Hello everybody and welcome. My name is Anne, and I'm here today making a video to answer some questions about the vibration alarm Casio watches that I really couldn't find answers to anywhere on the internet. So, if you are looking for a vibration alarm watch, I'm going to be talking about the W735H right here, the W736H, which I do not have, the TRT-110H, which I have right here, and also the GD 350. I'm not going to get into detail on this, but it is another vibration alarm watch by Casio. And with these four watches, we really have, basically, as far as I can tell, all of the Casio vibration alarm watches which are not the higher end, like 200 and more, or connect to Bluetooth kind of watches. These are the more straightforward, just a watch watches. But there's so much more than just a watch.
Now, if you are here because you like Swiss Army knife and multi-tool content, well, let me tell you, you also belong here. Because shockingly, you may be surprised to hear this, but these Casio watches, and a lot of Casio, and probably other digital watches, are like the Swiss Army knives of timepieces. They do so many things at a reasonable cost. They give you so many different, um, alternative ways to measure, and I'm going to say, even control your usage of time. They are just amazing tools that kind of impact life in a different way from the multi-tools we usually like to discuss on this channel. And just let me mention, here is today's Swiss Army knife. It is a Sportsman, which is here because making a video, I needed to do my nails, and it has a really, really nice nail file. This is just my go-to watch for a lazy day at home, except that it's a Swiss Army knife. So it's my go-to Swiss Army knife for a lazy day at home.
Let's get into how this started. My husband complained that I was waking him up in the morning with my alarm. So I said, fine, I'll get one of these vibration alarm watches that I saw on Amazon. Boy, this has led to quite a rabbit hole. This works as I was hoping it to. I do wake up to the vibration alarm on my wrist. I set a backup alarm on my phone so that I know that I'll wake up for, for sure. But what's amazing about this watch is not just that I can wake up to the vibration alarm, it is also all of the function that is packed into here. So first of all, I would say this is a timer-focused Casio, or maybe a productivity-focused Casio. One thing I love about it is that the first click of the mode button brings you to the timer. If you're going to use the timer for productivity purposes, you are going to be really happy with that. Another thing I love about it is that you can turn off the beep. So when I push the buttons, we don't have a whole bunch of beeping going on. I have this alarm set for one minute so that you can hear the buzzer go off. It really isn't very loud, but I'll keep it close to the microphone here so that you can actually hear how it sounds. In 42 seconds, in the meantime, let me tell you another amazing thing about this, which is totally not really advertised anywhere. This is not an auto-repeat timer, right? So I can't have it go off for a minute and then alert me, and then automatically time for another minute, or however I, however long I want, and then alert me again. It won't auto-repeat, but it does have one-button repeat. If I push this start button when this alarms, it will restart a one-minute, or in this case, or whatever, whatever time I had set it to timer right away. And this is a fantastic, fantastic productivity tool. It requires you to acknowledge the alarm, which I'll do here, right here. Can you even hear it? It's quiet. And then there we go. I push the button and start another countdown timer. This forces you to acknowledge the alarm. I know that this alarm happened, and at the same time, I can just kind of keep moving. This is possible with two button pushes on many other Casios, but this is not super common, as far as I can tell. Let me know in the comments section below if you know of a lot of other watches that have this single-button countdown timer restart.
Now, another thing I really love about this is that when I'm done using the timer, one push of the mode button does not bring me from this timer mode onto the next mode, which would be the stopwatch. It brings me back to where I probably actually want to go, just to watch. Anytime you do something in one of these different modes and then you push the mode button again, it'll bring you back to the timer mode. This stopwatch works just fine. Nothing terribly exciting here. Start, and then a split time here. Will stay here, I think, as long as you want. Now I can see the current time by pushing this again. Another split, but I would have to record this here. If I wanted to write this down, I'd need to write this down on paper now because as soon as I push something else, it's going to be gone. Then when I push start, the timer is stopped. Push split again, and it tells me the final time. Push split again, and we're back to resetting this. And there is no memory here. There's no way I can get those numbers back. Notably, the time is here while the stopwatch is not running. And likewise, the time is in the timer mode when the stopwatch is not running or that timer watch is not running. But as soon as I start it, the current time goes away. That's going to be a drawback for some people, but it's not super common to have the time and the timer available at the same time. When you find that that is a special watch. The alarm is just kind of what you would expect. You set it the normal way, hit the adjust button, and it'll make the digits flash, and you can push up or down. There's only one alarm here, which is kind of a feature. It keeps things simple. That's part of what I say about this being task-focused. It's not easy to push the wrong button and get lost in the menus of this. It is straightforward and mostly focused on that timer.
