Hi, join us today. You're watching Marketplace Network, of course, Pastor's Perspective. And you know how we do it. We search for the pastor. It's really sewing seed to the believer, something that they can catch on to, something they can run with, something they can develop their fruit with and expand to other parts of the world.
Who am I talking about, you might ask me? The Apostle herself. That's right, Apostle Alberta came all the way to Washington to come see us today. Thank you for joining us here. So, I want to begin and get started with her. She's got a great testimony and a great program planned for you. I'll be your host, I'm Dr. Ken. And afterwards, if you'll pray hard enough, she'll pray for us as well. So, what do you got for us today, my dear?
Well, we're going to talk again about the police. Oh, okay. Uh, you played the program we did last week on Saturday, and Daryl Russell told me, we want to honor him too. He's head of all the chaplains. Okay. He said that, um, that it was Memorial for this one young policeman, 27 years old, was killed. He was on the side of the road and a drunken driver veered off, hit him in the back and killed him. Him and his name was, uh, um, Christopher Gad. 27 years old. Wow. He was in the Washington State Patrol. His father is Trooper David Gad, okay, from our area. His sister lives in Texas, Jacqueline. And I want to read you what Chief Batiste had to say, okay? And it's this. Now, this is in my state, the state of Washington, and this is what the Chief said. He said, "I can tell you the entire State Patrol, every head is bowed, every knee is bent, and every heart is broken as we mourn for the loss." Wow. He's talking about this young man. David Gad is the dad. Christopher Gad. You can imagine the grief that his dad felt. His dad's in State Patrol. His sister serves in Texas. Wow. And the Chief said this, he says, "And every heart is broken as we mourn the loss." Well, somebody say, "Well, they don't get bro, they get very broken-hearted when they lose a fellow trooper." Yes. He said, "To honor Chris, even in sorrow, we will go on. We will continue to serve because he did. We, we must, and we're going to honor others too." But, uh, Chief Batiste, I want to honor you and say thank you. It lets people know, hey, you know, this wasn't just some guy. So, we're going to play a song, uh, for you. Um, officers out there, want you to listen to every word. We're going to honor you with this song by Michael John. Thank you so much.

Wow. What did that mean to you? That means this. They are soldiers in God's army. They are motto in Washington is "Protect and Serve." And I didn't know Christopher's name until he was killed. Wow. There was no way of honoring him until he died. But, you know, it's really, we got to think serious on this. These guys go out, and women, and risk their lives every day. And I read to you what Chief Batiste said about how they sorrow and how the family sorrows. And yet, people want to put them down, spit at them, throw rocks at them, all kinds of things. And here they are, sent by God as our human protectors. You know, they kind of match up with Jesus because, well, they do in every way, because the Lord always protected and served. You know, my friend told me, she said, 911 was taken from Psalm 91, really, the protection. Wow. And the Bible, these men and women of God that serve us, protect us, give their lives. Now, who else gave their lives? Uh, Bishop? Yeah. And well, Jesus, obviously. But I want to speak on that. Is I know in my day, in the '60s, a lot of people were rebellious and thought the cops are out of control. Now, there's good and bad in every, um, uh, vocation, every job, every service. But most of all, when you really get to know them, they're good people. If you'll speak kindly to them, they'll speak kindly to you. They'll be polite. They'll will listen to what you have to say. Instead of hitting them, yelling at them, screaming and them spinning in them, maybe we should take a minute and really get to know them before we judge where which way they're going. I know so many times that we see them in restaurants. It wouldn't be bad to pick up the tab, 'cause that might be the person that comes out to you on 911, or somebody you know. Can I buy a cup of coffee? Or can I do a little something for? Because they don't make a lot of money, and they're risking their life for the small amount of money they get, and they work long hours. So it's a lot of work, a lot of things to know. It's just, they don't just, here, look like you could do the job, here's a badge, here's a gun. It's not like that. It's a lot of know-how they have to go through, a lot of training. And these people really try sometimes, and you can help these people. Sometimes they get a little bit on an ego trip, and you can help them with that. You know, maybe if we just talk to out of reason, let that be a lesson. Reason with everybody, because everybody can be reasoned if you talk. Remember the Bible? It says in Proverbs, if you speak softly, it turns down wrath. So I'm asking you to speak kindly to him and see how that works for you.
