So, your cell phone is more powerful than you think. You can install an app called Acurass and get paid in crypto every single day to help out with AI compute.
What's going on, crypto miners? Welcome back to the channel. Today, we're talking Acurass, a platform that allows you to take a new, old, or broken cell phone and put it on their network to earn you some crypto every single day. Now, it doesn't matter if we're going to use your daily driver or a cell phone sitting in a drawer. We can use all of that to go ahead and earn crypto.
So, in today's video, I'm going to go through what in the world is Acurass and how does it work. I'm going to walk you through step by step with your cell phone, how to set this up, and then I'm going to go ahead and do this on 20 cell phones and build a massive AI compute rig with cheap, low-end cell phones.

All right, so in 60 seconds, let me explain exactly what Acurass is. Acuras is a beginnerfriendly crypto project that turns everyday smartphones, new or old, into part of a global decentralized compute network. Instead of relying on giant data centers, Acuras uses the unused processing power inside your very phone to run secure tasks for AI compute, web 3, and other applications.
This solves a major problem in today's tech world. Compute power is becoming insanely expensive. Have you seen the price of GPUs and memory recently? It also has become super centralized and controlled by just a few big AI companies. By spreading that compute across thousands of phones worldwide, Acuras makes it cheaper, more private, and more accessible for developers and small businesses.
For you guys, participating is simple. Miners can connect their spare or retired smartphones to the Acurass network like you're going to see today that I'm going to do and earn their ACU token as payment for providing compute.
Acurass officially launched its mainet on January 20th of 2026 and is currently priced right around about 10 cents per token. So just within the last few days, Acuras went ahead and launched something called codeame cargo which pretty much is adding containerization directly on their platform. And what this is is this is technology that allows Linuxbased containers to run securely on their decentralized network, more specifically the smartphone hardware. These containers are enabling developers to deploy versatile workloads including Python, Go and Rust within the hardware directly on the network and within the environment on the Android devices.
Now, this is a big deal because this is allowing Acuras to really step into the ring with a lot of other big AI compute platforms.
This is quite a site. Look at this. Don't let this intimidate you. We're literally going to break this down and make it super simple. So over here we have something called a cell hasher. I've actually done a full 20 25minute video on this. So if you guys are curious, you're like, "What in the world is this?" I'll leave a full link to this directly down below. In simple terms, this allows us to slot all of my 20 cell phones that I'm looking to do today into this power and manage them very simple and easy. So check out that video directly down below.
So, here we have 20 Samsung cell phones, and they're all going to get slotted at the end of this video in this celler chassis setup. But first, we're going to get started with this guy. This is kind of going to be our primary main cell phone for today's video that I'm going to walk you through with you guys how to set up step by step. So, let's go ahead and jump in.
All right. So, there's two ways to go ahead and onboard your device onto the Acurass network. The first way, which I recommend for your daily driver, that's what we're going to call this, is the fact of installing from the Google Play Store an app that is called Acurass Light that will run on your cell phone when you go ahead and designate it, start and stop it.
The second way which we'll use for these guys which is the additional phones dedicated phones to this which is called Acurass Core and that will entirely take over the phone. You won't be able to use it for anything else which is perfect for this kind of 20 cell phone setup that we're going to be putting in our cell hasher. So that being said, if you guys are curious on what phones are compatible, I'll leave the compatibility list and documentation directly down below for you.
All right. So, step number one is we're going to open the Google Play Store. Once you're in there, we're going to go to search and in the top search bar, we're going to type in Acurass and we're just going to go ahead and search. And the first one there, you're going to find it. Make sure you pick the one that says Acurass Association just to be safe. And we're going to click install. Now, this isn't going to take over your phone. That is the core version. This one that we're downloading is called the light version. So, let this install entirely and then go ahead and open it up.
Once we open it up, it's got a quick little tutorial on exactly what Acurass is and how you can earn with it. Uh, it makes it very simple and very easy. So, go ahead and click okay. Now, it it's going to ask if you'd like to get Acurass notifications. I don't mind. I'm just going to click allow.
