Hey guys, Dr. Morris, injury experts. So, we finally get a really good game from the Eagles offense. AJ Brown, we get a really good game from Dvont Smith. Jaylen Herz decides to finally stop running and throw the ball and it looked beautiful.
Unfortunately, AJ Brown strained his hamstring. And as a result, not only did he miss yesterday, Wednesday, but he also missed today, Thursday's practice. So, if this is a true acute hamstring strain from week seven, the odds of him playing in week eight are very low.
Now, they're not impossible as we just saw EMCA Ibuka do it. But the majority of players who suffer an acute hamstring strain miss at least one game, sometimes up to three, and some of the older guys or the grade twos miss. That's what we just saw with George KD and Aaron Jones who's coming back tonight.
With that being said, uh we don't have specifics. All we know is that he did not practice yesterday which may have been a veteran day and he did not practice today Thursday. Now if he doesn't practice today uh Friday tomorrow then I'm assuming he's not playing.
Either way this is a big bump up for Data Smith and Dallas God who I think is dealing with a calf issue in his own right. U so in general not the best news for AJ Brown and AJ Brown owners after a finally possible breakout game or at least some signs of life. Now he's dealing with an injury which he is not exactly immune to. So we'll keep an eye on this. as of right now.
If he does not practice on Friday, I am essentially saying I don't think he's going to play. If he does practice in some limited capacity, maybe there's a window of opportunity. I don't think I would probably start him either way. He's just not the worth the risk and he really just hasn't done a whole lot uh because the offense is what it is and it predominantly runs the ball. Uh but this week you might not have a choice because of all the other guys on buys and injuries. So, but he's more of a flex if he ends up playing in week eight than anything.
