It is September 2025. That means there is only 3 months left before 2026 comes around.
Now, if you're being completely honest with yourself, you definitely thought that this was the year where everything changes. This was the year where all your goals come true. And yeah, you have made some progress. But deep down, you know that you could have done way, way more. And we all wish we were disciplined. We all wish we were consistent. But the truth is, without accountability and the right systems, habits rarely ever stick. And when there is no one there to notice, it's easy to slip up, to fall off, to get back into the old habits again and again. And that is why I created something very, very special for you, which I'll talk more about later.
Now, in this video, I am going to be revealing the three fundamental secrets that I'm going to personally use to stay locked in, consistent, and focused for the next 3 months of the year. Without further ado, let's begin.
Part number one, procrastination is the absence of consequence. Now look, preparing to do the thing isn't doing the thing. Writing a banger tweet about how you're going to do the thing isn't doing the thing. Hating on the obstacles in the way of doing the thing isn't doing the thing. Reading about how to do the thing isn't doing the thing. The only thing that is doing the thing is doing the thing.
Now when I said that you definitely imagined something in your head. The thing I was talking about instantly in your mind you could imagine the thing that you were pushing off because the key principle that we need to understand is that the way you do something is the way you do everything. You don't need a perfect day. You just need a good day a couple times a week.
Now when it comes to procrastination, it's usually because we obsess over perfection. And when you obsess over perfection with everything that you do, most of the time you don't even end up getting average. Perfection is the enemy of great.
Now, understand that it is going to take you a certain amount of time to start seeing results. And the longer you wait before taking action towards your goals, the more you're pushing your dream and your results and your success further into the future. And the key point I want to come across is the reason you procrastinate is because there is no consequence in your mind. Procrastinating doesn't lead to anything bad. So, you might as well do it. And that is partially true. But one thing you have to understand is the consequences. They don't come right now, but they do come. The consequences of procrastination are pretty big. They just build up. They build up. They build up. And then in two years, and 3 years, the consequences keep stacking up until you're left with the big big burden of knowing that all this time passed without changing who you were, without making changes towards who you want to become.
Now, the main reason for procrastination is in fact a lack of clarity. If you don't have clarity, you're going to push things off and procrastinate. If you have clarity, you're going to be able to execute with intention.
Now, most of the time, whatever you do, it's always going to be a gray area. It's always going to be an unknown. The task ahead of you is going to be intimidating, scary, and it's almost like everything is telling you not to do the task, even though you should. So, what you have to do, an actionable step you can take is breaking down every part of your life into small digestible sections.
Now, breaking things down is perfect because it creates the one thing we lack, which is clarity. When you break things down, when you assess your tasks and you analyze what you have to do, it makes it so easy to see with the right perspective and gain clarity, gain ideas and perspective on how we can move forward on what we need to do to take the next step.
Now, your vision needs clarity. It does not need a cloud of smoke that is obstructing your view on how you can proceed. The last thing you need is smoke that is blinding you from your next steps. So in order to proceed, remove any fog, remove any limiting beliefs and just allow yourself the privilege of seeing things clearly. And if you do those things, then you can finally take real action towards the person you know you want to become.
I've written down a couple things here that really improve clarity with life, with your mind, and reduce brain fog. So number one is long walks in nature. Number two is reading books that inspire you. Number three is doing a social media detox. Number four is deep and conscious breathing. Number five is insightful conversations. And number six is thinking on a piece of paper which is basically journaling. So write down these quotes in your journal because they are going to help you for a lifetime. Procrastination is the absence of consequence. The consequence is a lack of clarity. So create clarity to move forward and build your dream life.
Now let's move on to part number two.
Consistency is a byproduct of obsession. Now consistency doesn't come from discipline. It doesn't come from motivation. Consistency is the natural side effect of obsession, of being obsessed, of wanting more, of wanting to become better and achieve your goals. You see, whatever it is that you want to succeed at, you need to be obsessed. You need to develop a fire that is burning within you that drives you to take action every single day. You need to be thinking about it when you wake up in the morning and when you go to sleep at night and even in your dreams. You need to dream about it. You need to read about it. You need to talk about it. You need to study it. You need to become obsessed.
Because the truth is when you're obsessed, you don't have to force yourself to show up. You don't need extra willpower or discipline. Things just happen automatically. Things just happen and work out in your favor. You just start taking action. You just find yourself already working towards the person you know you want to become. Because with obsession, you just can't not show up. Because if you don't show up, it just eats up at you and you just can't stand the feeling of lying to yourself.
So, you probably heard the common advice, just live a balanced life. But I'm here to tell you, forget balance. If you want to become great, if you want to achieve greatness and stop being average like everybody else, then the truth is you don't need balance. Balance is the last thing you need. You need to lock in. You need consistency. You need to go above and beyond for your goals and your dreams. So, forget trying to be good at 100 different things. Instead, just focus on one to three things in your life that you want to be legendary at. I'm not talking about average. I'm not talking about mediocre. I'm talking about excellent. Pick three things and go allin. Even better, if you can choose one thing and really master that and become excellent and become great at that thing, that is even better. And you need to let everything else take a backseat.
Because if you care about everything, the truth is you care about nothing. If you care about a select few things and you have your energy and your awareness and your emotions just invested into the most important things in your life, that is when you are winning. So I'm here to tell you, pick one to two things in your life and rewire your identity around these things. The same way that Michael Jordan lives basketball, the same way that Conor McGregor lives the fighting game, the same way that Vincent Van Go lived his art. I want you to pick one to two things and make it your identity. For me, that's YouTube. For me, that is exactly what I'm doing right now. What I'm showing up every single day to do.
