Everywhere you find a star, look out for the scar. There is always a scar that BS a star. Every man presses into it. Every man presses into it. You don't W into an encounter, you press into it.
I was told last night, four of our Covenant University students were in Abuja in a special competition comprising 30 universities. A special program that made them to, you know, act as ambassadors and Covenant University merged. Talk amen, and we'll be going to United Nations. Students, you press. You ask them how we press them. Ask them how we press them. Behave to be comported, to be normal, dignified human beings. You ask them what hours were expended in ensuring that they emerge unique in their lifestyle, in their language, in their reasoning. It's not you wake up in the morning and just wish that it cross me. I packed off my house in town and moved on campus. For them, you come to church twice a week. I don't have to move here because of you. I moved there because of them. And together with the very dedicated faculty and staff, we began to process the raw materials towards our desired end product. So where would they be and not be recognized? No star emerges without a scar.
Apart from the fasting, I'm praying from 1981 to 1983. I was virtually in a fast all through the year. '85, ladies and gentlemen, wake up. If for 4 days you are do like a chicken, you don't have a problem. You don't need a place to sleep, you don't need a place to stand in His presence. That's all you need. And every man presses. The 3rd day of waiting on the Lord got me baptized into supernatural prosperity over 25 years ago, and I'm still working in it. Every genuine encounter guarantees a permanent change of story. Somebody at Shilo 2007 will encounter a permanent change of story.
Our church was not moving as expected. Seminars upon seminars, and things were not happening. And I said to myself humorously, if this church keeps growing at this rate, when I will be 100 years old, this church will be only 1,000 people. I projected mathematically what it will be at the rate it was going at 100 years. If this rate is maintained, we will be 1,000 people. And I don't like that. If you don't like it, then do something about it. So I asked my three staff and I say, "Hey folks, we can't watch this thing continue. I'm leading you in a three-day of fasting and prayer to find out the way forward." On the third day, the heavens opened, and a word came from the Lord. 1984, and that word is still working now. You know say, "Why labor ye for the meat that perishes?" He said, "Labor for that meat that proceeds from the Lord, which genders everlasting life." That is encounter with the word of God. You press into. You are too comfortable for your desire to be delivered. You are too comfortable. You are too relaxed. When I see people too relaxed, I know they are not going far. You are too. Most people are too relaxed and know God will do it. Let's watch. Whatever He tells you to do, do it. Then you have committed Him to do His part. Say, "Oh Lord, Ally will I seek thee. My soul tasted for thee, and my flesh longed for thee in a dry and thirsty land where no water is, to see thy power and thy glory." Psalm 63:1-3. You don't walk into His power and His glory, you press into it. My soul tasted for thee, and my flesh longed for thee in a dry and thirsty land to see thy power and thy glory. As I've seen in the Tabernacle, it's time to press into your portion that is packaged, ready at Shilo 2007. It's ready, awaiting delivery, but you have to press to take delivery. That paralytic man, said his friends brought him. They said, "There is no way." He said, "There is a way. Go through the roof." "Go through where?" "I mustn't die like this. Take me through the roof." They say, "What if you fall?" "Let me fall in His presence. Take me through the roof." He pressed his way into a new life. And Jesus said, "Take your bed. You are true." I will always respond to those who press. God is always responding to those who press. If you are not pressing, you are not making progress. It is a press that results into progress. Somebody's changing level supernaturally at Shilo 2007. If that is you, let me hear your loudest amen.
