2.1. Okay. Yeah. So, I'm going to key in. So, the VR, the way this works, I'm just going to stay over here to the east of the airport. So, the way this works, the VR, uh, you can contact flight service anytime um, the VUR indicates that they can receive or transmit on a on a frequency. Okay.
So, 122.1 has an R next to it. That's that's what I mean by receive on a frequency. There'll be a little blue line uh, or a blue frequency directly above the VR's identifier. See that right there? So, I'm going to put in 122.1. Now, the significance of the R is that it means they can't transmit. They can only receive on that frequency. So, I'm going to tune in what if that's what uh the situation is, then that means that they're going to talk to you on 110.6, which is the VR frequency. We already have that tuned in on nav 2. So, we'll turn it on. airport automated weather. Uh, sorry. Nav 2 and the identifier button push it. Okay, good.
So, flight service should be able to talk to us on 110.6. Okay. So, when I call them up, I'm going to tell them because flight service doesn't know where I'm at. All right. Uh, so they don't know what repeater station they should use to talk to me on. So I need to tell them that I'm transmitting on well that I'm receiving on 110.6. So let's give this a shot. Like I said, I've never done this before. 122.1 is in there. 110.6 I have set up in the V or in the uh VR frequency or the nav radio and I'm listening to it and it's terot flight service. Okay.
For terot radio is how you address uh terot radio routing 9167 victor is 5 miles east of Richmond transmitting on 1221 receiving on 110.6 All right. So, we have the right frequency in there. November 9167 Victor. November 9167 Victor radio 916 Victor has you loud and clear and November 67 Victor go with your question 67 Victor uh can I get an airport briefing for Richmond and November 67 Victor give me uh position again Richmond 67 Victor is 5 miles to the east of Richmond and November 67 Victor.
Roger. I can run through and update the advisories current forecast in that area. Looks like you are flying into an air of moderate turbulence below flight level 180. That's going to continue right through 0 niner Z. looking at some of the currents from your present position over to the uh destination. The currents are rotating and it looks like it's coming in with a uh broken overcast layer somewhere in the range of about 4,000 to 5,000 ft. Uh variabilities are unrestricted. I do show strong uh west southwesterly winds gusting up into the 30s. I'm showing that the White Brothers airport is the closest. They'll automatically put the wind 2 4 0 20 gust 30 visibility on zero ceiling 5,000 overcast capture 13.4 altimeter 2 niner 66 and the peak wind power was 23 031.
At this point there are no power reports. The forecast into the deep area is indicating that the wind will be 2416 just 26 ging 4,500 broken. Area forecast is indicating about the same basis 5,000 bulk and top flight level 180 and unrestricted visibility. Roger. Thanks for your help. 916 7 Victor. That's all I need. All right. And November 67 Victor, you are welcome to updating the Richmond altimeter for you. Richmond is updating here. Al timber coming in at 2 niner 67 power weather to 2.2. Have a good one. Have a good day. 67 Victor. Okay. Oh, cool. Yeah, I hadn't tried that before. All right, we'll go ahead and finish the approach and land.
