Most people are using AI to create content that sounds like everybody else's content. And that's because they're missing one key thing: how to actually make it engaging and helpful for their specific audience. So today, I've got Jonathan Mes with me. He's the founder of Whitebeard Strategies, and he's going to show us exactly how he uses AI to create content that people actually want to consume. Hey Jonathan, how are you?
Hey, I'm excited to be here. Thank you.
Goodness. We are so excited to have you here. I'm a big fan of your content, and yeah, just super excited to jump in today. So, what is the audience going to learn by the end of this session?
Well, we're going to focus on today: how to make sure that your content, first and foremost, doesn't sound like AI, and two, how to make sure it's relevant for your audience. So, those are the two things we're going to take a look at when we look at a couple of different AI tools to do that, and I'll walk people through kind of step by step. So, my goal is by the end of this, you'll be able to, as somebody watching this, to go, "Hey, I've got this figured out, and I can now create what we call AI-assisted content that really adds a ton of value to your user but also creates massive credibility for you."
Oh my goodness, that sounds so exciting. I love this. Let's dive in. I want to see all the things.
Sounds good. Well, let's go ahead and share my screen if we can, and I'll go ahead and move from there. There we go. So, the first thing we need to do, we've all heard it before. I don't know. This AI, it just, it, it doesn't sound like me. You're right. It doesn't, because it's been trained on all kinds of historical information, and a lot of it doesn't sound like us at all. So, that's a very common problem, and there's a lot of ways we can fix it. But I'm going to show you the quick and simple way that every single person watching this today can do. And that's that I want you to go out and take a personality test. And I'm going to recommend a site called 16 Personalities. It's free. I have no skin in the game here, but it's totally free. But if you go out here and you take the test, it takes about 10 minutes. And I know everybody's like, "Oh, I don't have 10 minutes. AI is supposed to save me time." Take the 10 minutes. You only have to do it one time.
Well, when you do that, you're going to see that there are 16 different personality types out here. I won't go through them all, but there's 16 of them. And the neat thing is, is every AI model that we use knows what these 16 personalities are. This is based on the Myers-Briggs personality test. Now, if you happen to know, like I do, what you are, you can just go there. You don't need to go in detail. But if you're not sure, take the 10 minutes and find out. If you've done other tests, that's great, too. But this is the one I find has the most value: the Myers-Briggs. So, go out, take this, and it's going to give you when you're done a a a code. I happen to be an ENTP here. This debater, that's who I am. That's my personality. The neat thing about this is, is that if you are an ENTP, and you may not be, I'm unique, so you may not be, but ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Manis, Grock, you name it. They all know lots and lots of information about what that means to be an ENTP. So now, when I go to write my content, instead of it sounding like AI, it's going to sound like me, and that's what we want to happen. So that's the first step, because AI-assisted content can be absolutely amazing. But if it doesn't sound like us, well, it's like getting a business card from somebody when they have a photo when they were a senior in college, and you go out and meet that person and find out they're 45 years old. It's a huge incongruity, and that's not good because it doesn't build that no, like, and trust that we need to do as entrepreneurs. So that's the first thing I want everybody to do. Go out to 16 Personalities, take the test. It'll take about 10 minutes, and then when it's done, it's actually going to give you a description. Save that because you may want that later.
