The Green Party is surging in the UK, and that should worry you. On the surface, their ideas can sound reasonable to the unsuspecting voter. But once you see the agenda behind the slogans, their plan to ruin the economy as we know it. And when you understand their links to Gary economics, you'll understand why this party needs to be exposed and stopped quickly. So, let's objectively look at their policies and break them down.
Firstly, they want to have a political revolution, they call it. They want to abolish the House of Lords. They want to get rid of the Church of England from the state. They hate the idea of the royal family and the monarchy. Basically, everything that makes Britain Britain, they hate. I'm proud of Britain being a Christian country, even if it's not acting like it. And having a royal family and championing entrepreneurs and businesses makes Britain Britain. They want to get rid of all our nuclear weapons and deterrent. And they want to rejoin the EU immediately.
They want a 4-day work week as standard. And we've seen this introduced in many councils already, which, in my opinion, is ridiculous. I mean, the councils are already extremely slow and have been for years. So now saying that now it's a 4-day work week, it's just making things worse. And imagine how much slower the NHS would be if doctors and nurses suddenly were only working 4 days a week. I mean, my opinion is it's it's ludicrous.
But what's even more ludicrous is they want to enforce that all companies in the UK have a 10:1 pay ratio cap. That means that the highest paid employee in the company can only earn 10 times more than the lowest paid, which you might think, "Yeah, that's fair." But what that actually does is that caps the high earners. The bottom people get paid more. That's just going to mean that the top people are paid less. Now, people that are poorminded will go, "Yeah, that's brilliant." Because they don't identify with the top earners. They don't identify with the top 1%. They don't identify with the winners, with the people that strive to be the top performers, the high performers. They're like, "No, no, no. We're never going to be a high performer, so let's drag them down." Let me tell you something. You will never help the poor by pulling down the rich.
For example, there's people in my company, and I've got about 60 employees, and some of them are making £40-50,000 per month. Now, if a 10:1 ratio pay cap was enforced into the business as an employer, what would I do? Would I say, "Oh, these guys that are making £50,000 a month, in order to continue paying them so well, let's pay the cleaners a bit more." Or would we say to these top performers, "Sorry, there's now a 10:1 ratio. Unfortunately, we're going to have to cap your pay now at £40,000 a month or whatever it is." I mean, even if we capped the top performing people, they don't want to be capped. They want to know that if they bring enough value, they can make £100,000, they can make £150,000 a month. That's how top performers think.
So what this will do is not only will it force businesses and wealthy people outside of the country, like we see happen every 2 minutes when a millionaire leaves the UK, but now it's going to push out the best employees, the best workers, the what we call entrepreneurs. They're people that are really innovative, that drive companies forward, but don't necessarily own the company. And these people can earn the most money. They can earn more than entrepreneurs. These people will suddenly say, "Actually, you know what? Let me go to the UAE. Let me go to America. Let me go to Cyprus." And they'll leave.
And what will happen is suddenly then there's less taxes because the more money that's made in the UK, the more taxes are paid to the UK government, which means the better the NHS service, which means the better the roads, which means less potholes, which means that we have Great Britain, we have a first-world country. But not only will they leave and we'll have less money, but also the NHS and the workers that are helping get rid of the potholes are now ONLY WORKING 4 DAYS a week. So suddenly we have a third-world country. That's what's happening.
And we're seeing this happen. We've seen this with Labour. Labour, who are anti-business, hitting entrepreneurs with higher taxes, bringing in legislation, being a pain in the neck, basically, for entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs. We've seen as a direct result Britain having a worse standard of living. So all of the stuff the Green Party are talking about doing, which is going to help the working people, which is going to help the poor people, actually the very people that think they're being helped will be hurt. So their economic plans around business, I think, will worsen the economy massively.
But where things get really dark is their plans for property, and this is where I get really annoyed. I mean, firstly, they want to ban all buy-to-let mortgages. So, yeah, I mean, let's just, you know, rewrite the entire banking system as we know it. Do you have any idea the catastrophic effects if we were to just ban all buy-to-let mortgages? And not only that, but they want to bring in excessive rent control ideas, which will just bleed landlords in the UK completely dry. They are literally trying to bring in a concept whereby the tenant has the right to buy the house off of the landlord, but based on all the rent that they've previously paid. So, if you've had a tenant for a few years and they've been paying a certain amount of rent, they can use that to force you to sell your house.
