Hey guys, welcome back to the channel. Welcome to the last part of 9.4.6. That is going to be skill and mystic. The defenders are going to be Scream, Hulk Ragnarok, Hela, Miles Morales, Proxima Midnight, and Quicksilver. And the boss on Carina we're going to attempt is going to be the skill and the cosmic variant with the traps.
Now, for the boosts and masteries, they're not required, but I would suggest you to do them anyway because they're going to finish the paths faster for you. And also, relics are optional. I would say they are kind of required. And the path nodes are right there on the right side of the screen. It is going to be a scourge path. And honestly, it's not really difficult. I'll explain more. You will need skill champions for all of those size defenders, and you will need mystic champions for all of those cosmic defenders. Again, not difficult. Anybody will work. Just make sure that you don't bring in anybody that can do power control. That is important. You need the defenders to gain power. All right? So, let's jump into the path and check it out.
So, the first fight is going to be against the Scream. Now, how does it work? So, every second the defender will gain a 0.5 bar of power per scourge charge. So, the more scourge charges, the faster they will gain power. Now, you can pause the scourge charges so for the defender to gain scourge charges whenever you use a striker. And every time there are five scourge charges, you will be rooted in your place. So, keep an eye on that. On the fifth charge, you are going to be rooted. So, have a special attack ready. Now, if you want to eradicate them, you wait for them to build up to 10, and then you use a well-timed block on a special attack. That's important. No parry. A well-timed block on special attack, and that's going to eradicate them and deal damage to the opponent. That will be equal to 250% of your base attack. And finally, there's going to be Matador, so you will only gain power whenever the defender will use a special attack. So, those are how the nodes will work. We've taken Scream down. One of the best counters for the path is going to be Nico Minoru, Doctor Strange, and also your Kushala. So, I'm using all different champions to show you guys how it works.
So, here is fight number two. I'm going against Hulk Ragnarok, and I'm using Baron Zemo. Now, you can bring in any other skill champion that you like. Just make sure there's no skill or mystic champion you bring in that has some kind of power control, cuz that will be difficult to deal with. So, I'm just playing nice and slow, and then what I'm trying to do is to get those SP2s get them rooted and all the decelerate up, so I don't have to worry about the unstoppable from Hulk Ragnarok. It's going to be a slow fight than the others because, you know, how Zemo is a bit slow, but still I we were able to take him down comfortably. Now, notice there are 10 charges. Now, I will try to parry one of the hits in the special, and I did Look at that eradicate damage. He went down to 50% health. So, yeah, that's going to be it, guys. Make sure that you bring in like class advantage champions. And apart from that, look for defender specific, you know, stuff. For example, Hulk Ragnarok will go unstoppable, so if you bring somebody with slow decelerate, that's going to work. And every five score charges on the defender, you will be rooted in your place, so keep an eye on that. And after 10 charges, you can parry one of the hit on the special attacks from the defender to eradicate the charges and deal 250% of your base attack as direct damage to the opponent. So, in our case, that is going to be Hulk Ragnarok. And I am trying to kind of take him down. Soon as he throws a special one here, I'll try to parry it. I failed at that, but I took him down anyway, and he's dead. So, that is going to be how you deal with this path.
So, next one up is going to be Hela, and I'm going to use a Doctor Strange. A Doctor Strange is like really, really cool for this path because all you need to do is to wait out until you get your first SP2. What I like to do is I like to get like 25 to 30 points before I start spamming my special attack. Now, the good part here is you gain a power on only when the defender is going to use a special attack. So, you can use it to your advantage. You can just build up the points and just start spamming your SP1s and then you'll be good. So, here we go. I've got 25 points on me. I think I'll go for one more SP2 and then we can just spam SP1s. So, let's wait it out. There we go. We're going to throw this one there. Now, I have enough points. Now, I'm just going to wait for her to throw a special attack here. We're going to go back in and start throwing my SP1s and that's going to do quite a bit of damage and I will be able to take Hela down. To be honest, you can do this fight with anybody. The whole path can be done with any skill champions or any mystic champions to be honest. You don't really need to bring like specific counters, but it's better if you bring in like somebody like Kushala or somebody that has secondary damage like Kushala has a damage with his soul barb and then Nico has damage with his poisons just to get the path finished a lot faster so you can get through the boss.
The next defender is going to be Miles Morales and you know that he will go invisible whenever we will use a special attack. So, what we're going to do, we are going to only We are going to only use a special three. We're not going to use a special one or special two unless you have somebody who can counter miss. Otherwise, we don't have to worry about it and we're just going to go straight to an SP3 and that should do enough damage and we don't have any risk of getting hit by that. So, don't need to worry about invisibility when you use a special attack. Just go straight to an SP3 and you will gain a power only with defender will use a special attack. So, you have three bars of power and we can use an SP3 here and that should be enough damage to kill him off. There we go. He is out. So, that's four defenders down.
