Everyone says you can sell more stuff with AI, but how? Well, one way is by making it write you better copy, but it's harder to do than what people say it is. You might have tried it before and found that it didn't really write stuff that's any good. So, today I'm going to show you how to write excellent copy instantly using AI without even typing.
So, if you were to listen to the internet, you would see that like everyone's saying, you know, you have to have the right prompts and all of this kind of stuff. And like that's kind of true, but writing prompts is pretty hard. So, how about we do this instead?
All right, let's start with email. You and I both know that, you know, if you send more email to your list and follow up with them and you do it right, you'll probably sell more stuff. But writing email is a pain and it kind of takes forever. Not anymore. Check this out. We're at a site called ojoy.ai. We're using a tool called Rewrite. And this thing you can just talk to. Let's say that we have these supermanly, really tough guy ultimate fighting championship shirts that are glitter sparkly and they have unicorns on them and we want to sell them. We could just go, "Hey, write me an email um selling my super cool glitter t-shirts that have unicorns on them and make the email talk about how I'm selling them for 50% off today because I'm in a great mood because I've been drinking a lot of cough syrup and tell them how cool they're going to look in these glitter unicorn t-shirts."
Okay, so instead of worrying about it, I just rambled for 33 seconds and here we go. All right, it's going to write an email for me. And obviously, this email is ridiculous. I mean, it's cool, but it's a little bit long and stuff. So, let's change it. Let's say, all right, first of all, let's make the subject line be more relevant to the fact that I'm all hopped up on cough syrup and they can get the shirt for 50% off. So, let's like lead with that 50% off thing. Break it down to like an eighth grade, sixth grade reading level, but still keep that funny tone and still let them know that these shirts are freaking awesome and they will look totally cool if they wear them. So, I spoke for 31 seconds. They're exhausting. And then I had to click the arrow and now it's written a solid email. I mean, considering, you know, what we're selling here, these unicorn shorts, which would make you almost aggressive looking, like toxic masculinity level. So, I wouldn't wear these because it would intimidate people. But writing one email, not that hard.
But what's better than one email? A series of emails. Why don't we do a sale? So check this out. Instead of agonizing over it and stuff, we can just go, okay, cool. I want to make this series like a 6-hour deadline series. So that would be email number one and the, you know, the deal expires in 6 hours. So I want to do a total of four emails. All right. So email number two can go out like an hour later. And um let's make that one a little more scarcity driven and you know have that call to action like up a little bit higher in the email. Email number three can go out 2 hours before the deadline uh hits and it can increase the scarcity a little bit more you know and be a little bit more intense. And then email number four, that one will go out like 30 minutes before it expires and needs to be really scarcity driven and you know make sure they don't miss out because they don't want to not have a unicorn glitter shirt. They won't be cool. I mean, obviously, you know, but that was 57 seconds, by the way. And it just wrote me the entire sequence. And this is hilarious, by the way. So, 5 hours left. Don't be the person without a unicorn shirt. That's great. All right, check it out. And so, now we're going to get even more scarcity in there. 2 hours before the deadline. Hey, 2 hours left and I'm starting to sober up. I can't believe I'm putting this on camera. Anyway, solid freaking email. And then we have the final one. 30 minutes, then you lose forever. Oh my gosh. You can never be part of the unicorn glitter club. What kind of life would you like to live?
So that easy, dude. I mean, it took longer for me to tell you about it than it did to do it, but if you think about it, people will charge you a lot of money to write an actual email sequence for you. And I know this was a ridiculous example, but um dude, just go on Upwork or whatever and like look and see what it costs to get people to write email sequences for you that are good. If we were in the glitter-covered unicorn shirt business, hard to even say that with a straight face, we would have saved, I don't know, a thousand bucks or something because we wouldn't have had to pay anyone to write this email sequence.
So, we got a solid email sequence to sell these badass unicorn shirts. But, uh, we need a web page that's going to convert and we need a way to get people on our list, which obviously we need content in order to do that. Now, we're going to save, I don't know, probably five grand or so and a whole bunch of time by using this tool, Project Shepard, to go ahead and create our content that gets leads and even help us with our sales messaging and stuff. And let's pretend since we're talking about getting all hopped up on cough syrup that we're selling this stuff, morning recovery. It it keeps you from being hung over. I'm going to select all and just copy everything on this web page here. Now, I don't know this product. I don't know this company. Let's just assume it's awesome. Um, and I'm going to go over to Project Shepard like this. And um, let's start with some social media content ideas. I'm about to paste a sales letter below for you. And I want you to help me write written Facebook and Instagram posts and content and stuff based on what you read in the sales letter. All right. So, I'll just paste it here and it's going to read it and it's probably going to ask me some questions. Yeah. So, I'll just be like, "Hey, don't worry about asking me a bunch of questions and stuff. Just use whatever you can from the stuff I gave you." Cool.
