Lord, I have loved the habitation of your house and the place where your glory dwells. Every David, listen to me. This is one of the heartbeats of David. David doesn't just love the Lord. He loves his house. This teaching is a foundational one. And just like every foundational teacher, it must be taught again and again and again. Because many new people and new people and new faces, you know, will come to the house of God. And some of this isn't to be repeated. So this teaching is not the last time you will hear it. That's what I'm saying. I heard that there were some rumbling on WhatsApp over the subject of fasting. And somebody asked the person, do you know what B is? And person say, what is B? So when I heard, I had compassion. I said, this is why we have to keep on teaching. Because some people are here for the first time today. Raise your hand. This is your first Sunday. Please celebrate all of [Applause] them. So if they choose to join the church today, they will be added to the WhatsApp. When today have they heard all the teachings of the last 2 years? No. So why are you confused? Why are you stressed? We stress over simple, simple things. That's why we thought on culture because we were expecting this. You didn't hear what I just said? Yes, sir. So how do you go through all that to come and call on a simple subject like when serious things now start, what are you going to do? Just on Monday, I felt like adding to that because I think I shared it in the crossover service. I don't know if I did or not. I was having a conversation with one the to be. And interesting, it was over lunch. So we were eating. And then the subject of fasting came up. Because I heard that their church go on on 40 days. Ah, not breaking in the evening. Marathon in the UK. Thunder fire devil. So that's the only question I had on my heart for you. We had how what inspir is why in this [Music] country? Let the right people inspire you. Are you hearing what I'm [Music] saying? Why you want to see their results? Follow their processes. Man of God, I'm going to fast. I said, we will talk. We will talk about this. Cuz we're doing it together, sir. You are in Pro already. Nothing is stopping us. All the anointings God has promised us, we will enter into it. Yes. You will not enter into some things except by fasting and prayer. I can assure you. So the earlier you love it, the better for you. The person is speaking to you. And you can know what his priority. Observe where the enemy's attention is. And you can know what's priority. All over the generations. Do you see how the enemy has attacked the gathering of believers? Even in those so-called developed nations, you see one of the things that they have always attacked is a gathering of believers. In some of your campuses, those of you listening to me, even online, you've seen laws that came to stifle the gathering of believers. Cuz when gatherings happen, anything happens. Is somebody hear what I just said? That's always the beginning of every move. Is the gathering. Psalms 3:6. Very popular Psalm. The psalm of David. The Lord is my shepherd. I shall not want. Verse 6 says, what? Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of. And what? This was David's desire to just be in the house of God for how long? Forever. Forever. Say Psalms 27:4. Psalms 27:4. Together, one to go. One thing I have desired of the Lord, that will I seek, that I may dwell in the house of the Lord. How long? All the days of. How long? How long? Why? You see, this was David's desire as a king, not as an apostle, prophet, teacher, evangelist, pastor, as a busy king. In fact, was still him. Give it was media that said, a day in your courts is as a thousand years and way. Give it to us. Same David also said, better to be a what? A doorkeeper. That is what can we use as example? And it must be the heartbeat of everyone who is called according to his order. Psalms 1112. From verse 1 all the way to verse 9. But we'll just read a couple of verses because of our time. Psalm 112. Let's say 11 one2. One two2. Sorry. 122. One two2. Together, one to go. I was glad when they said to me, let us go to the house of the. So that's what we're exray in this brief sharing. Why was David glad to go to the house of the Lord? Very simple. What's the house of the Lord? And as I'm speaking, of course, see it. The two ways you should see it. The first one is, you know, we ourselves being the house, right? And also corporately being the house. But for the purpose of this teaching, just focus on us corporately. We know we are the house. That's what David was even longing for, which he didn't get to experience. We now have that experience. God is inside of us. And we thank God for that. When now we're talking about the corporate house, the corporate body of Christ. Matthew 18:15 to 20. Very simple. What is church? Or what is body of Christ? Or what is uh the house of God, as it were? Want to define it very simply. So we'll read from verse 15 all the way to 20. I want to see how powerful what we are doing is. Together, want to go. Moreover, if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother. Next verse. But if he will not hear you, take with you one or two more, that by the mouth of two or three witnesses, every word may be confirmed. And if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses even to hear the church, then what? So Jesus sees the church as the last point, the highest point of authority. In fact, the church is called the Ecclesia. Is a governing body. I want you to see what begins to say is within the c or the powers of the church. Verse 18. Matthew 18:18. Everyone. 