Hello. Uh, my name is Karen Taylor.
Um, I'm a native of California. Uh, I've been in this uh county most of my life. I've worked for several of our very big tech giants. Um, I've been in tech over the last 30 years here.
Um, I was raised in Santa Clara County when we had cherry orchards. Um, and now we are a mecca for both tech and agriculture.
I, um, was actually living in Australia at the time in which this actually happened. But 28 years ago, I actually ended up in uh in Valley Medical.
I was in tech. I had a good job. I was working for an amazing company. And I still ended up here.
I thought that this hospital was not going to be a place for me. I ended up there 24 weeks pregnant. I ended up delivering twins, both a pound and a half. One of them did not survive. But I have a thriving 28-year-old today.
But without the services and without the proximity of this institution, Valley Medical, when I needed care and critical service the most, they were there. And that's why we have to continue to help people understand the important. Thank you very much.
