Most Christians read Hebrews 11:1 as "faith is the substance of things hoped for" and hear it as a beautiful metaphor about trust. They are reading the wrong word.
The Greek word translated substance is *hoopostasis*, and it was not a poetic word. It was not a devotional word. It was a legal term used in first-century real estate transactions for the deed of ownership. Archaeologists have found it in ancient papyri documents from Egypt used in property contracts, inheritance records, and title transfers.
Faith is not hope. Faith is a title deed. You are not waiting for God to deliver something. You are holding the document that says it is already yours. That is not a metaphor. That is not an interpretation. That is the actual definition of the word the Holy Spirit chose when he breathed this verse into the heart of the writer of Hebrews.
And the moment you understand what that word really means, your entire prayer life changes, your posture changes, your words change, your expectations change. Because a person holding a title deed does not beg the property to appear. They do not plead with the courthouse to recognize them. They act as the legal owner because they are the legal owner.
In the next several minutes, we are going to walk through this revelation from the E.W. Kenyon tradition. And I want to warn you now, this is not going to make you feel better about your waiting. This is going to end your waiting altogether.
Every prayer prayed from a waiting posture is a denial of the title deed in your hand. Every tear shed toward a God who has already said yes is a confession that the covenant is not settled. And you have been taught this posture. You learned it from sincere, well-meaning believers who were themselves taught it by sincere, well-meaning teachers. But the tradition they passed down was built on a translation, not on the original word. And today, that changes. Stay with me. Open your spirit. What you are about to receive is not information. It is transformation.
You have been waiting, maybe for healing, maybe for provision, maybe for a breakthrough in your family, your finances, your body, your future. And you have been praying with everything in you, sincerely, desperately, fervently, and still the answer has not come. And somewhere in the silence, a quiet, cruel thought has crept in. Maybe it is not mine. Maybe I have not prayed long enough. Maybe I have not earned it. Maybe God is waiting for me to be better, to be holier, to be more consistent in my devotions before he releases what I need. And so you go back and pray again. This time with more emotion, more tears, more apologies, more promises to do better. And still nothing moves. You fast, nothing changes. [music] You attend every prayer meeting, nothing changes. You read the healing scriptures for the hundredth time. You feel the warmth of hope in your chest for a moment. And then the symptom reminds you that nothing in the natural has shifted. And that warmth cools again. And you sink back into the familiar, hollow feeling of wondering whether this God who promises everything is actually going to come through for you.
Let me tell you what has happened to you. You have been taught to beg when you were called to enforce. You have been trained in sense knowledge religion when your spirit was born to walk in revelation knowledge. And that is not your fault. It is not a sin problem. It is not a character problem. It is not a problem with your heart or your sincerity. It is an information problem.
The church has handed down a posture, a prayer posture, a waiting posture, a pleading posture. And it looks so humble, so sincere, so spiritual that almost no one has had the courage to call it what it actually is. It is a denial of the covenant. It is a posture that says, by its very existence, that the work is not finished, that the word is not settled, that God may or may not come through depending on how sincere your asking is today. And every time you pray from that posture, you are not honoring God. You are not being appropriately humble before a sovereign God. You are, in the deepest theological sense, dishonoring the blood of his Son because the blood said, "It is finished." The covenant said, "Every promise is yes and amen." And your begging prayer says, "I am not sure it is finished. I am not sure it is mine. I am not sure the promise actually covers me." That is sense knowledge religion masquerading as humility.
Hear me clearly. The revelation I am about to give you will not make your faith arrogant. It will make your faith accurate. It will align your confession with your covenant. It will end the begging and begin the enforcing because this is what the word actually says. And this is what E.W. Kenyon spent his entire life teaching the body of Christ, often to ridicule, often to rejection, always to the liberation of every soul willing to receive it.
Hebrews 11:1, sit with it again. "Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." The English word "substance" has softened this verse almost beyond recognition. [music] In modern English, substance can mean essence or quality or material makeup. It sounds almost philosophical, almost impressionistic, as if the Holy Spirit were painting a picture of faith with watercolors.
But the Greek word is *hoopostasis*. And it was a word every literate person in the first century would have recognized from legal documents. It was used to describe the underlying foundation that gave a thing its legal standing in property law. The *hoopostasis* was the foundational document. The title deed, the written legal guarantee that this property belongs to this person regardless of what current circumstances look like.
