Glory to God. Lift your hands toward heaven one more time and ask the Lord to speak to you tonight. Tell him to minister his word to your spirit. Just go ahead and talk to the father in your own word. In your own word. Talk to him. Talk to the father. Bless his name and ask him to minister to you tonight. Ask him to minister to you. Ask him to bless you. Ask him to speak to you tonight. Are you praying? Somebody talk to the Lord Jesus tonight. You are a child of God. Speak to your father. Thank you, Father. We give you glory. We give you praise. Blessed be your name forever. We honor you. We magnify you. We bless your holy name.
We've gathered tonight again to be instructed. We've gathered to be impacted. We've gathered to be blessed and invigorated by your spirit. Lord, we ask that you bring us light. We ask that you energize our spirits. Honor. We honor you. We magnify you in Jesus name. Go ahead and touch the keyboard for me. Whoever is on the keyboard, I just need gentle sound at the background.
Tonight I want to touch the team of the conference focused and not distracted. I was preparing for this meeting praying trusting God to put his word in my spirit. But the moment I walked into this place and God's servant made a statement, I discovered there's so much that I didn't understand about the topic and I was recalibrated. Usually when I think of the subject of focus, when I think around the subject of distraction, my mind will naturally go to the youth. But when I walked into this place, God servant made a statement. He said, "I am 86. I'm not I'm not 56." And so I know I don't have so much time and because of that I focus to get the much I can get. It dawned on me that focus is not a subject only for the youth. It's actually more critical for the elderly. Why it's important for the youth because his destiny is ahead of him. It's also important for the elderly because they are wrapping up their time on earth. And at that level, fulfillment is what matters. And so if you will find fulfillment, then you must come to a point like Jesus where you can tell yourself it is finished. And so until you can say it is finished, you still have need to be focused because there's much ground to cover. When Joshua was coming to the end of his life, the Lord spoke to him and tell and told him, "Look, the land is vast before you." He said, "There is so much territory to cover." Now this was a man who at the time had covered 31 kingdom, conquered 31 kingdoms. Yet God was telling him there is much to do. And so I've discovered that when you get to that point of wrapping up, the urgency becomes even much more. And so this evening, I want to encourage everyone to open your heart. Let's hear what the Lord has to tell us by his spirit in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Genesis chapter 1 verse 26 is where I will begin my teaching from tonight. I want to deal with the subject I've titled the power of focus. And so this evening I will first of all try to go through the scripture to reveal to us the magnitude of assignment the Lord has given to us and the thoughts that God thinks towards us as an attempt of establishing foundations for the necessity of focus as humans working under the government of God. And so this was God speaking after recreating the earth. I usually teach from this subject, but this time I'm tilting my direction along the lines of focus.
Now, in Genesis 1:26, we saw God trying to bring in another entity to govern the realm. Because as you read your Bible, you are going to discover that this earth we are living in is not the first face of the earth that God created. The first fa face of the earth that God created was destroyed. This is the second face of the earth. And a time will also come where this second face I mean this is actually the third face because in the days of Noah the earth was yet destroyed. And so there is a fourth face of the earth that will come down from heaven that will abide forever. In Genesis 1:1 the Bible told us in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. And he said, "And the earth was void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep." So the first earth that was created became void. The word void is the word tohoo. It means waste, nothingness, chaos, and absolute destruction. So the first earth was destroyed utterly. There was no life on the face of the earth. So God returned to the earth and recreated the earth. So this earth is actually a recreated process enterprise. This is why when you study the Bible, you will not know how light was created. You will not know how water was created. You will not know how darkness was created because they were all in the original design in Genesis 1:1. What God did from Genesis 1:2 is to recreate the earth to reestablish order. So God separated light from darkness. He separated the waters from the earth. He separ from the earth. So it was a project of reordering the face of the earth. And then in the days of Noah, we saw that the earth was judged again and the flood wiped out the earth. But we see in Revelations 21 that at the end of time a new earth will descend from heaven because the elements of this world the Bible said will be burnt off. So the earth will actually be rehabilitated three times. The final earth will appear in in revelations 21.
But while we are here, it's important for us to understand the magnitude of assignment that God has committed to us. And so when God recreated the earth from Genesis 1 verse 2 to Genesis 1 verse 25, there was a need to place another governor on the earth realm that will govern over God's agenda because the earth cannot run itself. The earth needs a custodian to watch over the earth in order for divine agenda to find expression. It was on this wise that God decided to create a new functionary that he will entrust the earth to because the first earth was governed by a principality, an angelic entity. If you study Isaiah 14, you are going to find out the Bible speaking from verse 12. Oh Lucifer, son of the morning. He said, how art thou fallen from heaven? He said, you have said in your heart, I will exalt my throne from the earth to the heavens. The Bible said he was the one that weakened the nations. So there was a civilization on the earth before the earth was destroyed. There was a prince that ruled over the earth before the earth was destroyed. Now that God has recreated the earth, he didn't want to bring another angelic functionary to rule the earth. So he decided to create a new specimen, a new a new entity to govern the earth. This was what necessitated Genesis 1:26. And the Bible said God said, "This time, let us make another creature that is called man." And this creature is not an angel. Let us make him in our own image and after our likeness, and let them have dominion over the beds of the air, over the fish of the waters, and over everything that creepeth upon the face of the earth.
So God created the man and handed him the assignment of ruling over the atrial. Now when I read this scripture, what humbled me from this scripture is the fact that the earth that over 8 billion people are struggling to manage. As far as God was concerned, one man had the capacity to govern the earth. There are over 8 billion of us now struggling to manage this earth. But God handed the whole earth to one man. What it means is that we have not realized the potential of humankind. Although we are men, we don't know who a man is. The day God will open our eyes to understand who a man is, it will humble us greatly. In Psalm 139:14, the psalmist was speaking. He said, "I am fearfully and wonderfully made." He said, "My soul is aware of this." The biggest problem of humanity today is that man does not know what man is. God knows what man is. The devil knows what man is. Angels know what man is. But man does not know what man is. Whatever it is God had in mind that made him believe that one man could govern the earth, until we find it, we have not realized the purpose of our existence. And in case you want to begin to scratch to understand a little about what God believes man is to have motivated him to give the whole earth to man. When you study that same book of Genesis, it will give you an idea. And I'm going to show you four things that God put in man that made God believe that man was capable of running the whole earth even if he was one. Does it not shock you that we struggle to to regulate one family? Does it not surprise you that we struggle to regulate one business, a small company, your struggle to control it? Meanwhile, in the eyes of God, any among us here can rule the earth. One is enough. He didn't create many. He created one. One is enough for the earth. Does it not surprise you that we have not known who we are? The question is what did God put in man that gave him that level of confidence and assurance in man?
