[Music] hi beautiful Souls its Han here today with another video on the tips for the Saturn in the houses and science and today we're going to be doing Saturn in the 4th house or Saturn in cancer or Capricorn rule in the 4th house.
So I have made a video about Saturn in the 4th house, I'm talking more looking more deeply into the karmic patterns of having Saturn in the 4th house. So I'll provide a link to that video up above in the description box below. So if you haven't watched that, I recommend that you watch that video first to fully understand comprehensively, you know, what your karmic patterns might be and you can come back and watch this video.
So if you have Saturn in the 1st 4th house, the first thing that I would recommend that you can do during your Saturn return, maybe before your Saturn return to prepare for it, which is at any point in your life, it's to feel at home. So, you know, this can mean feeling at home at your job, at your work, in your house, but also by yourself. So, you know, if you're looking to feel at home within your working environment, this can look like bonding with the people that you work with, getting to know your colleagues and sort of, you know, maybe bringing something for them to eat, nurturing them a little bit, and having a little, you know, making, you know, feeling like the people that you work with in your working environment are family.
But this could also mean, you know, setting your boundaries when it comes to people because feeling safe wherever you are is going to be really important for Saturn in the fourth house. So setting your boundaries when it comes to the people that you work with so that nobody can, you know, do things that make you feel like they've stepped into places where you don't want them to step into and they're sort of taking advantage of you in certain ways because that's gonna make things, cuz that's gonna make, you know, your environment seem more dangerous and threatening to you. So safety is really important.
Making yourself feel at home with yourself means staying home and having a cozy environment. Maybe you watch your favorite series, favorite movie, maybe you eat comfort foods, journaling what you really think and feel, and allowing yourself to have a safe space when you're alone to be whoever you want to be. Maybe you're listening to music that brings you comfort. Meditation, you know, it's really useful because you're really getting in touch with your own thoughts, your feelings, you know, meditating and really feeling, you know, your heartbeat and how your body is working. Taking a, you know, taking a bath and, you know, feeling, you know, to being naked in the bathtub and to feel like your body gets a chance to feel safe.
Feeling at home in your house can mean finding a place that really belongs to you, that is safe for you. Redecorating, and you don't have to spend a whole lot of money to redecorate. You can just, you know, clean, choose the, you know, clean the curtains, clean the place, or move your furniture around. You know, have the right kind of, you know, pillowcase or wallpaper color that really reflects who you are. Going on to nature and picking, you know, flowers to put in your house, having candles lit up to make you feel, you know, nurtured and safe, warm. You know, making your home your home, your home is important with Saturn in the fourth house.
So the next thing you can do if you have Saturn in the fourth house, Saturn in cancer or Capricorn ruling the fourth house, is to trace your ancestry because, you know, a lot of the times with having Saturn in the fourth house, it can be hard for you to find a sense of grounding because, you know, you don't, you know, because your roots, your family, you know, builds who you are. And the understanding of who they were and how they have shaped you, it's going to help you to make you more grounded and rooted in your environment.
So this could mean, you know, looking at, you know, there's lots of online platforms out there that offer like a database where you can search for your ancestries. But this could also mean, you know, going to your grandparents' house if that's possible and looking at old photos of them or their parents, your great-grandparents, reading letters maybe of things that they have written, artifacts, you know, things like that, little treasures like that that you can find at their house. Talking to them, talking to elderlies and interviewing them about their past, how they came to be where they are, where they actually came from. You know, it could be a really fun process.
Take a DNA test. You know, those DNA tests they have nowadays and you can just order online and swipe and you get, you know, your sort of ethnic backgrounds, something like that. But remember that this, you know, this can take a long time. So you've got to make sure that you keep going in this, you know, project. We can even call it. It may be years, maybe a year-long project, maybe it's a ten-year project, depends on how deep you want to dig into your ancestors. But yeah, I think that that is something that, you know, you can really feel more whole when you know where you came from.
