Hey there folks. The Eric Taxis Show has come to Nashville.

Uh so we're just going to have, you know, all the gang here at Opryland. We're going to be doing all kinds of stuff. This is my Nashville uh look. It's kind of the uh this is the this is casual Eric with taxis uh in Nashville with my eyes. I'd pull over. Um, actually I really am in Nashville. Uh, there's a lot going on here, but the most important thing I is that as I'm in Nashville, I'm doing the show. And who would be my first guest? You guessed it. Big bad John Zmeir. John, welcome.

Hey, Eric. I'm glad. And are you there for National Religious Broadcasters, NRB?

I am not here for NRB. Uh I I may be visiting there very briefly, but I was here for the Judeo Christian, what's it called?

Zionist Congress. No joke. I spoke yesterday at the Judeo-Christian Zionist Congress. Uh Patty Heaton was there. Uh just really

That's an important group.

That's an important group at a time like this when

Amazing.

When the devil is trying to sew hatred

between the Jewish people and the church

and he's trying to tear Western civilization apart by ripping its two its two halves from each other.

Yes.

And uh so I'm I kind of wish I could have been there with you. And no, it was it was amazing and it was a who's who of wonderful people. Uh just I couldn't believe how many wonderful people were at this event. Uh the night before uh I was the main speaker at a TPUSA faith event. The new head or the head rather of uh TPUSA Faith is Lucas Miles. Uh and it was in Allen Jackson's church which is World Outreach Church in Murreey'sboro. I have spoken there more by far than at any other church uh anywhere. It was it's an amazing church and TPUSA faith is going strong. They're doing their Make Heaven Crowded tour. So, this was a a stop on the Make Heaven Crowded tour. There were thousands of people. It was amazing. And on this program or I will be posting on my YouTube channel what I said yesterday uh at the Judeo-Christian Zionist Congress and what I spoke uh at DPUSA faith uh in Murphy'sboro the night before. But John, uh I want to talk to you about current events, my friend. Where do we start?

Oh boy. Well, I you you and I had not spoken since uh since swastika Barbie had her outburst at the religious liberty conference.

That was upsetting. Uh I was there. Um I've spoke about it on this I've spoken about it on this program so I don't know what needs to be said.

Well, I just you and I haven't spoken since then. So, a lot has sort of emerged from from under the rock since then. Um, I am particularly appalled to see this uh really dumb group that calls itself Catholics for Catholics, which is like a joke of a title.

Something needs to be said. Let me uh I always do anyway, but I want to interrupt you to say that

to my audience. Folks, you have to be careful. You have to be careful because people misrepresent truth themselves when somebody for example uh claims to speak for the Catholic Church. I'm obviously not Catholic, but what uh Carrie Peen Waller said the other day, um this group, Catholics for Catholics, do not be fooled. Uh because most people, as John Mira, who is Catholic, is going to tell you, it's like, uh-uh, something is very, very wrong.

It's like three people with webcams. They're grifters. They have no connection with any with with the bishop, with any parish. They have no influence over anyone. There are a couple of grifters who decided this is a way to make a buck. And if they can't make a buck from the public, they'll make a buck from funding sources in the Middle East. I've heard of Catholics getting funded by people in the Middle East who hate Israel to spread hatred for Israel and sympathy for Islam and promote weakness in American foreign policy. This group, Catholics for Catholics, is having this event. couple of people I've respected like Matt Matt Walsh. I mean, I don't enjoy him, but I respect him. Um, Matt Walsh is this somebody who when I hear him make an argument that I've always believed, you know, like he'll lay out the case against abortion. His affect, his personality makes me want to take the opposite position. It's just his personality. It's sort of the opposite of what rhetoric is supposed to do. Rhetoric doesn't make you want to agree with someone. Matt says the opposite. But anyway, he he's always seemed to me like a decent person. General Mike Flynn seems like a really great guy. Why are they speaking on a panel with Candace Owen? They got suckered into it. Matt Walsh, who is a good man, and General Flynn, who's a great man whom I know, both of them should pull out of this conflict. This is a bait and switch. and somebody invites you to conference and then you find out, oh, I'm going to be labeled with uh I'm going to be put on the same bill with Candace Owens, you better get out of there quick.

That's right.