All right. So, it wrote me some like pretty solid social posts, which is great. But, let's make these cooler. These are usable. This is how most people would use AI, by the way. They probably wouldn't even put their freaking sales page in there. But, we don't want to be like most people, cuz most people are dumb. Except me. I'm obviously perfect and except you. So, let's make this even cooler. So, this is something that would take typically hours and to have a professional do what we're about to do right now. Probably cost you around 5 to 10 grand. Um, we're going to take a couple of seconds here and we're going to knock it out. So, this is a new tool that we built and this thing is like clawed, but we just took all the brakes off of it and added a bunch more memory and injected it with steroids. So, here's what we're going to do. I'm going to give you a sales page and I want you to read it and I want you to look through it and find out what the biggest benefits are. Like what's the big promise? What makes it work? What's the coolest thing about it? All right, cool. Here it is. Okay, 13 seconds of talking. And we didn't have to read all this stuff. It says the big promise is that you feel better. And what makes it cool is they have this clinically backed formula. So, this is a big deal. They did a a controlled study and it's up to 80% better. The 80% thing is a really big deal. So, let's find that. And also, these are images. If we were selling this, we would have to have a sales page that converted, right? So, watch this. I'm going to give you a screenshot with the ingredients. Um, just make sure you can read them real quick. There we go. Fire that on up there. Now, while it's working on that, I'm going to find that case study. Let's copy this sucker. I'm going to come back over here. I'm going to say, hey, you know how it says that it had the case study and 80% of people felt better? Here's the case study. I'm going to paste it below. Sweet. Now, and check this out. This was linked, look, from their site right here about prickly pear something. There we go. That just sounds funny. Copy that right here. Here's a report about um one of the ingredients called prickly pear. So, what we've learned here is that the coolest thing about this is that 80% of people that use it say they feel better and that's like based on a clinical thingy. It says right here it's not snake oil. It's a real study. This actually like freaking works. And it says the same thing about this prickly pear business. So hot diggity.
All right. So what we can do now is I can come back over here and now that I know the main angle I can say okay I want to rewrite these posts. Let's just start with one and I'm going to give you some data. All right. Um the first thing that you need to know is that 80% uh in a clinical trial 80% of people who use this product said they felt better. And one of the ingredients is this stuff called prickly pear. And I'm about to paste a medical study about prickly pear below. Okay, so that's the prickly pear thing. Here's the uh clinical report thingy where 80% of people felt better. Another ingredient in the product is uh this ginseng. And here's some data about that. Great. All right. So, I didn't even tell it to like use the data. It just did. And so, now it's like making these posts for us. And remember, this is designed to give you a rough draft. And then we're going to make it sound cool. So you can make it sound cool in a whole bunch of ways. Like you can just say, "Hey, make it easier to read or whatever." Or you can train it to write like you or whoever you want it to. So I can just say, "Cool. All right. I want you to um read these samples I'm about to give you as a bunch of my writing. And I want you to like analyze it, my vocabulary, my diction, my general style and tone, and train yourself to write exactly like me. Let me know when you're ready. Sweet. Okay. So, yeah, rewrite that first post that you just gave me, but make it shorter and use my writing style and tone. Reduce it down to like a sixth grade reading level as well. And this is a solid freaking social post. I mean, you could even read this out loud as a video script if you want to, but I forgot to give it the product name. So, let's see. It's called morning recovery. All right. The product is called morning recovery. I forgot to tell you that. So, let's just mention that in the post, please, and make morning recovery sound cool. We're just helping them decide on their own to try the product. And perfect is basically the same post, but now it mentions the stuff. And now it's even given us visual ideas and everything. So, check this out. Based on all the information I've given you, give me a week's worth of content. Just give me a little table that's like Monday and then name of the post, the title of it, and then the general idea of what the post would contain. So now it's given me all the post ideas and the titles, the general ideas. I even asked it to give me visual details and I can just come here and be like, "Okay, write the post for Saturday. Remember to write it like me. Keep it at a sixth grade reading level and keep it brief and short and benefit driven." So, here's Saturday's post. This is a solid post, too.
