Of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Let us begin with a prayer. Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Greetings again in God's most holy will to the program learning to live in God's divine will and in the second to last Saturday of uh November in this month for the departed souls in this jubilee year of hope. I wish to address the power of unity.
Why November? Well, as many of you know, Pope Leo I 14th will be meeting with the patriarchs of the Eastern churches, including the ecumenical patriarch Bartholomew ina this month at the end of this month. And um it's important that we pray for the successful meeting because there's strength in numbers. The devil's dictum is divide and conquer. God is just the opposite. Unite and conquer. So, it's important for all of us to acknowledge first and foremost that we are all members of the mystical body of Christ. In as much as we are all baptized, whether we're Catholic, Orthodox, or Protestant, these baptisms make us members of the one body of Christ, guided by the one spirit who unites us all together.
Pope Leo I 14th and the ecumenical patriarch will be joining together to discuss the possibility among other things of one common date of Easter which was established in 325 at Nika during the council of Nika where the date of Easter was set and then there was as we all you know the split in 1054 between the east and west and then the creation of a new Julian a new Gregorian calendar previous to which there was just one Julian calendar therefore one date of Easter.
So I encourage all of you to join with me in prayer. I started a novena two days ago in honor of this ecumenical gathering in Na with the pope and patriarchs that will span from November 27th to the 30th of this month. And this novena is for the hope of the leaders of the east and western churches reuniting hopefully starting with the unification of the dates of Easter which is a beautiful symbol of the beginning of reunification of east and west.
I truly believe that if we unite as Christians and emphasize what we have in common without eviscerating the truth but respecting each other's religion because remember we are many of us in our generation if not all in fact it is all are the offspring of the parents who gave us our faith they chose our faith we didn't choose it as children and we are blessed to all be Christians. So if someone professes an Orthodox faith, a Catholic faith and Protestant faith, it's by and large the fruit of the child's obedience to the parent which is a commandment, obey your parents and therefore they obey the religion of their parents. So we should not incriminate others because oh they're not Catholic, they're not Orthodox, they're not Protestant. We should learn from our Lord and from St. Paul talked about breaking down the walls of division of Christ coming not for the righteous but for sinners and be the first to take the step towards reconciliation after so many centuries of division.
If we do this, have this attitude, I believe that we Christians will exert a greater force in these end times than the children of darkness. The reason why Satan is so success successful in this world and in pushing back the church's light which is produced by the sacraments especially and by the gifts and graces of God is because we Christians are all divided. It's time for us to wake up and say, "Wait a minute. Okay, I love my faith, but I'm not going to ostracize myself from other Christians because I'm clinging to my particular religion only for my own sake. I have to think of the sake of others and for the sake of God.
Jesus suffers because of our division as Christians. You know that. Do you think it's a coincidence that mystics endure the passion especially during Lent, not during Easter? Why is that? Because the church is the mystical body of Christ who is its head. And when the members suffer, the head suffers. So imagine the pain we are putting Christ through by rejoicing during Easter and suffering during Lent at the same time. When the Catholics are rejoicing in Easter, the Orthodox are still suffering in Lent. Christ experiences this and we have to be mindful of it. If we are truly repairers of the breach, seeking to offer our Lord reparation in these end times.
And this brings me to the writings of the servant of God, Louisa Picareta, to whom Jesus revealed the power of unity and the unifying virtue and the communicating virtue of his divine will. Louisa in her writings many times maintains that in so far as the gift of living in God's divine will is unmmerited is a pure large s to mankind condine grace as the recent DDF doctrinal note identified which is a grace purely from and not the result of human achievement. Before its actualization in human nature, the baptized, all the baptized could not by their own effort or virtue merit the gift. Okay? Want to make that clear. Your Catholic faith, Orthodox faith, Protestant faith did not merit the gift of living in the divine will.
Within Louisa's writings the divine light of God's divine will remember light is part of God's essence we say in the nine creed when we speak of Jesus light from light true God from true God so the divine light of God's divine will absorbs the little light of the finite actions and virtues of our souls that desire his gift whereby our souls may embrace and unify all things in him with his own pure light. God aids the soul by imparting to it what's known in the writings of Louisa as the communicating and unifying virtue. What do they do? They bind all creation together in God, in whom all things discover the divine order and harmony God intended from the beginning.