The next thing that we're going to do is, and this I'm going to show you in Gemini today. We could be using ChatGPT. We could be using Claude. Any of the models that are out there. It really doesn't matter. But my ChatGPT has been really slow today. Uh, and Claude just gave me an error. So, we're going to dump over to Gemini. It doesn't matter. If, by the way, you use Google services, Gemini is a great AI tool, and I do recommend that you consider using it because it has a lot of value that you can use along the way. And there's a couple of things that we need to remember when we're writing content, when we're creating content that works with our audience. And the first part of that is actually who is our audience. We need to remember that, because so often we know who it is, but we don't spend much time reminding the AI who it is. And as a result, when we're creating content, it just, it misses the point. So we're going to do that. And then I know everybody hates this moment. We're sitting here. We're looking at the screen and we're like, "Okay, Jonathan, great, blank screen. What do I do next? I don't know what to do." So, we're going to give you one more tip. I'm going to encourage you, go out to YouTube to make it easy. So, we're going to click over to YouTube a minute if my screen will cooperate. Let's see here. There we go. I went and grabbed a video here from Sunny. Um, find somebody that's in your industry. That's what really matters, if it's talking about a topic that you want to talk about. So, Sunny has a a video here talking about how social media is over. Don't totally agree with her, and I don't think Sunny does either. It's a great hook. But what I'm going to do is, imagine if I didn't know what to write for content, one of the first things I do is go, "Oh, I better go read some things. Better go watch a couple videos. I need some inspiration." But instead of us going out and spending a long time on that, we're going to go, and I'm going to grab Sunny's video and I'm going to have AI, or Gemini in this case, use it for inspiration. So, what I'm going to do is I'm going to go grab the transcript here. It's going to take just a moment. I can copy the transcript. You can see that pops up. And I'm going to go ahead and go back to Gemini. And now I'm going to make it easy. So, we've talked about your style. We've talked about your audience, who it is. We've talked about inspiration. Now, we need to actually put it all together. Well, I'm an ADHD entrepreneur, and I don't know about you, but sometimes I'm at that point where I don't want to take a long time to do this, because I've got stuff to do today. And social media, it wasn't on my list, but I know I need to do it. So, what I'm going to do is I'm going to have it take this transcript that we just got from Sunny. That transcript, by the way, let's take a look. That video is 20 minutes long. So, there's a fair bit of content in there. Don't do this with a three-minute video. It'll be a little bit harder. And I'm literally going to come in and I'm going to tell it that I want it to read this information. I want it to use it as inspiration, and I want it to create content for it. We're going to create two types of content here. We're going to create first content for Facebook. We could do it for LinkedIn or X or anything else, but we'll do it for Facebook. And then we're going to create an email campaign based on that for our email newsletter and show you how we do that.
So, the first thing we're going to do is I'm going to come in and I need to tell the AI model. By the way, there's, we call it our perfect prompt framework. There's four steps that you want to take along the way. The first is we need to tell it what type of expert it is when we prompt it. Then we need to give it context. Then we need to ask it our question. And then we need to end with six words. You'll see me do this. Those six words are: "Ask me any questions you have." I know we're going really fast. I'm trying to make this really valuable. The great news is, you'll be able to catch the replay. So, here's what we're going to do. I'm going to literally start. And by the way, I don't type well, so I'm going to use a transcription feature. You'll hear me talk into the computer, and it's showing up. Step one: What type of expert are you? "You're an expert copywriter specializing in writing engaging social media posts for Facebook." That's step one. What type of expert? Just that easy. Then, step two, I need to give it context. "I'm a digital marketing agency, and I don't believe that social media is dead, but some people do. And what I want to do is I want you to analyze this video transcript from Sunny and use it as inspiration to create three Facebook posts that I can use to talk about why social media is so important for my audience. By the way, my audience is made up of small business owners and entrepreneurs." So, just like that, we're going to have that pop up. There we go. So, now I've got the background information. I haven't given it the transcript yet. We're Imagine, and here's a way to think of it: Imagine that we're working together. I can't just come to you and say, "Write me three social media posts," and get anything good. I've got to give you some context. Same thing I'm doing here. Then, I'm going to ask my third part, which is, what do I want it to do? "Please review the transcript and create three engaging Facebook posts. Make sure that each post begins with a question that my audience, small business owners, is asking about the topic of social media." All right, and we're almost done. The last part is: "Ask me any questions you have." Literally those six words.
So, the only thing left we need to do once we followed that framework is paste in our transcript. And I'm just going to copy and paste it in. And we're going to go ahead and see what it did. Uh, I think did I tell it I was an ENTP? I don't think I did. I just realized that. Let's go up. So, I did not. So, I'm a We're going to add it right here. "I'm an ENTP and then digital marketing agency." Just like that. All I need to do, I just need to mention it in there so that it does that. We're going to turn on thinking mode so it thinks a little bit before it writes this, and we're going to say, "Go."