1, 2, go. As shortly I say to you, whatever you bind on Earth will be bound in heaven. And whatever you loose on Earth will be loose in heaven. Verse 19. If two of you agree on Earth concerning anything, and the Earth it will be done for them. And my Father in Heaven. Verse 20. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, I am there in the midst of them. Did you see that? Once you have two, three people present in the name of the Lord, what do you have there? They have a church. Call it Apostolic Center. Call it Fellow Campus Fellowship. Call it House Fellowship. Call it say group. Call it Network. Call it h. Anything you want to call it. Where you have two or three gathered in Jesus name, what do you have there? The church. And anything can happen. Can we lift our hands and thank him for that? Glory to God. So what happens when we gather like this? What happens in church? What happens? And why did David, you know, show so much excitement for this? Number one, clarity comes. You've read that already in Psalms 27:4. Clarity comes. Clarity comes. Don't forget everything I'm saying also happens within your personal house, right? Clarity comes. But there are some you will see more intensely in the corporate house. Clarity comes. Clarity comes. He said he comes to the house to behold the beauty and to what? To inquire. To inquire. So clarity comes. Questions are answered. That's what that means. If you are confused for too long, it might be because you have dishonored the house. Even if you don't pick the answer, the answer should come within the house. Did somebody get what I just said? Yeah. Yeah. It's strange that you won't have an answer. Even if you did not pick on your own, once you honor the house, the body, the corporate house, whether is from the pulpit. Have some of you come with questions before and the answer came? Come on. Come on. That's how it works. I won't even plan to say it. The pastor will not plan to say anything that you have been thinking. But as he stands here, one of the purposes of the Ecclesia, of the Church, of the garden of believers, is answering of what? Question. Dissolving of doubts. This to the second point. Dissolving of doubts. Dissolving of doubts. Conviction comes. Conviction comes in the house. Anything that attacks the house is attacking clarity. Is attacking conviction. You see why you don't play with such attacks? Anyone the enemy raised at a horn to scatter the house is being raised to scatter people's convictions. Scatter people's clarity. And many times they are innocent. They are sincere. They don't know better. Psalm 73. I like this one. The emphasis is on verse 2 and 17. But you can write Psalm 73 from verse 1 all the way to 17. It will bless you. Psalms 73. David had a low moment. Can you give it to us in a very interesting version? Maybe Good News or NLT or or Message version. I like this. Okay. Together, one, 2, go. But as for me, I came so close to the edge of the cliff. My feet were slipping, and I was almost gone. Why? For I envied the proud when I saw them prosper despite them. Who has felt like this before? Why? They know they die. You even use it in your Sal. Don't worry. You see, watch what what will happen. And they live. David got to that point. He had questions. Because what's the point serving God? Some people have asked that question, right? Yes, sir. If God is real, why is he watching wickedness go on? Questions come up as you go through life. Doubts begin to arise. It happens to the best of us. You see why you need the house? It happened to David. It happened to David. He envied. This is taken literally. David was envying the proud. So you can be at that point in life where suddenly those that you were seeing a particular life and you were confident in who you are. All of a sudden now you're looking at them with another eye. N, you're wondering, say, I'm not going to meet them to help me. I'm sorry for being righteous all those time. Used to to tell tell me to follow you. I said no. I'm a child of God. