Astrology 101 part #4 polarities and quadruplicities

Nursing my second cup of coffee. I hear ya. Hey Celia. Okay, all right. So we'll probably have a few people come in as we go along here. Let me turn on my other program here. There we go.

Okay, so we're talking about talking about, uh, polarities today. So the yin and the yang of the zodiac, and also talking about the, uh, quadruplicities, the modalities of the zodiac. So let me pull up my picture here. Not good at this. Here we are. Can everybody see that? Yeah. Okay.

So when we're talking about polarities, we're talking about masculine, feminine signs. So we have an outer and inner motion to the zodiac. So it feels, hold on here, I had, uh, here we go, the other notes. So it feels like a rhythm as we go through the signs. We can pick up on, uh, an, uh, a breath in, breath out, breath in, breath out. So there's a, uh, a light in the dark, a balance, a counter-balance that happens with all the signs. So we have an extra version, we have the, the explosion of energy in Aries, and we have the counter, the balance to that, which is the bringing in of that energy. So the sign polarities are very interesting because they are a necessary response to the sign that comes before it. So they keep the, the, the psyche itself, the conscious and the unconscious in balance. So ideally, we would want to have a, uh, a relative balance in the chart of masculine and feminine, yin and yang. And looking for that, you know, do we have, uh, um, you know, a sort, I want to say, an emphasis on one or the other, a lack? It's, um, something that will give us an idea of what is the, uh, the content of the personality when it comes to the positive or the negative aspects revealing themselves. So by negative, when we talk about yin, um, signs, it's, it's not something that's bad. That's not something that we look at as, uh, you know, a bad definition of negative. It's simply the response to positive. So the masculine signs, the yang signs, these are the active signs. These are the signs where we have activity. In the yin signs, we have passivity. We have the necessary response to that activity. So it looks very much like an infinity loop as you go through the cycle, all through. So we have out and in, and out and in. So we have that repetition of above and below, the reflection of one and the other, and the balance to that. So there's an equilibrium that we're achieving when we are finding a relative balance between those things in our own personality, the passive and the aggressive. And, and we see that repetition in other ways throughout astrology and throughout life as well, that repetition of the balance of passive and aggressive, and aggressive and in and out, male and female. It's a universal concept.

So, um, with the yang signs, with the masculine, the masculine signs, there's something open and direct and spontaneous about those particular signs. And somebody else in here. And these are not necessarily reflective signs, the masculine signs. So there's an acting out, and then a conscience. So we have the conscious acting out in the yang signs, in the masculine signs, and we have the conscience developing and responding to that action. So we have the conscious and the conscience that are in relationship to each other. So it's what I do, and then what do I think about that? How does that fit into what I want or what I'm after? How, you know, how does that sit with my idea of morality? All of the inner things. I have complexities. In the yin signs, we have all the complexities of looking inward, all the complexities of insight come with the female signs. So you can also look at it like, um, you know, just the qualities of men and women, the more archetypal qualities of men and women, where men have that, uh, you know, traditional energy of going out of the home or out of the cave, and women have that traditional energy of working or having the activity within the home, within the cave. So it's that classic archetypal relationship that we see with semi-sextile signs. So semi-sextile signs are signs that are right next to each other. We have, we start with the yang, and we go with the yin, yang, yin, all around the zodiac. And signs that are in opposition to each other are of the same gender. They are of the same polarity. So although signs that are opposite to each other are diametrically opposed, they have something essentially in common. They have this, um, I say, a positive or negative, or active or passive way that they operate. So unlike semi-sextile signs, who really do not have anything in common, signs that are polar opposite to each other have a lot in common. They have this in common. So there's, uh, that old adage, as above, so below. That's what we always learn when we're looking at different aspects of what yin and yang mean. That definitely does apply to astrology. Does anybody have any questions, comments about polarities, observations? Nope. That seems pretty fairly easy to understand.