Now, we'll take a look here, and it should create for us here in just a few seconds. It should create for us three unique Facebook posts. Now, I want to warn everybody, don't just copy and paste these in. We want to take a quick moment and look at them. But if you're posting three posts a day, by the way, that's what I recommend you should be doing as a business owner. This will give you an entire day's worth of social media in just a few seconds. Let's take a quick look. So, the push versus pull paradigm. The goal is to validate their frustration with low engagement and introduce a more logical, high ROI approach. Let's just read this one. I won't read them all, but we'll see if this is any good. So, "Is social media even worth the time anymore, or am I just shouting into a void?" Well, first of all, that's a great hook. I see that on Facebook. I'm got to read that because sometimes I feel like I'm shouting into the void. But notice it's not using my ENTP personality. It's not, I didn't use the word "del," that didn't use the word "gamechanger." None of that was in there, and it's still working. "I hear this from small business owners every single week." Remember I told you who's my audience? Entrepreneurs and small business owners. Boom. It calls them out right here. That's good. We want to call out our audience. "You spend hours on a reel or post, you hit publish, and crickets. The truth, the push marketing game is getting harder. And if you're relying on platforms like Instagram and TikTok where your content has a 24-hour shelf life, you're on a hamster wheel. You're pushing content at people who are just scrolling to pass time." Lots of truth in that paragraph, and hopefully that resonates even with some of you as entrepreneurs. But social media isn't dead. Okay, that's what we wanted to hit. I wanted it to say it wasn't dead. It's evolving. The most successful entrepreneurs I know are moving towards pull marketing instead of hoping the algorithm picks you. You create content on platforms that act as search engines like YouTube or even Pinterest. You stop being a content creator and start being a solution provider. When you create pull content, you're showing up exactly when your ideal client is searching for a solution. It's a difference between being a nosy salesperson and a sought-after expert. Which of us as business people don't want to be that latter? We want to be that sought-after expert. We're reaching out to people. You can see that entrepreneur, that small business owner, there are multiple points in here they're going to resonate with this, and that's what we want. "Which feels more like your content strategy? Pushing for attention or pulling in leads? Let's talk in the comments."
Now, I'm not saying this is brilliant, but we wrote that, even with my my uh monologue, we wrote that in a couple of minutes. And notice we have more. We have two: "The Death of the Fake Guru." That's going to be a good one. "The Monopoly Money Trap." I love that. And so, we've got our three posts just that that quick. And notice it even gave me a few tips at the end and said, "Hey, Jonathan, since you're an ENTP, consider these: be provocative." The why, the ask me. Now, you may say, "Okay, Jonathan, how do we know that's right?" Well, watch. What if we say, "Oops, I forgot this is for my client, and they're an INTJ, not an ENTP. So, please rewrite from the perspective of an INTJ." Now, let's go look real quick. If we go out to the personalities, so I'm an ENTP. They call it a day uh a debater. An INTJ. There we go. They're an architect. That's somewhat similar, but they're going to be different. I probably should pick somebody that's way different. Let's go an ISTJ. That's incredibly different. And you'll see as it writes it out, it's going to be different. So, we're going to go ISTJ and just fix that real quick. And this is, you wouldn't normally have to do this, but this is the proof is in the pudding part where we're going to show you that AI is going to write differently based upon that personality type. And we're going to take just a second, and then we're going to go further like we talked about, and we could ask it to write LinkedIn posts. We could ask it to write tweets. We could ask it to write email copy for our newsletter. We could ask it to create a blog post for our website. We could do any of that with the formula we've just talked about: your personality, your audience, and inspiration that it can use as fodder to begin building your to begin building, I should say, your client.
So, let's talk about that. I was high energy, kind of like I am. When you read mine, this one is logical. What's it start with? "Is your current social media strategy producing a measurable return on the time you invest?" Now, that's not different. It's not a different message, but it's a different tone than the way I said it. My tone said, "Is social media even worth the time anymore, or am I shouting into the void?" That sounds like me, as opposed to a logical, "Is your current social media strategy producing a measurable return on the time you invest?" Now, personally, my opinion, I like mine better, but that's okay. That's who I'm writing to. We need to understand that audience is. And I just want to show you, it's that simple. And we could go through the whole thing, every aspect of it. Well, making the same points, well, talking about the same thing, is going to sound now like you, and not like somebody else. And most importantly, not like AI.
Now, I do want to address one thing real quickly. People are always like, "Do I need to be worried about using AI to write my content?" No, you don't. You don't need to worry about it from an SEO perspective, because the search engines don't care. They don't. They've even come up publicly and said it. The AI, the AI engines that most of us are now using for search absolutely don't care, because they're AI-based. And the thing I always hear is, "But my audience hates AI content." No, your audience doesn't hate AI content. They, they hate garbage. And let me share a reality with you. Most of your competitors, of course, not you, but most of your competitors who are out there using AI to write content, they didn't follow any of the steps we did. You see what they did is they started a new chat and they said, "I need to write a post about why social media is not dead," and they pressed enter. That's what they're doing. And you're going to see when that's all I do, it is faster. Yeah. But it's not any, it's not nearly as good. We're creating stuff that sounds like AI now. We're not focusing on our client. It's not going to call them out. We're not basing it on some real information. And so, yes, all likelihood, if this comes out, your clients aren't going to appreciate this. This that we just did, this is AI content that your clients don't like. What we created earlier, this with your personality and a YouTube transcript and everything else, this is good quality AI-assisted content. And your, your audience will love any content you create that is helpful to them. It's why it's so important that we mention who your audience is. So, we've done that. That's our Facebook post. That's great.