Next one is going to be a Proxima Midnight. Again, very simple. I'm going to showcase Nico Minoru here. Now, Nico Minoru starting off with a buff immunity and also the extra adrenaline. Uh we're just going to push Proxima to an SP1. She's going to throw that out, give us power and we are going to return it back to her with an SP1. So, this is going to be the whole path, guys. The path is super easy. Only one thing you need to take care of out is you're going to be rooted at five charges of scourge on the opponent and then after 10 charges, you have the option to eradicate those charges. How do you eradicate the charges? You wait for the defender to throw a special attack and you parry one of the hits of the special attack. As soon as you do that, those scourge charges that are on Proxima Midnight are going to blow and they're going to do 250% damage of your base attack on her per scourge charge. So, that's a lot of chunk of health that will just uh uh disappear instantly. So, that's how you're going to do this path and how you're going to use Nico Minoru and the other defender.
And this final defender is going to be very annoying because it's going to be a Quicksilver. So, you need somebody with an evade counter. For me, it was Okoye. So, make sure you bring that. I mean, you can do this fight without an evade counter as well. It's going to be very annoying and especially with his SP1 and his SP2s with so many hits and you're getting rooted, the fight is very distractingly difficult, honestly. But hey, um after you get hit by two or three of his SP1s, you get used to the timing and the cadence. And before you know it, he dies as well. So, make sure that you have a good counter for this fight because you might take quite a bit of damage. Look at me eating a full SP2 on the face. So, bye. So, yeah, but I was able to bring him down eventually. It's the same thing, very simple path, nothing to worry about. Just play normally, just keep an eye on that root timer on every five score charges. And once there are 10 charges on the opponent, make sure that you parry one of the special hits, and you will be able to eradicate and deal a burst damage and kill off the defender.
Okay, we are on to the final Corina, probably my least favorite Corina of all because she just takes so much time. And I cannot push her to 35 corruption charges in one go. This is going to be the longest fight, also. I think it took me almost 5 minutes to bring her down. That's saying a lot because the other fights barely took 3 minutes. So, for this one, you wait for Corina to throw a special attack or use a heavy attack. When she uses the special attack one or heavy attack, you notice that trap? Now, my job is to uh trigger that trap by using a heavy attack on Corina, and she goes into the trap just like this. And that will give all of those corruption charges to Corina. And once there are 15 or more of those charges, she's going to throw that SP2. I brought in a Blade because Blade just heals up the whole damage. Blade is just really really cool for this one and also he is going to remove all the debuffs that Corina applies while she uses an SP1. So, if the debuff generation is so shortened, you are going to get Elder Resistance. So, you're going to react eight Elder Resistance every time Corina throw a special two quite easily. Now, one thing I would suggest to you don't get cornered on your side because that's going to be trouble. Always try to do five hit combos and keep on her side of the screen, but remember not to push her to an SP3 because for every armor she has, she's going to gain extra bar of power or extra 2.5% of her maximum power whenever you're going to hit her. So, be careful about that.
Now, having that out of the way, what happens when she drops the trap? When she's going to drop a trap on you, you have to do certain actions to put extra corruption on Corina. You can just simply parry and heavy and put her through the trap, but the corruptions corruptions will be very less that you will give her. So, what you what you have to do, dash, parry medium light, dash parry medium light and then parry and heavy. So, basically every unique action that you do before you put her through the trap is going to be saved up as bonus corruption. You can notice that right now. So, parry medium light, parry medium into heavy and there we go. Now, those bonus corruptions can go at the maximum of 10 and after that you have to put her through the trap because they cap out there. So, let's go through that once more and I will explain it again. So, let's wait for the SP1. There we go. Now, I've got one. I dash back one. I'm going to get parry. That's one. Medium light, parry medium light. Now, 10 charges up. Now, I can use my heavy to put her through the trap. So, that is the whole thingy and that's how you gain all of those corruptions. And look, Blade is just healing back up. So, cool.
Okay. So, phase one was pretty simple, straightforward. In phase two, as you notice, there's an inexorable icon right now. Right? So, every 10 seconds, she is going to get inexorable for 8 seconds or I think 5 seconds. But, that cool down is paused while you are between 0.75 and 2.5 bar of power. So, you are encouraged to throw your specials and play around the inexorable. The most important thing is don't get cornered because then if you get cornered, you are going to get trapped. Also, you're going to take a lot of damage. And don't walk through the trap from Corina. That is going to be very, very important. So, those are the basic tips of the fight, and the rest is a very simple gameplay loop. You keep the Corina to an SP1. Let her throw that SP1 out. When she places the trap, dash back, parry, medium light, dash back, parry, medium light. You get all the bonus corruption, and then you use the heavy attack. That gives the maximum corruption to Corina. You rinse and repeat that. Push her to 16 corruptions, and then she will throw that SP2 out. That will give her damage, and you're good to go. Now, what are the best options? Blade definitely is a great option. You can use Vision Arc as if you're going for cosmic champion. Anybody with power gains, so for example, Hyperion will work good as well. And on the skill side, go with the champions that can reduce the timer on the debuff. So, for example, Blade is going to be really cool. Yelena Belova Belova is going to be really cool. So, yeah, those are all the champions. I would say always try to save an SP3 or an SP8 to at the minimum. If you're getting cornered, you can just use that. And you can create space. This whole fight is about space management. It's going to be the long one because you I you can barely go above 16 or 17 corruption charges in one go.