Number one, let us make man in our own image. He created man to be a replica of himself. Now I hope you know that there are angels that if one of them enter this world, he can take over the earth. You go read Revelation and you'll see that there are some angels that earth has not seen. The Bible spoke of one angel that stood on the earth. One of his foot covered all the waters and not that covered the whole earth. And when the angel shouted, he said onethird of every bed died. If God had created us like angels, that would have been magnificent. But he didn't create us like angels. Now when you enter the community of the godhead, you are going to discover that there is the father, there is the son and there's the holy spirit. If God created us only like the son, that would have been magnificent. If God created us only like the spirit, that would have been glorious. If God created us only like the father, that would have been too super excellent. But guess what God did? He collaborated the dimension of the Holy Ghost. the dimension of the son, the dimension of the father. When he put it together, he now say, "Let us make man in our image." So when you see a man, you are going to see something that looks like the father. You are going to see something that looks like the son. You are going to see something that looks like the holy ghost. So when God gave earth to man, it was not a mistake. Man was the only creature that carries the dimension of the father, the son, and the holy spirit. And God didn't stop there. He went further and added something else.
Number two, he gave man his presence as a token. The Bible said God created a garden in the east side of Eden and there he put the man. When you study the word Eden, Eden is not a place. The word Eden speaks of an open heaven, an opening, a portal where the presence of God dwells. Eden is a doorway. Eden is a dimension. And so when God created the man, he put the man in his presence. That's why when you read the Bible, God does not knock to enter that garden. The Bible said in the cool of the day the voice of God came walking in the garden. When you study the word cool of the day is ruakom. It means moment of the spirit. So in the cool of the day is not morning. In the cool of the day is not afternoon. In the cool of the day is a moment of the spirit. So anytime God wants to manifest, Eden was a natural habitation. So if you found God in Eden, there was no difference from Eden and heaven. So the man was a carrier of divine presence. So when you approach the man, you will actually not touch man. You will touch God. H when you come close to the man, you will sense the presence of God. No wonder Paul said, "Hence forth, no we no man after the flesh because the time has come that we will not feel your aura when we come close to you we will touch divine aura."
Number three, God gave the man his authority. It said in Genesis 1:28, "And God blessed the man, and God said, be fruitful, multiply, replenish, subdue, have dominion." So God gave the man governing authority. Does it not surprise you that no lion thought of eating him? Does it not surprise you that the man, although did not have a building, yet the son could not scotch him? Does it not surprise you that although there were serpents in that garden, not one beat him? Does it not surprise you that there was no earthquake in Eden? Because the man had governing authority over the earth. And God didn't stop there. God planted the tree of life in the garden because God wanted the man to share in the same life that powered God. Because the man already had life. He was not a dead being. The Bible said the life of the flesh, Leviticus 17:11, is in the blood. The man already had blood. So there was already human life. The Bible said God breatheed into his nostrils the breath of life and he became a living soul. Genesis 2:7. So the man already had intelligence. So when the Bible speaks of the tree of life in Genesis 2:9, he wasn't talking intelligence. He wasn't talking animated reality. He was talking divinity manifested through humanity. God wanted the man to be a carrier of God. So the man God created and gave the earth carried God's essence, carried God's authority, carried God's presence, and carried God's life. That was why God could say, "Take the earth, rule over it."
But guess what happened? When Satan saw it, Satan couldn't take it. And so Satan went into the studio of hell and began to study. If there is an entity that models God, how can that entity be destroyed? And the whole research of demons and devils was that the only one who can destroy this man is himself. Because although God has the power, God will not. And we are helpless around him. So the only thing is to get him to destroy himself. And the only way he can self-destruct is through rebellion. Because when God was speaking to the man, God whispered, "The day you eat of this fruit, that means the day you rebel, that day you will die." So God gave the man the key of life and the key of death. And when Satan discovered that the man could kill himself, the agenda of Satan was to get the man to self-destruct. and they followed through with that until they achieved it. Now, when this man fell, he didn't take God by surprise because if God is surprised, then he ceases to be ominisient. So, God was not surprised. In fact, God already had an intervention package before he created the earth. The Bible said Jesus is the lamb that was slain before the foundation of the world. So what did God do when the man fell? God activated the protocol of salvation. First promises, then prophets. And as they declared, they created a way for the Messiah to come. And through to it, according to prophecy, Jesus came, Jesus died, Jesus was buried, and Jesus rose from the dead and restored the man back to where God wanted him to be. So right now you have the authority that Adam lost. That's why Jesus gave you his authority. All power in heaven and on earth has been given to me. You go in that power right now. You have the life that Adam didn't take in Eden. He said, "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life." Right now you have the presence of God because the Holy Ghost has come to live in you and with you forever. And right now you have the essence of God. Him that is joined to the Lord is one spirit with him. So salvation came to give you everything that Adam lost. This is why when Jesus came amongst other things, he was called the last Adam. So what was lost in the first Adam in salvation was brought back in the last Adam.
So every man today has the stature of Adam in the garden and much more. Because the last Adam is greater than the first Adam. He said the first Adam was of the earth. The last Adam is the Lord from heaven. He said the first Adam was a living soul. The last Adam is a quickening spirit. It says as we have borne the image of the first, we must also bear the image of the last. 1 Corinthians 15:45-49. So we are not of the order of the first Adam. We are of the order of the last Adam. So every one of you seated here you are of heaven. Every one of you seated here you carry the quickening spirit. Every one of you seated here you carry the image of the Christ. So as he is so are you in this world. The question is why then have you not accessed dominion? Because the man created his spirit, his soul and his body. What Jesus did was completed in the spirit. The Holy Ghost came to make it a reality of the soul. This is why when you receive Christ, your salvation has been perfected. But your transformation must be done through the Holy Spirit. Because if transformation is not necessary, the Holy Ghost would not have had me to come. And so tonight I want to show you that although you are saved but there is a corruption that is in the soul that if you don't allow the Holy Ghost deal with everything Christ died for you already have but you will not experience because the job was activated by Christ but it is consumated by the Holy Spirit. And when you study the soul of man, there are seven distraction. There are seven corruptions in the soul. This is where the problem of man is. Everybody seated here has the life of Christ. Has the authority of Christ. Has the essence of Christ. Has the presence of Christ. But he will still behave like an animal if the soul is not transformed. This is what the Holy Ghost came to complete. Because there are corruptions still left in your soul as a residue. Until you yield to the word and the spirit, the corruption will not be removed. And if I may very quickly tonight, I will list seven of those major corruption.
Number one is fear. And I'm telling you why Satan see exercise authority over the children of God. If you study Hebrews chapter 2:14 and 15, you are going to discover that one of the weapons of Satan is fear. You know when you were growing up, you were trained to learn fear. Some of us, they told us stories those days that there were demonic spirits in the dark. So as innocent as we were, we adopted that ideology that anywhere there is darkness, there is an evil spirit. And so the moment it goes dark, fear hit our soul. And the problem with fear is that fear makes you relinguish your authority. So Satan is destroyed, sin is destroyed, but fear must be removed. That's why I said he has not given you the spirit of fear so that you don't remain in bondage. So anybody who still has fear still has bondage. 2 Timothy 1:7, "Until you yield to the Holy Spirit, fear will not be removed." Can I tell you why most of us are not fulfilling our destinies? Is the fear of the unknown, highly talented, highly graced, but never able to take any step because fear has crippled them. So they are saved, but they are still in bondage. Until you yield to the Holy Ghost and he removes fear, you will never come to your reality.