Let's try something totally different. Let's go grab an entirely different video. Just so you guys know, I haven't tried to get this all synced up. Let's scroll down here and see what I can find out. We're looking for, uh, jazz for working and study. Okay. I don't know anything about that. Let's see here. What have I got? Um...
Why are you looking for that, Jonathan? Just...
So, when we're doing this, like in my head, I'm always like, give it as much information as I can. You know, like, I know you're giving it the personality test, but I would be like, "This is like the way I sound. This is my tone." I give them like a full write-up of who my ideal client is and all of this sort of stuff. Yours is so simple, like you're just giving them, "This is my personality type. This is my audience," like one-sentence things, and you're still getting amazing content without all the backstorying.
You got it. I just give you a personal example. I'm not doing amazing on social media, but I do reasonably well. And I'm reaching about 4 million people a month using this strategy. So, I, for most of us, I'd say, how many people are you reaching on your social media channel per month, and make a decision if it works for you. Now, what you're talking about will definitely provide more value. It'll be better than what I'm doing. But my question is, for those of us listening, a lot of us are business owners and in business, and most of us have more things to do than we have time. I can give you an amazing six-hour process, which I've gone through and used with others. But the reality is, if I do that, most of us aren't going to take the six hours to do it. And so, we're going to be no further ahead at the end of this presentation. And I want people to be able to go, "Look, I can do 15 minutes. I can make that work." And my challenge to you is, if I could get you 90% of the way to where we want to go in 15 minutes, is it worth your 15 minutes? If I told you that to get 100% of the way there was going to take six hours. Most business people I know, they'll go, "Let's at least start with the 15-minute version. I can always go the six hours later if I need to." Does that make sense?
Yeah, absolutely. It's amazing. I appreciate that. And even just the clarity of knowing, like, you can still put out good content, really good content that's performing without spending that six hours of putting in that backstory. I'd also love to know how important is it that we set, like I know at the start you wrote in there something along the lines of, "Act as a social media manager," or whatever that was. How important is that preframe as well?
Really good question. So, it is less important than it was a year ago. Let me be really candid. It's less important because the AI models are going to figure it out from your question what they need to do. But I find that it helps us as the user tremendously when we think through that four-step process. And if we don't begin, and maybe I should say me, if I don't begin by defining who that expert is, I often find my context and my question really aren't on track as well, because it hasn't got my mind in order. So, it is less important for the AI, but it is crucially important, I believe, for you as the user to do that in order to make sure that the rest of that prompt follows appropriately.
Yeah. No, I love that. Thank you. And thank you for diving in with a little more detail there.
How did you go with what you were, what you were hunting?
Yeah. Let's, let's go back. So, I grabbed a video here from a friend of mine, Josh Nelson. Josh is a coach that teaches digital marketing agencies. So, find somebody, by the way, that you know, like, and trust. I know Josh. He's amazing. I trust him. Anything that he puts out with, I know for, I've worked with Josh for almost three years. I'm going to likely be in 95% agreement with. So, it's really safe for me to grab his content. And again, I'm going to go up and I'm going to grab the summary and I'm going to...
So, again, it doesn't, it doesn't matter like if you pick Sunny one day and Josh the next day, that your content is still going to turn out fairly similar sounding.
It is. And the reason is, is that I'm only using this content for inspiration. It's no different than if I went and watched Sunny's video and now I watch Josh's video. I'm using that for inspiration because I'm telling it to write as an ENTP in my case, and I'm telling it to write to my audience. It's not going to take Josh's content and plagiarize it. That's not what AI does. It's going to use that as inspiration to go ahead and create the next step that I'm looking for based upon the parameters that I gave it: my ENTP personality and my entrepreneur or small business owner audience. And so, again, we'll try the same thing. I'll do a brand new chat. We'll start over. And this time, let's write it for our email newsletter. I'm writing an email newsletter, and I'm an ENTP. By the way, we're going to skip the, just to show you it will work. We're going to skip the "who you are expert," and you'll see it still works out just fine. My audience is small business owners and entrepreneurs. I want you to review the transcript from this video from Josh Nelson, and I want you to turn this into a three-paragraph newsletter article that I can add to my daily email newsletter that's going out to my clients. Make sure it's relevant to my audience of small business owners and entrepreneurs. So, far so good, right? We've got that. That's kind of my background. "Please review the content and write the email snippet." And then, how do I end it? "Ask me any questions you have." Same format. We're going to skip the first part because, you're right, it's not a big deal. And I'm going to paste in this transcript. This one's only 13 minutes instead of 20, but it's still fine. And here we go. Notice here, I didn't even tell it what Josh had spoken about. I didn't say, the first time when we did the Facebook post, I said, "I want to take this position." In this case, I'm trusting the AI to take what Josh said, which, by the way, I have not watched this video yet, so I'm not even sure what he said here. I've went ahead and told who my audience is and who I am, and let's see how it does. Now, keep in mind, this is where the the segmentation is so important. Josh isn't selling to businessmen and entrepreneurs. Josh is coaching digital marketing agencies. So, if it worked properly, and we're going to read it and find out if this worked properly, this won't sound like a message to a digital marketing agency. It'll sound like a message to a small business person or entrepreneur, but it'll have used what Josh said. So, really quickly, let's go find out what did Josh talk about. So, "Who have you become to scale? Scaling together?" So, I know Josh is all about growing your business. So, it's probably about growth strategies. Let's go ahead and take a look. This is email. Again, we'll read it really quickly. "Is your superhero persona killing your scale? Scaling your business isn't about adding more clients or better tech. It's about fundamentally ident. It's about a fundamental identity shift in how you show up as a leader. Many of us fall into the trap of playing the superhero, the one who swoops in to save the frustrated client or solve every internal fire. While it feels good to be the hero, Josh Nelson points out that this actually cripples your team. It sends a silent message that you don't trust them to handle the hard stuff, which keeps them small and keeps them stuck in the day-to-day weeds. To get to the next level, you have to let that version of yourself die so your team can step in with their own confidence."
