knowledge. So absolutely. Yeah, they can be, very much consumers of other people's information because that, that's a good way to fodder for conversation.
Let's talk about Capricorn. Yeah, I see a lot of yawning. I should think about moving our time up a little bit earlier per house if that works for everybody. So, uh, Capricorn. So sun and Capricorn, we want to be acknowledged for what we have accomplished, for what we have done, for what we have worked at. It's not a showy sun sign. So really looking at, you know, what has someone practically done. So say we have somebody who, a partner that comes home after work, and, um, they're, you know, going through their routine, and we just stop them and say, you know, you've really done well for yourself. You've really come a long way. I mean, look at what you've accomplished throughout your life. And in a lesser way, we could just, you know, say something like, horses, I haven't done them yet. No, thank you. My husband's going to feed the horses for me. Yes, we can go longer. Um, so, you know, just acknowledging, you know, hey, that was awesome that you got the, uh, the award for, you know, whatever it was. But, you know, we want to show them that we see the marks that they're getting, the mark they're making on the world. So it's, it's not, you know, noticing the most, uh, flowery things about a person. Not so much about the, the looks or the feelings. It's what have they produced? What have they done? What kind of marks have they put on their belt? Um, and we may have to look around sometimes to find some of those, those compliments. Uh, it could be something as simple as, you know, what you have really done so well for this family, because we have this home, we have this home to live in, and it's a stable home, and we get to live in this great place. And maybe it's not our dream home, but, you know, what, we're really happy here. I really appreciate this. So we, we just want to acknowledge the bones of life, the skeleton of things, the bare bones. That's all Capricorn stuff. So if we're looking at what they have really put their blood, sweat, and their tears into, that's a big part of things. Um, so practical example would be like, um, you know, my husband said to me a few months ago, you know, I'm really proud of what you've done. You know, you built this business all by yourself. And, you know, you've really come a long way with this. When you first started out, I just really didn't really understand, you know, what all of this was about. And because he's not into astrology, very practical minded, and, you know, it really didn't make sense to me, but it, you know, it, it really does now. So that's one of those things where we just want to point out what has someone done. Um, my daughter, another practical example, she cleaned up her room the other day. Wow. And I acknowledged that. Oh, this is awesome. You got your room cleaned up, and you did a better job than I could have. This is really quite something. I mean, it looks like a real, true, full-fledged adult cleaned up this room. This is amazing. And she stood up a little taller. He did something. I don't like. So we just want to look for what are the things that they have really toiled about, toiled on, worked on. Say we see it. Any ideas about that or comments? No, Capricorn is not the chattiest sign.
Aquarius. Aquarius sun people. Okay, so Aquarius and people want to be acknowledged for their personal creativity, similar to the sun, but more what their, um, their, their ideas, their possibilities, their crazy. We want to acknowledge the crazy with the sun in Aquarius. How are they different? How are they special? We want to show them that we see how they themselves are a very unique individual. So looking for how it is that they personally stand out, communicating to them how they did something differently than everybody else was super, super awesome. Um, they want to know that you see their qualities of special differentness, whereas see in Capricorn, they're more looking for you to acknowledge their qualities of, you know, how they have participated, how they have built, how they have sustained. It's more, looking for, I know how someone has just applied their brilliance to life, even though it may not have worked out at all. Their uniqueness. If we can look at what it is that makes them stand out. Does anybody know any Aquarius suns? Have any in their life? Ah, a few of us do. Lots of us do. Wow. That is so, then you know, if you do, um, if people do natal charts and sinistry charts without looking at parallels on contra parallels, are you potentially just missing half the story sometimes? Yeah, sometimes you may, you may. And that's easily to something to see on the graph. You just have to look for that, and they'll come up. Yeah, that's something. Sure. And I tend to, yeah, and I just tend to be me everywhere I go. And, you know, it was just a real contrast in the way we operate. Yeah, absolutely, absolutely. Semi-sextile signs do have marked differences in how they express themselves because they don't have anything in common. So we do have, an, uh, odd attraction to each other when we have, um, planets in in conjunct signs or in semi-sextile signs in sinistry. It's like there's the exotic difference that we want to explore. So you would think that in conjunctions and, uh, semi-sextiles or planets in in conjunctions with semi-sextile signs, you think that we would turn away from those in relationships, but especially in romantic relationships, we tend to find those very, very interesting. Now, after we start to engage with each other, we get to know each other, things start to settle down. That's when they start to show up as annoying. That's when we start to see that, oh, you are so different from me, and it is irritating. So it's something we want to look into. We find it like fascinating in the beginning. They were like, oh my god, please. Sorry. Is it the same as square signs? Like in conjunction? No, squares are different. Squares are really different. They're not, um, it's not like this, this pull towards something that's so different. There's, you know, this exotic fascination. Uh, it's more of a attraction through tension. It's different in how they operate. And they do tend to have the tension show up right from the beginning, not like an inconjunction or a semi-sextile where it takes some amount of settling into the relationship before we start to see that we're annoyed. Yeah.