Many years ago, I read a passage of scriptures, Ezekiel 37 and verse 1 to 14. And I saw the dramatic story of Ezekiel in the valley of dry bones, and I love it. He said, "And as I beheld, there was a noise and a rattling." It wasn't struggling. He was only operating as commanded, and things began to happen. So I said, "Let me go find out about Ezekiel." And I went to the mountain to pray. As I got to that mountain, listen to this. The first thing that welcomed me on that mountain, and it's a no man's land, had never been there before. A big serpent dropped from a tree in front of me, like saying, "What are you doing here?" And I said with a smile, "This must be a garden of the Lord, because the serpent appeared in the garden when Adam and Eve were there." Now listen. There was no shelter on that mountain. There was no light of any kind, except the touch light in my hand. And here was a serpent. The day, what will happen in the night? But what I was out for was more important than what was happening around me. Show me a man on a mission, he can never be trapped by circumstances around him. And then the sky turned blue and pregnant with rain. And rain said, "You, you came here, I will show you." Now, I didn't even pray against the rain. I was praying for what I came for. And it began to rain cat and dog. I was drenched, soaked, and dripping with water all over me. The only treasure I had was my Bible, which I covered with my body. I had no umbrella on that mountain. The rain came and dealt with me, but I was pressing for my goal. Then the rain stopped, and cold replaced it. The rain handed over the button to cold. And thank you Jesus, I was pressing with my Bible. I read with my touch light. I read through the Book of Ezekiel in 3 days. The following day, because there was no change of clothes, the clothes dried on my body as the sun arose. And I thank God for the warmth of the sun and began to press and press. On the third day, hear what happened. Behold, I have touched your tongue with a coal of fire, and from henceforth, as you say it, you see it. I mean that you can't buy with money. As you say it, you see every good thing. I've been saying on your life, uh, you must see it this time. I'm not making proclamations to impress you. I carry a prophetic mandate to bless you. And it's not without a price. It's not without a price. The serpent couldn't scare me. The rain could not scare me until I pressed to that point. I was looking for the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presses, presses, presses. Whatever you don't press to attain, never lasts in your hand. Every man presses, presses, presses. That's why you don't see any breaker pastor carry any glory. You don't see to shine. No. Every man presses, presses. I saw this church grew from three people to four, from four to six, six to ten. I saw it at the beginning. If you give birth to a full-grown child, that's me. No. Every man presses into it. Ask all our faithful pastors who had served here in Lagos at one time or another. What level of spiritual presence came into Canaan land? Present in the midnight, in the dead of the night. How much bottles of the anointing oil this ground has drunk, and the uncountable liters of the blood of sprinkling that has gone on this land when it was thick forest, before the construction began, while the construction was on, and when it was completed. How to move on heavens to dislodge the forces of wickedness and bringing the people. Every man presses into it. If you have been waiting for it, that's why you have been missing it. It's time to press. It's time to press. You don't wait to become a first-class student, you press to become one. You don't wait that, "I know someday God will do it, I become a star basketballer." Huh? You become basketball. Your every man presses into it. Every man presses into it. Every man presses into it. That's what Shilo 2007 demands. It demands your press into your portion as packaged, ready by God of Shilo. In those five days, one of my respected teachers of church growth, Y of South Korea, he fainted three times in the course of pursuing the assignment God has given him. You can't build the largest church in the world without fainting once. It crashed. First step, they carry him. Prayer too hard, fasting too tough. That's how to build anything great. I know there's an encounter awaiting you at Shilo. All you need is grace to press into it and receive that grace. Now, in the name of Jesus, receive that grace now, in the name of Jesus. And every man, no exceptions, no matter how much favor you have with God, every man presses into it. And every man, every preachers and members, every man. Many pastors, founders of churches, have problems. They think his members who should praise it. It's time to give an offering. Give your offering now. Good luck. You will live at their mercy tomorrow. If you are not pressing into your own prosperity, you will hang on their own prosperity. You become morning. Every man presses. This that opportunity for you to press. Jesus came in here for 30 years, I guess. Not that he was waiting, but he went out by the spirit. The spirit of God led him to a pressing mountain, and he was there for 40 days. How many days? 40 days. There was no roof there. There was no power. You don't need to have a shower for 5 days. It won't kill you. Don't need it. If you have a to have a to clean your face and ready to go. Who is looking at you? Jesus was there for 40 days, and the Bible said, "What he returned in the power of the spirit into Galilee." And his fame spread all abroad. 