We know this not from theological speculation, but from actual first-century documents that archaeologists have recovered in the papyri manuscripts found in Egypt. The word *hoopostasis* appears in exactly this context as a technical term for the legal documentation that establishes ownership. When the writer of Hebrews chose this word, he was not reaching for poetry. He was reaching for precision. He was a man steeped in the legal and covenant world of his day. And he chose the most legally precise word available to him to describe what faith is.
Faith is the title deed of the things you have been promised. The deed precedes the physical possession. The deed has legal authority before you have moved into the house. The deed does not wait for the house to be built. The deed establishes ownership the moment it is signed, sealed, and delivered into your hand.
This is why the verse does not say, "Faith is the hope of things hoped for." It says, "Faith is the substance, the legal document, the title deed, the foundational ownership record of things hoped for." Think about what that restructuring means for the believer. Hope is forward-looking. Hope says, "I desire something I do not yet have." But faith, defined as *hoopostasis*, is present-tense ownership language. It says, "I have the documentation proving I own what I cannot yet see with my physical eyes."
The believing man or woman is not a person who hopes they will someday receive. They are a person who already has the deed and is in the process of taking possession. That is a fundamentally different posture. That is a fundamentally different prayer. That is a fundamentally different life.
And then the verse goes further. "Faith is the evidence of things not seen." The word translated evidence is *elegchos* in Greek, and it means proof, conviction, a legal demonstration that settles a case beyond dispute. Faith is not merely the deed. Faith is also the evidence. The court-recognized proof that the unseen covenant realities are actual, present, and legally binding right now. Not in some future day. Not after a period of waiting and proving yourself, but now.
Your faith rooted in the word of God is not wishful thinking. It is legal evidence. It is the kind of evidence that stands up in the court of heaven and demands that the physical world come into alignment with the covenant reality in the new covenant. Every promise God has made to you has already been signed in the blood of Jesus Christ, sealed by the Holy Spirit of promise.
As Paul declares in Ephesians 1:13-14, "In him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. In him also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance." The word Paul uses there translated guarantee is *arrabon* in Greek, which means a down payment and earnest money. A legal deposit placed in advance to guarantee the full transaction will be completed. The Holy Spirit himself is God's legal deposit that the full inheritance is yours. Not coming, not pending, already deposited, already working, already guaranteeing the whole of what has been purchased in your name by the blood of the Lamb.
And then Paul opens that same letter to the Ephesians by declaring in chapter 1:3, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ." Not "who will bless you," not "who is considering blessing you based on your performance this week." "Who has blessed you." Past tense, completed action. Every blessing, not some blessings, not the blessings you have earned through sufficient prayer and fasting. Every blessing already deposited into your spiritual account, already written into your covenant record, already established in the ledger of heaven under your name.
This is the foundational revelation. From this platform, everything else in the Christian life makes legal, spiritual, and practical sense. Without this foundation, you are building on sand, hoping God will show up rather than standing on what the word says he has already done.
Let me give you a picture that will make this permanent in your understanding. Imagine with me a man, a poor man, a man who has labored his whole life and accumulated very little, who receives word one morning that a distant relative he barely knew has passed away and left him a considerable estate—not a small inheritance, a vast property, a house, land, financial accounts, everything the relative had accumulated over decades of careful building. A lawyer arrives at this poor man's door, presents a certified document, a legal deed, a testament of inheritance, and informs him that from this moment, he is the legal owner of everything described in that document.
Now consider the position of this man. He has not yet moved. He has not yet visited the estate. He has not yet spoken with the bank. He has not yet set foot on the land. In every physical, visible sense knowledge sense of the word, he is still the same poor man sitting in his modest dwelling. But legally, he is already wealthy. The moment that deed was placed in his hand, the transaction was complete. The inheritance is his. The property is his. The accounts are his.
Now here is the question: What does a man of sense knowledge do with that deed? He doubts it. He reads it over and over, wondering if it is real. He calls the lawyer back three times to ask if he is sure. He lies awake at night wondering if perhaps there are conditions he has not met, whether some other relative will contest the inheritance, whether the estate is actually as large as the document says. He talks to his friends, and they tell him to be careful, to not get his hopes up, to wait and see how it all plays out. He prays for the estate to manifest. He asks God to make the estate real. He begs the courthouse to confirm what the deed already says. And the more he begs and prays and doubts, the poorer he feels, even though the deed in his hand already makes him wealthy.