Number two, corruption that is in the soul is lust and canality. Why fear keeps you in bondage? Lust and canality makes it impossible for you to access what God has provided. He said in 1 Corinthians 2:12, "We have not received the spirit that is of this world. We have received the spirit that is of God that we may freely know and receive the things given to us by God." He said these things we speak not with words that human wisdom teaches but with words that the Holy Ghost teaches comparing spiritual things with spiritual. He said but the natural man the cannalally minded man receiveth not the things of the spirit of God neither can he know them because they are spiritually discerned. So when people are cannally minded and when we say canner we are not just saying a sinner we are saying you are you think like a natural man. People who function by logic, they think everything is logic. Until it is logical, until it is rational, they will not accept. So they can never enter the realm of faith. And it is a corruption that is in the soul. Everybody who is born of God is expected to be spiritually minded because if you are not spiritually minded, the Bible said you are cannally minded and he say if you are cannally minded, you will live in debt. So the second corruption of the soul is mindedness. That's why the guy goes to business and he thinks that until he cheats somebody he can never prosper. That's why the guy even in ministry he thinks that until he compromises he will never make it. There is something in him that make him not to accept the ways of God. He always wants to do it like a human. And so you find compromise even on the altar. And so God is now limited to lift up a generation. Canal-mindedness is a corruption of the soul.
Number three, corruption of the soul is selfishness and self-centeredness. When you enter this kingdom, the first thing you will discover is that it is all about God. Then it's about others before it's about you. If you alter that protocol, you will discover that your life will end up in corruption. It says, "Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness before other things are added to you." So you cannot come until God comes. You cannot come until others come. The ideology of selfcenteredness has crippled Christianity especially in Africa. That's why miracle services are full but nobody comes for vig. When you are prophesying marriage, when you are prophesying breakthrough, everybody suddenly becomes a man of faith. But when you say let us pray for God's agenda for Enugu, people start sleeping because although they are in church, you think they are vibrant, they are not. Check out those who are praying is drop on their prayer point. Father, give me a car. I must take this land this year. I must get this appointment. Now, God blesses us. He said he has not called the seed of Jacob to seek him in vain. God is not against blessing you. But if you are only at the level where you receive from God, you are a child. There is a realm for sons that their focus is about kingdom agenda. The government of this world shall be upon their shoulder. You come to a level where it is not my will but thine. You come to a level where it is God first. If your Christianity has not brought you to a point where it is God first but you, you are a thief in the church and unfortunately many pastors have raised criminals on the altar. So it doesn't matter how they live their lives so long as they are blessed and they can bring seed. Church is doing well. Many churches are are worse than beer palots. Because when you enter that congregation, you'll be shocked that you have wolves in sheep clothing. If we need a generation to rise, we must get back to dealing with the matters of the soul. And the third corruption of the soul is selfishness. You will be shocked that many people who are in ministry are not here to glorify God. Many people who are in ministry are not here to advance God's kingdom. They have checked and discovered that one of the ways to get relevance is to carry a cas to wear a collar. At least even if you have nothing to show, people will respect you because you are wearing a color. What a shame. We come to use God. You go read your Bible, find out about the great men. The first thing they learned was that they had to give up themselves. Paul said, "Lord, whatever you have me do, I do." Jesus was teaching them prayer. The first word he uttered is our not my father.
Corruption. Me, I, myself. Number four, corruption of the soul is pride. Pride. When a man sees himself outside God, it's about self- glorification. And we have cultures that fertilize it. The moment you have one car, you take a title and you are odogu and then everything becomes like you are so big that people can be offended because you didn't call their name with their titles. I'm not talking about politicians. A man of God. You introduced him, you forgot to say apostle doctor. The anointing will not flow that day because he felt dishonored. Pride and we have built a system to support it. It's corruption. We need deliverance.
Number five, corruption of the soul is wickedness. When people are happy that others fail. where people are happy that others are destroyed and if they are not destroyed quickly they become the architects of their destruction. A Christian was killed recently in America and there was a debate. I'm I'm saying where is our humanity, a young man of 31 was killed before his wife and two children. Assume he's a politician, he's a nationalist. Call him whatever you want. Where is your compassion? And then you hear people trying to to say funny things, funny funny thing. Meanwhile, the person who killed him, they saw his chat with his friend because the guy is a gay and his chat with his friend was that this man is spreading hate against gay people. So he was killed for speaking against transgender and LGBTQ. If that's not a matter, then what's the definition of one? The killer said, "I'm I killed him because he spreading hate against gay." And the church is arguing. Even if he was wrong in one way or the other, how come you were not moved with compassion? You'll be shocked that today ministers will sit down. You think they are planning prayer for revival when you go and check they are plotting how somebody will go down. The day God puts his hand on you that day you have become the devil's advocate. So long as you are a mediocre you are okay. But the moment you rise then a generation will rise against you. Brood of vipers is a corruption. You know why? They think your rising is casting a shadow on them. But see the the sky is too wide. Every bird can fly freely. God has provided more than enough. The rise of one man does not limit you. And if you off one man's candle, it doesn't light yours. In fact, the hope you have for your own candle to be lit is when your neighbor's own is lit. But we are a generation of wicked people. If you are in that place where you celebrate when misfortune happens to people even the ones you call your enemy check yourself quickly something is wrong.
Number six corruption of the soul is religion where even our prayer and service is no longer about God but about ourselves. Either we are trying to reach God to get merit for reaching him or we are trying to create impression to receive the applause of others. Go check out the Pharisees. The Bible said they took pride in praying long. And when they prayed, they stood by street corners to be seen of men. Prayer was no longer about relationship with God. Prayer was no longer about securing divine intervention. Prayer was about having a title that you a prayer warrior. And we have a generation of powerless prayer champions. Everything is reduced to fleshly work. Is a corruption. If we don't allow the Holy Ghost to carry out his surgery on our inside to remove these things, when we reach the end of our journey, we will regret what we did with our lifetime.
Finally, the last corruption of the soul is distraction. You'll find a generation that cannot focus on anything. So that there's a a phrase now they call mindless scrolling. So somebody can carry his phone and just be scrolling for 4 hours. He doesn't know what he's looking for. He's just scrolling down. When it's close to the end, he refreshes and scrolls again. So the grave now is not six feet below. The grave is in our hand. Distraction. I took time to enumerate this to let you know why focus is all important. Because every of the corruption of the soul has its cure. The cure for pride is humidity and brokenness. The cure for wickedness is love. The cure for distraction is focus. And so you have come to a conference where God wants to deal with one of the critical components of corruption in the souls of men. Distraction is a major corruption of the soul. As I get into my message, I want to show you six dangers of destruction. Remember where we are coming from. Man is so precious in the eyes of God. So precious that God gave man the whole earth. But although God has given man earth, man does not have the capacity to govern the earth because the soul is sick. And one of the sickness of the soul is distraction. Now let me show you the power of distraction. What distraction can do to you regardless of who you are in God. You can have the life of God. You can have the authority of Jesus. You can have the presence of God. If you are distracted, you will go nowhere. Every gift and talent is useless in the face of distraction. Some of the most gifted men on earth are the ones who amounted to nothing because they were distracted. It's a dangerous thing to allow your soul to be infested with distraction.
