The single slash command that will improve your performance more than anything else inside of Cloud Code is `/clear`. And most people don't use it nearly often enough.
And that's because the more you use Cloud Code in a single session, the more you fill up that context window, the worse it gets. And this is still an issue even with 1 million context window links. As you can see in this graph, at 256,000 tokens, Cloud Code is working at about 92% efficiency on this particular benchmark. By 1 million, it's at 78.3.
What does that mean? Well, that means unless you have a reason to be using Cloud Code at these high context window lengths, aka really anything beyond 20% of the total window, you should be doing `/clear`. You should be resetting that context window because your performance is going to decrease.
For so many people who complain about Opus being slow today and Cloud Code not working that well, I guarantee you a significant portion operates in very high context loads which significantly hurts their performance.