This is found, for example, in volume 26. Here Jesus tells Louisa on July 30th, 1929, "My daughter, what a difference there is between those who operate by the virtues in a saintly way, but in the human order, and those who operate by the virtues in the divine order of my divine will." As the former practice their virtues, their virtues remain separated from each other such that the diversity of their act appears. One virtuous act appears of patience, another of obedience, yet another of charity. each of them distinct but incapable of fusing together to form one single act that would otherwise lend itself to the divine will and embrace eternity and infinity. As for the latter, by operating in my divine will, these souls acquire its light that has the communicating and unifying virtue, which makes them capable of accomplishing all of their virtues within the source of its light. and of fusing their virtues together to form one single act with innumerable effects that embrace the creator himself with the infinity of his light.
Our unifying strength, meaning the Trinity's unifying strength, possesses the communicating virtue in such a way that all creatures who so desire may partake of the blessings these souls place at everyone's disposal. Oh, if everyone knew the great secret of operating in my divine will, they would compete so as not to let any act that proceeds from within us within its most pure light escape them. When the soul therefore communicates the light of God's grace to creation by acting in his will and in acting in his will is receiving his light as uncreated light. When the soul communicates the light of God's grace to creation by acting and unites all things in him, it gives him the glory and love that the lost souls in hell should have given him and it accomplishes what Jesus humanity did and it becomes his echo. This is found in volume 36 on August 28th, 1938.
So unity is really in my opinion the most important thing in these end times. Unity among Christians, unity in the divine will and therefore the avoidance of focusing on what separates us. No, there are people in the church today and there's and they were in the church at the time of Christ that are focused only on their own spiritual good. They're not focused on the spiritual good of others. And sometimes that can be harmful because what they do not consider is the greater good that does not sacrifice the individual good.
And what makes it difficult for Christians to unite? I I believe if there's one overriding factor, it's disobedience to those whom Christ has placed in authority to guide his church. You have in the Catholic circles, you know, among bloggers, YouTubers, those who some of whom even promote Louisa, a disobedience toward church authority. Louisa was never like this. St. Hannibal was never like this. Jesus and Mary were never like this. What did Jesus say in Matthew 2:3 to the apostles? Because the Pharisees and scribes occupy the seat of Moses. Obey them in everything they tell you. But do not follow their example because they do not practice what they preach. But obey them in everything they tell you. Now, these are the same scribes and Pharisees he criticized because as God, he could read their intentions, their souls. We can't. And he wants us to obey his teaching to follow suit.
Now, what is the seat of Moses? It was never found. It's similar to what we call the catheter of the pope. The cathedral of the pope is a seat. It's really a physical seat that's at the back of St. John Lateran Church if you go and visit it that represents papal authority universal and supreme jurisdiction and teaching authority that's limited to and this comes right out of the sec first Vatican council doctrine statements doctrinal statements to church morals faith church governance and discipline that's it this is the limitation of the pope's petrine universal and supreme authority so if the pope speaks about political or scientific things. This is beyond the purview of his authority. But it may concern morals and there he can talk about it. But because the church is not a scientific competent organ, it relies upon scientists and the church sometimes gets it wrong. Not intentionally.