Look at the dangers of distraction. Number one, distraction will cause you to lose your destiny. Many have lost their godgiven destinies because of destruction. Judges 16 verse 20. One of the greatest men that walked on this earth is called Samson. He was distracted on the lap of a harlot and his hair was cut off. His strength was depleted and his eyes were plucked out and ultimately he lost his destiny. If you allow distraction into your life, you are on a journey of losing out completely on your destiny. If you study Genesis chapter 19 26, you see another person who should have had a great destiny, who lost it, the wife of Lot, the instruction was leave the city and don't look back. Whatever it was that couldn't allow her focus on her journey and made her turn back was the reason she became a pillar of salt. The problem was not Sodom. The problem was violation of instruction because the same Sodom that the wife of Lot should not look at, Abraham was looking at it. But Abraham did not receive a command not to look at Sodom. Lot and his family were the ones commanded not to look at Sodom. So the problem was not looking at Sodom. The problem is what was your instruction? The instruction is don't look back to the city. Perhaps she had jewelries that she forgot. Perhaps as she was following the will of God, she remembered the pleasures of Sodom and she told herself, "Does it mean I will no longer enjoy this pleasure?" And one more time became too expensive for her destiny. She only turned once and she never had the opportunity to recover. See there are many turns that most of us have made in life that has robbed us of 20 years of our lives. If we are honest we can tell ourselves it was in 1994 that I turn back and since that time it was never the same again. There are many great men what was their problem? They went to look upon a harlot and somebody saw them and that one day of distraction robbed a great destiny that should have shook the whole world. It is a dangerous thing to allow distraction into your life. If you allow it, it will rob you of your destiny.
Number two, distraction will make you lose your gifts and your inheritances. First Kings 19, First Kings 20:39-4. The prophet told a parable. He went to the king and told him, "My Lord, as I was in battle, a man walked up to me and gave me a servant to keep." He said, "But as I was busy here and there, I lost him." And the king told him, "You have judged yourself. Your life will be taken in exchange of that which you have lost." There are people today that few years ago they were prophetic. If they looked at you and told you tomorrow a door will open. Whether you believe it or not the door will open. If they looked at you and said don't go here, go here and you will prosper. If you go even if they carried your name to a shrine you will still prosper. But 5 years later they have lost it. Precious things are lost by distraction. When Satan shoots distraction in your life, he's either attacking your destiny or he's attacking the things God has committed to you. I know somebody who used to have a very sharp cutting edge utterance. When he's talking, everybody keeps quiet. You must listen. And if you listen, your heart will burn. Few years down the line he started befriending ladies. When you talk he say what do you mean? We are brothers and sisters. Brothers and sisters. Four sisters are cooking every day for you. Brothers and sisters hugging. And you know this is lost at work. But we are brothers and sisters. Give yourself a holy kiss. He gave himself holy kiss until he cast himself out of holiness. And today nobody listens. Have you not gone on the internet before? You see somebody who has 4 million followers and he puts a message online. You see 30 views. Once upon a time the nations listen to him. But he has lost what was inside him that made the nation to listen. So the page still has four million followers who don't care what he's saying. And so he has lost the power to address the nations. Because distraction can rob you of what God has given you. Not because God will take it back, but because your soul cannot ascend to the realm where you operate that gift anymore. Because everything of the spirit is at a height. It's when your soul ascends that you touch it. But when you become distracted, it becomes difficult to climb up and function from Zion.
Number three danger of distraction is that distraction opens the door to sin. 2 Samuel 11 verse 1-2. The Bible said in the days that king went to war, David sat at his balcony wandering around and he looked upon a a naked woman. That was when the crisis and calamity of his family began from. If he had gone to war, if he was not on the balcony looking around, he wouldn't have ended up in immorality. You look at yourself every evening, you say, "H, let's go and sit on that street." That same street where there's a bapalo. That same street where harots are moving on the streets. That same street where they are playing every worldly song. That's where you want to take fresh air. A point will come. You will say, "Let's look at what is even happening inside there." and then you go to look at they will carry you out in the coffin. No sin begins as sin. Every sin started on a slippery slope that men foolishly stood on and they realized they couldn't stand and they were drawn into it.
Number four danger of distraction is that distraction makes you to lose opportunities and divine visitation. Oh, when I studied about the man at the pool of Bethesda, I wept. So what could be addressed in one day, somebody can look for it for 38 years. That means time is not the issue. It is you missing Kaius moments that is the issue. That thing that man suffered for 38 years. He had no business suffering for 38 years. But you know what his problem was? When the water is teared, he could not enter. Do you notice that even when Jesus came to him, he almost missed that opportunity? Jesus asked him, "Son, will thou be made whole?" What is the answer? "Yes, Lord." He entered stories. He started talking, "I have no man. When the water is dead, there's nobody to carry me. Somebody enters before I enter." And he was talking. Jesus had to shut him up. So you discover the man did not miss the water because there was nobody. He missed the water because he was distracted. He couldn't discern the moment of visitation. And if you miss your visitation, your life ends up in calamity. In Luke 19:44, the Bible said Jesus wept over the city. And what was his cry? He said, "You do not know the time of your visitation." There are many people who are looking at me here that have had more opportunities than the greatest men in this country. Abraham Lincoln said I will study and wait. He said the opportunity will come. You give yourself to distraction. I knew I know a young man those days in the university sir. Even when we are writing exam, this guy will play pestimony proevolution. So, and then he will come to class and be looking for who to copy from. This was a very intelligent young man. In fact, his father was a senior director somewhere. He would have given him a job with ease. But the guy wasted his opportune moment on top of video game. And then you ask many naive young people, they say, "Is it a sin?" No, it's not a sin. But when you continue after a while, you will serve your genius because you will pay for your distraction. You know the way life works is that we are we live in cycles. Some of us our cycles are three years, some is 5 years, some is 7 years, some is 10 years. Satan does not come every time. He waits for your kyus moment. So you can be you can be fasting 40 days fast every 3 three months you are doing it year one one year passes two years pass when you come into the fifth year that is your year of visitation then Satan begins to plot traps suddenly you go to work they show you a juicy opportunity and say all you need to do is to add two zeros and we will share the money. Suddenly somebody calls you and and you you you check which number is this and they say ah ah is Victor have you forgotten me where were you 4 years ago that is where one linda will call you from nowhere and say I'm in town is this the first time you are coming to town and then one moment of distraction will waste the four years of preparation and then your life becomes an abomination a point will come even you will be tired of living because life will become a plague. Not because God does not love you, not because God does not care, but because you have lost too many opportunities. And so a point comes, even you give up on life. Ask those you see making impact. They will tell you they were not the best. If they are honest, they will always tell you a friend that was more gifted. They will always tell you a friend that was more anointed. They will always tell you a colleague that was more intelligent but why did they come they remain focused many times I fear for gifted people they are always never stable and then you check after 10 years 15 years 20 years the people you call average they end up emerging as leaders you know why they know that they don't have too much advantage so they maximize their life the ones who think come on they know everything. They waste their lives and life becomes a riddle. They sit down. They see the people they taught. They see the people they imparted. They see the people they raised. All of a sudden they in front and they are wondering how did I end here? One of the reasons is that you lost opportunities. When those windows open, may God grant you grace to discern it.
