When the 11th house ruler is in the first house, the house of friends, associates, one's network, and rewards come into the first house of the self. So, social life is personal. The things of the 11th house become very personal. The opinions one's friends and associates hold strongly affect how somebody is going to see themselves and what is influenced by the trends, fashions of the time.
Uh, a person can be jumpy, prone to nervousness if we have an air or fire planet ruling the 11th. One's projection of self is affected by politics, the social order of things, the trends of the time. And we can feel like the current state of social order really enables us or prevents us from expressing ourselves naturally. It's really going to depend on the aspects. So, what is the current state of things and how is that affecting our personal expression? What's going on at the time?
And one can feel stressed, repressed by social changes and disorder if hard aspects to the ruler of the 11th house are present. We can feel very much on board with the social changes, um, even disorder, in the sense that we know that leads to something new if we have the easier aspects or if we work through the difficult aspects. So, with the hard aspects, we can experience tension within the persona that can affect the ability to fight, to defend ourselves, because this is the house of fighting, fighting for our life, fighting for our right to take up space. The faculty described by the planet ruling the 11th and in that hard aspect, when it's in the first house, is being sharpened as we learn to use it effectively to ensure our personal survival. So, it becomes a weapon of sorts.
So, aspects to the ruler of the 11th house are going to lead to beliefs that are a large composite of the ego structure. So, how one sees and interacts with one's friends and network, politics, teams one joins, um, how we vote, that's going to come very much to bear on how one armors themselves. So, we can be very readily vulnerable to insight and lightning changes because we have all of that coming into a very surface layer of the personality, in the persona. We have the possibility of being upended, coming into where it is that that we show up very readily. So, we can learn a lot about ourselves with the 11th house ruler coming into the first house. And with easy aspects, um, it can be obviously easier to accept things, to enfold these changes that we see into our persona and really embody these things. The mask is the first house. So, the initial stages of identity formation is very much described by the aspects to the ruler of the 11th house. When it's in the first, it's telling us a story about those very early stages of personal development, what occurred in that area of life. So, the transpersonal is occurring through what is personal with this particular placement. One can embody and lead a movement or a cause that leads to a breakthrough. So, a profound insight can occur in the realm of personal survival.
And the 11th house ruler is in the second house. One's social contacts, network, friendships, experiences of transpersonal enlightenment, our pursuit of happiness is going to find expression through one's material life. This is an earth house. We have all of those 11th house things finding their way through experiences of material security, self-esteem, what we feel we have to offer, sensuality, object permanence, our sense of beauty. So, one's friends and network, politics, and beliefs described by the 11th house are going to have a lot to do with the creation of our ego structure. It's going to affect our experiences of wealth, the self-value. So, how enlightened one is about who they really are affects one's ability to earn, our ability to create the material life that is going to lead to peace and serenity and security. And one's behavior, it results in the insurance of or the disruption of essential stability. Always in earth houses, we're looking for a type of stability, and this is a material stability. It's our behavior is going to affect that.
One can feel the society, the current state of things, trends, friends, associates is the area of tension that is going to lead to a lack of regularity in an area of life where that's something that we're going for, regularity, stability, the building something. The earth houses are the areas of life where we're going to always seek some kind of archetypal stability. So, these earthy areas of life are where behaviors that are going to contribute to moderation and steadiness and practice are going to best serve our needs. And the 11th house is not naturally in tune with the second house. Uranus is a very, very different type of energy than what the second house is all about. So, this tension between the two is going to show up in the realm of life where we experience, you know, stability, practice, continuity. And we're going to have entrepreneurial ideas there, ingenuity, exposure to risk, and that's all in the realm of life that's best served by steadiness and regularity. So, this could bring some excitement into an area of life where normally we don't associate it with that. So, there can be a freshness that comes into the second house. It can be very, very good. But the relationship that Uranus has to the second house alone is going to show a challenge to how one is going to be meeting their second house needs. So, certain rulers, like the natural rulers of the earth houses ruling 11th coming into the second, are going to more easily contribute to the material stability that we're seeking. The great rewards, the karma, the wish fulfillment of the 11th house can come through finances and what is sensual and beautiful and material. When placed in the second house, wealth and security can come unexpectedly, and wealth and security can come when we're living our dreams. So, the experiences of authenticity shown by the aspects to the ruler of the 11th house, that's going to affect our experiences of earning and value, material wealth. And we may be impoverished or greatly rewarded with the 11th house ruler coming into the second house.