I'll give you an example. Pope Pas the 11th. Now he was after Benedict the 15th entrust him with the Fatima message and neither of the two popes consecrated the s Russia as the blessed mother wasn't done until 19 was it 84 by pope John Paul II pope St. John Paul II and it was accepted by Mary through Lucia who wrote with her own hand and signed it at the behest of fatherh. So um here we have a pope pest the 11th who is not only entrusted with the fatima message but also with the in investigation pertaining to pad peio. Now there was a medical doctor in Rome who worked close to the Vatican. He was like the leading scientist for the Vatican at the time of Padre Peio. And Padre Peio was now put under silence for 10 years. He was not permitted to show his stigmata to anyone. He was not allowed to hear confessions, not allowed to celebrate mass publicly for 10 years. Sort of like church maximum security, you know. wasn't even allowed to correspond with his spiritual children by way of pen by way of mail was really really struck. Point is this doctor Agugustino Jali after which a hospital is named in Rome on a street called Pinata Saketi which is not too far over my religious house. He goes down to Sanjivan Rondo and asks Padipio to examine his stigmata and Padreio says where's your letter of permission from the Vatican? He said I work for the Vatican. I don't need a letter. Padio sent him back said, "I'm not showing you my wounds. Come back with a letter." So he went back to Rome and complained that Padio's, you know, he's dishonest because he's not he's hiding his wounds. Long story short, after 10 years of Padre Peio's stricture of not being able to exercise his faculties as a normal priest, Pope Pius the 11th made a public statement which is verbatim. Of course, I'm doing it in English, the English translation. I was not badly disposed toward Pio. I was badly informed. So popes can be badly informed pertaining to science, even vaccines, even issues of immigration, issues of political affiliation, whatever the case may be because their focus, the church's focus led by the Roman pontiff defined by the second Vatican council is on church morals, faith, church governance and discipline. Okay, having said that, I think one of the leading reasons for the disunityity among Christians is lack of obedience to the authorities Christ has put in his church.
Okay, that's a little bell from my oven. I'm making eggplant lasagna and it's been in the oven for a half hour now and I just just a reminder for me to go grab it, but it it's on a timer so it'll shut off on its own. I'm making it for the three priests of us here because we don't have a cook at the present time. So even if the church authorities sometimes get things wrong, that doesn't give us a license to say don't obey them anymore. Do whatever you want. No, you have to respectfully disagree or agree. You can agree. Yes. And if you don't conscientiously agree with something that does not pertain to the church's morals, faith, governance, discipline, but pertains to something else, then you can respectfully disagree. In fact, there's a document put out by Cardinal Ratzinger, in fact by the congregation for the doctrine of faith before it became acastri signed by Ratzinger entitled Donum Veritatis in which article 30 states that the theologian exercises the magisterium with the bishops is part of it and it's the theologian's duty to explain and explicate church documents. If there's confusion, if there's vagaries, which there is in the last doctrinal note put out entitled materialis, which I explained in my response to a question on whether or not we can call Mary redemptrics and if we can't then why do many popes in the past um assert as much and why are there publications still being circulated with this title code redemptrics as well as works of saints and even approved prophetic literature by Jesus and Mary calling America redemptrics. So I answer that question theologically which is my duty. I don't dismiss the authority of the disccastry of the doctrine of faith but I make a clarification you see by indicating that it doesn't condemn the title but it says it's inappropriate to use it in the strict but not subordinate sense. Okay back to my point. If you disagree with something that comes from the magisterium, even if it's a low-level teaching of magisterial issuance, like a doctrinal note, that's not a papal statement. So this mop fidelis is not a papal teaching. It's a doctrinal note and it needs clarification. Then I step up, which is my duty. It's not my option. is my duty and I speak to the public and I appeal to the magisterium saying look a little bit more attention should be given to the subordinate sense and not so much emp emphasis to the strict because it almost seems to diminish devotion to Mary at this point of course I'm not saying they're doing this intentionally I've heard people say oh they're doing this on purpose to cater to the protestants and no they're I don't believe that at all my understanding why they gave emphasis to the strict sense that Christ This is the soul redeemer. And I must say parenthetically before I give you my personal opinion, it's not factual, it's just my opinion, is no one no Catholic I've ever met in my life believes Mary's a god. So why so much emphasis on separating her from God? As if there's a risk that Catholics might consider her redeemer. No, I don't know. I don't know anyone in my 37 years of religious life among Catholics that ever considered Mary on the same level of Christ. So why so much attention to this? I don't think it has to do with them as some people have said appealing to the Protestants. No, I my opinion I could be completely wrong. I think it's a lack of marry and devotion among people within the church whether it's clergy or leoty and there is not a whole lot of devotion among some and that I believe is one of the reasons you see but anyway getting back to a disagreement with the church authority whether you're Catholic Orthodox Protestant you must always hold in respect in reverence even if you don't agree with what they say Their authority which they did not create, it came directly from God. Even the authority of Judas a Scariot came from God. Sort of like you love the sinner but hate the sin. You may Matthew 22:3 not follow their example, but you must obey them in everything they teach, which is what Christ told the apostles to do. And these were Pharisees and scribes. This is even before the sacrament of holy orders was instituted. Imagine how much more we're obliged since these holy sacraments, holy orders of the sacrament of holy orders was instituted.
