There was a recent video done by Matt Pal. Many Christians are leaving Christianity right now and becoming Eastern Orthodox. And let me say that Eastern Orthodoxy is a pagan false religion. And I'm going to prove to you in this video why that is.
Number one, and mainly because they believe that you cannot know that you'll go to heaven when you die. You cannot have an assurance of salvation.
Now, people like Matt Pow and others, they'll use a lot of scare tactics. The Orthodox believe you can lose your salvation like a coin. No, we believe it in the same sense that the apostles and the fathers taught it. They are the grounding for this teaching. And so St. Paul is the one who says that his salvation isn't even 100%. Right? He's saying there's a possibility of apostasy. There's the possibility of shipwreck. There's a possibility of not finishing the race. And that's exactly what the fathers say in our Orthodox saints.
You know, the Protestant um is is looking if you died right now. Well, I think yes. I hope that if I died right now, if I drop dead right now, that I would inherit the kingdom of heaven. That's my hope.
Look, Jesus said in John 6:47, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on me hath everlasting life."
That's true. Jesus will also say, "Where the seeds were planted here, and the seeds were planted here, but then the wealth and pleasures of this world choked the plant and it died." Why? Someone who actually has heard the word of God, received it, starts growing in the faith, but then they become swept away by the temptations of this world, particularly wealth and pleasure, and they switch their attention to that and they embrace it and they walk away from the faith. It's kind of like a moral apostasy. Well, that's an example of our Lord saying, "You can lose your faith. You can walk away from it. You can abandon him." Right?
Do you see how simple that is? That if you trust Christ and you rely on him, you believe on him to get you to heaven, he's going to take you there. He says you have eternal life. That is a promise of God. The Bible goes on to say in first John and this...
I mean, it is a promise that if you remain in Christ, he will remain in you. But you definitely have to remain in Christ. You cannot apostasize from Christ. And Christ our Lord and the apostles are all very consistent with this.
Is the promise that he hath promised us even eternal life. And the Bible tells us that we are saved right now if we believe his promise that he promised us even eternal life. That we possess eternal life. That we can have an assurance of salvation.
So he's only giving us like tidbits rather than the whole council of God.
They deny it. Orthodoxy is thus not Christian.
He just said Orthodoxy is not Christian. It is historical Christianity. It's the original thing.
What does everybody else say? What do all the other religions of this world say? I just hope. I just hope so. That's what I hear from people over and over and over. I hope so. I hope so. That's what most people say.
I mean, St. Paul said it. He said, "I I I hope that I will finish the race." He prays that he will not his faith will not be shipwrecked. So, if he's got a problem with the teaching, he's got a problem with St. Paul. He's got a problem with um with Jesus. Yeah. The parable of the 10 virgins. Yeah, that's a good example, right? All not all were saved because not all filled their lamps with oil. The Holy Spirit like they believed he was coming, but they weren't ready for his coming. They were living for themselves.

So these are like bit more in-depth videos on the history of these things. So you can have a little bit greater understanding.