But now consider a man of revelation knowledge. He receives the deed. He reads it. He recognizes it as a legally binding document. He takes it to the courthouse and registers his claim. He calls the estate. He arranges his move. He begins conducting his life as an owner because he is an owner. He does not wait for the estate to feel real. He acts on the legal reality of the deed. That is faith. That is *hoopostasis*. That is the title deed operating as the foundational reality that governs a man's life.
And now apply this to your covenant with God. Every promise in the word of God is not a wish. It is not a possibility. It is a covenant deed written in the blood of Jesus Christ. Legally binding in the court of heaven. Registered under your name the moment you were born again.
Healing is in the deed. The Bible declares in 1 Peter chapter 2, verse 24, "He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By whose stripes you were healed." Not "you will be healed." "You were healed." Past tense, already accomplished. The deed is already signed.
Provision is in the deed. Philippians 4:19 declares, "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Every need, not some of your need, not your need if you have prayed enough. Every need, supplied from a wealth that never diminishes, by a covenant partner who never changes.
Peace is in [music] the deed. Jesus declared in John 14:27, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid." He left you his peace. That is covenant transfer language. He put his peace in your account.
Authority is in the deed. Luke 10:19 declares, "Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you." All the power of the enemy. That is comprehensive legal authority. Not partial authority, not authority that depends on how you feel today. Authority over all the power of the enemy, already granted, already sealed, already yours.
You are not a beggar arriving at the courthouse to apply for what you need. You are an owner arriving to take possession of what is already legally, completely, irrevocably yours.
This is the shift. E.W. Kenyon spent decades trying to drive into the consciousness of the church. He saw it with startling clarity, with a clarity that shocked religious traditionalists of his day and that continues to shock sense knowledge Christians in every generation. There are two kinds of knowledge operating in the world. Sense knowledge, which is the knowledge that comes through the five physical senses, through what you see, what you feel, what the doctor says, what the bank statement shows, what the symptom tells you in the night hours when you cannot sleep and the darkness presses in and everything visible is shouting that the deed is a lie.
And then there is revelation knowledge, which is the knowledge that comes from God's word, from the settled legal record of heaven, from the covenant document signed in the blood of the Son of God, from the testimony of One who cannot lie and whose word is settled forever in the heavens. As the psalmist declares in Psalm 119:89, "Forever, O Lord, your word is settled in heaven."
Sense knowledge is real, do not misunderstand. Kenyon was not teaching you to deny what is happening in your body or your bank account. He was not teaching Christian Science, which denies the reality of the physical world. He was teaching you something far more powerful. He was teaching you to refuse to let sense knowledge have the final word when revelation knowledge has already spoken the final word. The title deed does not cease to be valid because the squatter is on the land. And your covenant right does not cease to be operative because the symptom is still in the body. The question is always this: Which knowledge governs your confession, your prayer, your posture, and your expectation?
The hidden man of your heart, your recreated spirit that has been born of God and sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise—that man knows the truth. That man holds the deed. That man is not confused. That man is not waiting. That man is already seated with Christ in heavenly places. As Paul declares in Ephesians 2:6, [music] "and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus." Sitting, not standing in the waiting room, already seated, already positioned, already in authority.
Kenyon taught us that we must learn to govern our confession and our conduct from the inward man, from the revelation that lives in the spirit, rather than from the report that is coming in through the senses. When sense knowledge says you are sick, the spirit man says, "By his stripes I was healed." When sense knowledge says you are defeated, the spirit man says, "I am more than a conqueror through him who loved me." As Romans 8:37 declares. When sense knowledge says God has abandoned you, the spirit man says, "He will never leave me nor forsake me." As Hebrews 13:5 promises.
The spirit man is not in denial. The spirit man is in possession of the deed. And a person holding the deed does not argue with the symptom. They do not negotiate with the squatter. They do not read the bad report and then read it again and then call someone to discuss it and then lie awake describing it to themselves in the dark. They govern by the covenant. They speak from the deed. They act as the owner they legally are.
Kenyon wrote in his book, *The Hidden Man*, that the recreated human spirit, the inward man, is designed to be the governor of the whole person, the authority center from which the will, the emotions, and even the physical body are directed. When the spirit man is filled with the word of God and exercising covenant authority, the outer man comes into alignment. This is not mechanics. This is the design of God for the new creation. You are not a physical being trying to access spiritual reality. You are a spiritual being born of God, filled with the Holy Spirit, clothed temporarily in a physical body, with legal access to all the resources of the covenant.
Walk in that identity. Govern from that position. Speak from that place of authority. And watch the outer world respond to the inner covenant reality you are enforcing.