But unity, I believe, is that which is causing the most disunityity among Catholics. You have infighting among Catholics just as you have in fighting among partisan members of political parties. Republicans are fighting fighting for Republicans. Democrats are fighting Democrats. The Catholics are fighting Catholics. You know, we have to stop this. And I think the first way to stop is by acknowledging the chain of command Christ put in play when he created his, not your church. Let us never lose sight of that. This is not your church. It's his church. He makes the rules. You don't. You may not like them, but don't condemn those whom he permitted either through his permissive or b or deliberate will to exercise authority in the church. Just read the treatise of God the father to St. Katherine of Sienna where he tells her when you condemn my ministers, you condemn me. Even if it's on a even if they don't live a virtuous life, even if you know that they're living immortal sin, you must still respect them. That's you want to know how much Christ respects respects respects those to whom he has entrusted the sacred mysteries that even if they are in mortal sin, the sacraments remain valid. Think of that for a moment. Why on earth would God permit in his church that priests consecrating and absolving in the state of mortal sin would affect the consecration and the absolution? Shouldn't he have like taken it away once they're not in the state of grace anymore? He doesn't. He doesn't because the respect never leaves the priest. even if he's not in the state of grace. God never loses that respect for the priest. So why would the lay people do that? Think of that for a moment.
Anyway, I think it's not just with respect to priests. Now, I know there's a chain of command, but it also works the other way. There's a thing called census fidelium and that the second Vatican council accentuated meaning the lay people are the are an instrument too through which the holy spirit speaks. Not always, you know, not every lay person will agree with each other. But among the ley there is a movement of the Holy Spirit that requires discernment and the hierarchy discerns that and acknowledges it. Just like Jesus told Louisa, he said the teachers of the divine will ultimately will be the priest. It doesn't exclude the leoty. The ley can teach, but those in the end that confirm the late teaching are the hierarchs. That's the chain of command Christ put in play. And Marott Medugoria repeatedly tells us, pray for your shepherds. You ever notice that? She's always emphasizing for you to pray for your shepherds. Why? Because Satan knows that when there's an army that he's doing battle against, there's a firing squad. Those on the front line, those are the hyrocks. They're defending the church and Satan's looking to take them out. So once he takes them out, it's easier to get to the leoty, to get to those um that they're protecting. And what is the what are the weapons that those in the firing line are using? Doctrine, the word of God, a two-edged sword. So it's you may call it a fortress in a way the church in as much as you have those trumpet bearers of God's divine truth.
This boy, this oven doesn't want to leave me alone. I have to disable this alarm. Sorry about that. Um, and it is their duty to preach the truth in love. As St. Paul says in his letter to the Ephesians, preach the truth in love. So the love is unity. The truth is the unchanging doctrine of Christ. All right.
So on that note, I want to share with you a few other passages um from Louisa's writings on this theme where he tells her to unify his will for example in volume 16 February the 8th 1924 when he talks to her about fusing yourself your entire being in my holy divine will where there is neither past, present or future but where everything is present. When you fuse yourself in God's divine will, what are you doing? You're uniting all time. Past, present, and future are converging in the eternal present.
So Louisa says in this volume as I was fusing myself in God's divine will I intended to place myself before all human generations before all human generations. Even before Adam and Eve were created, so that before they would sin, I might prepare ahead of them the act of reparation to the divine majesty. For in being the least, I am able to approach the divine majesty to plead with him and do my little acts in his will, to overshadow all men's acts with his divine will, and so bind the human will that had withdrawn itself to from the divine will, thus making them one. Now, while I was about to do this, I felt so acutely my own annihilation, misery, and extreme loneliness that I said to myself, instead of placing myself ahead of everyone in God's most holy will, I should rather place myself behind everyone, even behind the last man who must yet exist. Since I am the most abject and miserable of all, the last place is what best suits me. Now while I was acting in this way, my beloved Jesus came out from within me and taking my hand said, "My little daughter, in my will, the little ones must precede all others. even within my womb. The soul must plead, make reparation, and unify our will, not only with its own will, but with that of all other creatures. So, we must unify our will with the will of other creatures. And it must remain so close and united to us that it may receive all the reflections of the divinity in order to assimilate them within itself. It must have a thought to substitute for the thoughts of all. It must have a word, an act, a step, a loving desire to substitute for those of all and on behalf of all.