Dangers of distraction. Number five, distraction leads to waste wasted time and energy. People who are distracted, they waste their time and their energy. And when you ask them, they cannot account for it. Don't go too far. Ask yourself, what did you do with today? This same today that we are talking about somebody heard God clearly today somewhere I receive a direction for destiny. This same today that we are talking about somebody made a billion dollars. This same today that we are talking about somebody completed a project. This same today that we are talking about somebody traveled to a place and opened a door for somebody. If you were to give an account of today, what will you use to justify today? Because when you hear messages like this, it's quick to start looking around people that you think are failures. If you are not careful, you will be failure in motion. Your own manifestation has not just come. The same today that some of us cannot point at anything we have done. There were people who have there are people who have done 10 things that either imparted somebody imparted a nation or imparted their own lives. If you cannot point anything that you have done today that either imparted you or imparted somebody or gave glory to God, you wasted today. What that means is that in your age today is zero. You know what God taught me many years ago? He told me people wake up and say I'm 40. Some people that are saying they are 40 years they actually 9 years old. And the Lord told me he said for instance if you sleep from 8:00 p.m. and wake up by 8:00 a.m. you have slept for 12 hours. It means you didn't have 24 hours. Now out of the 12 hours that remain, there are some people who watch movie for 4 hours and then they go to visit their friends for 2 hours. Another 6 hours have wasted. They have wasted 18 hours. The remaining 6 hours they ate food. They took a nap. So in 24 hours maybe they utilized 1 hour and so somebody who is using 1 hour in 24 hours he is 40 years old you ask him say I'm 40 you are not 40 sir you are using 1 hour in 24 hours you know what that means is in every 24 days that you have one day so when you are 24 years old you actually one year old When you are 48 years old, you are 2 years old. That's why when you look at them, they can't do anything. At 40, they don't have direction. At 40, they need their father to send them money. At 40, they are complaining the country is too hard because they are not 40, sir. They are 12 years old. They wasted energy. They wasted time. Meanwhile, this is me being kind because if you are to compare, if you are to count the first six years of their life, what did they do? They always spend the whole 6 months of your life sleeping and eating. The first 3 years of your life, if you are intelligent, you are learning what? So acute learning actually begins from 5 years old. So even the first five years of their life is not counted. So don't count people by their age. Count them by their impact. Because the proof of how old they are is in their impact. That's how much investment they've had with their time and their energy. Am I being too hard? Okay, let me encourage you. I want to prophesy. It's like this message. You don't like it. You see a young lady, she's praying. She's praying. I'm 35. God, why? God, why? Why am I not married? Madam, you are counting a wrong age. You are not 35. You are 9 years old. Because this lady who is angry with God that she's 35, there's no husband. She can't cook. This 35 year lady does not know respect. If you ask her who is a wife, she has no idea. All she has that she's arguing on the altar of prayer is age 35 35 and they checking. Madam you are thinking like nine. So if God gives you a husband now the husband will have to train you for another 10 years. So the first 10 years of the family the man is carrying load on his head because he's raising a 9year-old in a big body. And there are some men who are 40. All they have is a big chest from a gym. [Music] They cannot make any positive contribution to destiny. They are not responsible. They cannot even provide one meal a day. No value to show. And then when you meet
Them, they say this country is not easy. Imagine I'm 40 years old. See my life. Who told you you are 40?
>> You are 80 years old, sir. Hey aha. Aha. Ah. Hey.

Sit down for a moment. I'm just showing somebody why his prayers are not answered. Cuz when God wants to answer the prayer, he puts you in the school of maturity. Say I can't commit what you are looking for to a 9-year-old. Grow up. When you are 19, we will think about it. And then to grow from 9 to 19, it will take him another 30 years. So when you study life critically, some people's one year is 10 years and some people's one year or some people's 10 years is one year. What the person should learn in 10 years, that's what he's learning in one year. And there's another person that what he should learn in one year is what he's learning in 10 years. So while some people are moving fast, some are slowing down. That's the irony of destiny.
And you know the problem with those who are not managing time, they are offended at those who manage their own time. So when they come to you and need and ask for help and you don't help, they are angry. Somebody came to my house and knocked on my gate last month. And when they told me somebody was at the gate, I checked and I saw I've not seen this brother for 19 years. 19 years. They said he came into the country from Ghana. How he got my address, only heaven knows. And when he came, what is he looking for? I should give him accommodation in Abuja. I said that's not where to start this conversation from. At least let's find out what you have been doing in the last 19. I don't know what you are doing.
>> I've not, as far as, as it stands now, I don't know you. Yes sir.
>> So even what if I accommodate you today and police comes tomorrow that we are looking for a kidnapper? I don't know you. We have not spoken. We have not greeted for 19 years. And he came and said I must give him a house today. I said wait, wait, wait. Let's, let's understand what you have been doing. Take this money, go and get a hotel first. Be there, be thinking and praying. Let's talk from a distance. Let's talk from a distance. 19 years is too far to just give you a house. Wait, let's be talking. Guess what? The guy will send me message eight times, nine times in a day. I'm unable to help him. Why don't I want to help him? I say, oh, that means in 19 years you have not been growing. If you have been growing, you will know life is not like that. That you are offended means you have been doing something. When we now probe, we say, "Oh, sorry, he was doing Yahoo in Ghana." Uh-huh. Now you are talking what you have been using your time for. So if it's Yahoo, we need to do rehabilitation first. And rehabilitation will take 6 months. So join the prayer team. Start praying for 2 hours every day. Attend Bible study. Let's, let the word of God work in you first. Otherwise, it will be danger to come. We have to build walls.
Sometimes people don't grow. If a child begs you for food and you say wait, he starts crying. He's angry at you. As far as he's concerned, when he says food, food must come. My children are learning how to speak now. One is one year four months. Sometimes he just wakes up from bed and says water. If you don't have a, a, a bottle of water immediately and give him in 3 seconds, he starts crying and he's angry because he just woke up. He says water, water must come. There are times when he wakes up, he says food, food. If he says it three times and you don't rush quickly, if there's no food around, get golden milk, get milk fast. He will start crying. He will start crying. You have to beg him to stop. So you are partying. You are begging and pleading with him to stop crying, to eat. He doesn't know how food came. As far as he's concerned, whether you work or you don't work, food. Whether you cook or you don't cook, food. If there's no food, he has the right to be angry. That's the reason why some of your relatives are angry at you. They say you are wicked. You are not wicked. They are lazy.