The third thing that I would recommend with Saturn in the fourth house, in cancer or Capricorn ruling the fourth house, is to get intimate with yourself. So, you know, if you can trace back your ancestors, you know, number two, and you find a sense of grounding, now it's a time for you to get intimate. So you're not sort of being restless and going over the place and you can kind of sit with yourself and be intimate with yourself so that you can open up that sense of being able to be vulnerable to the people that you're with and be intimate with the people that you're with. You know, what you may find deeper within yourself, it's going to be okay if you have traced your ancestry because, you know, that who whatever you are partially, it's coming from your DNA, your genetics anyways, right?
You know, this could be sitting with yourself when you have certain emotions, certain feelings, you're sitting with yourself and locating where in the body this feeling is coming from. Sometimes from the throat, sometimes it's from the stomach, it depends on where this feeling is coming from. But being able to identify that, knowing the root of your feelings, you know, will help you to and accept that about yourself. Don't judge, allow yourself to feel that. That is being intimate with yourself. That is being compassionate to yourself.
Try asking yourself the big questions in life. And there's lots of, you know, intimacy questions online where you may, you know, they have like questions that you can ask your partner. Instead of asking a partner, and you can ask those questions to yourself. Things like, you know, what is your purpose here on earth? You can write a letter to your soul. The soul is there in you somewhere, find it and write a letter to it. Say hello to it, ask it to guide you where you need to go in this life. Ask your intuition to be guiding you where you go in life. Embrace, you know, your soul.
Or you could even see a therapist and talk, you know, vent everything that you have inside of you to a therapist, preferably a female therapist. The fourth house, you know, can kind of rule the mother figure and being in touch, being close to another female and having them understand your vulnerabilities is going to be important.
The next thing that you can do with Saturn in the fourth house, and Capricorn ruling the fourth house, or Saturn in cancer, is to patch the relationship with your mom. Now, you know, Saturn in the fourth house is known for having a difficult relationship with the mom, and the mom somehow been difficult and sort of because she had to take on the more authoritative, a dominant role rather than the father. If you are, if you feel that, you know, your mom has said things or done things that has stepped over your boundaries, if she was not your parent, if she was just another adult who is older than you, will you let this adult treat you in certain ways or not? And if you think no, then the first thing you can do is to tell them, tell her what your boundaries are.
So if she says something like, you know, you're not good at your job at what you're doing, you should be doing so and so. If she, let's say for example, speaks to you in a way that is a bit too harsh, if she swears a little bit and things, you may want to tell her that, you know, you speaking in this tone to me when I haven't done anything wrong, or saying these words to me when I haven't done anything wrong, it's stepping over my boundaries. You need to stop it.
And then what you want to do is you want to validate her ideas after that, and you want to say, now I know where you're coming from because she's probably coming from a place of love. She's probably coming from a place of, you know, wanting to care for you and looking out for your safety. So you can validate what she has to say. I know you love me, you know, I know that this is coming from a place that you really care about me, and I absolutely understand your idea, and I know that what you're telling me has worked for you in your life, and therefore you are, you know, advising me in this, and I really appreciate that.
And then insert your perspective in there with regards to whatever that's going on in your life. You know, say in a way where first of all, you show her that you are just trying out this thing that she may not be approving of, and then offer back up for it and offer a reason that has to do with sort of worldly reasons, reasons and reasons of sort of addressing world issues, and keep it within the present moment. Don't refer back to the past.
So you might say, you know, I'm just starting my business, but I'm just gonna try, you know, I'm gonna try for a few years to see how it goes and back up. If it really doesn't work, then, you know, I can go back to my life, you know, as an in the corporate world working for so and so company. But I've got to try out this business first because I see there's a lot of people in the world who are, you know, having issues with blah, blah, blah. So, you know, therefore I want to try this out. You did not refer back to anything in the past. You did not say I've always wanted to do this my whole life and it's like my passion ever since. That's referring to the past. You stick to the present day. You say you're trying it out, you have backup, and you relate it to a world issue that's gonna kind of, you know, allow your mother or mothering figure to sort of not feel like she has to defend her opinions with you anymore.