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I was foolish. It can get that bad. All those ladies are doing abortion, abortion, abortion, abortion. They're enjoying. They're giving out of the proes of wickedness. And that's how you are able to survive. As you are speaking in tongues, you come and beg them, please join. Please look at you. Find something for her in that scoreboard. You bring out some $100 there and give you manise. This one, one of my my sugar daddies gave me. Thank you very much. Leave my front, Jesus. Sister broke. Jesus sister. You get back. As you're eating the IND and chewing the bread, you are thinking, am I wasting time falling upon the Lord? Are you seeing the picture clearly? That's exactly what happened to David. He could not understand. Because if somebody is wicked and instantly the next day, person is punished, you will pity a wicked person, right? But now he's envying a wicked person. It means the person's punishment was postponed and postponed until the wickedness look and righteousness. That's why the Bible says, when your judgments are in the end, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness. It's not good when wickedness goes unpunished. Righteous people will start envying the wicked people. Verse 4. Together, one, 2, go. They seem to live such a painless life. Their bodies are so healthy and strong. Don't smoke. Don't smoke. Don't smoke. They use them as example. They say, I know an 85-year-old who is he smoking at 85? Have you not seen such cases? Yes, sir. And 45-year-old who lived a clean. He doesn't even eat meat. Does not eat. He still died. So those kind of examples can be frustrating. Somebody who drank till they were 110. Give that example to your mother. You just slap you. Then is all just know that you should not. Because now it begins to look like, are we sure? Who I'm saying? They seem to live such a painless. Their bodies are so healthy and strong. Verse 5. They aren't troubled like other people or plagued with problems like everyone else. Verse 6. They wear pride like a jeweled necklace and their clothing is woven of cruelty. There seven. These fat cats have everything their hearts could ever wish. David was not in a good mood. Their fat cats, they scoff and speak only evil. In their pride, they seek to crush others. Verse 9. They boast against the very heavens and their walls stretch throughout the earth. Verse 10. And so the people are dismayed and confused, drinking in all their W. Verse 11. Does God realize what was going on? They ask. Is the most high even aware? Was. Do you see what begins to happen in people's hearts? Verse 12. Look at this arrogant people enjoying a life of ease. While their riches multiply. Verse 13. Was it for nothing that I kept my heart pure and kept myself from doing wrong? I feel like someone needs to pray. Prayer. Say, Father, Father, steady my heart in righteousness. Steady my heart in right. I feel so many people are in that place where you're questioning. You're doing the right thing. You're still doing it. But your heart is already shaking. Say, I'm not wasting time like this. Lift your voice and say, Father, strengthen my heart in right doing. Lift your voice and pray. Pray. Pray. Pray. Pray. Pray. [Music] [Music] Pros. [Music] Oh, he a rewarder of those that diligently seeking. Strengthen my heart in truth. In conviction. In Jesus mighty name, we have prayed. Verse 14. Everyone. Verse 14. 1, 2, go. All I get is trouble all day long. Every morning brings me pain. Verse 15. I would have been a traitor to your people. So I try to understand why the wicked prosper. But what a difficult task it is. Verse 17. Everybody, want to go. Then one day I went into your sanctuary, oh God. And I thought about the destiny of the wicked. Verse 15. [Music] 18. Verse 18. Truly, you put them on the slippery path and send them sliding over the cliff to destruction. Verse 19. And in an instant, they are destroyed. Swept away by terror. Verse 20. Their present life is only a dream that is gone when they awake. When you arise, oh Lord, you will make them vanish on this life. Why are we going with this conviction was strengthened where the house of [Music] God. All these I see through. But you believe it or not, what he now knew after coming to the house was it a new thing? It is true whether you believe it or not. But whether you sleep from that truth or reality or not, it still remains true. It just ceases to be true to you who has left the [Music] house. And that's why you shouldn't play with the gathering of believers. Because as you come, your faith is what? Strengthened. Is energized. Your conviction is strengthened. That's why you need to listen to certain truths again and again and again. Because the thing you are sure about before, you can stop being sure about it. Did you hear what I just said? Please don't forget this. That's how we are wired. We must keep on refreshing ourselves on truth. Glory to God forever. Hallelujah. Two, three things I've said. Number one, what happens in the house? Clarity comes. Number two, what happens in the house? [Music] Hing conviction. Same, same thing. Number three, edification happens in the house of [Music] God. What's edification? Is a process by which believers are built up. That is progressively advanced in knowledge and holiness. The process by which we