40 days opened up his mission. This 5 days will open up the next phase, the next chapter of your life. Five days only. Jesus got through it. 40 days and 40 nights, no food. Now they announce to you, there are 20 eating places. Too much. No food. And he came out, child charged to take charge. In this 5 days, you'll be supercharged, and you will begin to take charge. Supernaturally charged. He was charged and began to take charge. 40 days, no food. Some theologians said he drank water. I didn't see that in my Bible. They say afterward, he was hungry. When you fast, what do you say? You are, you say you are thirsty, you are hungry. Everybody in our church fast. I think I can guess right. We do that at least every week. If you are doing it, and after the day, do you say I'm no hungry? You are hungry. But you see, people like to look for shortcuts. They say, "If it were, he would have said he was thirsty. He was drinking water." Where? Who carried the water? You know, Jesus is now packing his bag. He now carry a drum of water along. They say, "Where are you going?" "Say, I'm going to fast." That's faster. 40 days are going to script without food. And I know without water. And the King came back, and 3 years, the entire world came under the siege of his anointing. After this Shilo encounter, the entire world will come under the siege of the grace of God in your life. You believe that? Let me hear your loudest amen. That's in Luke chapter 4 and verse 1 to 4. And then he came on in verse 18. "The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, for He has anointed me." That anointing didn't come by just carrying a bottle of oil. It came by pressing his way into his portion with God. Amen. He came by pressing his way into his portion with God. And every man presses into it. In 2 Kings 2:1-15, we saw the story of Elijah with Elijah. And Elijah said to him, "Tarry here, I'm going to Jericho." He said, "As the Lord liveth, I go with you." And then the sons of the prophets that came to watch. There are people who came to watch. You remember the testimony of a young boy? He said, "I came the previous Shilo, I was just watching. I saw them pray. I was watching. Ah, these people can pray." He said, "And I return with my problem." So the following, when I came, I said, "No, I will not watch. I must get my own." So it began to pray, and the Lord turned the story at that Shilo. This Shilo is your Shilo. You believe that? Let me hear your loudest amen. This Shilo is your own Shilo. This Shilo is your own Shilo. And then the mockers came and began to mock Elijah. "Ooh, don't you know the Lord will take your master from you today?" He said, "I know it. Hold your peace. I know it. Hold your peace." He wasn't going to be trapped by anybody's mockery. He was present. "Oh, you went to Shilo the other time, what did you come back with?" "Hold your peace. Watch me now. Watch what happens now. Watch what happens now." I know this is the most pregnant Shilo since inception. This is the ninth Shilo, which symbolizes the month of delivery. Whatever is still hanging to be delivered shall be delivered for you this time. And every man presses into it. And every man. So Elisha kept pressing and pressing until the last point. "What do you want me to do for you?" He said, "I want double portion of your spirit." He said, "If you see me when I'm called, how would I see you?" "That's why I'm here. No anywhere you go, we go together." And I said, when talking, his eyes were on him. He wasn't looking at anything around. The casket of fire came. The chariot of fire came and took off Elijah. My father, he did not only see him, he held him. It took the chariot of heaven to separate him from Elijah. They would have gone together in the basket. And the mantle fell from Elijah. And the same mockers, when they saw him, the Lord divided the Red Sea by his hand. I mean, the Jordan by his hand. They came back and bowed down unto him. They said, "The spirit of Elijah doth rest on Elisha." That shall be your experience at Shilo. The more than conqueror's anointing that's on this commission will be visible on your life as you depart. You believe that? Let me hear your loudest amen. This always happens, most of the time at the end. At what? At the end. It was after 40 days that Jesus had his encounter. It was at the last moment Elijah was going that Elisha had this encounter. It was the third day of my waiting on God to show me the way out of poverty that I had my encounter. It was the third day asking the Lord the way forward in our church growth endeavor that I had my encounter. So it's not enough to just come the first night, say, "I thank God. God knows I don't have time now." Good. You still come next year to begin from where you stopped. That won't be you in Jesus' name. I have been advising all businessmen and everybody, "Shut down your shop. What you could not do in the last 365 years, 360 days, 5 days can't kill it. Shut it down and settle with God and said, 'Lord, I know there is more for me than where I am. Show me the way to the next place that for me.'" And you have it. Thank you Jesus. Every man presses into it. Every man presses into it. The grace and the energy to press until the end where your own delivery is released, receive it now in the name of Jesus. He said, "Write the vision, make it plain on the tables that he may run that for the vision for an appointed time, but at the end, he shall speak." He said, "Do it. Wait for it. It shall surely come to pass. It shall not tarry at the end." So the journey begins on Tuesday and carries through until Saturday morning. He said, "At the end, it shall speak." He said, "Though it looks like it's not