They were robbed by a power called distraction. May God deliver you from distraction tonight. The cure to distraction is focus. Now, what is focus? Focus is the ability to channel your attention and your energy on a predetermined purpose. The ability to channel your attention, your energy, and if I may, your resources on a predetermined cause. When we speak of a man who is focused, we are speaking of a man who has developed the capacity to channel. Listen, I know some of you are moved when we talk about encounters, when we talk about power. These things are very vital. It's not just power, power, encounter, anointing. You can be anointed and be useless. You can be full of power and be useless. These things we teach is what separates two believers into cadres. Don't discover it when your life is finished. Everybody who wants to be relevant in life must develop the power to channel attention, energy, and resources on a predetermined cause or purpose. If you don't have that ability, you lack focus. And if you are not focused, you will never fulfill destiny.
What is the power of focus? Or what does focus do for you? What does focus achieve for you? Number one, focus helps you to complete assignments. One of the frustrations of many people, and great people if I may, is the fact that they can start but they can't finish. How you start does not matter. In fact, somebody can start many things but they may never be able to finish anyone. People don't rate you based on what you start. People rate you based on what you finish. Even Jesus was speaking. He said, "Which is that man who wants to build a tower and does not first of all sit down to count the cost?" He said, "That man actually starts but is unable to finish." And he says, "Men laugh at him and they say he happily started but never finished." So you see some people, even at the age of 70, they are starting something. Now, it's not wrong to start at 90. But the question is, how many have you finished before you got here? They taught us many years ago that the end justifies the means. The power to complete is the power of focus. It doesn't take anointing to complete. Anointing is important. It doesn't take prayer to complete. Prayer is important. It takes focus to complete. If you don't have focus, you can pray. You can be anointed. But believe me, you will not complete anything. Because the ability to complete requires stamina. In fact, if you pray, one of the things prayer will do for you is to help you have focus. That's why those who pray, they hear and they see because it's going to give you focus so that many things don't distract you.
The power, look at the story of Nehemiah. In Nehemiah chapter 6, we saw that two men called Sambalat and Tobias made up their mind that Nehemiah will never finish. But in Nehemiah 6:3, when Nehemiah was on the Torah, they told him to come down. They wanted to argue with him. He said, "No. I have an assignment." He remained there and he never came down. In verse 15 of that same scripture, we heard that Nehemiah built the gate of Jerusalem in 52 weeks. 52 weeks. If he was coming down arguing with the people who were contending with him, they would have been building Jerusalem till today. But in 52 weeks, he finished his assignment. Most of you, God has given you great visions that should have changed the world. But you never finished anyone. You entered the school of process. You violated the class of prayer. You violated the class of consecration. You violated the class of character. Every class you start but you never finish. And so when you now enter destiny, there are too many gaps in your destiny that show that you never went through process. The power to finish. The power to finish.
You know, we are looking for new things. Oh, new anointing, new impartation, another conference, another encounter. Some of us, the mantles on our shoulders are more than 50. You have caught the mantle of Kathine Kumman. You have caught the mantle of Amy Sent Mfasen. You have caught every mantle of every woman, woman general, the mantle of Deborah, the mantle of Esther. They are all on your neck. You have the mantle of Benin Dosa. You have the mantle of William Brana. You have all the mantles. Even the mantle of Paul is on you. But you have not been able to finish anything. You now discover that if you are not careful, the mantles will become too heavy. Many times, what we need is not another impartation. It's not another mantle. Some of you listening to me now, you need to go back and remember the instruction God gave you 5 years ago. The reason you have not heard or seen God till today is because you have not kept that instruction. If God will move you to the next level, you must pay attention to what he told you before.
See the mindset of Jesus in John 4:34. Jesus said, "My food is to do the will of him that sent me and to finish his works. To finish." He knew the power of focus. I must not just do, but I must finish. So he didn't make him part because he's Jesus. You would think Jesus just made him pack by default because, come on, is Jesus not the son of God? Go and check Jesus's life. From the beginning to the end, there was dogged focus. In Luke 2:49, at the age of 12, Jesus was at the temple. They were looking for him. He said, "Why are you looking for me? Don't you know I should be about my Father's business?" At 12, as if that's not enough. In John 9:4, he said, "I must work the work of him that sent me while it is day. The night cometh when no man can work." So every day, Jesus had a quota of assignment he must finish. As if that's not enough, in John 5:36, he said, "The work the Father has given to me to finish, the work that I do, they bear witness of me." So he was focused from the beginning to the end. And in John 18:37, even before Pilate, he said, "For this cause was I born, for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth." So Jesus did not just have impact because he's Jesus. There were principles he followed. One of it is focus.
See, some of you need to leave the many things you are doing that you never finish anyone. Sit on one and say, "Me too, I must finish something today. Me too. I must finish something in my life." When you are able to finish one, then you can start finishing others. When we were growing up as children in Benway state, there was a man that had a big name. Out of respect, I won't call it. Sir, everywhere you drive, you will see a project with the man's name. There is hospital, there is school, everywhere. But no one ever finished because there's no focus. There's no focus. The power of focus is in the fact that focus grants you the capacity to accomplish and to complete projects.
Number two, focus produces strength and endurance. As you run through life, you are going to discover that there are many battles. There is the fight for purity. There is a fight for holy living. There is a fight to advance kingdom. There is a fight to stand for truth. There is a fight for self-development. There are many battles. Whether you will have endurance is dependent on the quality of your focus. In Hebrews 12:2, the Bible spoke of Jesus. He said, "For the joy that was set before him, he endured the cross and he carried the shame." When you find people who don't have tenacity, you find people who don't have capacity to endure, it's not because they are weak. They are very strong. The problem is that they are not focused. When you zoom into an assignment, that assignment has a way of energizing you. Jesus endured the cross not because he was Jesus. He endured the cross because he focused on the joy that was set before him. He focused on the glory that was set before him. So while he was on the cross, there was strength. Any man who has vision will finish strong. But the Bible said where there is no vision, the people perish.

If you want to learn one of the secrets of power, be focused. Be focused. See, go and sit down, write down what is my life about. Zoom into it. You'll be shocked the way you'll be energized. Some of the things we do sometimes, myself, I sit down and I wonder where is this energy coming from. I preached last night in Abakaliki, preached this morning. In fact, I left the altar and drove straight here and I'm preaching here now. I'm preaching in Akura tomorrow. I'm preaching in in in Abuja on Sunday. On Monday, I'm on my way to South Africa. On Thursday, I'll be back to Manchester and it's back to back to back to back. And every time you come, there's strength. It's not because we are young. There are many young people who can't even wake up in the morning. It's because you are burning with a vision. So long as that thing is in you and you are focused on it, that thing will give you energy. If I tell you my schedule in the last two weeks, you will shout. I was in Casablanca in Morocco. I was in Paris in France. I was in Berlin in Germany. I was in London three times. And I just came from Australia preaching back to back to back. Some of the journeys is 14 hours non-stop in the air. And you come down, you are like a rock. >> Because the things my friends do, I don't do it. I don't have time to watch football. It is not a sin, but where I'm going does not permit it. I don't have energy for dear friend because where I'm going, it does not permit it. I don't have energy to play games where I'm going does not permit it. I don't have, as you see me now, you, you can't catch me on a call talking for 30 minutes. No, there's no time. If I have to pick a call, it must be saved in my phone. If your number is not saved on my phone, the only thing that can pass through is a message. If you call my phone and your number is not saved, it will show busy by itself. If I don't have your number, send me a message. If I pick it and I see that our destiny resonates and we are going in the same direction, I will call you back. And then if that is the case, I will save the number. And there's nobody under heaven that I will be on a call with for 30 minutes, unless you are spiritual authority. If you call me after one, one to to to to 10 seconds of greeting, we are fine. All of us and the ministry is doing well. Don't ask me about my father, my wife, my first son, my second son, and how is the ministry? How are the branches? All of us are doing very well. Thank you for asking. I'm grateful. Then the question is, what is happening? Those who know me will tell you, if I, if you, if I pick, I say, "Yeah, what's happening?" If nothing is happening, then "Hope you are fine. We give God praise. Okay, we, by the mercies of God, we will connect. There's no time, sir. There's no time. There's no time." Some people carry their phone. They're looking for who to call. "Matter, how are you? That food, that are you still cooking that soup you used to cook?" That's a man who wants to change the world. He will call another one. "Now, turn for you, are you still in this world?" If he's no more in this world, you will know that you don't know. Means he's still in this world. So leave him and do what will develop your life. I'm not saying don't have time for friends. No, that's not what I'm saying. What I'm saying is that don't tolerate operate too much nonsense. It's wasting your energy.