All right, now the final thing here is a dual time. And I often set the dual time for the actual time that it is here because I don't often really want that dual timer setting. But the good thing about this is that I almost never look at this because if I go to the timer and use it, and I use that there, and I push that mode button, I go back to the time. So I don't have to cycle through all of this all the time. Another thing I love about this watch, and I doubt you'll be able to see it here, this light. Oh, yeah, wow. Even look at that. Even under the light here, this backlight is incredible. It is amazing. I love it so, so much. Another useful thing about the vibration alarm here is that if I am working around other people, and I want to be using the timer to help with productivity, I do not get stuck with everyone listening to my watch beep all the time. I've turned off all the beeps on here, and that also activates the vibration alarm for both the countdown timer and the alarm. It is really a fantastic choice for me if I'm working around other people. It's just a little bit more private. Another thing I should mention about this is that the band is pretty nice. It is pretty comfortable, and the keeper, I think they call it here, has little notches that it fits into so that it doesn't slide around quite as much on your wrist. So completely love this, except for one thing. Honestly, even though I got the purple and gold edition, I'm gonna be honest, it looks like a warthog. I just don't love it.
Now, the W736A. It looks just like the W735H, except it has a different inside here. It does not have these little things that are spinning around up here, which really don't do anything for you in my opinion, except for look cool. And I do get the attraction of having something moving on your watch. I mean, you paid a lot of money, it might as well do something for you to look at, right? But if having those things going around is annoying, you might appreciate the W736H. And in particular, it has a much bigger display, making it much easier to see, especially if you use glasses. That might be a really great choice for you. I also like this circle up here. I can get that to focus. It shows you what is activated right now. So the vibration alarm, split time, alarm, and then SIG is what is the, uh, signal every one hour. It can beep or alert you in some way.
So, having had this watch and having loved this watch, why did I go and buy this watch? Well, I'll tell you, it works exactly the same way. You can see the similarities in how it's set up. As I push this button down here, it will scroll through the different modes. Now, this one, I have the vibration turned off, as you can see, denoted by not having this piece of the pie filled in up here. And as I scroll through, it will beep, but it goes through in the same order, starting with the regular time, then the timer, stopwatch, alarm, and dual time. However, there are several things that recommend this TRT-110H over the W735H. And the number one thing for me is that it doesn't look like a warthog. So these little nubs sticking out, look, I don't know, these are the buttons, or I guess they call them pushers. I'm really not a huge watch person, but these don't look that great on here. These are mud-resistant, which is why it's called Mud Resist buttons or pushers, I guess. And it makes the whole thing round. Oh my gosh, it looks so, so much better to me. Also, the numbers are a little bit bigger, which is awesome. The light is equally amazing as the light is on this one. And also, apparently the W736H has the same amazing light. The buttons are a tiny bit harder to push. The vibration alarm is equally able to be felt in both of these. So it, you know, if this one wakes you up, this one will too. But I really think the look of this is much cooler. And let me just point out how cool this one looks because it is a combination black and green deal here. I like the exposed screws. I have no idea if they're real or just decorative, but I think they look really awesome. I think this looks pretty great. And I love this gold around the edge. This gold here, and it has more. Both of these are the ones with gold on it. And you know, it's not real gold, but both of these have have gold on it. And this one has a little bit more, so it's a little bit shinier. Now, I'm not going to say this is like my ultimate fashion. I like how it looks for sure. I sure wish it looked a little bit different, or that I could get a little bit more feminine option.
So let's talk about the fit of this. I think I'm supposed to measure my wrist size, which I haven't done. But here you can see I've got only one hole remaining, and this extra strap is sticking out up here. It's not ideal, but it's fine. I still like it. I actually love the functionality of this so much. It's totally worth it. Now, if you are interested in these vibration alert watches, let me tell you, this W735H, I paid $27 for on Amazon. The W736H is going to be priced similarly. This TRT-110H, I paid a little extra for because I love the color, and that was $32. So for around $30, you're going to get, honestly, a fantastic watch that does so much for you. It looks kind of cool, and people are sometimes saying it looks like a G-Shock. I mean, it sort of has that same feel. But yeah, I'm telling you. So I love these so much, I went off the deep end and I got this GD 350. I paid $98 for this, which I think I could have probably waited and gotten a better deal, but apparently that wasn't in the cards for me. These are cool. I love them. But once you have this G-Shock in your hand, you will not confuse these for this watch. This has such a massive feeling of quality. The size is different as well, but just the feel of quality when you're holding it is totally different. And that's a huge thing for me. It has some features that the other watches don't have that I think are worth knowing, especially if you're going to go and buy like two of these watches. Now, you're already two-thirds of the way to this one, so maybe you should just wait and get this one. First of all, this is an amazing feature that is on few Casios that really puts this in the timer-focused or task-focused category. Once you have set the timer, there's a one-button start, and you're gonna see where it says Sunday up here. One-button start, and we have a timer. Now, I can't do anything to control that timer other than let it go from this screen. You can see the timer pie slice is flashing there, and again, I have this watch on mute so I don't annoy everybody. Now I've got to click through everything to get to this timer and stop it and reset it, but that is fine with me. I don't mind in the least because that is such a cool, cool feature to me. That very much fits with the way that I work. When I'm doing something and I realize I'm liable to get caught up in this task and completely just lose track of time and spend three hours on something when I should spend a few minutes. This five-minute timer has really helped me out a lot. And so I really love, love this feature. And I also like that this is like a metal or a metal-looking button compared to the plastic buttons up here.