Or else you're to blame. Or else you're to blame. I'm so I didn't know Jeffrey Epstein was in the sauna. Well, all right. But when he got in the sauna, you stayed. And when a couple of teenage girls showed up, you stayed in the sauna. So, no, you're responsible now. You have to get out of the sauna when Jeffrey Epstein gets in. You have to get out of the event when Candace the Jews drape the blood of Christian children Owens goes gets on the same roster. Candace Owen is spreading the blood liels about the Jewish people that

Excuse me. Many people don't know what that means. Can you explain that term blood liel?

Sure. In the Middle Ages, certain in in some villages here and there, the notion cropped up that Jews murdered Christian children and drank their blood as part of Jewish ritual. And I don't know the origin of it. I think part of it might be Catholics used to the idea of drinking the body and blood of Christ. We imagine the Jews must envy that. They must want to have something like that. But they don't have it. Ah, what if I bet they I bet they try to do it themselves. But but they take our children. I it it's like a taking Catholic beliefs, projecting them onto non-Christians in a perverted form. I don't know. But it in various places in the middle ages where a Christian child would go missing as you can imagine in the middle ages with no no street lights and lots of wolves children would go missing. They would scapegoat the local Jews and the myth arose that Jews killed Christian children and used their blood in matzas or Passover. It's a sickening idea and the pope of the time condemned it. Another pope condemned it. Another pope condemned it. But it kept rising.

You don't mean he condemned the practice of this. You mean he condemned the lie that Jews were doing this?

He said it is not true. Jews would never do this. They're not even allowed to touch blood of animals. There is no evidence for this. Christians should stop preaching about this.

Okay. Now that you've said this,

are you telling me

Candace Owen is asserting that it's true now and that it's always been true and it's still ongoing?

Okay, if people want to know, I always feel like I have to make this clear. Somebody can say many true things. Handis Owens has very helpfully said many true good things. But when someone says something like this, that's like touching the third rail. You're fried. It's over.

Yeah. Uh there are things like this that disqualify you from ever saying anything again until you repent of having said that when she has insinuated implied that Erica Kirk was involved in the murder of her husband. That's the third rail. You're fried. It's over. You can't talk anymore. I don't want to hear another syllable uh from your charred mouth because you're fried. It's over.

Right. Absolutely. So Candace Owen is spreading the demonic lie that Jews engage in human sacrifice. And this is this is a lie that has had horrible consequences resulted in the massacres of Jews in very in towns in Germany, medieval Germany, medieval France and 19th century Russia, late 19th century Russia. In the lifetime of Leo Toltoy, mobs were persecuting Jews in Tarsus, Russia over this filthy lie. And we have to say the origin of this lie. This is demonic, ladies and gentlemen. Right? This is demonic.

Um, I don't know if you want to pivot to the Epstein Files and Steve Bannon because some of this crazy stuff has been coming up in discussion of the Epstein files and uh it a lot of gullible people just go with it. Uh they don't bother to find out uh how true is it? Is it true? Um, you know,

I remember when QAnon was all the rage and people were constantly talking about all the these cryptic messages sent out by someone allegedly in infiltrated the deep state about how there was a global conspiracy of pedophiles and cannibals who drank human blood who were controlling American politics. But Donald Trump had a plan and everything that worked out, even though it seemed like it was going badly, like the Mueller investigation, the 2020 election being stolen, QAnon assured us it was all part of the plan. That the white hats were going to save us and whatever went wrong was part of the plan and Trump was on it. Now, the part about that that struck me, my response to QAnon was that it was wildly optimistic. the idea that Donald Trump had a plan. I don't think Donald Trump had a plan for that day, much less a 10-year plan to defeat a global conspiracy. The problem is there's so much cartoonish evil out there. Anthony Fouchy really did develop the co virus, which really did come out of a Chinese lab that the US had funded. Then Anthony Fauci was put in charge of the COVID response to the disease he had created. He locked the country down. They were able to use mail-in ballots to steal the election. They really did take to intent get women who were aborting their babies and take the babies alive and vivisect them to create ghoulish experiments with human DNA and mouse DNA in labs allegedly to develop treatments for CO. All that stuff is real. It was a kind of child sacrifice. It was being done by the National Institutes of Health.

I never heard that this was somehow COVID related.

I

was the pretext for it. David Deliden exposed that University of Pittsburgh was doing partial birth abortions in order to provide organs, kidneys, and livers from little nine-month babies for them to use in COVID experiments.