So here Louisa is unifying with her will the will of others in God. Who did this before Louisa who did this before Louisa? The blessed virgin Mary the co-redemptrics. Again we can use that title in the subordinate sense of the word. Okay. So here um I'm going to quote you from day 12, the blessed virgin, but I'll also quote to you from one of the volumes of Louisa's writings where Jesus talks to her about um how Mary um how Mary united all things just like Louisa before Louisa actually. So let me go to day 12 here. Uh the blessed virgin Mary in the kingdom of the divine will work and then take you to volume 17 May 1st 1925. In fact I think I'll go to May 17th first because this is where Jesus talks about how Mary united all other beings of all time within herself in order for God to come within her womb. He tells Louisa again from volume 17, May 1st, 1925. In addition to me, there is my heavenly mother who received the unique mission of being the mother of the son of God and the office of co-redemptrics of mankind. On account of the mission of her divine motherhood, she was enriched with so much grace that all other creatures combined both in heaven and on earth will never be able to match her. But this was not enough to draw down the word into her maternal womb. Think of that for a moment. Mary's divine motherhood, her office of motherhood, which was enriched with so much grace that she surpassed all the grace of all creatures of heaven and earth of all time. And not even this was enough for her to draw down Jesus into her womb. What was missing? He tells her it was necessary that she embrace all creatures by loving them, making reparation for them, and adoring the Supreme Majesty on their behalf. By this means she alone accomplished in herself everything that all human generation should offer to God. In this way, in her virginal heart, she had an inexhaustible current of love for God and for all souls. When the divinity found in this virgin its requal of love for all creatures, it felt enraptured and formed within her its conception, that is the incarnation of the word. So if Mary did not unite with her will all the wills of others to give God reparation on behalf of all, adoring the supreme majesty on behalf of all, loving them on behalf of all, loving God on behalf of all, then Christ would not have become incarnate in her womb. Why? because he had to find within her a kingdom already established of all the acts of all creatures of which she is the queen. Until she formed this kingdom, depositing all the acts of love of all creatures, of reparation for all creatures, of adulteration for all creatures, Christ would not have become incarnated in her womb. Even though she was the mother of God, predestined to be the mother. It was only when she had established this kingdom that she in fact and in time became theotocos the godbearer the mother of god and then he adds in the same volume as she conceived me she took on the office of co-redemptric so Mary's title co-redemptrics began at the moment of the incarnation as she conceived me she took on the office of co-red redemptrics and shared and embraced together with me all the pains, substitutions, reparations, maternal love on behalf of all. So even though she did this before Christ, now she's doing it with Christ. In the heart of my mother, there was a fiber of maternal love for each soul. This is why in truth and with justice, when I was on the cross, I declared her mother of all. She excelled together with me in love, in suffering, in everything. She never left my side. If the eternal one had not placed so much grace in her as to be able to receive from her alone the love of all, he would never have moved from heaven to come down to earth and redeem mankind. That is why to fulfill her mission as mother of the word, it was necessary and fitting that she embrace and surpass everything. And this unifying effort on the part of Mary to unite all acts of all souls in her will and give it to God. We find in volume sorry in day 12 on day 12 in the Virgin Mary of the kingdom of the divine will book where Mary reveals to Louisa. Child of my heart from the moment my life on earth began to develop the divine will extended its kingdom in all my acts. My prayers, words, steps, eating, sleeping, little tasks which I helped with my mother were animated by the divine will. And since I always carried you in my heart, I called you, my child, into all of my acts. I called your acts to be together with mine so that in your acts too even the most menial ones the kingdom of the divine will might be established. See, so here Mary is unifying within her acts, our acts. She's uniting them to hers. I called your acts to be together with mine. That's unity. so that in your acts too even the most menial the kingdom of the divine will might be established. Now the manner by which Mary is here calling all the actions of all humans within her own including ours through which the divine will extended its kingdom in our souls is described by our Lord in relation to the manner by which he did the same thing. He reveals