So our next step is is that we want to get started. So, before we look into anything else on here, let's go ahead and click get started. Now, we're going to create a backup. And this is a backup for kind of your main phone. That's what we're going to call this, our primary or main phone. So, we're going to click create backup. And it's going to give you 12 different keywords. This isn't for a wallet or anything like this. This is just for your phone for the fact of backing up this kind of main phone. If you ever lose your phone or you get a new phone, you can kind of restore this and make it your next main or primary phone. So, I'm just doing this for all intents of purposes here. I'm not going to share these words with you, but go ahead, click reveal secret and then make sure you have them fully written down.
If while you're in the app, you do go ahead and get a popup like this to join the cloud rebellion, this is another way to earn on the Acurass network for different quest or objective or fun things like that, which is always good. It's another avenue for you to earn more. When you do get this screen, it's going to ask you for a code. Just put in the code JJ HRB4. Once that's done, hit done at the bottom and hit join the cloud rebellion.
Okay, so we're at this screen right here. What do we do next? So our next step is to select provide compute. So we're going to select that here. And there's a small onboarding step we have to do. Make sure personal is selected and then hit setup work profile. This is going to go through a quick little process setting up work profiles on your actual phone so it can differentiate between you using it as a daily driver or it being used for compute. Now, don't forget you're going to be able to turn this off and on as you see fit. So, go ahead walk through these steps and I'll see you on the other side.
If you get this red screen, which recording stopped for me for security purposes, we have to go to settings here. And under settings, it says Acurass Processor. We're just going to go ahead and check that off. And then we're going to go over to work option. And we're also going to check off Acuras Processor. Then once you go back, that red screen will then go ahead and disappear.
All right. So once that's done, we are up and running. Right now we are earning Acurass token as we speak. We are our phone is being used for AI compute purposes. So a few things to take a look at. You have your ACU balance up top as well as you have their miss token which part of those like quests and that cloud rebellion I talked about. Right here you can see compute status heartbeat 1 minute ago. No deployment scheduled. It will deploy them if the phone is readily available. And you do have compute score uh and then a test station as well which you absolutely want green.
So, let's go ahead and jump over to the computer now because I want to show you guys on the dashboard everything we can do and where to really manage not only this guy but all of these guys when we're ready.
All right, so we're over here on Acurass website, Acurass.com. I'll leave a link directly down below. And in the upper rightand corner, go to Acurass Hub. Now, once we go ahead and load that up here in the top right hand corner, we're going to do enter hub. Once you go ahead and enter the hub here, you're not logged in yet, but there's a lot of really good information on the side, but it's not beneficial to you till you're actually logged in properly. So, in the upper right hand corner, you want to make sure it says Acurass mainet and click connect wallet. Now, we're going to use the wallet associated with our actual primary on our main phone. It'll make all this super seamless. So, go ahead and click Acurass light. And it's going to ask how you want to go ahead and do this. We're just going to click Acurass mobile app.
Now, there's a QR code right in the middle of the screen. Leave it there. Now, go back over to your phone within the Acurass app. Go to the bottom to Acurass Hub. And if you're kind of confused how to get back here, close the app entirely and reopen it. It'll take you right to this spot. Once you're here, click on Acurass Hub. And at the very top, click on connect light. This is going to ask if it can use your camera on your phone, which we need to for the QR code. So, just go ahead and do while using the app. And right up top here, you'll now see that it actually has the camera. Now, you'll notice you'll be able to get closer to the QR code and scan it. So, get close to the QR code, and it should go ahead and pop off. And right on the screen of the phone, you're going to see it's going to ask you if you want to go ahead and accept. So, go ahead and click accept. And now what it's going to do is it's going to say connected and it's going to provide you a date.