Number three, focus brings clarity. Clarity. Clarity. You know why? After a while, the vision becomes obscured and and and blurry is because you are not focused on it. When you become focused, it becomes clear. He says, "Write the vision. Make it plain upon table that he may run that reads it." So you can run when you focus on it. In Matthew 6:22, Jesus said, "If your eye is single," he says, "your whole body will be full of light." So it becomes clearer as you focus. If you don't focus, it will become blurry. "If your eyes be single, your whole body will be full of light." "In all your ways acknowledge him, he will direct your path." When a man loses focus, his vision becomes blurry. His conviction begins to die. And the things he was running with with fire a few months ago, they no longer make sense to him. That's why you see somebody who was very aggressive about prayer, suddenly the prayer meetings becomes hard. You know what happens? The vision has become blurry. So he can't find the necessity anymore. If you find a man who is running, see, see our father at 86, he still stands on the altar preaching the same message. Because of focus, clarity is not a prayer point. That's the power of focus. If you find anybody who is focused, he doesn't mistake his vision. Wake him up in the night, he knows where he's going. He knows the stage where he is on that vision. That's why they make impact. Those who make impact don't pray for impact. The way they live their lives, they must arrive at impact. There are many Christians today who believe you must have a very special encounter. An angel must appear to you. God should talk from heaven. "My son Peter, I've given you the nation." There are few people God operates with like that. You don't need that to change your destiny. I tell people, encounter is when God comes to you. But in case God does not come, there's another technology of meeting God. It's called prayer. Prayer is when you go to God. So you don't need an encounter where an angel appears to you to fulfill destiny. We were listening to Dagawward Muse recently. And he said no angel appeared to him. He just read his Bible and heard, "Do the work of an evangelist." And he started. At the time we were talking, he had done massive crusades in 54 nations. There was too much focus for him not to be impactful. There are many people that angels have appeared to who are failures. Because they don't have focus. This is one of the critical components that is missing in the body of Christ.
Number four, focus ultimately procures multiplication and fruitfulness. When a man is focused, he must be fruitful. But when a man is not focused, even the one he has, he loses it. I quoted first Kings already, chapter 20:39 to 40. "I was busy here and there. What I was giving, I lost it." But the guy who is focused, what he has, he multiplies. Jesus said in John 15:5, "If you focus on me, if you abide in me," he said, "you will bring forth much fruit." And he said, "Your fruit shall abide." So focused people are fruitful people. Anything you don't pay attention to, you will be foolish to assume it will grow. For anything in your life to multiply, you must pay attention to it. What fruitfulness feeds on is attention. If you are not focused, you can never be fruitful. Meanwhile, all of us have the capacity for fruitfulness. Why some are not? It's not because of Satan. Don't give Satan too much credit. Some of you who are accusing Satan, Satan doesn't even know you are existing. It's when you accuse him that they, they reported to him. Somebody is saying, "You have robbed him of his destiny." And Satan said, "You have not appeared on our calendar. We didn't know you are there." But now that you have said it, let's add you and take the glory. Your problem is that you focus on nothing. If you were focused, you would have been fruitful.
And finally, when you are focused, your life will command reward in eternity. Jesus was focused. At the end of his life, he passed the test of the cross. And when he resurrected, the Bible said God gave him a name that was above every name. In Hebrews 12:2, he said, "For the joy that was set before him, he endured the cross." So it took focus for him to go through the cross. And because he went through the cross, when he resurrected, God exalted him, gave him a name that was above every other name. Every focused individual will not just make impact in this life. Even in the world to come, he will have a place. Paul said, "I have fought a good fight. I have kept the faith. I have finished my course. There is laid up for me a crown of righteousness." First Timothy 4:7 and 8. He was focused on his on his assignment. He knew when he finished. And because he finished, he knew there was a crown of righteousness. His focus, it commands reward.
See, at the end of your life, two things will matter. Two. When you look back, whether there will be fulfillment. And when you look forward, whether there will be reward. If you don't find these two things at the end of your life, your whole life will pass before you in the second, and it will be misery. But for you to get to the end of your journey, look back and have fulfillment, look forward and have reward, you must have been focused on your calling. If you are not focused, you will not end up with reward and fulfillment.
Now, as I round up, what do you focus on? Number one, you focus on God and his kingdom.

Your focus on God and his kingdom. The Bible said in Matthew 6:33, "Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and it says all these things that the Gentiles seek shall be added to you." You need to understand what to focus on and the priority in the things you focus on. Some of us have not yet focused on God. We have focused on our businesses. There must be priority. And in the scale of things, God and his kingdom comes first. What that means is that every day of your life, you seek his face. And every day of your life, you seek to participate in kingdom advancement. Tell yourself, I'm in Enugu now. There must be something Jesus is doing in this land that I'm playing a part in. I can't just be in this land and I'm hearing revival, I'm hearing, and I'm not part of it. It means your presence means nothing. Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness. Right standing with him. He says all the things that people are chasing, he said they will chase you. He said, "Looking unto Jesus." Hebrews 12:3, "the author and the finisher of your faith." Hebrews 12:1, "Looking onto Jesus." You have to focus on the Lord. It says, "If you say you are dead and you are risen and your life is hid in Christ," he says, "set your affection on the things above where Christ is." We are a generation that the last thing in our gaze is God. We only remember God when we have problem. That's why one of the biggest blessings of this generation is problem. As bad as problem is, if there's no problem today, some people will not remember God exists. We never focus on him. When you talk about kingdom, "Thy kingdom come," church house. You call for a miracle service, auditorium will be packed. But say, "We are going for evangelism," a church of 2,000 will reduce to 12. And you are wondering, "Where are they?" Because kingdom and God means nothing to them. God, as far as they are concerned, is only there to be used so that they can be blessed. That's not Christianity. That's a scam in a religious government. Seek first the kingdom. Seek first his righteousness. That's what you focus on.