So something to also understand about yin and yang is that we have an orientation with both. We have either an orientation of freedom with the yang, or an orientation of belonging or union with the yin. So when you're looking at a chart and you're seeing an abundance of, you know, planets in either or yin or a yang sign, or an abundance of yin or yang signs, you're looking at either a more active, if it's yang heavy, or a more passive personality overall. So it'll give you more information, just as modalities do, you know, quadruplicities, triplicities, elements, and modalities, they all give us more information. So we're looking at astrology as a synthesis of complex information. So we've looked at already, we looked at the signs, the complexities within the individual signs, their needs, the two sides of those, the potentials, the human story that we all go through. And when we're looking at polarities, we're looking more at, do we have an abundance of introversion or extroversion, or passive or aggressive? Except another layer of information. So shall we talk about modalities? Are you guys ready for that? I didn't think that that lesson would go that fast because I thought we would have quite a few questions. Anything hanging in space? Let's do it. You think so? Okay. I don't think that's ever happened in this group before. This is quick and dirty. There. Hey, hey, can you put that little diagram up that you first, uh, put on there? The, um, yeah, do you want to take a picture? Yeah, I just wanted to, I didn't get the chance to look at it and write it all down. I was just kidding. Absolutely. Thank you. There we are. All right. So, okay, great. Thanks. Moving on to, uh, let's see. Actually, one very brief question. Yes. I appreciate it. Um, so, you know, uh, throughout the wheel, you're saying that it goes, you know, masculine, feminine, masculine, feminine, and then across, you know, they share the same kind of, uh, whether they're masculine. Yeah, makes sense. Whatever. Um, do you also consider planets themselves to have that inherent quality? Because sometimes, like, you know, Libra is technically a masculine sign, but it's ruled by Venus, you know? So, I, I mean, it's not something I've really given that much thought about, honestly. Is that kind of, uh, No, that's a fabulous question because we have the purely feminine aspect of Venus, which is in Taurus, because that's a yin sign, female sign. And then we have the air expression of Venus in Libra, which, um, is something that we'll talk about when we get to the lesson on elements. And something I thought we would have to push out till next week because we wouldn't have time for that, but this has gone pretty fast. I, this, I kind of don't have a diagram for elements, though. Maria, I have a comment on what she's saying and what makes sense for Libra and why it's balanced. Yes, and it's, it's that, that whole balance. Um, and I, I had a thought. I'm, I'm still kind of waking up and I haven't been getting that much good sleep lately, but my, um, co-worker, she's Libra rising, sun Libra, but she has a lot of fire in her chart too. Um, and I'm sunshine Aries. Um, and I love the dynamic that we have with each other. Um, and, uh, just how, how we interact, uh, as coworkers, but, but even friends. Um, but that, um, there's so much commonality between Aries and Libra. I always get along with Libras. Um, anyway, so I love that sign. Um, but yeah, I think the whole feminine Venus ruling that, it just kind of clicked. Well, the air signs are themselves masculine. They're all masculine. All the fire signs are also masculine. And all that. So the elemental factor dominates the planetary ruler ruling factor when it comes to whether it's yin or yang. I think that's what we're getting at. Yeah. So there's a, you know, a, um, it's sort of a, a multiplicity of expression in the air signs. So we have the, let's say, the experimentalism that we see in Gemini and Aquarius, that's also something that we see in Libra as well. So there's, um, sort of this extroverted curiosity that happens in those signs because in Libra, that's really the, um, the initiation of communication, which is what brings us actually into the next lesson. Is, uh, we are getting something going when it comes to relationship. So there is something very extroverted about that. It's, it's, it's a traditionally masculine thing to make that first move. So there is, I think, something that we, we often forget about Libra, and that it does have a masculine expression. Absolutely. And I think that we often forget too, the Capricorn has a feminine expression. But that's, uh, I was actually going to comment on that. I feel like Capricorn is the other sign where, uh, the polarity, um, is kind of in conflict with the planet