I had I had not heard the link to

Collins. Francis Collins, the guitar strumming evangelical Christian, allegedly he approved all this. So there is cartoonish profound evil out there. The devil, what does the devil do? He puts a little spin on it. Oh, let's blame it on the Jews. Let's not blame it on Francis Collins and the Christians who enabled him. Let's not blame it on Anthony Fouchy and Trump's folly in appointing him. Let's not blame it on us. Let's find some ethnic group and blame it on them. Let's pretend the Jews are doing human sacrifice when in fact the US government was doing it. The NIH was doing it. See how Satan works? He first creates this profound, horrible, appalling evil that you just don't even want to believe. You don't want to hear about it. I sound like a lunatic to myself just telling you about it, but I could document every one of those things. I've published articles on all those things with footnotes and documentation, but I sound crazy talking about it. What what what Screw Tape does then is either use it to make us despair. That's been my my my temptation has been to just crawl into a bottle of bourbon and marinate there for the next few years, or get us to find scapegoats. What? Who would be responsible for something this disgusting? It must be a group, a group of people who are just habitually bad. Maybe they're bad because they don't accept Jesus Christ. That's it. That's it. It must be those people who eat garlic bagels and live on the Upper West Side. Let's blame everyone on 72nd Street, not ourselves. Let's not look at the world, the flesh, and the devil. Let's just blame the Jews. Oh, by the way, that is a hallmark

of the devil to instead of, you know, as a Christian, uh, to quote Chesterton, but the biblical idea, what's wrong with the world? I am, I am a sinner. Um, to point the finger at someone else, someone besides yourself in that way is the great temptation. And to scapegoat a group is the greatest temptation. and escape the Jews.

To escape the the Jews is in fact the darkest temptation. Because think about this, what set our Jewish ancestors in the faith apart from the rest of the people in their region? They would not engage in child sacrifice. All the fertility gods of Assyria, Mesopotamia, they demand Carthage demanded child sacrifice. The story of Abraham and Isaac is God telling Abraham, "I don't want you to sacrifice your children to me." And ironically, it would eventually emerge, God would sacrifice his son for us. The Jews have always rejected human sacrifice and been appalled by it, especially child sacrifice. The the uh the word gehenna refers to an actual region outside Jerusalem where the pagans used to leave the skeletons of children they had sacrificed. So our name for hell, the Jewish name for hell came from the the site where the pagans sacrificed children to their demonic pagan gods. So the devil who was behind all this child sacrifice because what they were worshiping was demons. All the non-Jewish people were worshiping demons. Uh the devil hates the Jewish people for rejecting that. He hates them for standing against idolatry. He hates them for being faithful to God. So what does he do now? He blames them for the one thing he couldn't get them to do. That's clearly diabolical. I think Candace Owen and Tucker Carlson are probably possessed and they need prayers, fasting, they need exorcisms. These people are spewing evil the way Julius Striker was doing it in the pages of Durmer in the 1920s and 30s and they have absolutely no excuse and we should have nothing to do with

and it needs to be said that ladies and gentlemen this does not mean that Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson will not in fact say many true things. Don't don't get sucked in because they said 1 plus 1 equals 2, that everything that they say is true. That that's kind of the way uh evil works. And I'm not saying that uh Tucker is being intentionally evil, but I think that we have to have discernment right now because in many ways, uh Tucker has said many good things and he's interviewed many good people and stuff and that's real. He interviewed me on his program, but

he's al cover for the Nigerian genocidal jihadis. He had their spokesman on his show to deny the Holocaust of the Christians in Nigeria. He had this. He had a lawyer who worked for the jihadis. I'm sorry. Tucker Carlson is now a fullon apologist for Islam. He is a frontman for the jihadis.

It is so baffling. It is. It is so awful. Um, we have limited time today. Can we pivot? Uh,

nice. I am watching The Rise of Merlin. Was is Oh, the rise of Pen Dragon. This new series. Have you do you know about it? It was been produced by the Daily Wire.

I've heard I've heard of it.