In fact, I've got a six-year-old, I've got an 8-year-old, I've got a 5-year-old. If I asked my 5-year-old, "Do you think that's fair?" and explain to them the ideas what the Green Party, I think my 5-year-old would say, "No, that's that's not fair. That's just wrong." Because anybody with any decent sense of morals can just see that this is distorted business. It's wrong. And when you've worked YOUR ASS OFF FOR DECADES and then you've bought an asset, to have that asset stripped from you in that way and have that to be the law changed, and they argue that property is a human right. In other words, a home is for living, not for profit. And oh, that sounds wonderful, doesn't it? And you get all the crazy loons. You've got about five brain cells. Yeah. Okay.
If we're going to say that though, we have to also say that for water. Water's all right. We need water to live. Can't go two days without without a drink of water. Does that mean that I shouldn't pay my water bill? What about food? Is food a human right? Should I just not pay for my food? Should I just walk into Sainsbury's and just take food and say, "THIS IS MY RIGHT TO EAT"? Shouldn't be able to profit? Should it? If it was illegal to profit from commodities, food, water, housing, if it was illegal to profit from things that humans need, do you have any idea what would happen to the world?
Another thing to remember is housing. Yeah. While housing might be a basic human need, same as food is, it's also a luxury as well because you can choose to have a more expensive house. I went out for a nice steak last night. Went out for dinner, had red wine, had steak. If it was illegal to profit from food, what that would mean is that there'd be no commercial entrepreneurs or business people that bothered to make food tasty. It's just like, "Oh, well, I can't profit from it." So, where are we going to get it from? If you couldn't profit from housing suddenly, "Oh, well, I'm not going to make the house nice." What what would happen is we'd end up in in a communist society. And if you look back at history where you see communist societies, the food, the housing, everything is a one out of 10. You know, you have shacks, rations of food from the government. And this this is this is the whole point. When you take away or attack the business people that provide good food, restaurants, housing, and you say, "You SHOULDN'T PROFIT FROM THIS, THE GOVERNMENT SHOULD GIVE IT TO US FOR FREE." If you campaign hard enough for that and enough people vote that, then the government go, "Yeah, we're in control now. Eat the rich. Ban the landlords. Ban the farmers from selling food and potatoes and beef and steak. We, the government, will provide it for you." And guess what? It's free in exchange for what? You're a slave now.
People can't see this. If the government provide all the housing, accommodation, the food, water. Number one, it's going to be awful. You're going to be in shacks. You're going to have small rations of food every day. You're going to be eating bugs. Now, this we can't imagine this 'cause we say Great Britain, first-world country, Western world, clean roads, everything's great. Watch TV, entertainment, comfortable. But what happens is when people get too comfortable, which is what we've seen, that we become idle and lazy, and then people start winning because of the we're in the land of opportunity, and then people get jealous, and then people hate on those winners and ask the government to intervene and legislate and regulate and step in, and then we go back to the stone ages.
So these people, these weak people that are campaigning for the government to step in and the government to take over and the government to come in like mommy and daddy and provide and get rid of these awful business people. These business people that have worked their asses off to actually make something of themselves and are now profiting. Yeah. Yeah. Profiting. Do you know how to profit in business? Let me teach you. Profit money comes from creating value. There is no such thing as a greedy landlord. I don't think it exists. A greedy landlord is a stupid landlord. A landlord that says, "I'm just going to charge I'm going to hike the rent up." If you charge too high rent and it's not the going rate, what happens is you have an empty house.
So, how do you determine the price? Does the landlord determine the price? No. Does or should the government determine the price? With a rent control with a 1:10 ratio? No. How do you determine the price? The market determines the price. The prices of rents is set on basic supply and demand. There is a massive demand for houses. Of course, the reason rents have gone so astronomically high is because of a lack of housing. AND THE GOVERNMENT FAILED US on that point because they're not building houses. And not only are they not building the houses that they continually what what do the government keep saying? "We're going to build 300,000 houses," and they don't, and they're massively short every single year. And now, according to the Labour government themselves, they say, "Look, we really need to do now 370,000 houses in order because there's such a fortune." And the reason that we keep falling so short on building so many houses is because the government are failing us and the government are not giving permission to build when we should. I've got a lot of land that I've been trying to build, but unfortunately, because the council are so slow and WORKING 4 DAYS A WEEK, I can't get planning permission. I can't build some of the some some of the land I've sold off. I literally just can't build on it because I've been waiting years for planning permission from the Labour government who are useless. And the Green Party are an extreme version of the Labour government. Utterly, not even useless, dangerous.