When the 11th house ruler is in the third house, one's social contacts, network, friendships, transpersonal enlightenment, pursuit of happiness is finding expression through one's need for conversation, learning, acquisition of facts and skills, and communication. So, one can communicate ideas and concepts of a broader context with the 11th and the third. Experimentation and science are coming through an area of life that is all about curiosity and is highly experimental with self. So, we can personally formulate original ideas that are going to build on accumulated knowledge. This is a personal house. So, one can make leaps in understanding that would not be possible without the contribution of many. And one's experience of personal autonomy are connected to mind and into concepts. So, one's ideas and concepts can inhibit the experience of the uninhibited self. Sometimes we have to get out of our head. And we are influenced by trends, friends, the social or political team that we join. So, who one associates with can contribute to one's experiences of objectivity that lead to a more enlightened perspective. We have the transpersonal experiences of the 11th house coming through an area of life where we form primary components of the personal ego and where we have more personal relationships as well. These are relationships that happen more on an everyday basis. These are the people that are more in our inner circle in the third house. So, one's ideology comes through opinions and is going to direct us toward sources that we consult to provide facts. So, we can be very opinionated first and then find out the facts or the figures of things afterwards. That can be something that we have to look into. There's always a hard-headed potential when we talk about Uranus or the 11th house, and this is the area of life where we find our opinions. So, oftentimes we can start out a bit small in our perspective, and that's something that can widen as we take in more information. And the 11th house ruler and the third can lead to clarity of thought, genius with the best results. And this placement can also lead to a deep-seated unawareness of social or political conditions with the hard aspects. So, beliefs and the resulting behaviors that are indicated by the hard aspects can lead to a closed-mindedness, remaining within one's locality, not having the broad perspective that we associate with the 11th house. Because there's always two sides to every planet and every house and every sign. And if we have difficult aspects, we can see beliefs and resulting behaviors that can limit one's exposure to sources, to education, even opportunities, friendships, relationships. So, the friends one keeps and the following we build is very much going to impact our curiosity and the sources that we get our information from, because a lot of those sources are going to be coming from the 11th house. We need to be very careful about the teams we joined and the friends that we keep, because we can often be adopting a lot of those opinions and not realizing, because we have the 11th coming through the third as a more personal house, not realizing that our opinions are so much based on what other people are thinking or saying or just others in general.
With the 11th house ruler in the fourth house, our social contacts, network, friendships, transpersonal enlightenment, pursuit of happiness is finding expression through one's personal feelings. This is a very, very personal area of life. So, one takes politics, friends, and their following very personally, and one's affiliations are very subjective. So, friends can be like family with the 11th coming into the fourth. The facts, as interpreted by one's team, our chosen ideology, that can seem intuitive and therefore correct, because it's coming through through feelings, how we feel about something, not so much when we think about something. So, we may not be able to separate ourselves from the interpretations of the group or the friendships of a social system that we're involved with. We may not even understand fully how much that is a lot of the basis for how we personally feel about things. And easy aspects can lead to a perspective that allows for vulnerability without such ready personalization. So, we do see enlightening or shattering experiences within the 11th house, and a vulnerable state of vulnerability, a state of openness is really required for those experiences to calm. So, when we have that, if we have those breakthroughs of the 11th house, that can change us or move us fundamentally, because we're going to have to adjust or address a primary pattern when those breakthroughs are coming through the fourth house. So, we're going to have to come out of a comfort zone to really live in a moment, to embrace the things of the 11th house, bring a huge shift in awareness that very much shapes up our experiences of normal state.