It is fantastic. It's really really well done. It's about the struggle between paganism and Christianity in Arthurian era Britain in 4th century Britain as the Roman legions are being pulled out and chaos is overwhelming the island. The struggle between the new Christian faith that has been brought in and the old paganism that indulges in human sacrifice. And it's it's a it's a show about spiritual warfare. It's produced this comes out of the Daily Wire. Jeremy Boring uh wrote and directed it. The special effects are good. The acting is first rate, but the themes are quite powerful. It's something you can watch with the family. You won't cringe. You won't have to cover your eyes. It's exciting. It's not preachy. It's actually really good. I I joined the Daily Wired in order to watch it. And I I may get Basham's recommendation and I have not been disappointed. I would recommend Rise of Pen Dragon on the Daily Wire. I'm I don't get paid by the Daily Wire. This is not a paid endorsement. It's just trying to think of something positive.

Yeah.

Talk about

Well, listen. Um because I have you on, we have to mention uh I don't know. I think this is airing uh Wednesday. But ye yesterday I was uh amazed uh saddened actually to see that Robert Duval uh had passed away. One of the greatest actors and just a fine man. His movie The Apostle, ladies and gentlemen,

what an amazing film. The apostle, he funded it himself. Beautiful. Um and um also, well, he was 95 years old also. um yesterday read the news that Jesse Jackson at age 84 had passed away. Now Jesse Jackson, talk about a troubled figure and but I want to tell you how troubled a figure Eric Mataxis was in 1980. Uh I was six 17 I think I just turned 17. I went to the Democratic National Convention, which was in New York City, where I was standing next to Jesse Jackson, and he is in his full superfly costume wearing a a denim like uh uh what are they called?

The three piece a one piece suit. Like a one one suit, like a zip up suit, like a denim with flared whatever. And he had his afro and stuff. And in 1988, just to let people know, you know, like uh that I wasn't like John's Mirak. I didn't always agree with John Mir. I voted for Jesse Jackson in the Democratic primary in 1988. I voted for Jesse Jackson.

Eric, this is why we have purgatory. So you get to have stuff like that burned off of your soul. I will buy indulgences and have them apply to you.

It's it's it's so funny. I I uh but it's true. I voted for Justice Jackson in the de because I was still a registered Democrat in 1988. That's when I came to faith. So, I wanted to confess that uh to you know what my political party was in 1988? The New York Right to Life party. Because they were the only party who was uncompromisingly pro-life. There were there were always these these sweet civic-minded left-wing Jewish ladies running voter registration tables in like Washington Square Park and they obviously they wanted to get black people Hispanics to register as Democrats. What I would do is go and register over and over again with these ladies for the right to life party just to see the look of horror on their face.

John, you're a wicked person indeed. Uh but I w where I wanted to go uh with when I mentioned Jesse Jackson was to say now a lot of the younger folks have no clue about this but I remember I don't know if it was an 84 or an 88 that Jesse Jackson infamously said he called New York Haimey town. Haimey is a uh pjorative term for Jews a haimey and he I guess he was caught on a hot mic calling New York Haimey town. And I thought, "Oh, how far we have come." New York was once Haimey Town known for Jews. It it is now has a mayor who is a firebreathing anti-Semitic um communist lunatic is now the mayor of New York City. Uh you need to do the responsible thing and go back to that that classic song Funky Town and remake it as Haimey Town. Won't you take me to Bal Haimey Town? Won't you take me to

I'm gonna I'm gonna I'm gonna get right on that, John. But I mean, it's just unbelievable that Jesse Jackson called New York Haimey Town because there's a there there's a lot of anti-semitism uh in certain parts of the black community. He was kind of, you know, uh tapping into that, a left-wing anti-semitism of the of the 1980s, uh which of course we see now as, you know, pro- Hamas, pro Palestinian, but it's so strange. Back then it was just ordinary tribalism like the Irish hating the Italians and the Polish hating the Jews and the Jews hating the Poles. Remember those like the book of Italian jokes and you flipped it over was the book of Polish jokes.

Yes.

All those ethnic jokes were a good thing. They helped us relieve the tension of diversity because we make fun of each other. We make fun of ourselves, you know, and that was the that was ordinary tribalism. What we have now is something demonic. It is funded by international groups like the Muslim Brotherhood. It's accusing Jews of genocide when in fact genocide is what they have in mind for the Jews. Projection. The left is all about projection. When they call you a Nazi, it means they want you in a concentration camp.

I think my producer Chris is saying I have five minutes or four minutes left. So So real quick, John, do you have anything to say about the Epstein files?

I'm staggered. I'm staggered at Steve Bannon's uh implication and also confused by it.

Uh

can I tell you something wild?

