People tend to have this belief which is incorrect that our our our brains are little truth seeking mechanisms. Our brains are defense attorneys and their job is to make you right all the time to prove you correct. So that's what why social media goes in that direction. That's why it evolved that way because that's what our brains are wired to do. So social media just helped it to feel better and better and better about ourselves because it's just going to show you that you're right all day every day.