because Saturn seems like a very masculine planet, but Capricorn for duality is feminine. And Capricorn is also kind of that archetypal patriarchal, you know, the polarity to the matriarchal that Cancer is supposed to represent. But at the core, they both have similar, they both have this need for security, right? Something very safety-seeking oriented about them. So, um, when you look at it, uh, you know, Capricorn, the reason, the reason Capricorn does things is to serve that feminine need. To send the reason that, uh, we do things and Libra is to serve that masculine need. So very, very interesting how these things work. Once you start to look at it, it, uh, it starts to click. Anybody else have any comments? No. Libra just feels like the most non-binary of zodiac because it's mac in the middle, and it's, I know it has that masculine expression, but it just, because it's literally an object, it just feels like the most almost neutral in terms of, you know, it can really kind of go either way. That's what it's about. Absolutely. It's about that objectivity. You know, if the subjectivity in Aries, me, and then the we, achieving objectivity in Libra, that's, that's kind of where you get the devil's advocate. Oh, sure. That can frustrate a lot of people, I think, if they don't understand the Libra point of view, because they, they think, for example, like if you were an Aries and you were talking with a Libra, and you were talking about some sort of conflict, and the Libra decided to play devil's advocate, that Aries might be like, you're taking their side? How dare you? Absolutely. Yes. I just did that with a friend. They were talking to me about their very narcissistic mother and all the pain they were in, and I was totally empathizing with my friend, but I was also like, but, you know, your your mother's just so disconnected and uninvolved, and I feel sorry for her. And it was just like, she was like, yeah, you kind of like show people their own. I feel like as a Libra, you can show people the full scope of humanity sometimes. I think that's a, that's a, yeah, that's a plus. Absolutely. Because we're bringing perspective, right? And hopefully, um, you know, widening that point of view. It's, uh, Libra is a very cerebral sign as well. So often there's more of a, let's look at things, uh, in a more rational way or more broad-minded way, rather than emotionally. So that can often bring a balance to most subjective things, you know, that are driving us crazy. Let's pull out and see what, uh, you know, what are the other ways to look at this. Would you be able to say more about Capricorn being in a feminine sign? Yes. Can I say more about something? Are you kidding me? Yes. That works. Um, so once again, these are, well, let's think about the activities of Cancer and Capricorn because the response, they're a response to each other, as all the opposing signs are. So this is, uh, you could say Cancer is the, Capricorn is the, the social result of the person, uh, of the personal. So the personal is, we need a shelter. That's Cancer. Every human builds a shelter, unless you're that one tribe I heard about one time when I was a teenager, and I've been, they've never been able to find that documentary again. There's one tribe that walks throughout, uh, Africa, and it's just the father and the mother and one child, and they have no possessions, and they just are more, you know, a gathering society. And I remember the narrator said that these must be the happiest people in the world because they have no possessions. Unless you belong to that one culture, and maybe there's some others that I'm not aware of. All humans build a shelter. It's just something that's common to all of us. We don't have a lot of fur. We have, uh, physiology that's very prone to the elements and exposure. So that threat of exposure, that threat of the elements really requires us as a type of animal to build a shelter. And there's lots of types of different animals that build shelters. We're just ones that build, uh, ones out of sticks or bricks or mud or whatever we could find. So we can be pretty ingenious about our shelters as well. So that is the, the reason for, like, that human need for shelter creates the response. We go out and we do something. We take action on that. So with Capricorn, it's a closed-in, um, conservative sign. So there's, I mean, we never associate Capricorn with loudness or with freedom of expression. It has that inherently more conservative, passive quality to it. So there is, um, you know, something very public about Capricorn, but we, the way in which we go about that public activity is much more, I was saying, a conservative feminine type of action. Does that bring some amount of understanding to it? Alex? Yes, definitely. Thank you.