With the 11th house ruler in the fifth house, the house of enlightenment, friends, our network, liberty is coming into the house of creativity, an authentic personal expression. So, who comes to our show has a lot to do with what type of entertainment service we're going to provide. Friends, trends, social life that impacts the roles that we play and very much impacts the internalization of roles at the adolescent stage when identity is becoming very concrete. So, how we act is affected by who we're connected to, who validates us, who notices us. And one can struggle to find their own expression and identity with hard aspects to the ruler of the 11th house. One can be fortunate, however, in finding friends and a network that do notice them. We can develop talents that serve society. We can experience great rewards through gambling, speculation, entertainment, even romance. Hard aspects can indicate a failure in speculation until the tension is solved, difficulties with making the things of the 11th house work for us in the fifth. And wish fulfillment can come through children. It can come through what we personally create. Karma can come through children and through our creations. One is a friend to their children with this particular placement, and we can be well-loved, well-taken care of into our old age. So, difficult aspects can lead to a disconnection from children when one is finally prepared to interact. We can see ostracization there. At the 11th house represents the years after retirement, and aspects to the ruler of the 11th can give us clues to the possibility of happiness or sorrow later in life through one's children and through one's creations.

So, friends in our network can influence our work. Job opportunities come through word of mouth or a friend getting us an interview or giving us a tip. Hard aspects can indicate that the friends that one chooses, how one interacts with them, that can impede some of our opportunities. So, one may not rub people the right way, and they could hold back on helpful information. Sudden windfalls, upsets regarding work can occur because we do have the changes and the freshness and the breakthroughs of the 11th house coming through an area of life that we associate with stability. So, one's fame can come through the type of service that we give, what are we known for? One can feel that they are motivated to be an agent of change in practical ways, such as improving the local park, volunteering to assist developing children, feeding the homeless. But all these things will happen on our own terms because that is the nature of the 11th house. It is coming through a house of help, the house of assistance, but there is autonomy in how we go about those things. Whatever the aspects are, we can have sudden happenings in the realm of health. We can have more impulsivity, more irregularity in stability in an area of life where routine and health go hand in hand. We do not have routine with 11th house things. They are things that are by nature very unpredictable. So, depending on aspects, this could be a troublesome placement. We could have to work harder than most people when it comes to knuckling down and taking the pills, remembering, approaching shakes, simple things, even like remembering to apply some block. We can be moving so fast through life, making such impulsive decisions or choices that we may not notice that we're skipping over some very important things. So, we can have things go unnoticed and then pop up and need to be addressed in a very urgent way with the 11th and 6th if we have difficult aspects.
With the 11th house ruler in the seventh house, our friends can be romantic partners. We have the house of friendships, autonomy, wish fulfillment, the pursuit of happiness, social systems, and that is all coming through the area of life where we are looking to partner. So, we can seek companionship as well as romance with the 11th and the seventh. And we need to be known for who we are as an individual when we're in a partnership. Our autonomy is going to come out within partnerships. So, the house of personal individuality finding expression for joining with another. This can lead to conflict. With hard aspects, we can struggle with space versus closeness. Easy aspects can lead to beliefs and choices, behaviors that can really lead to hitting a jackpot with partners because this is the house of wish fulfillment, the 11th house. So, we can feel that we really have partnered with the person of our dreams. We got a good one. And we can also gain financially from partnerships with the 11th and the seventh. We could be seen as a very high-value mate, and this high value is really due to how one asserts their autonomy, how they really maintain their support goal, how they continue to be interesting. So, the assertion of autonomy can be problematic with the hard aspects, and we can rebel. We can refuse to work with partners. We could be acting single while in a relationship. In the best cases, we can see somebody with the 11th and the seventh who treats partners with humanity rather than deferring to a personal agenda. We can see a partner for what they are. So, there's less objectification. We are also attracted to people that embody optimism, a hopeful attitude, a love of progress, and an openness. So, we're on the lookout for somebody that has a lot of those 11th house attributes.