Now, let me give you exactly what to do with this, because revelation without application is just information, and information alone does not change a life. What changes a life is when revelation becomes a daily practiced, enforced reality. You have the title deed. You have the covenant right. Here is how you take possession with precision and permanence.
The first thing you must do is settle the deed in your mind before the crisis comes. Most believers wait until they are in the middle of the storm to go looking for their covenant rights. And then they try to build faith in the middle of the storm with the winds blowing and the waves crashing and sense knowledge screaming on all sides. And it is almost impossible to get clear. Kenyon called this meditating on the word in the quiet hours. Joshua 1:8 commands, "This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success."
The word for "meditate" in Hebrew is *haga*, which means to mutter, to speak quietly to yourself over and over, the way a person rehearses testimony before giving it in court. You take the specific promises that cover your specific area of need and you speak them to yourself in the quiet moments. In the morning, before the world gets loud, in the evening, before the day's reports crowd out the covenant's reality. You let the Holy Spirit press those words into the walls of your consciousness until the covenant truth is louder in your inner man than the sense knowledge report is in your outer man. "By his stripes I was healed. By his stripes I was healed." "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want." "My God supplies all my need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." You are not repeating words like an incantation or a ritual. You are rehearsing the terms of your covenant until your spirit man holds the deed with both hands and will not be moved.
The second thing you must do is make your confession align with your covenant and refuse. Absolutely refuse to confess anything that contradicts the deed. This is where most believers stumble because the temptation to describe your circumstances is overwhelming. People ask how you are. The symptom is loud. The bill is unpaid. And your mouth wants to describe what your eyes see and your body feels. Because that is the honest thing to do, you tell yourself. But hear this truth from the Kenyon tradition: describing the problem in agreement with the problem is not honesty. It is confession. And your confession creates your reality. Not because of some mystical law of attraction, but because your words align you either with the covenant or against it. And the God of covenant responds to covenant confession. Proverbs 18:21 declares, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit." You will eat the fruit of whatever you consistently speak.
So here is the practical confession for healing. You do not say, "I hope God heals me." You say, "I am healed by the stripes of Jesus, and I refuse to accept any report that contradicts the covenant." For provision: You do not say, "I am believing God for finances." You say, "My God has already supplied all my need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. I receive what is already mine." For peace: You do not say, "I am trying not to worry." You say, "The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guards my heart and my mind in Christ Jesus. I receive his peace now." You do not grovel. You declare. You do not beg. You appropriate.
Say this aloud right now, wherever you are: "I hold the title deed to my healing. The blood of Jesus has already purchased it. I hold the title deed to my provision. The covenant has already secured it. I hold the title deed to my peace, my authority, and my righteousness in Christ. I am not waiting for God to decide. I am taking possession of what is already mine in the name of Jesus Christ. I stand on the finished work of the cross. The deed is in my hand."
The third thing you must do is enforce the covenant against every contradiction. Every day, for as long as it takes the physical reality to align with the covenant reality. When the symptom speaks, you speak louder, not with volume, but with authority. When fear rises, you put the word against it. When sense knowledge screams, you present the deed. You declare aloud, directly, with the full authority of the name of Jesus Christ: "Body, I speak to you. You are healed by the stripes of Jesus. You will come into alignment with the covenant of God. Sickness, you have no legal right in this body. The court of heaven has already ruled. The blood has already spoken. You are evicted from this body in the name of Jesus Christ."
This is not positive thinking. This is not self-hypnosis. This is not a psychological technique borrowed from the self-help world and draped in religious language. This is a covenant heir enforcing the terms of a blood-sealed agreement against a legally defeated adversary, using the voice-activated authority that Jesus delegated to the church when he declared in Matthew 16:19, "And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven." Keys are authority. Keys open and close. Keys bind and loose. You have the keys. You have been given the authority. And authority that is never exercised is authority that produces nothing. The enemy does not flee from authority you hold silently in your pocket. He flees from authority you enforce with your voice, your confession, and your covenant-grounded declaration. Enforce it every single day until the physical reality bows to the covenant reality, until the squatter is evicted, until the land is fully possessed.