Okay, so let me see if I have the correct picture here. So I'm famous for not having it. [Music] Okay, can everybody see that? So modalities are modes of doing things. They are modes of energy. It's modes of action. So we have three groups of four signs each, and they have a, a different way of doing. So in the cardinal signs, we have initiation. This is the angles of the chart. Can everybody take a picture of this one, and so they could refer to it if you need it again? Let me know. Sorry, I, I was a little slow. Yeah, I just got my camera out. That's okay. We can leave it up for a while. Um, so Aries, Capricorn, Libra, Cancer, these are the angles of the chart. These are where we get things going. So when we were talking about polarities, we were talking about gender. So these have the masculine and the feminine involved. So when we're looking at Aries, it's action that we always associate with Aries. It's, it's the getting going. This is the, the doer of the zodiac. And this is a cardinal sign. So all cardinal signs, Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn, are about keeping things moving, keeping life going, new things beginning. And this is when we see the changing of the seasons, which we'll talk about more when we get into the lesson about elements. So we have the, the need to begin life in Aries. So Aries is always about getting something going. And in the cardinal mode, it's the mode of energy where we are coming up with something new. So when we look at the, the, uh, the modalities, they have a way of helping each other. We have the initiation of the cardinal signs, which is helped along and nurtured and built up by the following fixed signs, and then shared or dispersed in the mutable signs. So they all have this successive role that they play in our human experience. So you could look at it like somebody who has a very creative personality and they come up with something new, but they don't really have the elements in their personality that are really good at putting in the sustained energy to grow that project, to keep that project going, to build that project. And so they turn their idea, they turn their creativity over to someone who has a lot of fixed energy, who has the ability to dig in and nurture something and get it in a place where it's, it's stably stabling, but that's a word, it is today, it's stably growing. It is becoming something more. So that's the energy of the fixed signs. Taurus, Libra, Scorpio, Aquarius. This is where we have the ability for sustaining action. So we dig in in the fixed signs. So we have a stubborn quality that's associated with those signs. This is where we have the ability to go the long haul. So a practical example of a fixed sign would be, uh, something my mother just pointed out the other day. She has six children. I'm one of six children. And she said, you know, I have a son in Leo. There we go. Fixed sign. So she said, you know, I knew when you were little that if I was going to go toe-to-toe with you, or if I was going to make you angry, that I had to be ready to be in it for about three days. I was going to be punished for at least three days. And so I had to really decide, you know, what was worth it to really discipline you about. She said, the other kids weren't like that. You know, they just get over it, they forgive me. But within a few, a few hours, my Leo son would just dig in. So that is the practical action of a fixed sign, is that sustained activity. We don't just let things go in that particular, particular mode. I find it interesting that like, out of all the fixed signs, Aquarius is like the one sign that doesn't seem to like hold grudges. Well, we have air. We'll combine these in the next lesson. We'll talk about fixed air and how they all have their different subtle qualities when you combine complement and modality synthesis. That's what we get to in the end here. So cardinal signs are the inventors, the initiators. Fixed signs are the sustainers. And then we have the mutable signs, which are the sharers. So this is where we have movability. We have, um, a, uh, let me see, an element of, it's a good word for it, beautiful signs of changeability within mutable signs. So this is where we have the completion. So we start a project, we sustain that project, we complete the project, and that completion is in the dispersal, the sharing of it. So let's look at the, let's give an example there where we can look at how, well, let's pull up with the graph here. We need the graph again. There we go. So let's look at how Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius can work together here. So we have, say, a writer who comes up with an idea in Aries, and they get to the writing part, the sustained action of writing the book in Leo. This is where they're sharing that talent. And then we get to the Sagittarius phase where we have publishing. This is where we share the idea that was begun in Aries, sustained and nurtured in Leo. Let's look at Libra, Aquarius, and Gemini. We start, uh, we start a, a relationship. We begin a collaboration in Libra. That is sustained through continued communication. So sustains community, sustains communication. And then we have the sharing of that. So we have the beginning of relationship, the continuing to divide together, to share together, to get to know each other, and then we have more the sharing that comes from feeling like we know somebody. So we have this, um, you know, continued necessary action of the three. So we, uh, in the, in the water signs, let's look at that. We begin a feeling, we nurture that feeling, and then we share that feeling. So we could look at that like, uh, something occurs to us. And let's look at this in an extreme situation. Um, say something occurs to us. We have a thought that has a feeling associated with it, and then we dwell on that. We dwell on that feeling or that thought, and then we're going to eventually share that. So let's say we have, uh, let's say we come across our husband