Yeah.

In 2018 when Steve Bannon was basically he was trying he was he was out of he was broke. Okay. I worked for him in 2018 when he was also working with Epstein. I didn't know it but he was work he was working doing basically trying to do crisis PR. You know that show scandal where oh a senator has been accused of of a terrible scandal and they go to this this law fir this PR firm to do crisis PR. That's what Bannon was offering to do for Epstein because he was short of money.

Well, listen, I've always liked Steve Bannon. It doesn't mean I agree with everything he says, but I've always liked Steve Bannon. And so,

so basic idea that somebody's mentioned in the Epste, you have to try to you have to get the context. And so the context is the conext is Steve Bannon was hard up for money I think and he was looking for clients. He was doing crisis PR for this dirt bag. That's not my favorite thing. I I wouldn't want to have to work, you know, take on Epstein as a client, but I've occasionally in my life as a writer I've had to work with people who I was a little uncomfortable about. I didn't

listen good people took on Epstein as a client. I mean, Ken Starr, who was a good man as a lawyer, was hired by Epstein that, you know, I I don't know. I don't see Ken Star doing stuff that's unethical. I really don't. And so, I think we have to be careful of

Nobody is black and white.

Nobody is accusing Steve Madden of having anything to do with sexually inappropriate activities. The question is, why did he want to do PR for somebody like Epste? And the answer is he needed the money and he, you know, he he had to he had to pay the bills. All he was trying to do, he wasn't trying to break the law. He wasn't spreading lies. He was working with someone kind of unsavory because he needed the money. Welcome to life. If God wants to plant a money tree in your backyard, you can never ever have to associate with someone who's less than upstanding. But we live in a fallen world.

Yeah. I mean, I I again, I still don't know. I I uh the whole thing is so uh confusing. Um, and

the Trump administration has mishandled the Epstein stuff catastrophically badly. They they've taken something where 99% of Epste's associates were left-wing Democrats and somehow made it look like Trump had something to hide when in fact Trump was the first one to call the FBI as a whistleblower on Epstein. Trump's actually was the hero of this. He managed to make himself look like the villain. This was a real unforced error and it's it's sad. I hope it doesn't lose us the midterms.

Well, again, it's confusing because when people talk about quote unquote the Epstein files, I don't even know what that means. Like what random emails uh out into infinity with names and what you know if there are people who have committed crimes, they need to be prosecuted. It's kind of simple, right? So, I don't know where this is supposed to go. There's a little bit more to it than that. The fact is Jeffrey Epstein was like a nexus of power and influence and connection. He was like a hub of global elites. And that's weird. Why did Bill Gates go to Jeffrey Epstein to get antibiotics that he could slip his wife because he'd given her STDs? I mean, by by having sex apparently with Russian hookers that Epstein introduced him to. That's all in the files. This stuff is juicy and scurless and disgusting and I can see why people are are getting obsessed with it because every day there's some new filth. It's like but every soap

and and I just want to say we we have to go here but I just want to say to my audience folks be careful.

The the scriptures are clear. God in his loving mercy tells us to keep our eyes on him. Keep our eyes on what is good and pure and true. be careful because getting sucked into this um can really it can it can harm your soul. It can harm your soul. So, be careful. Um John, we love you. Thanks for coming on.

Thank you.

God bless.

I don't like alarmism. I don't like fear-mongering. I especially don't like people who profit from panic. But I do believe in telling the truth, especially when the markets are reminding us how fragile things are. Over the last few weeks, we've all watched the volatility, stocks swinging, confidence shaking, longest standing assumptions suddenly looking less solid. Many economists are calling this moment the everything bubble, where nearly every asset class has been inflated at the same time by years of cheap money and reckless global policy. This isn't political. It's not partisan. It's math. And when confidence erodess, history shows us what tends to happen next. That's why I've taken time to educate myself on one of the oldest ways people have protected wealth during uncertainty. Physical gold and silver. I've partnered with Genesis Gold Group, a faith-based valuesdriven company offering clear information, no hype, no pressure. They put together a free financial survival report explaining what's happening, why multiple markets can fall together, and what prudent steps families can consider. Now, I encourage you to read it and decide for yourself. Please go to metaxis goldirra.com. That's metaxisgoldirra.com. You don't need to panic, but you do need to be informed. In times like these, wisdom matters more than optimism.