With the 11th house ruler in the Eighth House, we have the house of friends, sudden insight, politics, our network coming through the house of death, merging, intensity, addiction, transformation. Once friendships and social network undergoes dramatic changes, and as one changes themselves, they have to find others who meet them where they are. So, we may grow out of our social system or network, our friendships. So, one's ideas of giving and service to the social whole are also going to transform. The meanings, the broad meanings that we give to things can very much transform. We're attracted to friends with depth. We are not after a superficial network with the 11th and the 8th. And friends can increase one's troubles with the hard aspects. We could be attracted to dark figures who lead us to take a real look at ourselves, and we could be attracted to friends that cause us a certain amount of trouble with the law. Friends can become sexual partners with the 11th in the 8th, and we can use our friends and our network as insurance against the laws or insecurity. And changes in ideological outlook can trigger a deeper crisis of death anxiety.
With the 11th house ruler in the ninth house, the 11th house of friends and networks, ideology, politics comes into the house of culture, religion, inspiration. And one's network includes those who believe the same and find comfort in similar cultural narratives. So, ideology comes through cultural affinity with others, feeling like we have brothers in arms. So, one is not alone in establishing a map of world meaning with the 11th and the ninth. And we can feel reinforced in our view of reality by the group that we worship with, the people that we run with, the culture that we live within. And we can pursue freedom through education. We can find education to be exhilarating. Difficult aspects to the ruler of the ninth house of the 11th house, sorry, can show that one feels left out or on the fringe of the socially binding groups. We can experience ostracization, and we can feel that our ideology prevents us from belonging or challenges the prevailing religion. Difficult aspects can lead to quite a bit of trouble with opening up our mouth. When we have the 11th and the ninth, easy aspects to the ruler of the 11th house can indicate that we're not challenged by friends or religion to look at what we really believe in. We can accept what appears to be correct with the prevailing ideas and find a comfort in that. And the 11th house ruler in the ninth, it can lead to tears in the fabric of belief, especially with difficult aspects, and that's going to allow for growth. But the easy aspects can lead us to establish a kind of airtight social system that's going to really support our common stories and our shared ideologies. And that can be lovely because on the one hand, we may never have the ideological crisis to deal with, but it can be limiting. We can be seen as a troublemaker again with hard aspects, if we travel too far or read too wide or ask too many questions. And our search for answers, experiences outside of the social or the religious norm, that can threaten the simple stability of the group. So, easy and hard aspects make a big difference with what goes on with the 11th house when we're in the ninth.
With the 11th house ruler in the 10th house, has the 11th house of friends, autonomy, rewards coming through the house of maturity and career and social security. These are both heavily karmic houses, and the pursuit of personal freedom is going to come through how we play the game of social life. And we can find rules freeing with the 11th house in the 10th. We can come to understand how structure can aid us in the pursuit of a better life. We could see that constraint can allow us to focus. Hard aspects to the ruler of the 11th house, it can point to social disruption, disagreement that leads to isolation. We may not be going along in the ways that we need to. There's a certain type and level and experience of conformity within the 10th house that can lead to very good results, really understanding when conformity is a good thing and when it's not, having that discernment there. We may lack that or maybe be very reactive. Our behavior can inhibit when it is that we should or should not conform, who we should or should not listen to. So, we should conform to, you know, when it comes to parents, definitely bosses, authority figures. We can have the reactivity that is shown by difficult aspects coming out in an area of life where we're looking for promotion and to get a good grade on something. So, it can definitely hold us back. And we can be inspired by people who promise safety. We can dedicate our cause of freedom to a leader who promises to uphold our personal ideology if we have an individuated from our parents. So, we could be on the lookout for people who are going to lead us or fight against our enemies that have some dictatorial characteristics. Taking the easy way out, following the rules of another, that can occur with difficult aspects to the ruler of the 11th house, particularly if we consider ourselves to be very individualistic and rebellious. If we don't understand how reactive we are rather than active, that can put us into a position where we can actually be a follower while being under the impression that we are an individualist. So, we can gain wealth and prominence with good aspects to the ruler of the 11th house, and with solved aspects, difficult aspects to the ruler of the 11th house as well. We may achieve our dreams with the 11th coming into the 10th. We can see our karma coming in terms of material rewards, promotion, social status, success, money. Difficult aspects can show that somebody is suffering from a level of Peter Pan syndrome. We don't want to grow up. So, we can have experiences of reactivity and immaturity coming into an area of life where we need to put on a suit and tie in certain cases. We need to know how to play the social game and also how to balance that with individuality. So, if we have a balance of immaturity coming into the 10th house or aspects that really lead to a lack of being able to take responsibility, to not go down, then that's going to strongly impact our ability to earn, our ability to feel secure. So, we have to make some really hard choices with the hard aspects, and we're going to have to make some sacrifices that free us from the bonds of victimhood. And it can be a placement where we can really, really resist growing up because we can strongly believe that we will lose our freedom. When we need to come to understand that taking responsibility, that does lead to freedom.