are built up or advanced in knowledge and holiness is edification. To edify means to instruct and to build up in knowledge. To upgrade. To enhance. So anything that edifies you is something that enhances you. Paul literally gave almost a whole chapter to this. First Corinthians chapter 14. You see him repeat it again and again and again. We just emphasize verse 5, verse 12, verse [Music] 26. Everything we do in church is done to edification. Every aspect of the church program, every activity, willever do, whether it looks like it or not, it is to the intent that people are upgraded. It means every time we gather like this, if you were on penum one, you should leave here as penum what? Penum two. Okay, let's leave penum. Penum is a long time ago. What can we use? H. H. Not everybody's iOS. I wanted to use iOS, but not everybody's Windows, right? If we're using Windows 7, after a church service, you move to Windows 8. The next church service, move to Windows what? 9 and 10. And is there 11? And 12? 11. All right. For yes, iOS. iOS users. If you were what now? You update your OS operating system. That's what I'm talking about. I've not been able to keep t with it. It's confusing. 15.3 or 13.6 or all that. The summary is, by the time you are out of that service, there should be something you did not know that you now know. Or you assume you knew that you now better understand. That's why we are gathering. We have been built up. And to be built up is to be advanced in knowledge. Glory to God forever. Hallelujah. Verse 5. 1 Corinthians 14:5. H. Give me enk so that you can see the word used there. Together, one to go. I wish you all spoke with tongues, but even more that you what? Prophesied. So see the point. Everybody speak in tongues, but more importantly, that you what? Prophesy. Why am I desiring that more than just speaking in tongues? You prophesy. For he who prophesies is what? Greater than he who speaks in tongues, unless he indeed he interprets, that the church may receive what? So what is the P upon which we are classifying the person who prophesies as greater than the one who? Come on. What's the basis? Edification. That means if a person does not edify you, that person is not great. What if I sounded very anointed and charged and complicated and strange? If you were not edified, Paul is saying that he, I am not as great as that children drama that was acted on the altar that added something to you. Did you hear what I just said? Yeah. He who prophesies is greater. The emphasis is on the edification. The prophecy is bringing. So, so it means also that if my prophecy is doing harm, are not good? Did somebody get what I just said? There's no greatness in it. Give us the next one. 12. [Music] Right. Together. I want to go. Even so, since you are zealous for spiritual gifts, let it be for what? The edification of the church, as you seek to excel. [Music] 26. Together. I want to go. How is it then? Praise. Whenever you come together, each of you has a what? Has a teach. Has a. Has an. Let all things be done for what? So why do we have testimony [Music] time? Why are we singing praise and [Music] worship? Everything, everything is to what end? Edification. So people live this place and they are better in the knowledge of Christ. They are more updated and upgraded in spiritual things. What they couldn't do before, they can now do. They were chasing them in a dream before. After a service like this, they gave get back and they the ones now chasing the chaser. The chaser has become the chasey. And the chasey has become the chaser. Is somebody hear what I just said? Yes, sir. Yeah. These are the upgrades that should happen every time we gather. Can we celebrate Jesus for [Applause] that? Why do we gather? The next point. We receive direction. Direction. Acts Chapter 13, Verse 2 and verse 3. Acts 13:2 and verse 3. Together, one to go. As a minister to the Lord and fasting, who knows why I'm laughing? God help you. Ah, God help you. May God bless you with grace to fast. As they minister to the Lord and what? Fast. The Holy Ghost said, now separate to me who Barnabas and saw for the work to which I have called them. Verse 3. Then having what? Again. So they fasted. Then they heard. After they have heard, they now what? Again. Now fasted and prayed and what? Laid hands. Don't go around touching people's heads and sending them [Music] messages. They fasted, prayed, received, then fasted, prayed, then imparted. This happened in the church. So direction, callings are activated. Writing plenty things are inside these two verses. Callings are activated in the house. Ministries are born in the house. Are beted in the house. When we gather like this, people are activated into dimensions. Many of you can remember meetings, programs, retreats where things were activated. Yes or no? That's how it works. Are there exceptions? Yes. Some of you can be in your secret place, on some mountain somewhere, and something can happen. But this is how it's ordained to happen