The Power Of Intention

Paul Chek2:21

Transcription

When you set an intention, what kind of conversation do you have between body, mind, and spirit or soul?

Well, well, what I do is actually say thank you for what I've already created. Visualize, if it's an athletic achievement, I visualize myself already there. So, what I do is I project myself forward first into the mental field, second into the astral dimension, and third into the etheric, and finally into the body. So, I create an attractor that I see as already having accomplished that goal or objective or dream, and then I fill that with my emotion, and then I promise myself that I will behave as though I am that person.

So, if I want to run a marathon, I don't wait till I finish the marathon to call myself a marathoner. I see myself as the marathoner who's already run that time, and then I promise myself to be congruent with that intention by eating, training, and living the way a marathoner would need to live to be that person.

You know, I teach a test called the Grand Canyon test so that people know how to set a dream or an intention effectively. And so, the example I often give is if you stand at the edge of the Grand Canyon and say, "I want to lose 60 lb in 6 months." Or whatever number it is, it doesn't matter. The Grand Canyon will say, "I want to lose X pounds. I want to lose. I want to lose." And I say to the person, "Now, what was the verb there?" Wanting. So, 3 months down the line, you're getting your dream. You're wanting.

But if you say to the Grand Canyon, "It's" and then you state the date of your intention, "It's September the 26th. I am 60 lb lighter than I was. I look great, and I feel great." The Grand Canyon gives you that back. Because the challenge with God is as unconditional love, God cannot say no. That creates a condition. The answer is always yes from God. So, once you realize the answer is always yes, then you really have to manage your intention because you're always getting your dreams every minute with every thought, with every choice. And that is why we have to become an adult and be more conscious of our power as a co-creator, or we just have to face the mirror. This is why Jung says if you don't meet your unconscious on the inside, it will meet you on the outside in the events of your life, and you will call it fate.