or a boyfriend's phone and we see a text just on the front that looks a little suspicious, like, I wonder what's up with that. We don't have any other information. So then we start to dwell on that feeling of suspicion or, or, you know, uh, you know, something's off. Or we start, you keep entertaining that feeling or that thought. And then they come into the room a few hours later, after we've gotten ourselves all worked up, and like, I need to know exactly what's going on. And he pulls out the phone and shows you, and it's something very innocent from his mother. So there's a way that, you know, we'll begin, sustain, and then the outcome. Very much is, um, of a consequence of what was begun and how we sustained it. So we could have a very different consequence or different outcome. We got a different ending to the story, which would be the immutable mode. Say we see that weird text that we can't explain come across the phone, and then we're like, you know what? Don't have enough information to say that something's off. I don't really know what's going on here. So I'm just going to reserve judgment until I have more information. Then if I know that there's really a legitimate reason to be suspicious or to feel off, then that's when I'll pick that up. And then they come in the room, and we ask, you know, more rationally, hey, I saw something come across your phone. I don't really know what to think about it. Can you explain this to me? And we, you know, see it. It's not a big deal. And we're like, okay, all right. Well, moving on. So we can have a different outcome. Depend, you know, we can have the crazy dispersal of energy, or we can have the more rational dispersal of energy. It just depends. Dispersal of feeling. It depends on again, what has begun and how have we nurtured it. So that middle stage has a lot to do with the outcome. What we're stewing, and how we're brewing, and what we're building, what we're sustaining, that has a lot to do with what we're eventually going to share. Just like in Aries, we have a writer who has a brilliant idea. How he writes that book, the quality of his sustained actions, everything to do with whether or not that's going to be shared or published in the next stage of Sagittarius. So does that make sense so far? Does anybody have any observations or questions about that? It's interesting. I, uh, at work, uh, all our producers are, um, Sagittarius, and it never made sense to me because I didn't really understand modalities that much. But all they do is just share actions. They just, they align people with certain tasks they need to do. And now it makes a lot of sense. [Laughter] Yeah, there's a social aspect, uh, to Sagittarius for sure. We have that sharing quality that comes with it. And, uh, yeah, Sagittarius is very much about doing things, you know, with others or in a social sphere. Absolutely. Alex, um, it's about modalities. So if a chart has an imbalance in modalities, would you say that it's important to try and consciously balance out those modalities in a lifetime, or is it more so just to focus on one particular energy? Well, I think it's something that we need to bring to our awareness that we have a lot of our energy that is contained in one way of doing or another. It was something we didn't know about ourselves, that we either have this initiatory, uh, impulse, or this sustaining impulse, or this sharing, dispersing, kind of sometimes all over the place kind of impulse. It's something that gives us a clue about who or how, who and how we are, and who and how someone else may be, who we're looking at their chart. So we want to know that so we can know what is the compensating force that I can develop in there. So, um, in my own personality, um, you know, I have a lot of the inventiveness and the creativity. I'm not so good with the sustaining of it. So I've learned, okay, I need to hire people or have people around me who can take my ideas and my projects and do the boring stuff, that's what I call the boring stuff. So I would say, you know, go out and buy the car and be really excited about that, but I would never want to maintain it or put gas in it. That is so boring. It's just not a part of my natural personality. So I've learned I need to develop some of those characteristics so that I actually have success. I can get to the sharing dispersal part, which I'm actually good at too. Not so good at the stuff in the middle. So I need to either bring people into my life that have those qualities, and in addition to that, I need to develop some of those myself because you can't pay other people to do everything for you. So there's a way that, uh, yeah, I think that, that we all have some things that we could improve on. And that's one of the things that if we know that about ourselves, it gives us a good clue of what can we do. So, yeah, very easy to look at modalities and say, what is the compensating factor for that? Anybody else have any other questions or observations? Gemini shares communication. The Gemini in my life cannot keep their mouth shut like at all. And also she hasn't really like evolved anything, but I just, I love my cousin to death, but she will put her daughter's business out on her Facebook, and it's like embarrassing stuff. And I'm just like, take that down. Why do you need to tell everybody? She's like, well, I, I don't know. And then I'm just like, but yeah, that's just what came to mind was like, all the Geminis I know, they can't keep secrets. Um, I wonder what, what else is going on. And I haven't looked at her chart yet, so that'll be interesting to look at because that is an interesting observation. That is because that is an outward sign, and then it's air, and it's also a dispersive sign. So there is a kind of a mile a minute quality to Gemini, and it isn't something that we associate with privacy. We associate with experimentation, and it is a very, very open energy because in that site, remember, in that stage of development in Gemini, we are open to