Morphological characteristics of lymphoblasts so typically trademark immature chromium pattern soft loose Lacy but generally speaking the cells are smaller. Cytoplasm will be basophilic and we see a couple of different presentations in all for lymphoblasts.
So we see a hand mirror type appearance with look a little bit like a myeloblast but have this kind of like handle of cytoplasm hanging off of them. And we see other populations where the chrominant pattern is much less concrete and has a high variability. May not see nucleoli but the cytoplasm is the key here. There is not a lot of it an abnormally scanty cytoplasm.