So sun in Pisces, we want to be acknowledged plainly and simple. Plain and simple, we just want to be acknowledged. We want to be seen. We want to know that we are, were noticed. The sun in Pisces can have our identity be unknown to us. The person with their sun in Pisces, it could be a mystery to them who they themselves are. So we want to reflect back to the person with the sun in Pisces what it is that we see, what it is that we know. What we want to give them information about who they might be. So acknowledging, uh, various things about them, um, really making it a habit of of reflecting back to them what we're seeing. So practical examples would be like, um, you know, and I noticed that when we're at the party, that you were really able to get the people who weren't joining in to start, you know, joining the party. There's something about you that really makes other people want to participate. So we're giving them information that they are able to, you know, be a bit of a, a social emissary in a certain way. Or, um, I noticed that, uh, you know, when I stopped by and saw your work today, that the other people really have a deep respect for you. I mean, you're really important at that company. You're somebody. Here's the clue. You're somebody that really brings something to a company. You're really good at what it is you do. So we want to reflect back to them who they are, what it is that they're actually doing in the world, what are their actions. Um, it can help for people who have the sun in Pisces to hear the consequences of their personality, just what is it that they do well, who are they? And if they, if you are with somebody who has the sun in Pisces, and they do have some identity problems or some identity issues, and you know that about them, it's going to be extra important to pay attention to what it is that they love, what it is that they prefer, what are their passions, what is it that gets their engine started and wants them and gets them wanting to move to initiate to do something. That's a lot of their solar power. The solar power is what is, um, essentially motivating factor for life. And oftentimes, we do not know the nature of our own solar power in the sign of Pisces. So we would want to pay close attention to what it is that excites them, that ignites their fire and their passion, and be able to tell them, you know, I noticed that when you're, like my husband, he was joking with me the other day, says, you have such a passion for gardening. I mean, as soon as the sun is up, in fact, before the sun is up, you're out there. You come into work, and then you're back out there. And then when you come in in the evening, you stand and you stare out at the garden. So it's like you're always out there. So that would be one thing that we could reflect back to somebody with the sun in Pisces. We could say, no, I've noticed that this is something that just really takes you away. Have you noticed that you're a gardener? It's not something that you do, it's something that you are. Or, um, you know, say somebody, you know, comes home from work, let's say they're maybe a school teacher, and you can reflect back to them, you know, you are just made for this kind of work because of your compassion. And I, I can really tell that you have a passion, not just compassion, but a passion for what it is that you do. So if we can help them to know what it is that is the source of their vitality, that can be very, very helpful. That can put them even in contact with their own self-esteem in the first place. So we want to, to notice what makes them happy and what spirits them away and to compliment them when they do those things that they do do those things. Pisces sun, it is not the strongest egoic force. And if we can help to ignite that egoic force, that's a wonderful, compassionate thing to do. So also acknowledging how someone has been compassionate and sweet, how they have been helpful, how they have been a savior to someone else. And sometimes to remind people with the sun in Pisces that they don't have to be a savior to other people either, and we will still love them. Does anybody have any comments about Pisces sun, something to share? Yeah, oh, go ahead, Emily. Oh, sorry. As a Pisces son, Pisces stallion, um, my boyfriend is a Scorpio. His cap, his Venus is in Capricorn. One of the biggest moments, I think, when we first started dating was, I was a little lost in my career, very Pisces. And he came over, and I remember he looked at my apartment and he was like, you're really good at design. He was like, this is beautiful. You're creative. Like, why aren't you a designer? And that's what I am now. So I, oh, so he gave, he acknowledged that creativity because I think as a Pisces, we, I can mal adapt, daydream all day, but I need the, the Scorpio and I think Capricorn energy, especially to give it. It's not just feedback, but practical feedback that I can use and actually put into motion. Um, it's like been my career for six years now. It was amazing. Wonderful. Yeah, that practical feedback. Excellent, excellent. So it really worked for you, that handling. Yeah. Um, I think someone else had a comment. Is that right? Yeah, my, my last act, my last ex was a Pisces, and, um, I think it's kind of something similar they have with Virgo, kind of like a martyr complex. But, yeah, he was kind of responsible for taking care of a lot of his family, and they