Well, that had nothing to do with marketing agencies. That's talking about scaling a business. And that's great. It even brought in Josh Nelson, which, by the way, is perfectly fine. It adds more credibility to what I'm writing. But notice now I'm able, again, assuming this fits what you believe. You want to make sure you're cop, you're checking it. But now I'm able to create email content that fast. And if I read this and I'm going, "Wow, I really like this. This is great." I can then say, you know, I'm not using X enough. I really, I should be posting more out there. Or, you know what? This is really good.
I think I want to create a short-form video about this because I know this is a resonant my audience. So, I'm just going to come up and say, "Now, I want you to create me an engaging 90-second short-form video script, voice only, that'll work with my entrepreneurs and small business owners who are watching YouTube Shorts in particular."
Yeah.
So, real simple. Who we are, or who I am. It's still going to keep my ENTP because I'm in the same conversation. It's going to remember that. If I'd started a new conversation, it would forget. And we're literally going to take a look. Notice because AI and any model will do this. It knows what it should do. So, a 90-second script for conversational but energetic pace. Aim for 225 to 240 words. That's perfect. It needs to have a hook, a problem, a shift, the result, and the CTA. Maybe I'm not a marketer. Maybe I didn't know it really needed to have that. That's okay. The AI is functioning as my own coach here. And let's try this out.
So, here's the video. "Look, I know you love being the superhero. A client gets mad, you swoop in. A project stalls, you fix it. It feels great, right? But here's the cold hard truth: Your inner superhero is actually killing your ability to scale your business. I was listening to Josh Nelson talk about this, and it hit home. When you play the hero, you're subconsciously telling your team, 'I don't actually trust you to handle this.' You're reinforcing a loop where they wait for you to save the day instead of stepping up. If you want that business that grows past your own two hands, that version of you has to die. The secret just isn't delegating. It's radical transparency. You have to be a leader who shares the wins, the losses, and the ugly stuff in the departmental meetings. Why? Because your team is afraid of getting fired if making mistakes. They'll never take ownership. You have to let them fall on their sword occasionally so they can develop the confidence to lead without you. The next of your growth requires that you be ruthless with your time. Think blank space on the calendar. Think deep work. If your day is 100% back-to-back meetings, you aren't a visionary. You're an administrator. You need to move into your genius zone and let your leaders own their areas. It's scary. It's messy, but it's the only way to 10x your business. So, are you ready to hang up the cape and actually lead? Drop a 'yes' in the comments if you're ready to stop being the bottleneck."
I, I love that. I'm going to record that and do that tonight for my video. That's great.
Yeah.
And we've now created Facebook posts. We've created email copy. We've created tweets. We've created email copy. And we haven't even been talking for 30 minutes yet. And I've been doing a lot of talking versus showing. That means you could probably do all this in about 15 minutes, as long as you give it the right information. And I hope everybody can take these tips. Again, quick summary: Know your personality. Know your audience. And use a piece of content as inspiration. And don't worry about being worried about copycat or plagiarizing, because no plagiarizing. Notice this didn't copy Josh's script. If we listen to it, he would have said something similar, but the words we're using and everything are different. Josh is not an ENTP. I know him. He's great, but that's not his personality type. So, he's going to have said it differently. But now, this came out very much the way that I, Jonathan, speak, and it didn't sound like AI. Does that all make sense?