coming, hang on. It shall surely come to pass. It shall not tarry. Hang on. It's coming. It must come. Hang on. Your miracle children must come. Hang on. Your miracle husband and wife must come. Hang on. Your miracle open doors must come. Come. Hang on. Your supernatural breakthroughs must come. Hang on. Hang on. Hang on." And every man presses into it. After the rain baited me, the serpent harassed me, the cold dealt with me, it still didn't deliver what I came for until the third day. It was on the third day. I should have run back the second day because of the cold, but I was there. And when I finish, I finish, finish. I had finished reading, had finished searching, I finished praying, and just to say, "Father, thank you for the grace of giving me on this mountain." Said, "My son, behold, I have touched your tongue with a coal of fire, and from henceforth, as you say, you see it." It's not a grammatical formation, it's an encounter that delivered it. That encounter that delivered it. I know there will be strange deliveries for you at Shilo 2007. Therefore, where to sleep is not the issue. Your car is too comfortable. So why not the front can be the sitting room, and the sitting room and the back the bedroom? You, your wife, and your children, each one manages in his own bed space in the car. You're okay. 1984, we were going out for a marriage. I was going to speak at that marriage, and then I was feeling sleepy, and I was going. I was the one driving. I said, "No." So I swapped up by the roadside, and they said, "What's happening, sir?" I said, "We are sleeping here." Amen. Better to sleep in the car than to sleep in the Lord. Amen. Praise the Lord. It is foolishness driving when you are sleeping. So I pulled by the road in Benue, coming from Kaduna down to Kwara. And three of my young men were there in the car. We pulled by this roadside, and I said, "We sleeping here." Thank you Jesus. Amen. Everybody good night. And so we slept. I mean, sweet sleep, man, sweet sleep. We were four in a Volkswagen beetle car. Amen. Your car is too big for what you are trying to do. We slept and woke up at 5:30 and did our devotion in the car. And I said, "If you were going and we crash on the road, they will not tell the people are getting married. So our death will not spoil their marriage. If our death will spoil their marriage, let them carry on with their marriage." We woke up hard at devotion and we started going. Praise God. I said, "If somebody else, somebody else must be there who can do the preaching, I don't have to kill myself because of somebody's preaching." Don't. We slept in the car, had a great time. God visited us in the car. So you are too fortunate. The number of. In fact, you should give more people space in your car to sleep with you. Amen. You ask somebody going about, "You don't have where to sleep?" "We see how one more space here." Then he sleeps. Hallelujah. How many are ready for an encounter here? Come on, let me hear your loudest amen. If you're there. Thank you Jesus. The Holy Spirit said to me this morning, He said, "Tell my people, their portion is inaccessible without their present. It is your present that qualifies you for the delivery of your portion. If you are not ready to press, you are you are not ready to possess. Only only those who press ever possess their portion. If you are not ready to press, you are not ready to possess. Only those who press qualify for their portion." Pray for your own encounter at Shilo 2007, and you'll be celebrating in the remaining days of your life. It's only those who pray that qualify for their possessions. Only those who praise qualify for their possession. Thank you Jesus. How many are ready to pray here? Amen. Hallelujah. Give it all you've got, and you connect with all that is in stock. Give it all you've got, and you will connect with all that is in stock at Shilo 2007. Give it all you've got. He said, "You shall seek for me and find me, when you shall search for me with all of your heart." Jeremiah 29:13. He takes the the whole of you to assess all that is in stock. You shall seek for me and find me where you shall search for me with all of your heart. So it takes all of you seeking after God to connect with all that God has in stock for you. Said, "I know the plans that I have for you, says God. Plans of good and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope." And for that to happen, you shall seek me and find me when you shall search for me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:1 and verse 13. You shall seek for me and find me when you shall search for me with all of your heart. When I found that scripture in 1977, 30 years ago, I wrote it on a card to all of my known friends. Jeremiah 29:1. "I know the plans I have for you, the plans of good and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope." I wrote that with my hand to all my friends on a card. God has a plan for you. It's a plan of welfare, not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. You have a future in God if you will seek after Him with all of your heart. This is that Shilo that will open you up to the next phase of your life. You believe that? Let me hear your loudest amen. I'm not giving up. I'm not done. I'm not giving up. I'm not done. My God will do it again, just like before. I'm not giving up. I'm not. And he that endures to the end, what happens? The same shall be saved. He that endures to the end, the same shall be saved. The grace to stand where you should stand, doing what you should be doing all through this event, receive it now in the name of Jesus. Receive it now in the name of Jesus.