And here's some even better advice. You can't have doubt at all. Not even 1% doubt. Even 1% doubt is going to ruin your life because doubt is poison. The truth is, either you're all in or you're all out. And that's your call to make.
And on your path to greatness, you going to have people who are hating on you. You're going to have people who throw doubt your way. But you need to silence haters and bad influence. If somebody makes you question yourself, then cut them off. And if you can't actually cut them off at the moment, then cut them off mentally in your head. You need to protect your belief at all costs. There's a quote that really changed my life. If they don't have the life you want, then don't listen to what they have to say.
I mean, look, the truth is, we just hit 35,000 subscribers on this channel, and this is all I do. You know, this is everything I live, everything I breathe for, and I love it. You know, I love the game. I've become more and more obsessed with the game every single day. And that is the only thing that is allowing me to be consistent every single week. I haven't skipped a week of uploads on this channel. You can check for yourself. So, people want consistency, but the truth is consistency is very hard without obsession. And being consistent is actually so easy when you are obsessed with what you're doing, when you love it, when it is your life. Some people might think this is not healthy, but my whole life revolves around making these videos. When I'm having lunch, I'm thinking about making videos. When I'm at the gym, I'm thinking about my next video, how my current video is doing. This my mind is always in the game. When I'm sleeping, half the time I dream about this stuff. And that shows you that obsession is what is going to keep you at the top. And it's just going to set you up for life. It's going to make consistency, focus, and everything you want so easy that it's just impossible to fall off.
Because I know the feeling showing up day after day is hard, man. It is difficult. Consistency is not easy. There are going to be times, man, where you're just like everything is telling you to give up, to quit. Everything is telling you that, you know, maybe I should find something else. And that's normal. It's natural. It is part of the process. And the plans that once started out strong, they often die out. Distraction creeps in. Motivation fades. And all this leaves us frustrated, stuck, and disappointed with our life. And that is exactly why I created Discipline OS, a private community where we focus on the systems that help you stay consistent and focused, especially when life gets messy.
Now, part number three.
Systems create success. We just talked about obsession, and obsession gets you moving, but obsession without systems is chaotic. Eventually, if you don't have the right systems, obsession is going to lead you to burnout, which is exactly what happened to me. I've been running this YouTube channel for a while, and even though I was obsessed, I got burnt out many, many times. And anybody who's experienced lasting success knows for a fact that you need a working system. Systems are the routines, structures, and processes that make success automatic. They are the habits you design so even on your worst days, you're still able to move forward.
For example, if you want to get fit, don't rely on motivation. Rely on systems. Build a system for yourself, a training routine, meal prep, set times, recovery times, and the better and more structured your system is, the easier it is going to be to follow it.
Now, I want you to ask yourself this one question. What is the one smallest non-negotiable thing that I can do to keep seeing progress every single day? It comes back to this quote. When you start seeing results, you get obsessed. So, you want to give yourself these progress indications that are showing you that you're actually moving forward.
So, an example of systems you can use in your daily life could be the following. So, for fitness, work out at 7:00 a.m. 4 days a week, and pre-plan your meals every Sunday. For business, it could be something like make 10 cold calls a day, publish one piece of content every day, review any key performance indicators, and plan the week ahead. For learning a skill, this could be something like 90 minutes of deep practice. So, let's say I want to learn a card trick. I take 90 minutes to learn the card trick every single day without distraction. Or if I want to learn a pen spin, I take 90 minutes and I focus only on that one thing. And if I'm watching a video for example about learning these skills or maybe I want to learn how to be more focused, more disciplined. Maybe I want to learn how to improve my testosterone. But the key is you need to take notes. The key is you need to really dial down and be focused. And you want to make everything easy. You want to create systems for everything because that is how the top 1% succeed.
The most successful people, they even set alarms for the time they have to go to bed. Imagine that. Setting an alarm for when you wake up. Everybody does that. But who sets an alarm for the time you have to go to sleep? Imagine I set an alarm at 10:00 p.m. So when the alarm rings, I know it's time to go to bed. It's time to read a book and it's time to start my nighttime routine. It's kind of weird, but the truth is that is exactly what you need. You need these plans. You need system. You need structure.
If you want to go to the gym, the one thing you can do is prepare your gym clothes and your bag right at the door. So you don't have to think about what you have to wear. You don't have to think about this or that. Everything is ready. And now when it comes to work and sitting at your desk, what you have to do to change your life is to remove and shut out all distractions. Anything that could potentially disrupt your focus and cut you out of the flow state you want to enter is going to really ruin your progress. You need to mute notifications, turn off your phone, put your phone somewhere else in another room, and just focus on the task ahead.
You see, systems are actually about designing your environment so that failure becomes harder than success. So that being distracted becomes harder than being focused. So that being inconsistent becomes harder than being consistent. And that is where everything starts to flow. So to create systems, you can use any tools available online. You can join discipline OS the community. We have all the tools in there. The truth is most people struggle with clarity. They struggle with consistency because they do not have systems. And the one thing that is going to make you succeed at anything that you do is having the right system and abiding by it.
So since you're watching till here, I can see that you are dedicated. I can see that you are committed and I can see that you care about your growth. Now all you're missing are these systems for consistency and accountability. So your next step is simple. Don't do this alone. No more excuses. No more pushing things off for tomorrow.