Now, I need to warn you about something, because the enemy of your covenant is not the sickness and it is not the lack. The sickness is just the squatter. The real enemy is the thought pattern, the lie structure, the internal narrative that keeps you from presenting the deed. And the enemy of your soul knows exactly how to generate that thought pattern because he has been studying human beings for millennia. And he knows precisely which levers to pull in your particular psychology to get you to drop the deed. He is called in Revelation 12:10, "the accuser of the brethren." And his accusation follows a very predictable script. He will whisper, "Who do you think you are? You have not been faithful enough to claim healing. You sinned last week. You doubted last month. Your faith is not strong enough. You have been praying this for years and nothing has happened. Maybe this is not God's will for you. Maybe you need to accept this. Maybe you need to be more humble about what God chooses to do and not do. Maybe this suffering is actually for your spiritual growth and you should stop resisting it. Maybe your desire for healing is actually selfishness dressed up as faith."
Hear me. That is not wisdom. That is not the Holy Spirit speaking. That is the accuser doing precisely what his name says he does: accusing you before the throne of your own heart, trying to get you to surrender the deed based not on the verdict of the covenant, but on the verdict of your own sense of unworthiness. And it is extraordinarily effective because it speaks to the deepest wound in the religious heart. The wound that says, "I am not enough to receive what God promises. I have not been holy enough. I have not believed purely enough. I have not prayed long enough or consistently enough or fervently enough. And so I do not deserve to take possession of the covenant promises as though they are simply mine."
That wound is real. That feeling is familiar to almost every believer who has walked in faith for any length of time. But it is a wound produced by sense knowledge religion, not by the new covenant. The new covenant does not say you deserve the promises. It says, "The promises were purchased by someone who does deserve them on your behalf and transferred into your name by grace through faith."
Let me show you what the word says about this. Romans 8:1 declares, "There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." Now, not after you have improved, not after your faith has grown stronger. Now. There is no condemnation to the believer. The accuser's accusation has been legally silenced by the blood of Christ. He has no standing in the court of heaven to bring a charge against you that God will honor.
Romans 8:33 makes this staggering: "Who shall bring any charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies." God has already rendered a verdict in your favor. He has declared you righteous in Christ Jesus. He has declared the purchased promises to be yours, and no accusation from the enemy, no report from the senses, no feeling of unworthiness from your own heart changes that verdict.
Revelation 12:11 tells us how the believers in that generation overcame the accuser: "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony." The blood of the Lamb is your legal defense. The word of your testimony is your confession that aligns with the deed. When the accuser speaks, you do not argue with him. You do not try to prove to him that your faith is strong enough or that you have sinned less this week. You simply declare, "The blood of Jesus Christ speaks on my behalf. I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus." 1 Corinthians 1:30 declares, "Christ has been made unto me righteousness." I am righteous not by my performance, but by the great exchange of the cross. I hold the title deed, and no accusation overturns a blood-sealed covenant.
Stop reasoning with the enemy. Stop trying to convince the accuser. Stop examining your own worthiness as if your worthiness is the basis for the covenant. It is not. The covenant was not issued on the basis of your worthiness. It was issued on the basis of his righteousness, and his righteousness never fails. 2 Corinthians 5:21 declares, "For he made him who knew no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God." That is the great exchange. He took your sin. He took your sickness. He took your poverty. He took your condemnation. And he gave you his righteousness, his health, his abundance, his acceptance before the Father.
Your righteousness consciousness, not sin consciousness, must be the lens through which you approach the throne. You are not approaching as a sinner hoping for mercy today. You are approaching as a covenant heir with a blood-sealed document, presenting your case before a Judge who has already ruled in your favor. As Hebrews 4:16 declares, "Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need." That word "boldly" is *parrhesia* [music] in Greek, and it means with full freedom of speech, with total confidence of access, with the authority of a citizen who knows their legal rights and is not afraid to exercise them. That is how you come to God. Not with cowering, not with hesitation, with boldness, with the deed in your hand, with the name of Jesus on your lips, with the blood of the covenant as your legal standing.
Now, I want to bring this to a close with the full weight of everything we have covered, because a message like this deserves a conclusion that leaves you not just informed, but activated. You have been given a revelation today, not an emotional experience, not a motivational talk. You have been shown the actual legal architecture of your covenant rights: *hoopostasis*, title deed, legal ownership, settled in the blood, sealed by the Holy Spirit, enforced through your confession.