And this morning, we having this feet washing Ministry according to scriptures in John chapter 13, verse 4. Jesus knowing that all things has been delivered unto Him by His Father, that He came from God and was going back to God. He took a towel, gathered Himself, and poured water into the basin, and began to wash the disciples' feet. When He came to Peter, Peter said, "No, you never wash my feet." And Jesus said, "If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me. If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me." So it was not an illustration, it was a ministration. He go, He was teaching humility. No. How does that relate with that statement? That was not an illustration, that was a ministration of a mystery. "If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me." That means you have some part with me that will be delivered to you through this mystery of it worship. And now you are moving into Shilo, where your pending inheritance is waiting for release. As your feet is washed today, whatever portion of redemption that is yet to manifest in your life is released in the name of Jesus. Say with me, "Thank God for Peter." Thank God for Peter. That is what spoils the theologians' theology. If not for Peter, they say was illustrating humility. That is too tough for the wisdom and the power of God to do. You can teach humility without tying to well and bending down and washing feet. That is no, no, no, no, no. I once taught in primary school. I won't do that. I won't do that. Jesus is too wise to be illustrating. And then he wash one feet, wash the second one, and wash the third one. Illustration. How many are teachers here? Do you do that in your class? You carry towel and you carry water and then you start washing. They say, "What's happening?" "Say, I'm humble." It was a ministration. This morning, receive this ministry in the name of Jesus. It took a towel and began to wash the disciples' feet. Whose feet was He washing? It was not the multitude. It was the disciples. If you are here in this service this morning, very quick, and you are not born again, don't just come for feet washing as if you didn't have your bath this morning. Come for an impartation, and that begins with your salvation. So if you are not saved, you are not qualified for feet washing. Feet washing is for the saved and for the imparting of their inheritance to them. So wherever you are, you want to be born again this morning, you want to become a disciple of Jesus Christ, you want your salvation satisfied consciously, you want to by yourself make your choice for Jesus. Wherever you are, please stand to your feet, and then we'll be praying with you. Everyone that wants to give his or her life to Jesus this morning, please stand on your feet wherever you are. And then you, what do you expect of the Lord in the course of this feet washing service? What impartation are you looking out for? To receive your portion of healing is available. Your portion of deliverance from all operation of the devil is available. For whoever the Son of God shall set free shall be free indeed. Lift up your two hands now and begin to speak to the Lord what you desire of Him from the mystery of this feet washing service.
In Jesus precious name, Lord God of heaven, give everyone in this service today an unforgettable Shilo encounter through the mystery of this feet washing in the name of Jesus. Let sickness and disease be washed off every life in the name of Jesus. Let freeness and corruption be washed off every life in the name of Jesus. Let every spell and enchantment be washed off every destiny in the name of Jesus. Let every redemptive portion of your people be delivered supernaturally this morning in Jesus precious name. Jesus, do it for me. Now, whatever must be drowned in the Red Sea in your life must be drowned today. As the crowd res, he told them, "This great army you see today, that you see them no more again forever." Whatever is not your portion in Christ, after your feet is washed today, you see them no more again forever. Come and prophesy your total triumph this morning. Prophesy and encounter over your life this morning. You are dropping that sickness. You are dropping that disease. Whatever is not your portion in Christ must not go home with you this morning in Jesus precious name. In the name of Jesus Christ. In the name of Jesus Christ. Lord God of heaven, visit everyone today in a way they have never known. You instructed Naaman to dip himself in Jordan, and he came out of it, and his dignity restored. After this feet washing, Lord, restore the redemptive dignities of your people. Whatever is making men to ask them, "Where is their God?" Let it be washed off today in the name of Jesus. Lord, deliver the healing that your people desire today. Let the deliverance of everyone come their way. Destroy every work of the devil in every life in the name of Jesus. Thank you heavenly Father. In Jesus precious name. I'd like you to go on as you are directed. Get back to your seat, giving glory to God, and we will close together. Amen. Jesus is Lord. Get seated. The ushers direct you.