Yes. This is amazing. Love this. It's just so interesting as well, because it's not your words, but it's coming out in your language. It's, it's amazing.
Exactly.
Tailored to your audience. Like, it's amazing. And also, I think what's really cool is you could take the first lot of that we did with the Sunny's, with Sunny's video, and you could turn that into, like, you've already got the three Facebook posts. You could turn that into the email list, and then, you know, keep going on the X and all of that sort of stuff.
Absolutely.
Obviously, with Josh's, you could do the same thing and be like, "Okay, now write three Facebook posts and, you know..."
Yeah. And if we do that, think about how we're just exponentially growing the content that we're creating, how much value we're able to bring to our audience, too. You know, if you're a small business owner and you're thinking about scaling, most of us, myself included, I felt, you know, a couple of those were kind of like, "Ouch, Josh, that hurts. Uh, I kind of resemble that a little bit," and that's okay, because we want to poke our clients sometimes and let them know that we are that guide that they're looking for. And again, based on what I do and everything else. Now, what really could make this interesting is, let's just for a moment imagine that I did something entirely different, and maybe I'm an auto mechanic, and I need to do it. I can follow this exact same system, but instead of grabbing content from Sunny and Josh, I'm now going to go grab a YouTube video that talks about repairing something on a car, and I'm going to turn it into my own content. Facebook, YouTube video. That's why the inspirational part of this is so interesting. It saves you a ton of time. You don't have to ideate everything. You just have to find content in your industry. And with billions of videos, YouTube absolutely has content on your industry, no matter what it is that you do.
Absolutely. I totally love this. And I'd even love to know because, like, really, what you're saying is the sky is the limit. How are you posting three times a day? Are you scheduling this in, or are you doing it manually? And are you doing it on all the platforms? Because, like, if we can make three posts in 15 minutes, there's really no excuse not to be putting it out there.
So true. And remember, that's what keeps you top of mind with your audience, which is what's so important. So, what I do very simply is I create those posts in advance. So, maybe in the morning, I need them, maybe the day before. Once in a while, keep in mind I'm ADHD, might be two days before, but that's probably not likely. Normally, it's, "Oh crap, I need to post. I'm going to go do that." But I can now do that in 15 minutes. And then throughout the day, I just take a couple of timers that I've got, and it would be like, "Great, I need to post something in the morning. I need to post something in the afternoon, and I need to post something after dinner in the evening," when I know a lot of my clients are on, having done the same thing, having ate dinner, the kids are down. Now, they're looking and seeing what's happening, and they're going to see my posts. I have the content. It's literally copy-paste at that point in time. Once I have this created, I can either just open it up here and copy-paste. Now, proofread it. That's important. Or I can go ahead and I can move it into a note tool of some sort that I've got and move it around. I do that because then I can post from my phone. I can post from my computer, my tablet, wherever I'm at and doing whatever I need to.
I love this. Thank you. This is so interesting because what I'm hearing from you, in like, just a roundabout way, is you're simplifying. You know, you haven't got a really complicated prompt. You don't have, "Okay, now I've done it. I'm going to go schedule it in all the things, and then I'm going to go back and check that it went live," and all of these bits. You're literally just like, "Okay, cool. We're just going to make the content. It's going to be great. We're going to read it. We're going to check it, and then a couple of times a day, we're going to post it."
100%. We, we can spend all the time in the world trying to make sure something's perfect. But the problem is, it takes all the time in the world to do it as well. Taking that action, posting three times a day, which is probably more than most of us on the call are doing, and that's okay. Posting three times a day will absolutely change your business if you can do that for one year. And I'll ask anybody in the call, if I told you that you could spend 30 minutes a day, and a year from now, your business would be three, four, maybe five times more successful than it is, or you'd have three, four, five times more free time than you do now, or whatever you're working towards. Would you go, "Well, I could spend 15 to 30 minutes a day to do that for a year." Sure you could. Especially because it's not hard. You can literally do it from your phone. You can do it from your computer, from your tablet. You can do it while you're watching Netflix at night. It doesn't have to be hard. And it all can be done in a way that adds value to your audience. And when you add value to your audience, and I believe this method does, now we can do it quickly and add value. And that will increase your reputation and help you build your brand.
Yeah, absolutely. Like, I just love the ease and simplicity of literally everything you're doing. At any point, are you like, getting it to do more complicated things like carousels, or, um, yeah, like asking different, like creating different sort of content, or are you just literally creating this sort of content?