The finished work of Jesus Christ has already purchased everything you will ever need in this life and in eternity. Healing is yours. Provision is yours. Peace is yours. Authority over the enemy is yours. Righteousness before God is yours. Identity as a son or daughter of the King of all creation is yours. The verdict has been rendered. The transaction has been completed. The deed is in your hand. Not tomorrow. Not when you feel strong enough. Not when the symptom finally leaves and you feel like your faith has worked. Right now, in this moment, with the symptoms still present, with the need still visible, with the storm still loud, the deed is in your hand right now. And the deed does not depend on circumstances for its validity. Its validity rests on the blood of Jesus Christ, which the writer of Hebrews describes in Hebrews 12:24 as "speaking better things than the blood of Abel." Abel's blood cried from the ground for vengeance. The blood of Jesus speaks from the mercy seat for your complete and total redemption. It is speaking right now. It is speaking for your healing. It is speaking for your provision. It is speaking for your family. It is speaking for your peace. And because it is speaking, you can stand. You can hold the deed. You can enforce the covenant. You can refuse to surrender to the lie that says God is withholding, or that the promise is not for you, or that your faith is not enough, or that the waiting must continue.
Right now, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I want you to say this aloud wherever you are. If you are driving, speak it toward the windshield. If you are doing dishes, speak it over your kitchen. If you are lying in a hospital bed, or sitting in a waiting room, or standing in a home that feels like it is falling apart, lift your voice and declare: "I am a covenant heir of the living God. The blood of Jesus Christ has purchased every promise in the word of God and transferred it into my name. I hold the title deed to my healing and I enforce it now. I hold the title deed to my provision and I enforce it now. I hold the title deed to my peace, my authority, my righteousness, and my identity as a child of God. And I enforce it now. I am not waiting for God to decide. He has already decided. I am not begging. I am receiving. The verdict of heaven has already been rendered in my favor by the blood of the Lamb. The court of heaven has spoken. The deed is in my hand. It is done. It is settled. It is mine in the name of Jesus Christ. I receive it now."

Just those five words. Type them below. "I hold the title deed." Let that be your declaration of position, your covenant confession planted in the public record of this community. Let me also say this before we fully close, because there is something more important than any technique in this teaching, and it is the One behind the covenant. The One who signed the deed loves you with a love that defies description. The covenant was not a cold legal arrangement designed by an indifferent God to manage a troublesome creation. [music] It was the most extravagant act of love in all of history. It was a Father who loved you so completely, so recklessly, so unconditionally, that he gave his own Son, that he let the blood of his Son be the ink that signed every promise into your name. First John 4:10 declares, "In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins." The love came first. The covenant confirmed it. The blood sealed it. The Holy Spirit was sent as the divine guarantee of every word.
And so, when you stand with the title deed in your hand and enforce your covenant rights, you are not pushing against a reluctant God who needs to be convinced. You are agreeing with a generous Father who has already said yes. You are saying yes to what love has already said yes to. You are receiving what grace has already given. You are inhabiting the fullness of what the Son of God went to the cross to purchase for you.
Walk in this. Do not walk out of this teaching the same person who walked in. Carry this word into your Monday morning and your difficult Wednesday and your sleepless Thursday night. Carry it into the doctor's office and the bank and the conversation that terrifies you. Let it settle into the deep places of your spirit until you cannot pray any other way. Until begging feels foreign to you. Until the waiting posture feels like something that belongs to a former life. Until you are so covenant-conscious, so title deed aware, so righteousness saturated that you stand before God and before the enemy and before every circumstance with the absolute, unshakable confidence of an owner who knows what belongs to them and is not intimidated by anything that contradicts the deed. The waiting is over. The deed is in your hand. The court of heaven has ruled. The blood is speaking. The Holy Spirit is guaranteeing. Take what is yours boldly, confidently, in the wonderful, covenant-sealing, legally binding, eternally established, never-failing name of Jesus Christ.
If I may share something personal with you before we close, there is one thing I have learned walking this truth out day after day, and it is simply this: holding the deed is not a one-time decision. [music] It is a daily, sometimes hourly, renewing of the mind. There are mornings when the sense knowledge is loud and the revelation feels distant. And I have had to sit with the word again, quietly speaking it to myself until the spirit man rises back to his proper place of governance. I have learned that the moment I begin describing my problem out loud in agreement with what my senses are reporting, I lose ground I fought hard to take. The confession has to match the covenant, not the circumstance. Even on the hard days, I have also learned that even mature believers stumble in this. We are all in the process of having our minds renewed. The covenant does not weaken when I am weak. The deed does not become invalid when I forget to hold it tightly. His faithfulness does not depend on my performance. That is the grace of the new covenant. And tonight, wherever you are, He is with you. Not in the channel, not in the teaching, in you. The greater One lives in you. Rest in that.