But you know what we don't have yet? Well, I mean, technically, I guess they do have a website, but what if you didn't? What if we needed your site to actually sell and convert? Well, you could hire a professional copywriter and spend God knows how much money, or we could just use Project Shephard. But before we do, there's a thing when it comes to writing stuff with AI, especially writing copy. There's a little secret here. All right? Don't do it like you're using chat GPT or whatever. There's basically a couple steps. You want to do a brain dump where you're like, I need a sales letter. Here's all the stuff I know about my product. That's the brain dump. Then you let it write you an outline of your rough draft just to make sure you've got all the facts and everything. Then let it write you a rough draft and then make it sound cool. All right. So, we're going to do that because that's easy. And this is going to do the work of someone that you would pay between $5 to $50,000.
So, I've opened up a new chat in Project Shephardd, and I'm just going to say this. Hey, I'm going to need you to help me write a sales letter for this thing that helps prevent hangovers and stuff, and I'm just going to give you a whole bunch of information right now, and then we'll deal with it later. Okay? So, just here's the info. I know, brilliantly prompt um or prompted. And what we'll do now is I'm just going to take all the stuff over here and I'm just going to paste it in there and just brain dump it all in. So, I copied and pasted a bunch of stuff from their site and the medical studies and stuff, and I'm just now going to let Project Shepard read it, and then we'll figure out what to do. And again, outline, rough draft, sound cool. All right, that's it. So, it's going to ask us some questions and um I'm not really going to be cooperative. Okay, what I need you to do first is read through every single thing that I gave you and analyze it just unbelievably thoroughly. Learn everything you possibly can about the benefits of this product, what makes it work, why it's different, and why it's special.
Okay, so it read like 8 zillion pages of stuff and it's done this analysis for me and it's given me all these different marketing angles and it's even suggesting a sales letter. I'm going to ask one question, though. Hey, what's the biggest promise this thing makes? Like what's what's the big benefit? Why would somebody want this? I'm looking for like the big idea. And now it fed it to us. Hey, the big idea is you can drink and have zero consequences the next day, unless of course you do something stupid. All right, now that might be a little bit exaggerated, but I love this. What if there was no hangover at all? So, look, it gives us this big idea concept and then it gives us all of these other marketing angles we could use. So, I like this first angle. I don't know if I necessarily like the wording. So, check this out. Okay. I like the I like the idea of what if you can drink all you want and never be hung over again, which is kind of angle number one. And I like your hook options. So, I like to weave all of these hooks into the sales letter with the overall theme being you can drink all you want and never be hung over. So, just give me an outline of the sales letter. And what's cool about Project Shepard and if you go through this process is you can like this is why I like the outlines. You can change stuff before you have it write like a whole freaking letter. Okay, I like this outline. I want to just switch stuff up. Let's keep the opening hook as it is. and let's move straight into the promise and then go into the how to use it section um number eight and then we want to talk about why it works and the patent pending difference. Then we want to give a ton of social proof and then we want to give the offer and handle the objections as a PS. So just give me that as an outline so I can make sure you got it.
All right, cool. So it wrote my outline for me and now we can get it to write the rough draft and we don't care if it sounds cool yet. So I'll just say great, please write the sales letter completely. Thank you. All righty. That was exhausting. I don't care about this rough draft, by the way. It doesn't have to sound cool or anything. It just needs to have the right information in the right order. That's all. Cool. So, dang, man. I mean, it wrote like a full-on long form sales letter here.
Here's how to make this way cooler. All right. I want you to read that complete rough draft from start to finish. Analyze every single word and then give me 10 hardcore hard-hitting direct response ideas. I like personally something like drink as much as you want without being hung over. Something like that. But give me 10 different ideas. Now, I already like number one. This is awesome. But I like to do this anyway. Okay, these are great. I like number one. Give me 10 more just like it that are even harder core like scroll-stopping obnoxious. Someone sees this and they can't possibly resist reading the rest of the letter. And these are hilarious. So is this one and drank it till 3:00 a.m. on a Tuesday and still crush your 7:00 a.m. meeting. That's awesome. I'm going to stick with that first one, though. So, I'm going to copy this sucker. And check this out. I like the headline that I'm about to paste below as well as the subhead. But I like the overall tone of your second round. So, what I want you to do is use that headline that I'm going to paste below and then rewrite the opening part of the sales letter to match the style and tone and expectations that are set by this headline and subhead and make it kind of aggressive like you did in that second round. Okay? So, yada yada yada yada. It's going to rewrite the first part of the letter.
