Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the launch party for the Porter House portfolio strategy. Let's hear a round of applause.
Not many people know the story of where the Porterhouse steak comes from. In the 1800s here in New York City, there were taverns and bars that were known as porter houses because their principal occupation was selling porter beer. It turns out you sell a lot more beer when you give people the fattest, juiciest, saltiest steak that you could possibly grill up. And as a result, the porter house steak became a thing in and of itself. The way we think about the porter house is it's the premium cut, the strategy that we're here to announce and launch. It's almost 30 years my experience of how to make money in the markets, how to make money in stocks, centuries worth of stock market risk and return data as its grounding, but we're using cutting edge tools from the year 2026 and beyond in order to enact what it is that we're actually doing in client accounts.
Thanks everyone for uh for being here tonight. And Oshanaugh's reason for beings has been researching and understanding the concept of quantitative factors. So you know what are factors? Factors are...
"No, no, no. We're not doing that."
"Common sense. I'll be quick. I'll be quick."
The great thing about factors is they can bring the concept something that's subjective and bring objectivity to it. So when they came to us with this incredibly compelling idea and we thought we could uniquely build a strategy that could bring that concept to life. So we had a we had several phone calls with the team and we described what we were trying to do. We want to own awesome stocks, good businesses, and we had a couple of conversations about the rules. Came back to us and you guys were like bright-eyed to have this conversation. He said, "Wait, Josh Brown came up with this kid did." And then and then you said, "Are are you going to take this away from us?"
"You were You guys were shocked a little bit. Come on."
"10 minutes."
"Impressed. Impressed."
"Yes."
"Okay. I just want to get that one sentence on camera."
It's really something special about the way my team interacts with AR's team. They understand so deeply what we're trying to accomplish for clients and we understand how much they care about being data-driven, evidence-based, rules-based, and I think that matchup makes our partnership very unique.
All right, guys. That that will conclude the uh speaking time at this event. I want everyone to have fun. I am told there are lots of Porter House stakes coming up the stairs momentarily. I hope you brought your appetite. Thank you to all of the clients and our friends in the media who are here and all of our employees at Red Hole 12. Thank you all. We we appreciate you guys. Thank you. Have fun. Thank you.