And then after that, you know, after you've made your point, once there's no need to try to reignite this conversation again. You cut the conversation, you cut the drama, and then you turn the validation inwards. Because let me know, most of the times having Saturn in the fourth house and the mothering figure may not have time or may not feel like they really validated your achievements or your your goals in life. And so it's like the mother who was supposed to be a mother was more like a father. So learn to validate your own self.
And the best way to do this is by looking at yourself as an outsider rather than from an insider. And you can do this by referring to yourself as you, your name, or you. So instead of saying that, you know, I really want to start my business even though my mom doesn't approve of it, but I know that I really want to do it and I'm gonna make it. I know that I have the willpower to make it. Instead, we want to say things like, you want to start your own business and, you know, you know that your mother's not going to approve of it. When you know that, and then when you start using you, you can see that a prospective chips. But you know that she's just looking out for you and she's just really worried about you, and you care. You know, make her understand you. So, you know, just pursue with what you're doing and try the best that you can do, and don't push yourself too hard, don't judge yourself too hard.
You can see how when you're looking at yourself from an outsider, there's way more compassion, there's way more faith than you would have if you were looking at yourself from an insider. So that is a really great way to nurture yourself, to validate yourself in that sense, to sort of even be a mother to yourself.
Which leads me to the last tip for Saturn in the fourth house and Saturn in cancer and Capricorn ruling the fourth house, it's to be a mother, mother to whichever area of your life that your moon is in, or whichever area of your life is ruled by the sign cancer. So you want to see which of your houses is ruled by cancer and where your moon, which house your moon is placed. So, you know, if for example, you know, the moon is in the 10th house, you know, you may want to nurture your reputation. You might want to have a nurturing reputation, which can mean that you at the work environment, you're somebody who's sort of maybe takes care of people, you bring food for people, you treat it like a family, you take them on outings, you nourish them, you give them gifts, you remember their birthdays, like a mother would.
You know, if for example, cancer was your fifth house, you may want to nurture your creative projects. You may want to give it birth and make it grow, your creativity. You may want to make that grow. You may want to engage in romantic relationships, nurture your fine romantic side of you.
Yeah, guys, now I want to talk to you, you know, about a couple of books that I think might be very interesting if you have this Saturn placement. So the first book is called Homebody by Joanna Gaines. Basically a home decorating book, and I think the pictures are absolutely beautiful, and I think can bring a lot of comfort to those who have Saturn in the fourth house. And even if you never really carry out any of her techniques or decorate your book, your house in such a way, I think you can still find a lot of comfort just reading this book in general.
The other book is called Intimacy: Trusting Oneself and the Other by Osho. He's a pretty interesting, you know, spiritual teacher and guru. But this book really talks about how to be still within yourself so that you can approach other people from a place of calm and trust and runner and allowing your vulnerabilities to be accepted by other people and accepting other people's wrong and vulnerabilities as well, and building intimacy on that.
Movies that I think really resonate with having Saturn here, it's Autumn Sonata. This is an interesting movie of a mother-daughter relationship. I think the interpretation of this movie is open to the viewers. You can sort of just, it's just really interesting to see the dynamic of what could possibly occur between mother and daughter.
Another movie is Who Do You Think You Are? It's sort of a documentary on BBC One. It's about, you know, Daniel Radcliffe and a lot of famous people who are sort of searching for their ancestors. And if you're in the process of tracing back your ancestry, you know, watch this documentary along the way. You know, it can bring you a sense of comfort that you're not the only one doing this.
A series I really like that is related to family is The Fosters. You know, there's some, the two women there, a gay couple, and they adopted some children, and they have adopted a lot of children. And I really think that, you know, the sort of messed up relationship that's going on between these teenagers in the movies who are the children, it's really, really chaotic. But at the same time, it allows for you to sort of feel a certain sense of compassion towards kids in general and to feel like, like you're involved in this family journey and to see where they're gonna go. It brings a certain amount of sentimentality to the viewers.