So, now let's compare. All right. Here's the first draft. All right, before we did this little exercise, "Drink like you're 21. Wake up like you're 21." It took me a minute to understand that. Might be because I drank like I was 21 starting from like age 15 through around 40. Um, the patent-pending formula that finally lets you have it all without the morning after regret. Okay, not bad. "What if there was a $36 bottle that gives you back 52 days a year? What if you never had to say blah blah blah?" Okay, that's rough draft. Now, we did that little headline trick and we told it to rewrite the opening based on that cool headline. Okay, so "How to drink as much as you want without ever being hung over again. The patent-pending formula 826 people swear by and why it works when everything else fails." Look, I'm going to be straight with you. If you've tried other hangover cures before, you probably think this is I get it. You've chugged the electrolyte drinks. You've popped the sketchy pills from Amazon. You've forced down greasy food at 2 am. You've done the chug a gallon of water before. Dude, this is like I have lived that lifestyle professionally for a long I don't anymore, but I got about, you know, 30 years under my belt of living like that. That's like speaking to the audience right there. That's ridiculous.
So, what we can do now that we have it, you know, writing in a cool style and tone is we can just say, "Great, go ahead and write the entire letter for me starting from the top and get rid of those horizontal lines between the sections, please." So, this letter is freaking killer. Only thing I I think it'd be better. So, okay, I like this letter a lot. I just want to make the subheads more aggressive, like um "How it works. Seriously, a child could do this." That's okay. But let's really match that same aggressive tone that you had in that second round of headlines. And then the same with "Here's why it works and why everything else you've tried doesn't." Just make that hit a lot harder. Like make that 10 times harder hitting. And "The star ingredient" that just doesn't sound cool. Let's like change that to something that sounds cooler than the star ingredient. I don't know. But you know what to do. Just make it sound cooler and the part where you've got the "all-star supporting cast" like word that better so that it just sounds cooler and more aggressive and actually interesting. And the "patent-pending difference" part, that part gets super boring and lame. I think we can shorten that a lot. Nobody cares about the beta-cyclodextrin casing. They're getting liquored up for God's sake. So, let's cut all that part out and basically get the message across that this stuff works and shorten it a lot. Oh, and let's see that sub-headline, "Stop choosing between fun tonight and crushing tomorrow." That could be stronger. That's just a little bit weak. And "PS, your questions answered." That's a weak PS. So, just make that sound better. You know what you're doing. So, you do that.
Okay. Two minutes and 20 seconds. But look, that 2 minutes and 20 seconds, that's where your money's made. You know, your money's not made in, "Okay, write me a sales letter about this thing." And then you're like, "All right, I mean, that's what your competition's doing." And hey, man, let them, you know, I like saying AI can fix a lot of things, but it can't fix stupid. You know, let everybody else be stupid. You take that extra two minutes and do this. I've never seen this product in my life, by the way. I don't drink anymore, but if I did, I'd get me a whole bunch of this. You know what I mean? I'd be like, "Okay, I know what to do now." And look how much better this is. It's so easy. You could do it drunk, which you probably will be, dude. I mean, you know, that's who we're writing to. Um, "Here's why this works when water, pills, and everything else fails miserably." That's awesome. And I love this one down here. Um, let's see. "Everything you're probably wondering right now." So, this is great.
And you know how earlier when we just like made up email for um our glitter unicorn shirts? Um well now that we have a sales letter and stuff, we can just use the sales letter as fodder for the emails. We'll do it in rewrite cuz it's fun. Check it out. Hey, I'm going to paste my sales letter for my hangover cure or prevention stuff below and I want you to write me an email. I'll make it brief that just tells people to go buy it before they get liquored up and end up feeling horrible. Okay, so that was uh a lot to do. And so now I'll just paste the sales letter. All right. Boom. Here we go. And dude, it wrote great. I didn't tell it to write in a specific way. It just writes like good freaking emails.
So now let's make the whole email sequence. We'll come full circle. This is awesome. Okay, so now write me four more emails assuming that somebody abandoned the cart. They started to order but they didn't and they need to go order right now and so they're each going to be sent one day apart and the general theme is "What do you like being hung over? The hell is wrong with you?" Uh but obviously be a little more friendly than that. You know like maybe looks like you forgot to finish your order maybe because you're too hung over or something like that. Go ahead and try to prompt that. You know what I mean? Like ain't going to happen. Man, it wrote the whole thing for us right here. So there we go. We just completed the whole thing. Like for an an existing product, this would probably be something that would cost around $10,000 bucks. A lot more actually. If you were hiring an A-level copywriter and we've got social content based on real stuff. We have a hard-hitting sales letter. And we've got emails. Easy. Nothing to it. ojoy.ai. You can try it free if you want to. You'll never guess where. Yeah, I think you know. Ojoy.ai. Hey, thanks for watching this. Take it easy.