this to Louisa in volume 11 on August 14th, 1912, where he states, "When I was on earth, did my hands not lower themselves to work the wood, hammer the nails, help my putitive father, Joseph? While I was doing this with my own hands and fingers, I created souls while calling others back to life. I divonized and sanctified all human activity, imparting divine merit to each human action. In the movements of my fingers, I called into sequence all the movements of your fingers and those of others, imparting to them the merit of my own life. by lowering myself to all these little and lowly actions that men do in their daily lives, such as eating, sleeping, drinking, working in all the actions that are indispensable to all humans. I formed a small divine little coin of incalculable value and made it flow throughout all human actions. So if my passion redeemed man, my hidden life provided each human action, even the most insignificant, with divine merit of infinite value. So just as Jesus divonized all human activity within his own humanity and imparted to us all the grace necessary that we need to be demonized. Mary did the same with him once he became incarnate with his womb within his her womb. So Mary says I called you my child into all of my acts. I called your acts to be together with mine, so that in your acts too, even the most menial ones, the kingdom of the divine will might be established. Now listen to how much I loved you. If I prayed, I called your prayers into mine so that both my prayers and yours might receive one singular value of a divine will. If I spoke with my words, I called into sequence your words. If I walked, I called into sequence your steps. If I did little human actions that are indispensable to all humans, such as taking water, sweeping, helping my mother prepare the wood to start the fire, and many other similar things. I called into sequence these same acts when you do them, so that they might receive the value of a divine will, which would then extend its kingdom in all of our acts. And while calling you in every one of my acts, I called the divine word to descend to earth. Oh, how much I loved you, my child. I wanted to reorder your acts within mine to make you happy and allow you to reign together with me.
Now this sentence of Mary, I called into sequence these same acts when you do them so that they might receive the value of a divine will which would then extend its kingdom into all of our acts suggests that it was not the acts of Mary alone that divized all human actions and extended God's kingdom in her soul. but principally those of the three divine persons operating within her, specifically the second person of the trinity to because to Louisa Jesus reveals in volume 3 on January 12th, 1900, I could have done the work of redemption in very little time, even with one single word. But during the course of many years with many hardships and sufferings, I wanted to make man's miseries my own. I wanted to apply myself to many different actions so that man might be completely renewed and divonized even in the most menial tasks. Indeed, once man's actions have been performed by me, who am God in man, they received new splendor and were impressed with the seal of my divine works. My divinity hidden within my humanity wanted to lower itself to such depths as to subject itself to the course of human actions. So Mary's uniting our thoughts, words, prayers, actions with hers finds its source in Jesus acts of divonizing all human activity. So Jesus, the God man, redeems mankind as the sole mediator between God and man. And Mary exercises a mediatory participation in the work of redemption. She mediates all the grace of God to us with Jesus, with the father, with the holy spirit.
Okay. So unity, I believe, is something that is sorely needed in these end times in every sense of the word. And we should pray for unity between East and Western churches, between all Christians, between all souls and all wills in God's divine will, knowing that it is a gift freely given by God alone that no human being had ever merited. And it is being restored by God alone, the Holy Spirit, who avails himself of the little daughter of his divine will. Just as Jesus's sole redeemer avails himself of Mary the co-redemptric. So the Holy Spirit is availing himself of the co-significualize this gift in these end times. And the gift is principally about unity. Unity of the human intellect with God's intellect. Unity of the human memory with God's divine memory. Unity of the human will with God's divine will through Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit to the glory of God the Father, always through the mediation of Mary and Louisa. And this is why Jesus tells Louisa, "In order to receive this gift, you must go through three planes. Jesus, Mary, and Louisa. Redemption, sanctification, and the reactualization of the primordial holiness that comes from both.
Well, my brothers and sisters in Christ, may God always keep you united in his most holy will. And may you bless you always in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