So now that we're over here on the computer, we have a central dashboard to manage all of our devices as well as manage our manage our token and how much we're trying to earn and and everything balances, staking, like the works. You can do everything over here. So right now I got one phone connected that you saw and it's actually this phone directly right here. So this gives us all the information that we want. You can even look, you can even see what version of the light app that it's on currently, which is absolutely what we're looking for. This also allows you on the lefth hand side to go to balances, and this will show your current balance that you do have available on the actual network, which is great.

All right, the night is young and I've got a lot of work to do. So, we got a power cable here with three cables to power these USB type-C. We have to get all of these phones set up. Now, these phones actually don't come with a battery, but they do come with all the cords ready to go. And actually, the celler itself actually does have a model, which is the one that I have, that comes with the cell phones, 20 cell phones, and the actual unit for about $1,900 total. If you want to go ahead and do this yourselves, buy your own cell phones yourselves, you absolutely can. And you can get this significantly cheaper. But the nice thing is there is no battery. And what you do is you actually take these little connectors here. Has USB type-C. Let me see if you guys can see that on camera. Plugs into the bottom of the phone. And then there's a USB side that slots directly into here. Because what happens is these phones end up slotting in like this. So they slot inside of here and then get powered by this individual chassis.
Now, I won't need it for with the Acurass Core that we do go ahead and set up, but it does have this little communication cable here that does allow you to then plug this into a computer and manage all of the 20 phones with the celler software. Nice and easy. I'll leave a link down below if you guys are interested in that video where I go through all of that. So, the nice thing is now is that over on my actual main primary phone, I can go ahead and onboard within there all these devices on my primary phone. Makes it simple and easy. It's nice, simple setup. It actually acts as a great tool, but then also we'll go ahead and do a lot of the compute on the light app version as well. So, I got work to do. All right, I want to real quick. So, here's that primary main phone where we have up the QR code. And then you actually have to factory reset your phones and you actually tap it five times and it goes into a state that it can scan that QR code. Once you do that, it goes through a few last steps and then we get to this. So, here is our first dedicated phone with Acurast. Uh, this actually has the core version of the processor on it and it's all ready to go. So once it's done like this, I can slot it over in our cell hasher. Oh man, 19 to go.
All right, it's been 24 hours and unfortunately things work out entirely the way I wanted. Oh, if you're curious, this is an original Nintendo. I'm actually took it apart. I need to replace this 72 pin connector here. It actually went bad, so it doesn't actually read any of the games. Yes, I have an original Nintendo. I collect kind of fun, nostalgic ones from my childhood and play it every once in a while with my kids. So, that was a project that I was working on while I was going ahead and trying to onboard these.
So, you can see right here we have 16 phones that unfortunately did not work. And I'll explain in just a second, but over here you can see we have four that are up and running. And you can look, you can see the Acurass Windows are up on there right now. than it is in the cell hasher chassis. Now, we're not using the cell hasher to its full potential because these little connections here are what kind of connect it into the interface that they've designed and you can manage all of them at once. Now, because we're running the Acuras Core version, it takes over the entire phone. So, I don't need to utilize that entirely. But what happened? Why do I only have four versus the entire 20? Well, the downside is these don't have batteries in them, right? And so when you power them on, they boot into the the operating system. They get to like the desktop home screen. And when you try to go ahead and factory reboot them, these 16 tell me I can't do it because the battery is at 0%. Which it is. There's no battery. It's plugged. I plugged it directly into USB type-C. These four allowed me to do it. I don't know why. I even went through these 16 twice while we were working on everything over here and unfortunately ran into that.
So huge shout out to the guys over at CellHasher. They're actually sending me a battery that I can put in even just temporarily to go ahead and do that factory reset. So, we are off and running here. I'll get you guys a future update video down the road on how we make out. The nice thing is all of this is only going to use about 100 watts total. So, we're able to do AI compute for very cheap. 100 watts, about a light bulb total. won't break the bank in that regard and allows us to participate. Go ahead and earn some Acurass and earn a little much little extra money on the side.