Let's just talk about some of the functions quickly. This world time is pretty interesting because it actually shows the whole name, and I can scroll through different places, and it'll actually scroll through like there's Cape Town's town or Warsaw. And it scrolls through. I love this scrolling screen here. I think this is so cool that it lets you see all of this different stuff. Um, it just feels so nice to use this. Now, when I push the button, it does not go back to the original time screen, which is okay. But surprisingly, that is a feature that I appreciate on these two less expensive watches as compared to this G-Shock version. Now, this alarm is very interesting because on the other watches, what I like about it is that they only have one alarm. On this one, they have a bunch of alarms. You can scroll through them by pushing this button down here. That's alarm number two, which is set for six o'clock, and then three, four, and five. I haven't set this. This is the signal that will turn on an hourly signal. Now, this alarm number one is currently off. I can turn it on to go off one time. So if I know I want to get up tomorrow at 5:30, there you go. If I know I want to get up every day at 5:30, I push the button again, and it's a daily alarm. But if I decide, you know what, I'm sleeping in tomorrow, I can turn that off. And I already have a watch set for six o'clock. There is almost no extra button pushing that I have to do. I don't have to go through and scroll through 30 minutes and say, I'm going to sleep in 30 minutes later. It's much faster and more slick to turn on and off these alarms with this one-button push. And I feel like reviewers aren't talking about the actual functionality of this a lot. This is awesome, really, really cool functionality. Uh, the stopwatch is similar. So once you start it, you'll get a split time here, and it's obviously blinking the word split. And then I can push this A button again to see where we're at. And if I do another split time, it'll show it there. Then I can stop. Push split again, that'll show me the final time. And once I push this button one more time, this is cleared. There is no storage here. However, did you see this right now? When I'm running this stopwatch, look, the current time is listed right here. So I can run the stopwatch and still see the current time. That is a really, really nice feature.
All right, now let's move on from there to a screen that I don't go to a lot, the timer screen. And the reason I don't go to it a lot is because I can start this timer from the first page. But again, once I go to this screen, the timer is running, and I can see the current time as well. This does not allow me, surprisingly, to set an auto-repeat timer. None of the vibration alarm watches allow that, and I have to guess it's because it would run down the battery. I also find it a little bit frustrating on this watch in particular that unlike these less expensive watches, on which I really appreciate the fact that when the timer runs out, one-button push of the start button will start another timer. This does not do that. And let me just demonstrate this by setting a new timer here. Now I have to push and hold to set this. And that 0h looks like Ohio to me, but no, it is zero hours. Okay, so I'm going to go down and make this zero minutes, and then we'll go for a very short timer, a five-second timer. All right, there we go. And let's start this five-second timer. You'll be able to hear the vibration if you can hear it. It is a different pattern than the other watches. But I'll show you that when I push this button here, it's not going to restart. Yeah, see, it just resets. And so I can restart it by pushing it again. And I'll let this run so you can try to hear the buzzer, which I'm not sure you're going to hear. I do really like this illumination up there. And let's also go back to the first page here. I'll start a timer here again. We've got our countdown coming here, and when it's done, it has such a cool little scrolling screen there. Time's up, it says exclamation mark. So you feel like, oh, time's up, great. I don't know. It's just feels so friendly. It feels like a friendly watch. Okay, I double-click that there. Okay, the light on this also is phenomenal. It's amazing. You can see this even under the light. It's really, really nice. The other things I want to mention about this is it is actually very comfortable. These things, I don't know what they call them, wings or something, really work very nicely. And the way this watch sits on my wrist, I'll put it on me to show you, is that everything is like folded down like this. And even on my fairly small and bony wrist, it actually does feel super comfortable. And I would actually argue this might even be the most comfortable out of the three. And again, just the quality of this resin feels really nice, and it's surprising what a difference that makes.