And not only are we falling short massively on building houses and allowing houses to be built that should be built that there is a need for, but also we are celebrating divorces as a culture. This is why the Western society is failing because Christian values and the family unit is continually under attack by the media, by the TV, by the education system, by the government. And what happens when there's when when there's a family breakdown and we and we celebrate, "Oh, you got divorced, congratulations." Not thinking about the kids now that potentially could be screwed up, but also the fact that now one household has now become two. And then meanwhile, having borders whereby people are coming in. And listen, I love immigration, okay? I'm an immigrant myself. I live in many different places across the world. I believe in open borders. My wife is an immigrant. She came from Zimbabwe and moved to the UK when she was 10. But guess what? She never ever did ask for a penny from the government. Neither did any of her family. Neither have we done when we've moved to different countries. We didn't move to a different country. We moved to the UAE, move and say, "Oh, we want something from the government." But for some strange reason, the UK seem to allow people to come into this country and then claim benefits and then have free healthcare. Shouldn't happen. I don't get free healthcare when I'm in the UAE. I don't get benefits because I'm not an Emirati and I never will be. I'M A GUEST. WAKE UP, BRITAIN.
People say Samuel's Roses. I LOVE IMMIGRATION. I'M MARRIED to an immigrant, but just immigration where people come to work and help build Britain. That's brilliant. And there's been a lot of those immigrants, millions of those immigrants. And that's fantastic. And then people see that there's a massive problem with immigration and then think that immigrants are the problem. And then they see, "OH, YOU'RE AN IMMIGRANT. GO BACK TO WHERE YOU CAME FROM." NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO. They've come to work. The problem is people that come and claim benefits and come and get healthcare and don't work and then have children that do the same. But that's I don't blame them. I don't blame them. Do you know who I blame? Blame the government.
And what do the Green Party want? They want to grow even harder than Labour. They they they say they want a world without borders. Okay, fine. Without borders. A world without borders. But what you you still come to work there, right? No. I mean, basically, if you were an evil genius that absolutely hated the United Kingdom and wanted its utter destruction and you wrote a manifesto to do that, it would basically be the Green Party's manifesto. And then people are so stupid that they protest in the streets and say, "Yeah." What are you saying yeah for? The destruction of your entire existence in your generation. And what what are you cheering about? You're cheering about UBI. Universal basic income, which is what Green Party are saying they're going to bring in. Yay. Universal basic income, which means I won't work. Which means I can just get paid for free passive income. Listen, when the government say, "We're going to help you and we're going to give you a nice passive income for nothing," just look at history. Where's the money going to come from? Where are the government going to get the money from to give you a passive income on universal basic income for doing nothing? Where are the government going to get the money from to take immigrants from all over the world and let them just come with open borders and just have a universal basic income? Where is the money coming from? Is it going to come from the rich people? Yeah, the rich people. Let's get it from them. Well, no. They will not pay. I mean, for a start, the rich people don't own things in their personal name. They own things in um structures whereby you cannot take their money. You can't you can't find it. You can't take it, and that won't change. They're too rich and too powerful.
What about the smaller business owners that have things in their personal name and the winners that are worth a few million, but they'll just leave. They are doing Henley and Partners did a study on this, and we have a millionaire leaving the UK every 30 minutes. And these millionaires, you might think, "Oh, they're the real rich people." No, not necessarily. Or the landlords. Oh, the real rich landlords that are greedy. Not really. The people that are being attacked are the small private landlords that own one or two properties. Most landlords only own one or two properties. They saved up money and they bought one property or two properties maybe max, and they rent it out and they make £500 a month. That's the average landlord. And those landlords are the people that will, if you're struggling, if you're a tenant and you're a little bit behind on rent or you've had a change of circumstances or your mom's died, they'll listen and they'll be reasonable. You know, if you need to pay next week instead, that most of these landlords will be reasonable. Do you think the big corporations will be reasonable? Do you think Blackstone will be reasonable? Do you think the government will be reasonable?
