Okay, there's some chains down that way, so we're not gonna go down that way. Okay, so something is in here with me. I think. I'm not really sure.

My name is Eric Coons. I grew up in Garland, right near Plano, and I've worked in a lot of different industries. And I love to skateboard. I love to write. And I've filled most of my life with those, those things. Right near Collin Creek Mall, my friends and I used to skate all the time, right behind the Hobby Lobby area, which back then used to be Hemisphere Furniture. Really fun to skate. And we noticed one day that there were these giant tunnels down in the creek at the end of the parking lot. And you see these giant three tunnels that seemingly lead to, I don't know, another dimension or something.

Oh, hey, what's going on guys? Uh, I'm the guy that you just saw in that documentary last year. About this time, I got the awesome opportunity to work with the city of Plano and their entire like theater system where we created a haunted walk that was all virtual since it was COVID. And it is still kind of COVID, but it was really, really COVID back in 2020 of Halloween. They basically created this haunted Halloween tour where they went and visited a bunch of people that knew a lot about hauntings in Plano. They approached me about the tunnels we are about to go in because I have a lot of experience being down there. Although I've only actually been down there once alone. And that's the point of today's video. I'm going to go down there alone.

Now, today we're going to be skating. We're going to be exploring. We're going to be urbexing, whatever you want to call it. I am super excited because I have had this video planned since last year. I am so, so, so pumped to get down there into the tunnels and start videoing. I am not sure how the lighting is gonna be. I bought a light just for this, so hopefully it's super bright. And I brought backups. As a quick disclaimer, I do not recommend that anybody goes down into these tunnels. And I also really don't recommend that you go down in the tunnels alone. Now, having said that, let's go down in those tunnels and let me do it alone.

Well, this looks a lot different the last time I was down here. It looks like they're doing some sort of work. So I was really excited to actually skate this, but we're not going to get to. Before we go into the tunnels, if you can see the cement goes down like a quarter pipe and then drops off of like a three block. So if you ever come and skate out here, you should definitely drop in on this. But there's a lot of debris down here, so we're not gonna do that right now. Let's keep going.

[Music]

Before we enter the tunnels, let's do some flat ground tricks because I'm not sure how much skating is going to go down once we get into the tunnels.

All right, enough messing around. Let's get in those tunnels. Let's skate them. Let's explore them. So it's about to get really dark. And by the time we come out of these tunnels, it will definitely not be light out anymore. So we're going to find our way back out in the darkness. This is how dark it is that we're going in. It's complete darkness. So I brought a light. Maybe it'll turn on. Oh god, please turn on. Hey. Oh, there we go.

So it looks like a lot of the water is being diverged by some sort of construction over here. So the tunnel we need to go in, the big culvert, it is like completely wet. So I'm probably gonna have to get my feet wet already, but that's what you got to do.

[Music]

It is super quiet in here. We're gonna have to get across somehow. I'm not really sure how yet. Well, I just found the thinnest part of the water stream, so hopefully I can get across without getting too wet.

[Music]

Dang it, my shoes are soaked. This is a good start. So this board is definitely going to be ruined by the time I get out of here. That is where we came from, all the way down there. This is where we're going in. This is three tunnels that go way down. Now, there are two tunnels that I have been all the way down. One tunnel in the middle, I never have, because it goes upwards. And I don't know what that means in a tunnel. So that's the one we're going to take today once we get there.

[Music]

[Applause]

I don't know what that is, but that's kind of freaky.

[Music]

[Applause]

And we've got the third culvert. So I guess we'll go down this first. Oh, there's a massive roach. Oh my god, that boy is huge. If you don't like roaches, do not come down here. Did I mention how freaking silent it is down here? So creepy. I usually walk like this, but I think it makes the camera too shaky. So I gotta walk along the side with my feet crooked along the pipe. There's not too much room in here, as you can see. And I'm pretty short. Looks like a fun little maze if you're a little bit smaller. Seems pretty inviting.

[Music]

I can't have a tunnel without an anarchist symbol. We're almost to the room with the bloody handprints. It's one of the coolest tunnels in the world.

[Music]

[Music]

Oh my god, this room always gets me. Yeah, I just got hit with water. This room is so cool. I'm gonna try and skate it. Y'all will let me know when there's a ghost or something behind me, right? Okay, thank you.

[Music]

[Music]

[Music]

That was just about the funnest thing you could possibly do.

[Music]

Oh god.

[Music]

[Music]

So the room I've been skating in, this is what I call the room. It's got this really creepy circle up top. And it's got just all sorts of cool spray paint all over the place. Now, these are the three tunnels we came from. I've been down this tunnel on the right with my friend James. That one wasn't very good because it comes to a dead end like pretty much right after you get around a corner up there. This one on the far left is a little bit more ominous because it just dead ends into a room. No idea what they had planned for that. But I remember I came here once and it was a mattress back there. So it seems like a pretty cool place to live.

All right, I've got my skateboard on my backpack. Let's get to exploring up this tunnel and see what's down there. Oh, that's weird. It's wooden out. Okay.