Sometimes I am, but other times, you know, I'm, for example, while we've been talking, I, I went to Google Gemini and I said, "Create me an image for the newsletter." And so, uh, if you guys follow me at all, you'll know I love 3D cartoon images. And so, if you can share my screen, you'll see that it created an image for me that is probably going to be pretty relevant to what we need to do. I don't know if I can make it any bigger. There we go. It's a little bit bigger. No, I'm not saying this is perfect, but it literally did that in about 15 seconds by me saying, "Please create a 3D cartoon animation image for the email." That's it. That's all I typed, but it, we got it. It's the 3D cartoon style that I like, that I'm known for. It's related to talk about the death of the superhero founder. It's perfectly fine. Here's one of the things that I find kills most people when they start doing it. They're looking for perfection. Perfection will kill you. You kill your time. It'll kill your productivity. This is not about perfection. The only question you really need to ask is, "Will this content be helpful to my audience?" And if the answer is yes, you can post it. I can think of a different image that I may like better. It doesn't matter. This will work with what I need to do. I don't need to do something different. Can I do a carousel? Sure, absolutely. I can exit out of this and I can say, "Let's create a LinkedIn carousel out of this. So, please create a LinkedIn carousel post with images for me." And because it's in that conversation, and it knows everything now, it may not create all the images I want. Sometimes it doesn't do that, and I have to think about it. But here we go. It understands what a carousel post is probably better than I do. And notice it's starting with slide one. It's going to think a minute, and it's going to continue on through, and we're going to have what we need. That first image that looks a lot alike. No problem. Now it's going to talk about the problem part. So, if we're doing a carousel, for those of you not familiar, we're creating basically four posts that have been, it's similar image. It looks similar, but it's different. Okay. Now I'm doing slide three again. I build that transparency. Notice everything is getting better. And I end up at the end here with image four. What looks like everything's working really well. My employees are happy. I'm happy. Things are working well. And just that fast, we turn that same content into a LinkedIn carousel post. And boom, I've got that ready to do. If you don't like the cartoon style, you can do pictures, you can do anything else. It will do that. I just picked that style. Oh, notice that. And we've even got a fifth one that it brought in there for me. So, keep in mind, you can do any style you want. And again, you saw it. It did it right while we were sitting here.
Yeah. And I, I feel like from this conversation that everything you do is quite like, just at a, it's like at a really simple and effective level. What prompt did you put in just to get these images? Was it a, because I'm like, these images are amazing, and I'm like, but I know he uses really simple models of things.
Yeah. How did you get...
I, I literally said, "Please create a LinkedIn carousel post with images for me." That's it.
Yeah. But the one above with the cartoons, was that a long one or...?
"Please create a 3D cartoon animation style images for the email bit." I meant to say for the email, but I typed "bit."
So, here's what sets this apart, and this is an important consideration. We're staying in the same conversation. Now, I, by the way, if I do another video, I'm going to start another session. But inside this, I can do any type of content about this, because it now knows about me. It has that inspiration. So, it has all that context. I can even come back and say, you know what, this is great, but I really want a post that has an 8-second video about this. Can you create that 8-second video for me? Now, because we're in Nano Banana, which is a Google tool, you watch, and it should, if it listens to me, it should take all of this context that we have. By the way, this will probably take a minute or so, because it takes a little longer to render video, but you can see it says 1 to 2 minutes. It's now going to take all this context that we have, everything we've dealt with, and it's now going to create a relevant video. Now, I could have given it more information if I said I wanted it to focus on this or on that. And I did say 8 seconds because I happen to know that's the longest video Gemini is going to easily create for me. So, I want to keep it really simple. But we should end up, in all likelihood, with a 3D cartoon character video of some sort, because it's going to pull in all of that, even though I didn't mention it. And the key, as you said, is to keep it simple. And sure enough, let's take a look. We probably won't have any sound, whether anyone...
Wow.
They're cheering, just like that. And I've now got a video that I can post on my social media as well, just that easily.
Can we do...?
By the way, people are wondering, I, I do this all off a $20 a month plan, folks. This is not paying a ton of money. Sorry, you wanted me to do something else. Go ahead.
I was going to say, can we do another prompt with a different, um, image type, like just maybe like a real image type? Because this looks amazing, and I'm like, I'm like...