Are the government reasonable right now? Well, let's look. If we don't pay our council tax, which I'm sure you're paying council tax right now, even if you're a lefty looney government, we trust the government. What do what what does the government do if you don't pay your bills? What if you don't pay your taxes? If you're a small self-employed hairdresser and you don't pay your taxes, what happens? What happens is you have to you get fined. You have to then pay it with interest. And if you don't, it will snowball and you will end up going to prison if you refuse to pay. Imagine if your landlord was like that. You're a week late, right? Interest and fines. That's the landlord that you want.
And rent controls, same story. I mean, when they bring in rent controls, what happens? It depends on the type of rent control. Is it makes landlords more cautious about who they have in, or it makes landlords say, "Oh, I can't put the rent up for a year now and I'm capped on how much I can put the rent up by. Therefore, I'm not doing any discounts. Cuz someone moves into my house, I'm now I can only put it up by a very, very small percentage and only once a year. So, I'm going to charge the maximum rent." So, landlords increase the rent. Whenever you overlegislate landlords, they then overlegislate tenants. Do you know how difficult it is to rent now? Cuz we see that landlords are having it tough. But do you know who's having it tougher? Tenants. You try and rent a property now. The landlords and the and the agents. It It's like you're trying to win the lottery. I hope I can get this house. I'm applying for this house. I hope that they'll accept me to pay £2,000 a month for an apartment in London. I hope, please accept 80% of my wage.
But this is the problem. The rents are higher because landlords have been attacked. Landlords have been overtaxed. That's why rents have gone up. And what we talked about earlier, because there's a shortage of houses. If there was more houses, then rents would come down. And I've built a lot of houses and not just built them from scratch, but also bought rundown, uninhabitable houses and converted them into homes. And that's bringing property prices down. But people don't understand basic economics because they listen to Gary economics, who actually hasn't got a clue what he's talking about. When I first saw Gary economics, I thought, "Oh, he seems really smart. Oh, he's made a bit of money." And he doesn't he doesn't have a clue what he's talking about. In some areas, he's correct. And I don't want to take away everything from him, but his he he is a loony. I think the guy's a lunatic. I think that he's being paid by people in power and by the Green Party. He tells you to vote for the Green Party. So if you understood economics, he wouldn't do that. He's campaigning for a wealth tax. I mean, these people are mad. We've seen history. We need to read history books and see what happens.
People say we should just eat the rich and tax them more and we can't trust these landlords. They're all greedy. Let's let the all-wise, all-kind, caring government look after us instead. Are you mad? And all of these people are also utter hypocrites. I mean, Gary Economics talking about how everyone should be taxed more and isn't it terrible? But then meanwhile, he's selling books on this and profiting and asking for Patreons and doing speaking engagements, being paid a lot of money, and he owns multiple houses. He's got investments himself. The leader of the Green Party, who's also a lunatic. The guy's a lunatic. And I don't like to judge people unless I've I've met them. But if you look at some of the things that Zach's done and said and been involved with. I mean, for a start, he lives himself. Apparently, I've not been, but he lives in a £2 million pound house. And and he lived he went off on a boat for a bit to avoid council tax, I hear, which is now being investigated. So, these people, they're usually rotten to the core.
And I can agree on the problem. When Zach from Green Party, even Gary, like Gary is bang on on the problem. Zach's bang on on the problem. Yeah, rent's too high. So, what's the solution? It's not rent control. It's build more houses. Gary's bang on the problem. There's a massive divide between rich and poor, and the divide is getting more and more. And it's wrong. And something needs to even the playing field. Did you know that 0.5% of the population live in a house worth £2 million or more? So he is literally part of the 1% that he keeps banging on about. You couldn't make it up. So he's basically saying you should pay more tax while I dodge mine. If he wants to raise taxes, he should start by paying his own. If Gary wants to see the divide between the rich and poor, I'd love to see him giving away his own money. He talks about his sister, how she's financially really struggling and the system's so wrong. And stop looking at the system. Do something about it yourself.