When we have the ruler of the 11th house in the 11th house itself, the matters of the 11th house are going to serve the matters of the 11th house. So, we find autonomy and freedom through social participation, friendships, community. We are not an island with the 11th house ruler in the 11th house. We can have some very enlightening moments that lead to personal freedom with this placement. We may gain the things, the people, the relationships that we dream of. We can be inspired to strike out and live life without the safety of family or the past, to not know what's coming next, and really fly by the seat of our pants. So, the unknown can be exhilarating rather than scary. You have to look at aspects. Easy aspects are going to lead to a lot of stepping out without a plan and probably having a lot of success and a lot of luck. So, we're drawn to very different types of people and people who have very different interests than ours as well. Variety leads to flexibility in what we believe about ourselves. So, the more diverse the friends and social system that we collect and expose ourselves to, the more flexible we are about how we see ourselves. So, hard aspects can lead to ostracization by peers, being left out, being on the fringe, failing out of step with the times. Have to look at how reactionary might we be or how uncooperative might we be, because this is the house where cooperation can lend extremely good results, and being somebody who's such a trendsetter and gets other people to cooperate within that trend. So, we can feel that we lack the connections, we lack the friendships to make our dreams come true with difficult aspects because we may not be cooperative, we may be reactionary, we may lack the skills, particularly the social skills that we need to attract the kind of people to us that could be that springboard to success, that could help us to make the kind of connection to another person that we need. So, some people can resort to minimizing their dreams to fit their social inadequacies with the hard aspects, and we could even view groups, friends, peers, society as a misunderstanding mob, and we can feel like we are the odd one out. So, look at the aspects to the ruler of the 11th. This is a very good placement most of the time, but difficult aspects can lead to a feeling of general resentment against society itself.
When the 11th house ruler is in the 12th house, the house of aspirations, friendships comes into a house of privacy, spirituality, self-undoing. So, one is not prone to advertising who they know and associate with. We tend to keep things very private. We keep a very public area of life private. We can experience a friend as an enemy, or maybe more than one with a difficult aspect. We can experience some amount of betrayal or things going on behind the scenes at the hands of associates, fans, followers, friends. So, we're drawn to secrecy in groups, cults, groups and people who promise to reveal the truth. So, aspects that describe suspicion can point to paranoia about who seems to be a friend. So, with hard aspects, we may lack discernment regarding our friends, and we may not be solid in our political beliefs with the 11th and the 12th. We may not know what we think about leaders or politics. That can be very fluid with the 11th in the 12th, and this can even lead to a non-participation in the political process. And one can feel very drawn to be with friends who are foreign and present us with mysteries, unknowns, things that have yet to be revealed. And we can be very drawn to friends and associates that come from far-off places. So, we can feel our dreams will come true in a more ideal or undiscovered place, often overseas. We can often have a fantasy of living on an exclusive island all by herself, the 11th and the 12th. So, we can also have very powerful insight into our own unconscious with the 11th in the 12th. That bolt of lightning that we associate with the 11th house, that can come tearing through the mysteries of the self, the veil of the 12th house. And this can be a subtly anxiety-producing placement because of the upsetting nature of the 11th house. It's always threatening to tear through the veil of what is hidden. So, we can feel that our very existence is threatened by inevitable insights, and some people can numb themselves to avoid the eruption of these upsetting insights that the 11th house ruler can bring.