kind of guilted him into it. And so a lot of our relationship with me, like with me encouraging him to sort of like get his own life, you know, it's not fair for them to burden you with with taking care of them because, you know, I mean, yes, they're, they're family, but I mean, he, he didn't really have a great childhood. So I, I was kind of making the case like, how much have they really helped you in return? Yeah, that's wonderful. That's wonderful. I think that, reminding Piscean people and Virgo people that they don't have to be a slave to their compassion, and that's often in service to their identity anyway, they can free themselves from that. Um, can I, can I ask, the descriptions that you gave for the Pisces sun, can that be somewhat applied to a Pisces ascendant? Yes, it's different in the sense that the ascendant, both the ascendant and the sun are both two parts of the ego. So the ascendant is the id, it's the most primitive, primal, basic part of the ego. The sun is the teenage ego, it's the identity, it's more of the conscious ego. And then we have Sagittarius, which is the super ego. All of the fire signs show the success, successive development when it comes to personal ego. As all of the, the different, um, elemental signs do. We have, um, development of ego and the fire stands. We have development of of, um, the physical self and, you know, what's mine and property in the, [Music] the earth, earth signs, yes, thank you. And then we have the development of our ideas and our learning and our language and the, uh, communication and the, the air signs there. So they all have their, um, push, you could say. So the push in the fire signs is the ego. And so the ascendant does have a similar quality to it, a similar idea as the sun, but it is different in that the ascendant is where we assert ourselves most, uh, unconsciously. So it's like the part of our self that we become in most situations, especially unfamiliar situations, that's the ascendant. It's the first layer of our personality, the very first layer of us. The sun is something deeper. The sun is something that you see, um, after you get to know us a little bit, you start to see, whoa, what is it that that person wants to, you know, be known for or applauded for. Um, and then if you get to know us more, you might get to see a fair moon, and you might get to see our superego as well, which is our idea of right and wrong, immorality, and the meanings that we give to things. And so there's this progressive, you know, way that that we reveal ourselves. So, um, is the dupe, so Jupiter is the super ego? And so you have the super ego? Yes. So what you said about the ascendant, so is it true what they say that, um, you know, astrologers are most able to tell your ascendant when you're drunk? Probably so, because it disturbs the chemicals in the brain and you are your most true self. Interesting. So you're either a funny drunk, or a mean drunk, or a generous drunk, or a reflective drunk. But yeah, I would agree with that. Okay, interesting. Thanks. I'm a little surprised. I, I would think it would be like moon, big super ego, or the moon being what it is that you show. Yeah, the moon being like how you present when you're drunk. I, I think the id is more in line with that because we're uninhibited. Think of the nature of Aries, no inhibitions whatsoever, it just goes straight into the fray. So, but I see your point there, absolutely. I think the moment is more our need, uh, or our emotional issues or psychological issues are showing why we're drinking in the first place. So it's the deeper, the deeper thing there. Um, okay, guys, so we were gonna get through the moon in the signs today, but we've already been in this for two hours. Are you guys tired? Should we add another lesson, or do you want to keep going? What are you thinking? Do you mean add another lesson? Sorry, did you mean add another lesson on another day? Yes, on another day, or we can move the moon, we can push the moon over into next week. What do you think we should do? Because we've been here for two hours. You want to show up hands? Yeah, additional lesson, hands up for additional lesson. Oh, one, two, three, four, five. It's about half and half. You're putting me in a Libra position here. Oh, okay. I'm trying to figure out how to put up a hand so you can count my hand too. Okay, I'll figure out how to break the tie. Um, so let's then push this over into next week. Um, let's see. How should we do this? We can either meet again in the middle of the week, or we can meet again next week. Should we just meet again in the middle of the week? Yes. Does that work for everybody? So we just have more time all together? Okay, middle of the week. So let's try for, um, does Thursday work for you guys? Yes. Six, this, this time on Thursday? Yeah, okay. So I'll send out a mass email to everybody who signed up for the class, so everybody has a chance to join. And we'll see, maybe that'll work better for a lot of people. And, um, we will pick up the moon in the signs at that point. Okay, so we have plenty of time to dedicate to that subject. All right, guys, so I will send out an email reminder for that additional lesson. And if you guys, um, have any questions about this lesson, we can, uh, start out the next lesson with those questions. Okay, thank you so much. Joe, you got it. Thank you. All right, see you soon. Good night. Okay, hey.
