So, you're mad at me because I said these many, but you don't want to acknowledge the fact that they were literally trained this way and no one stopped them. Y'all want to talk about tradition? Let's talk about generational neglect disguised as masculinity.
See, the problem isn't just the men at the table. It's the silence around the table. The little boys who were told, "Stop crying. Man up. Don't act like a girl." The ones who only got touched when they were hit. The ones who only got praise when they succeeded, and the ones who only got love when they provided.
So what do they grow into? Men who only know how to love through control. Men who confuse possession with protection. Men who don't know how to apologize unless they're about to lose you. Men who were never taught intimacy, only authority. And y'all treat them like they're the victims, like they didn't know better.
But if I know better and you know better, then when do they get held accountable? They always say, "Not all men." Cool. Then we're the ones correcting their brothers, their fathers, their friends. Because silence is complicity. And complicity is part of why we're here.
You're mad because I'm not scared to say it. I'm not scared of the comments. I'm not scared of the hate. And every time I say these many, a woman who's been gaslit into silence feels seen. So, no, I'm not going to back down. Not when we're just getting started. These men ain't.