Number two, what do you focus on? Focus on your calling. "Before you were formed in your mother's womb, I knew you. I ordained you to be a prophet." Every one of us seated here, God has a personal assignment for us. If you have not discovered it, you have not started living. And if you are not fulfilling it, you are living, but you are a dead man walking.

I spend almost 90% of my time on my calling. If I'm not praying, I'm fasting. If I'm not fasting, I'm studying. If I'm not studying, I'm preaching somewhere. Those who live around me will tell you I invest more than 90%. So the little thing God is doing in our life is not being biased. It is a product of investment in God and what he has put on our lives. You are not disadvantaged. Find your call. Pour yourself into it. You'll be shocked what will happen in your life in 3 months. You will be so amazed that things will break out of you that even you never knew they existed. Find your calling. Focus on it. Jesus said, "I must work the work of him that sent me while it is day." So he's living for that assignment. He said, "The work the Father has given to me to finish, the same work which I do every day." Be about your calling. And listen, not all of us will preach on the altar. Some of us are apostles to the market. Some of us are apostles to government. But while you are in the market, while you are in government, you need to know your assignment there and invest yourself into it. Somebody was a politician in Nigeria but he knew he needed to bring liberty to twins and he fought for a law that twins should not be murdered. So he was not just having influence in politics, he knew his role. And till today, any twins that is alive fulfilling destiny will the credit will be ascribed to that person. What is your calling? Find it. What are you doing? See how many we are. You will be lost in the crowd. What will make you stand out is your calling. You don't care about my face. You don't care about my dress. You don't care where I come from. You don't care whether I'm handsome or ugly. The reason my name makes any sense to you is because I'm fulfilling my calling. The day I stop doing this thing I'm doing, if you hear my name, it means nothing to you. So you don't love me. You may not realize it, but you don't. You may not realize it, but you don't care about me. You love what God is doing with me and you care about what God is doing with me. I heard this for the first time from Dr. Mismoro. He said, "Look at how ugly I look. You think you love me?" He said, "If I were your family, you'd be ashamed of calling me your brother." He said, "The reason you think you love me is because of what I'm doing." This some of us who think that nobody cares about us, the whole world will care about you if you find your calling. The whole world. You will enter a city, the city will shut down not because you came, but because of what you are doing and they are expecting to receive.

Find your calling. Stop looking for attention. Invest in your calling. The nation will seek you. That's how God designed it.
Number three, what do you focus on? Focus on holy living and transformation. Don't remain what you you were yesterday. Every day of your life, make sure that you are transformed. Make sure you become more like Christ. That's what should define your pursuit. Because at the end of the day, it's not about what we do. It's about who we are. He said to them that believe, he gave power not to do miracles. They will eventually do miracles. He gave power not to preach the gospel, they will eventually preach the gospel. He said to them that believe, he gave power to become the sons of God. "We all with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, we are changed." If every day of your life, you are not becoming like Christ, you are not living, you are dying. When we say people are living, you need to know the difference. You are not living because you are breathing. Even a goat is breathing. You are living because you are becoming like Christ day by day. The day you stop becoming like Christ, you begin to die. So while you are on earth, invest in becoming like Christ. Stay with the word of God. Stay in prayer. Let God reveal himself to you. And as God shows himself to you, you will be transfigured from glory to glory, from grace to grace, from power to power. How can you say you are a Christian? You have been fornicating for 10 years.

The same condition from campus 1995. You called it a weakness. Now you are married. You still have that weakness. Something is wrong with you. How can you say you are a Christian? Your tongue has been lying for 25 years and you are calling it a weakness. It's not a weakness. That's who you are. You are a liar. And until you focus on transformation, if you like, become a piece of you didn't grow, you only did politics because even in church, there's politics. "We all with unveiled face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, we are changed."
As I round up, number four, focus on eternal things. This world will not end here. If you think life begins and ends from birth date to death date, you were deceived. When you leave this body, you will enter another civilization. This world does not end here. So while you are here, be thinking about where you are going. Paul was speaking. He said, "Our light affliction," 2 Corinthians 4:17 and 18, "are but for a moment. They work for us an exceeding weight of glory." He said, "While we look not at the things which are seen but at the things that are unseen." He said, "For the things which are seen, they are temporal. The things that are unseen, they are eternal." The problem with us is that we are only focusing on this life. That's why you will lie to succeed here. That's why you will steal to succeed here. But if you know that this life is a preparation for another life, you will live this life as an investment so that in the life to come, you'll be relevant. I tell people, salvation will take you to eternity, but it's your works that will give you a place in eternity. That's why in salvation, we are equal, but in kingdom, we are separated into cases. What is the level of investment you are putting into eternity? Jesus said, "Don't lay up treasures for yourself only in this life where thieves can steal from and where moths can enter to destroy." He said, "Lay up for yourself treasures in heaven." Focus on eternity. Focus on eternity. Focus on eternity.
And then finally, focus on your family. Daddy has already dealt with that. There are two institutions in this world that Satan attacks the most. It is your biological family and the church. You know why? Your family teaches you values. The church teaches you the ways of God. And these are the two things that destroy Satan's kingdom. He doesn't want you to know God, and he doesn't want you to have values. So he wants to destroy the family and destroy the church. So when I say family, I speak of your natural family and your spiritual family. Focus on it. Give time to your family. Love your family. Develop your family. And then give time to God's house. Serve there. Put your values there. Let God's house grow because you are present. If you do this, your life will be consequential both in time and in eternity. This is the glory of focus. Distraction is a disease of the soul. But focus is a power that gives you an advantage with God so that you accomplish destiny. Whether you are young or old, it does not matter. But this is what will make you relevant both in this life and in the life that is to come. If you do these things I'm telling you, believe me, even your career, you will succeed in it. Your business, you will succeed in it. All of those things are added, they are byproducts. You cannot fail in them. This is how God designed it.
I want to pray for someone. This is a conference where many fathers of faith are ministering. I just came here to give you my own little quota. And I pray that God will help you to remember the things that I've shared so that it will impact your life and impact it positively. I pray for someone here tonight. Anything Satan has robbed you of through distraction, I stand in faith with God's servant and I decree restoration in the name of Jesus Christ. Anything you have lost on account of distraction, I stand under this anointing and I decree in the name of Jesus, it is restored now. And anything you have failed to become because you wasted your season of development by reason of distraction, I speak speed and acceleration in the name of Jesus Christ.

And in the name of the Lord Jesus, anything that will make you end up in regret, by the power of the Holy Spirit, I decree that you are navigated from it. At the end of your life, find fulfillment. At the end of your life, qualify for reward in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The anointing that establishes, the anointing that accomplishes God's agenda in a man's life. Even the measure of which I have experienced, I decree now, let it rest upon someone.

I want to lay hands on you because God wants to give you speed right now. Wherever you are standing, as surely as the Lord God liveth, whom I serve and whose I am, the same God that has accelerated my destiny, I decree and declare, let that hand that lifts men up, let it come upon you now.