Let's go, let's go back to Sunny's real quick. So, I'm going to load up Sunny's, if that's all right. We'll just go back to that one, and I'll say, "Please create me a LinkedIn carousel post using black and white photography for the images." I could do anything I want, but since we're talking about social media being dead, maybe a black and white would be good. So, it's going to now, again, we're back in that conversation. It's going to reference everything about Sunny. It's going to reference my ENTP personality. We're going to be using the tools. And by the way, this would work in either ChatGPT or in Gemini. Both have all these capabilities, uh, work easily for you. It'll do, it'll work in Grok, too, if you're curious. So, here it is. All right. Now, we have this. This happens occasionally. It doesn't create the images. "Please create the carousel images for me." No problem. And it should now do that. We'll see if it does it. It, I don't know if you saw, but it literally described the images that I wanted. Sometimes it adds that in. It's like working with a coworker. Sometimes you forget to mention something really important, and all of a sudden, it doesn't come back. There we go. There's our, our beginning of our carousel images. And I can click on that and blow that up. I could ask it to do more and see if it's going to do it's just going to do one. I could ask it to do all of them. But now we'll do one more. Now I need an 8-second video.
done for this that I can use with a post.
And I just think as well you're doing this all on a $20 plan just out of anything like chat GBT or Claude or anywhere Gemini just so simply.
Yeah. And and that's I think you know most of us and and I you know I deal with about a half a million people a day in my group that I talk to and all that. And one of the things we hear all the time is that it can't be that easy. It really can be when you have the right recipe. And what I'm hoping we're doing here is that we're teaching a recipe that people can follow and go, "Okay, I need my personality. I need content for inspiration. I need my audience." And if I have those and I can describe the basics of what I want, email, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, you name it. Now, the tools are smart enough to take those three bits of information and create amazing things for us. And then it's really the sky is the limit to what we can imagine.
It's amazing. Like, I'm just blown away by the simplicity of your system because I love simple systems. I'm really big on like not over complicating and this is just amazing. like the audience is going to be able to see this and be like, "Wow, this is actually achievable. Look at this video."
Now, it misspelled Instagram, but we could fix that.
Yeah.
It's short, but again, it's created that video out of virtually nothing. I could give it some more context. I could tell it my brand colors if I wanted to. I could give it my logo, have it put on There's lots more we could do, and that's great. But I want to encourage everybody, the goal here is to create helpful content for your audience that establishes you as the expert. I don't need to go to some of those details necessarily to do this because if you start posting this type of content daily for your audience, you will very quickly become that go-to expert. And that means whether you're a roofer that's putting on roofing, brand new roofs, or if you're an auto mechanic or you're a baker that makes bagels, you're going to be the person that people start coming to for that because they're going to see your content. You're going to be that expert and boom, you're going to be able to grow your business.
Yeah, I just I'm blown away. Like I I'm just speechless.
I love it. That's Well, that's a goal. Hope hopefully hopefully in a very good way. And I hope everybody watching this has had the opportunity to take those notes and go, "Okay, I need my personality. I need my audience. And I need inspirational content." And with that, I can do everything that Jonathan just showed me.
Yeah. Just the the lack of complication and the quality of what you're putting out is to me, I'm just like, "Oh my goodness." Like, there's it's not hard, but it's so good. So, yeah. Is there anything else the audience really needs to know or should watch out for?
No. The probably the biggest thing I want them encourage is that when you get started doing this, the first 30 days of posting and you go, Jonathan, really? Three times a day? Yes, post three times a day. But if you can't post at least once, okay, post every day. The first 30 days you're going to go, this didn't work. No, Jonathan was wrong. No, didn't work. You're right. It won't work in 30 days because you you have trained the algorithm at all these social media channels that they can rely on you for maybe one or two posts a week. And most of them, if we're honest with oursel, probably sound more like sales pitches than they do adding value. So, you're going to have to retrain the algorithm that you just bought the value pill and you're all into giving value to your audience. And you're now going to do this multiple times a day. Once the algorithms realize they can trust you, and that happens generally between 30 and 90 days, depending on your industry and competition, then all of a sudden, what's going to happen is you're going to have customers coming to you and they're going to be going, "Wow, Jonathan, I see you everywhere. How are you doing that?" By the way, if you're not sure, you can just go take a look at what I'm doing. It's all free. I I don't pay for advertising for hardly anything. You'll see it works. I've built an entire business around this and you can build your business around it too.
No, it's just amazing. Like it's just Yeah. Thank you so much for your time today cuz this has just been so eyeopening. Yeah, just really really amazing. Where can people find
Well, thanks for having me on. I'm excited to be here and hopefully we were able to share some value along the way.
Yeah, absolutely. You did. This was amazing. Where can people find you to be able to follow you?
Really easy. You can just remember my name, which is Jonathan Mast. Or if not, just remember the look, my hat, the AI, and the white beard. And you can search for the white beard AI guy. And as of right now, I'm the one that shows up in the top eight to 10 spots. And just go ahead and visit us. Uh again, tons and tons of free resources. Would love to have you part of our community.