Apostle, you were continuing on this, uh, honoring the police people. Yeah. I'm going to, um, honor them. We're starting, uh, Pat Mandell's son. Oh, okay. Yeah. Tell us about that. He went out to help a family. Uh-huh. And he, I think he probably had all the, the best vest that they cover with, you know, to protect him. Him. But the guy snuck up and shot him in the back of the head. Oh my goodness. And he was out there for a family. So, you know what the Chief said? I like what he said. We grieve, we mourn for them. And they, it's like, I'm going to go back to that again. I never knew Christopher's name until it's in the obituary and until it's in the newspaper. Wow. There are many policemen out there. They see their, their partners shot in the head. I ministered to one that saw, literally, you know, they see all kinds of things. And yet, Dr. Ken, mhm. They needed. We're starting a movement where we're going to say, and it's going to be done by Kent Mandell and his mother and me. Oh, okay. That, um, there, we're going to start a move for the police to, uh, get people praying for them in the churches. Yes. On TV, everywhere. How many of you know as Christians, and Jim knows this, and and so does Amy, that we have, and so does, uh, Dr. Ken and Bishop and our other guests here, they know that prayer works. Yes. And I told on the show how I had this policeman parking at the church, and I'd go out and I would greet him and everything, and and we would talk about the Lord. And he told me some things he had been going through. Oh, wow. And a lot of them see, uh, their partner shot. They see him like in this case, he was killed by a drunken driver. But there's others that have literally seen their partner shot and killed, stabbed, HD in the head, during those riots, all kinds of deaths. And people need to wake up in America. First, yes, churches, you need to wake up. These aren't real angels from heaven, but you know what they are? Our human angels. I, I agree. Sent to serve and protect. Uh-huh. Like I said the other day, if I have somebody breaking in my house, I, I'm going to first call the Lord, you know, Jeremiah 33:3. And then I'm going to get on that phone and I'm going to call 911. Okay. Psalm 91, that stands for amen. And I'm, I'm going to ask them, hey, I got a problem, come. They'll be there in a heartbeat, about five minutes away from the police department. Okay. And we got an excellent Chief there. He's a Christian. M. And, uh, our town is pretty peaceful. We have some things. But recently, a barber in our town, just across the street from me, was cutting hair and a gang walked in and shot him right in front of a 9-year-old kid in the bar. Oh my goodness. We had to have police. I mean, the police came from everywhere, and they had to go in and talk to that 9-year-old kid, his mother. They had to see that barber shot, laying on the floor, just right kitty corner from where I live, from my office. Oh my goodness. And they go on these calls, and everybody says, oh, well, you know, so they go, you know, and all that. No. When they go out, they're risking their lives. Wow. Like Pat, she didn't know her son would be snuck up on and shot in the head. She had no idea. And I'm telling you, that church, Christians, we need to start standing up for them. When one comes around me, I say, hey, can I, can I pray over your police car? The angels like that John that used to come to my church, he'd say, "Sure, go ahead." Well, you see a police car, why don't you take time to just say, Lord, send Psalm 91 over there. Send, send the police, you know, a helper angels. We don't worship them, but they're sent to help those who inherit salvation. And many of the police, as they drive, they can't do it out loud, but I'll bet you when they take off in that car, that they, some of them are praying silently. Yes. Amen. And I ministered with a SWAT team member in Texas, Paul Day, and I watched Paul. He would, I said, "Paul, you know, how can you pray in the police car?" He said, "I've been with the SWAT Team 25 years." So when he brings someone to arrest him, he does a prayer for them, and he prays when he gets home, writes her name down, and prays for them. We got a lot of policemen who do the same thing. And, and some politician might say, "Well, they're not allowed to pray." Well, they can pray in the mind. Mhmm. And so I want to ask you, um, Dr. Ken, how can we get the churches? Gemma can tell us this too, and Amy. How can we get the Christian pastors and the brothers and the sisters? Now, my pastor, Pastor Martin, and Pelop of Revival here in Now Church, we're starting prayer meetings for them. Me and Pat in the church. Can you at least do that? Can you take a minute to just set aside for these men and women, First Responders? Mh. And also, not only that, but the ones that go out and pray for the police too. Yes. You know, the ones like, uh, that are called to go out and, uh, just minister to the people and the police that are are left behind. So you say, well, Alberta, we got to, you know, separate from prayer from this and that. No, we don't. You with me? They go by my house every day. I got a big cross in the window, just for them. And the other people, when they see it, it's all lit up, and and they know that, hey, it's right up there where everyone can see it, across the street, in front of my house. I put it there mainly for the First Responders and the police, but they don't know that. So what do you think? How can we get? We just got to keep talking about it, get the word out, like you said, you're going to pass out literature and keep speaking in the church, just keep speaking on it and keep praying and keep believing and have the police ask others to help to encourage them. Yeah. Why can't we like, like, uh, have prayer for them every chance we get? Yes. You know, the one that was