[Applause]

[Music]

[Applause]

You know, for as cool as it is down here temperature-wise, I'm sweating. Might be just because I skated inside of a closed-off, no wind tunnel, but you know, whatever.

I wonder how far down this goes. I think the tunnel's getting smaller, but I can't really. I want to tell. Snag your head on that. That is tetanus city. Onward to hell. I was just in hell. This reaper guy's got a big fan base down here.

Oh, bathroom. That looks so sick. Oh my god, that's awesome. Oh my god, there's a second room. Holy crap. I never knew there was a second room because none of the other tunnels lead anywhere. Oh my god, this is so cool. Oh, maybe, maybe I did see this second tunnel. No, I don't think so. This is a different big tunnel. I'm very confused. Either way, this is a really cool room. So should we go left or right? I feel like we should just continue down this pipe. We're in a committed relationship to this pipe now. Looks cool. I have walked through a lot of spider webs. And I hope I don't have any spiders on me because that would suck.

[Music]

So I don't know if you can hear it on the camera, but I'm starting to pick up music somewhere, which is very insidious.

[Applause]

Damn, I've been walking down this tunnel forever. Oh, something's coming.

[Music]

Is that a dead end? Where is that a turn? Oh, it's a turn.

[Music]

Okay. Oh, that's a big roach. You don't like being in the light. All right, let's pause for just one second because I need to tell you a story that I told on that Plano documentary. When James and I first came down here, it was the very first time that we'd ever been down. We were in another tunnel that turned just like this. And last time we turned, and right when we turned, we started hearing these voices like way down the tunnel. Super duper creepy to the point where they became so close but so distant at the same time that James and I freaked out and we just started running at the same time. I don't know what that was. And I'm really hoping I rented anything like that today because that would not be good, especially since I'm alone.

[Music]

Oh my god, what is this? Oh my god, another small little room with like three weird square cutouts for no reason. All right, I'm curious. Whoa, I keep seeing that duck everywhere. There's a small tunnel. You wouldn't want to go in there. There's a bigger tunnel. I'm guessing that's where that other tunnel does, but that wasn't the same one that I had been on before. Here's some chains down that way, so we're not going down that way. And this is a big ass tunnel, but it looks super wet. All right, I don't know. What was that?

[Music]

What was that? Uh.

[Music]

[Music]

I'm just kidding. Wouldn't that be a really stupid way to do this video if it was like a found footage film? Okay, but seriously, when I was just now playing around, I stepped in this and.

[Music]

That's about a foot and a half deep. I'm all the way wet up to almost my crotch. So we are not going to go down that way. Although I really want to get some rain boots and I will continue this adventure another day with a part two to this video, probably at some point way off in the future, maybe for next Halloween, I don't know. But right now, I'm gonna start heading back and maybe kind of look down one of the other tunnels we didn't go down and see if there's anything new on them. Super cool to have found this though. This is super weird. Oh, look, this says four. And back there said five. I wonder what those mean. I wonder if that's stupid people playing around for some reason, or if that's like city codes or something. I don't know. I will say I've seen about 35 roaches so far down here. And they are all bigger than anything I've ever seen. So if you don't like roaches, again, don't come down here.

[Music]

[Applause]

Okay, now I've seen like a hundred roaches because this tunnel is filled with them. So my camera is like bugging out. I stopped it a while ago and it's still doing this like where it's all choppy. Like look at this, it's like super messed up. Pretty creepy. It's not. I guess I'm turning on my phone. Okay, so my camera won't turn off at all anymore. That's cool. I hope the files aren't corrupted. This is what we saw earlier. What is this? It's like the pipe came out and then. Dang, I bet this water was so high that it caught this box while it was flowing down the pipe. That's crazy.

[Music]

All right guys, we are back out at the main culvert where we came in. It is super dark outside. So I'm just walking and hoping that the end is somewhere down here. We're going to get to it in a second. I'll give you an update once I'm out.

[Laughter]

Ah, we're finally out. Finally back to civilization. All right guys, that concludes today's episode. Happy Halloween. I hope this was significantly and sufficiently spooky as hell. I hope you guys liked it. I've been planning this for a whole year to come down here and explore. And it did not disappoint as far as how scary it was to go down there all alone, not knowing what is gonna happen. I wasn't really that afraid until I was on my way back out of the tunnel. And then I got that feeling that something was following me. Now, I'm sure it was just all in my head, but it felt really creepy when you're down there all alone. Thank you guys so much for watching. If you enjoyed this video and you enjoy my other videos, please consider hitting that subscribe button. That would be, well, you know, super swell. Also, please hit that like button if you liked this video because that it would be super cool because that helps me out. It's not coping. Ah, that would help me out in the old algorithm if you would just hit that like button. That'd be pretty sweet. If you feel so inclined and you've, you know, been in a tunnel before with your friends, let me know where your favorite tunnel is or if you've explored this one, let me know down in the comments. I will see you guys next time. As I say every single time, live well, skate better. I'm Eric Jay Coons. And I will see you guys later. Peace out.