for virtually every single one of us. This is how you will see things activated. Many times, even when those things have happened in that your secret place, it is in the corporate house, it will be confirmed. Did somebody hear what I just said? This thing that happened to Paul and Barnabas, I'm sure they might have picked it themselves personally. But when it come to the house, it's now what? Confirmed. The Holy Ghost is saying this. When when there's confusion for too long, check, check, check. Many of you have received words on WhatsApp from friends, or you're just in a program, and somebody came to you and said, while I was praying, the Holy Ghost is this thing that is happening in the house. God has many opportunities to access you. Did somebody hear what I just said? It's strange when you are confused for long and you are connected to a house. Declare, I honor the house of God. I honor the house of God. Come on. David said this. Can you say it? I love and honor the house of God. The house of God. The house of God refreshes me. The house of God refreshes me. Look around you. Look around you. Look around you. Look around you. Look around you. Guess what you're looking at? Come on. Guess what you're looking at? If nobody is picking you in the spirit, are you connected to the house? How can there be many people here, residents of the Holy Ghost, nobody is seeing you? Come on. It's for your safety. Somebody should pick it. If you didn't pick it, I believe you should be the first person to pick it. But something's wrong with the anointing. Are not in a good place. When you come to the house of the Lord, refreshment should come. Yes or no? B things should be lifted. You don't call me weary and live weary. It's not because the man of God on the p is anointed. It's because the person by your side is anointed. Look again. Look again around you. Look very well. Give somebody high five and say, I honor the house of God. The God. I honor the house of God. [Music] Glory to Jesus. I feel the anointing. The house of God. And we shall dwell in the house of God forever. It's here now. It's a reality. This is the house of God. There shouldn't be confusion. There shouldn't be doubt anymore. There shouldn't be be a lack of conviction. This is the house of God. Prophecy comes to strengthen conviction. As we gather, somebody pick, sir, I saw you in this place and that place. Hey, I was not sure. I thought it was my thought. Now I know God is sending me to that place. Has anybody experienced that before? There are some things you hear, you can't. It's difficult to obey because it's strange. How can God tell somebody, leave his job? Meet any parent, any mentor, any pastor. The average pastor will tell you, ah, your village people have arrived. And I send them back to the village in the name of Jesus. How can you hear such a thing? There are some things that are difficult for you to hear. If you now heard it, and it's just there, you should have wrote it in your notes. Sh. But you wrote Sellar under it to be thought about. We think about it. As you enter the house of the Lord, the person by your side said, I don't know you. I'm sorry. I don't know you. I'm really, really sorry. I'm sorry. I don't know how this going to sound. I'm, I'm really. Go ahead, sir. Say what you want to say. I saw you leave your job. I'm sorry. Yay. Because every David loves the word of God. Loves the instruction of God. The fact that your having hasty, you know, hasty now, having slow feet or you're being resistant, doesn't mean you don't love God. If you are sure it's God, if you are here, you are sure. If something is God, you will do it. You don't have problem with how difficult, how stressful. You, you just want to be sure that it's God. That's your own. Raise your hand. That's exactly how reasons. That's the only challenge I've ever had. Is just to be sure. I don't have with any instruction. Just I want to be sure it's not me. Honor the house. And it will shock you how much of a blessing. Some will not even know how prophetic they are until they see you. As they look at you, they begin to their prop begin to flow because you are honoring the house. Honor the house. Everybody here is for your good. You hear what I just said? Yes, sir. Everyone here is for your good. God gave them that healing anointing for your sake. God bless them with that grace in the prophetic for your sake. Everything they have been endowed with is for who? It's for your sake. All things are yours. Honor the house and enjoy it. It is for your own good. Oh, don't betray the house. Don't tear apart the house. Don't scatter bre. That's why strife. Because the house is for our preservation. Did somebody hear what I just said? For your preservation. Don't scatter the house. Don't be part of those that will make somebody walk away from God. He said this about me. Ah, I will never go to church again. Don't be the reason somebody stumbles. Did you hear that? Honor the house. Love the house. Glory to Jesus forever.
