Looks like today we have unexpectedly got a glimpse of a pretty impressive new stealth model called Code Supernova. It's a versatile agentic coding model that supports image inputs and offers a massive 200k context window. The model is currently free to access for anyone through Windsurf, Klein, Kilo Code, and several other AI agents, and it is being tested in alpha across these platforms.
Some leaks claim that Code Supernova is an iteration of the new Grok 4 coder or the new Anthropic Claude 4.5 model variation, though that seems doubtful at the moment. However, others report to point that Anthropic is the source of this model due to its similar system prompt. But whatever its origin, this model is super fast, and it delivers solid code generation with reasoning built within.
Just take a look at this example of the quality of output of the Supernova model within Kilo Code. I had given it a prompt to create a VS Code clone, and in a single shot, it was able to develop this VS Code clone. It is a functional app that is a code editor similar to VS Code, and it was built with the Supernova model quite rapidly.
There are many ways to access this model. You can definitely do so completely for free through all these agents like Windsurf, Kilo Code, Cursor, or even Cursor, and there are many other options. So, for example, if you want to use it, simply go ahead to the extension. And once you have it opened up, you want to head over to the settings tab. And then for the model provider, in this case, if you're using Kilo Code, select that. And then you want to then just simply go ahead and select the Code Supernova model. And then you're going to be able to access it completely for free directly within VS Code.
But the beauty of this model is that it can process images pretty well. So, in this case, if I am providing this wireframe of a website, I can simply just tell the Supernova model, "Could you please create a website based off of this wireframe?" And like I mentioned, it is super fast, and it also has reasoning built within. So, it's going to be able to thoroughly create a plan, review the wireframe details by using its multimodal feature, and then it is going to be able to work on developing this wireframe or this landing page based off of this wireframe.
So, this was the wireframe that I had sent in, and this is the output that I've gotten. It added animations, which is pretty cool, and it did keep the main structure where it has focused on adding everything that was there for this red plants wireframe that was sent in. So, you can see that it tried to even follow the font, but obviously, AI fails at doing that. But you can see the product card, which it was actually listed over here. The different types of categories like jungle plants, outdoor plants, and you can see that there's even animations for these. And if you click on it, I guess you can even visualize certain sections of the different types of plants. And if you scroll down, it also added a couple of other things. So, I guess with front-end development, it's not the best, but it's decent, and it can follow through with different modalities.
Before we get started with today's video, allow me to introduce our sponsor, KD, your all-in-one design playground where ideas come to life faster than ever. And just recently, the Nano Banana model is now powering KD Flows. It's fast, consistent, precise, keeping your logos, graphics, and typography intact while generating stunning variations in seconds. And what's nice is that between September 29th and October 3rd, Nano Banana will be unlimited for all Pro and Expert users, which is insane.
What's also great is that ChatGPT is fully integrated within KD, where you can brainstorm, refine prompts, and generate ideas, all without leaving your canvas. Want to skip the blank page? Well, AI Design Bundles give you curated prompts and images from skincare textures to scenic landscapes to dynamic people in motion. You start strong, iterate fast, and you can refine endlessly. With KD, you can design smarter, not harder. You can refine styles, mix fonts, perfect every single detail, all within seconds. KD Flows gives you full creative freedom to bring your vision to life. So, are you ready to level up your workflow? Well, try KD Flows for free and use the code in the description below to get 25% off your first Pro month. Nano Banana, ChatGPT, and AI Design Bundles all in one singular place with KD.
Also, guys, just a side note on Ella Marina, the WebDev Arena. This is where I was just recently just testing out a couple of stealth models that were dropped over here. And I do believe most of them are from Grok, but there was one called Rainarmm, and it was a pretty impressive model that was able to output some pretty impressive generations. And I was thinking that that could be another variation of the Claude 4.5 Sonnet model. If this Code Supernova model could be a variation, this other Rainarm model could be another variation that was tested over here on the WebDev Arena. And you can see this right now. This is where I had requested to create a web-based email service like Gmail. And this is the output that I got with Rainarm or Rainarm. And this is something that hints that it could be maybe one of the variations of the Claude 4 model series.
Now, with Root Code, I was just testing out things, and you can see that I'm using the Code Supernova model, and I had generated a butterfly, and this is how it looks, which looks pretty awesome in my opinion. There's symmetry, and you've got a pretty nice refined look of a butterfly that it was capable of generating.
Now, the next prompt I gave was to create a controller with SVG code, and this is the output that I got, and it's pretty impressive in my opinion. It looks like somewhat of a controller, and it's not butchered together, which I guess is a good sign, but then again, it doesn't look like a full-on controller. So, I guess you can give it a pass, but at the same time, it doesn't really look like a controller.
Now, my next prompt was to animate it. So, let's see how it looks. And in this case, it definitely does not look perfect. I guess you have the joysticks that kind of work, but these four buttons shouldn't be moving around. So maybe I should have told it to animate the butterfly and not this distorted controller. But I guess it's somewhat animated. But now it makes me think that this model is definitely not the Claude 4.5 iteration.
However, one area that I'm really impressed by is how well it is in terms of coding with speed. It is something that can rapidly take your prompt and prototype with it. It may have problems with tool calling, but overall, due to its multimodal capabilities as well as its speed, it is something that brings up, I guess, the downsides of this model.
Now, this is a really basic dashboard that I generated for a crypto app. And this is where you can trade. It has a portfolio and an AI assistant. It was able to develop all of these different features, but in my opinion, the quality is not the best, and it looks like a tacky AI-generated app to me. So, in this case, I guess you can prototype with it, but you're not going to be able to get the best outputs out of it.

Whatever model it may be, overall, I do find it to be decent in terms of its output, and it's definitely better than what we saw previously with the Grok Fast Code model. So, this is something that you can unlimitedly access through these different AI agents, which I definitely recommend that you do, as it will be taken down within the next couple of days. So, it's best to make the most out of it through these different coding agents. It has a pretty good context window. It's fast, and its output is pretty decent.