Now, Gary gets a crazy amount of views on YouTube. It's it's it's impressive. And I he came out of nowhere. I mean, there's a lot of rumors and speculation about that, how that came to be. And I'm not going to get into that in this video. And he talks very, very articulately and well about the problem and about how economically most people are absolutely strapped for cash financially, and wages are too low, and cost of living is too high, and inflation is getting absolutely out of control, and rents and everything's going up. And he's absolutely right when he says that if you're wealthy and you own stuff and things go up, that's a good thing. But if you don't own anything and things go up, so what's going to happen? And he says, "The rich are going to get richer and richer, and the poor are going to get poorer and poorer." And I agree with him. And then it's like, okay. So, what's the solution, Gary? Tell us how to get on the property ladder. Tell us how to raise some finance. Tell us how to be entrepreneurial. Tell us how to... Oh, no. The solution is to vote green and bring in a wealth tax. I'm lost for words. I mean, I don't believe he believes that. And he says himself, I've heard him say that he believes that it will never happen because it can't happen 'cause wealthy people don't own the stuff that they control. If you've got money in a trust, it's not your money. You are the protector of the trust. You might be able to control what happens within the trust, but how you going to how you going to tax that? And the wealthy people, the billionaires, they control the world. Are they going to allow there to be a global wealth tax that they can't control? And no. And it's it's so flawed. Maybe I could do a whole separate video about wealth taxes and why it's flawed.
This is what I'll tell you. I don't believe a wealth tax is going to come in. I think it'll be impossible. I don't believe that the Green Party are going to get in. I think it would be impossible. I don't believe that the rich people are going to be brought down. I think it's impossible 'cause if you know how they structure things and what they know and how they build from scratch and who they know, it's impossible. So protesting against them is not going to make your life any better at all. Green Party aren't going to get in. The wealth tax isn't going to come in. All that's going to happen, as Gary says, and Gary knows, is the rich people are going to get richer and richer.
So here's my plea to you, watching this. My plea to you is to do what I did. I started with nothing. I'm from a council estate, and I learned how to create value because money follows value. And then how to invest that money and how to structure that money so that it's tax-efficient, like the rich people do, because the people that make the rules are the same people that benefit from those rules. Does this make sense?
Now, Gary says, "I'm not going to tell you who to vote for, but I would recommend you vote green." I'm genuinely not going to tell you who to vote for because I don't think it matters. I think people spending all of their time worrying about who's in power and immigrants and politics and geopolitics and wars. And what happens is you're focusing on something that you can't control. Now, if you want to know what's going on in the world for entertainment purposes, it's okay. But you need to remember the economy does not have to have any reflection on your economy. People make the most money during wars and recessions. I'm not saying that's good or bad. That's just the that's just the rules. That's just what happens when people are panicking, when people are selling, when people usually that's when there is in business commercially opportunities. But then when things are thriving and the economy is good, you can also make money then.
I am an entrepreneur. I'm not a politician. And as an entrepreneur, my job is to make money. And with that money, I can help people. And I do help people a lot. I'm not going to talk about that either in this video, but I give away a good percentage of the money that I make to help people less fortunate. I don't want it taken from me because I don't trust how the government will spend the money anyway. Me wanting to mitigate my taxes and pay as low as possible is not because I'm greedy and I want to just spend the money myself on Rolls-Royces and fancy things and watches. It's because I want to be in control of how the money flows that I make. And ironically, if I do spend the money, I mean, I did get a Rolls-Royce this week. I hired a Rolls-Royce. While I'm in the UK, I got a Rolls-Royce. And people say, "Oh, that's so excessive." Is it? Or is it actually increasing to the GDP of the economy?
Gary Economics, who claims to be a multi-millionaire, but doesn't spend any money on clothes or cars or I don't think he has, as far as I can see, I don't think he's building things, employing lots of people. I mean, how's that helping the economy? Gary, economics. If you buy a Ferrari, all the people, the laborers that had to make that and craft that, you are actually helping money flow and people keep jobs. You're not just spending money. You're also helping feed the families of the manufacturer. There's money going into the salesman's pocket, which is then providing for his or her family. You're helping for the people that maintain the car, the cleaner, sorry, the cleaners. You're helping pay for the car garage office where cleaners come in and and money trickles down and money flows. Money is like water. It goes up, it rises as a steam, and then it comes down as rain, and it's always moving. You drink it, it comes out. Money is moving and money is flowing. And when you hold on to money like this, so spending money is not a bad thing. Money, money makes the world go around. Let it flow through you.
But you need to learn how to attract money. And most people's problem is not that they haven't got money. It's that they just don't know how to make a lot of money because they're too busy campaigning and protesting. If Gary economics students spent more time reading books on business and personal development and how to work themselves up on the corporate ladder of their job rather than protesting for wealth taxes, maybe they wouldn't feel the need to protest for wealth taxes anyway.