coming at my church, uh, I just asked him one day, "Hey, John, can I, um, uh, put the angels around your police car when you leave today?" He said, "Sure, go ahead." Go ahead. Because of time, would you mind praying that prayer to the camera for those folks out there so they can really believe God to pray with you and agree that the least will be protected? Okay. The word of God says that two shall agree as touching anything on Earth, Jesus said he would do it. And I'm a firm believer that Jesus created the police department so he would have human angels. Amen. To protect and service, which they do. So pastors and everybody, can you please get your people praying for them in the church? You see a police car go by, how about putting the blood of Jesus on it and and praying the angels over it? Just do it. I mean, just when they go by, sirens on, just take time to pray. And pastors, get prayer meetings started in your church, like we're going to do for these men and women who serve us in all different police departments, and they suffer trauma. They suffer trauma, like when they had to pick up a barber that they knew, and that you know, pick him up after he'd been shot in his barber shop. They had to minister to a 9-year-old kid that had to watch the shootings while he was in the barber chair. That's what his mother said. Come on, let's, let's just take a time, a minute. You never know when you're going to need one. You never know when you're going to have to call one. So right now, just join us in this prayer. We're all in agreement here in this studio, and just say this: Father, in the name of Jesus, we're lifting our First Responders. We're lifting the police department up, all of them, everywhere, every branch, State Patrol, Sheriff, regular policeman, FBI, whoever they are, that's serving us in in the, uh, police departments all over the United States. We need to have this movement and get people respecting them, honoring them. So Father, in Jesus' name, we pray you'll go with them as they go out. You sent them, Lord, to serve us and protect us. And Father, so we want them protected. We don't want any more suicides in the police department. We don't want any of them shot, spit on, hit, rocks thrown at them. We're not going to take it anymore. Come on, rise up. And if you're a politician, I'm going to speak to you in boldness. You ought to stop defunding the police. Oh, oh, Alberta, you're going too far. Well, maybe. But come on, you politicians, you better support your local police department. We're going to start a, uh, we're going to have a motto about them, and you'll soon learn about that motto, and you're going to quit this. You're going to respect them instead of disrespect. So Father, in the name of Jesus, everybody out there and the ones in here, we agree, Father God, there's going to be revival among our various police departments. Father God, I thank you that you're going to, uh, be with them as they go out on a call. You're going to be with their wife, with their children. You're going to do it, Lord. You're going to protect them. And with the chaplain, the chaplain have to go out, and and Daryl Russell, he's the main chaplain in so many different states. We need more chaplains. But you know what? I thank you, Father, in Jesus' name, that, um, Bishop and Dr. Ken, as they go out, we're going to have so much prayer going for them. The devil's going to try to kill him, but guess what? He's not going to get by with all this stuff anymore because we have the power to bind and loose. We bind every demonic spirit that's fighting against our policemen and against our chaplains, and we say there's going to be a move of God among them. And you know what? When they grieve, we'll grieve with them. Amen. In Jesus' name. Amen.
Because of time, you've heard the Apostle. I'd like to ask you to help her in her ministry. It's nothing to do with the police department, even though she's an advocate for them, but she travels all over the country. She's from Washington. You're seeing us in Orange County, California, right now. So why don't you help her? Sew a seed, whether it be the widow's mite, $10, or $25, or $50, or even a $100. But remember, God loves a consistent giver. If you will sow that seed, if you don't have a church that you're going to, it'd be nice for you to sow a little seed. See what David's men did. Was he sent David with his men out to recover all? So that's what she's doing. She's recovering all that the enemy is trying to take territory from. So if you could sponsor her to go out, it takes a lot of money to minister at different churches nowadays. The churches are shrinking. Takes a lot of money. Airfare is a fortune. You know, trains, gas, automobiles, it just takes her. I mean, the gospel's free, obviously, but the ministry costs dearly. So have her. She's got a big tour ahead of her. Help her out. Sow this seed today. All the information is at the bottom of your screen. Make sure you sow today and watch what God would do for you. Now, is it for her? No, it's really for you. Let me hear me. If you're struggling in finances, if you're struggling with relationships, and we are with God, sometimes we don't hear his voice as clearly as she does. But listen to me, if you're struggling in health, this is where she really shines at. I'm asking you to sow the seed for your breakthrough to come too. Because if you do that, like Peter, he toiled all night to catch a fish, and what have Jesus said? Cast the net on the right side. Look, look at Luke 5:5. And he caught more than enough to last them three and a half years. The same can happen to you. One seed could change your life. I'm not promising you, you know, a million dollars or anything like that. I'm just saying, what your need is, so out of your need, not out of your abundance, and you'll see what God will do for you.