anything, any concept, any word. We are a sponge. The whole two minds about things. Um, yeah, it's another fun. I love that the air signs are fun. Yeah, absolutely. So when you look at like the, um, this year's like signature of all of your elements and your signs, so like mine is Leo, but like my daughter's says ambiguous. Is that like, that's just all everything, a mixture of all of them? Yeah, sometimes we're not heavy on one end or the other. Sometimes we're, uh, kind of what we want, though, to be more balanced. Like that, like the goal. I, I think there's something to that, especially when we look at like a splay chart in a chart where the, the planets are pretty much spread out. That's something we also look at as a better formation when it comes to integration and possible psychological balance. So I think that if we're looking at an ideal personality, or an easier life, or an easier path towards integration, we would want to be an even mix. Um, yeah, there's something to that. I think that that gives some people a leg up when it comes to just the possibility of integration. Yeah, absolutely. Yeah. Good observation there. I'm just sorry. Good. I was just gonna say, I don't know if that ideal of something ever being genuinely even or equally disseminated or possible because of so many other varying factors, you know, what's the weight of the planet, or the weight of, you know, you know, yeah, because we could be like, really evenly balanced when it comes to element or modality, but be way off when it comes to something else. So that's what we get when those are things we're understanding when we're looking at different layers of chart synthesis, because astrology is the understanding of how all of the simple machines combine to create the complex machine. So a complex machine would be like an engine. So that is a car engine. That car engine is made up of a lot of simple machines. It's made up of pistons that work together. It's made up of valves. Themselves are little machines that work together. It's made up of levers that themselves are one machine. So what we're learning to do in these less, these lessons, and specifically, and when you're starting from the beginning when it comes to understanding how to interpret charts, you're looking at all of the simple machines in themselves, and understanding how does the piston work? How does the lever work? What do all these little components look like? And then we start to combine them. We start to put the lever with the piston. We start to put this with that. Then we start to put more. Because until pretty soon, we've built an entire engine because we understand how the little parts work together. So that's how I teach in astrology. I teach all the small component parts, and then we start to layer them together. We start to interpret them together, and then pretty soon, we're able to see how it all works. So when I look at a chart, I look at it as a complete engine. So when I look at it, I know, okay, we have the engine of a bus. We have the engine of a jet. We have the engine of this. And then I start to break it down. So I know what it is in itself. When I look at it, we don't know that in the beginning. We just know what the little parts are. We know what the little parts are telling us. It's very hard to combine those to see what they all mean. And I think in astrology, we're looking for one sum. We're looking for what does the chart add up to? It has to be like a six or a seven or no. It adds up to actually several different numbers. And then learning how those all fit and work together, that's the trick there. So that's the art of chart synthesis, is how to understand the simple machines combined to create the complex machine. Does that make sense? Oh, sure. Yeah. I mean, it's funny because even when you get to that level of chart synthesis, and you keep learning more techniques, and more tools, and more ways to dissect a chart and divide a chart, and, you know, it's, it's kind of infinite. So it's always, there's always more to something you're considering. There is. And I think we have to be understanding with ourselves about that. That it's, it's not something that we're ever going to completely learn. Yeah, we do the best we can, and then we keep learning. What you're talking about is about is chart diagnosis. That's usually what I do in my most of my, my private consultations is all, you know, ask the person, you know, what it is that you want to get out of this. And then I hear what they tell me, and then I know what to look for. I can hear in their language, what is it that we need to focus on today? So it would be of most value to this person. And, you know, what I talk about with someone at, you know, 25 may not be what we talk about at 50 because they've wrestled with a lot of things in their chart and put them to bed and got balance, and they're focused on different things. So, yeah, the chart is something that's always unfolding because, you know, there's certain things we're just really struggling with in our 20s that we've mastered in our 40s. I have a question. Um, and this is probably totally off topic, but what the heck is going on right now with the transits square to Uranus as a theme throughout the year that that's going to be like a, you know, a thing. And we'll get the closer, uh, squares and, you know, the farther apart it is going to meet very closely again later in the year. What was that again? Saturn is squaring Uranus. Okay. But Saturn's at 13 degrees right now. Uranus is at about what? 10. Okay. So because it didn't go, it did the exact square at the top of the year, and it's doing another exact square in the middle, and then like another one. Yeah, yeah. So it's a, a theme throughout the entire year, whether or not it's exact or not. But when we have those exact kisses between planets, that's when we tend to see actual events. We tend to see a more acute expression of what's going on. So that's the past clashing with the future. Every time we have difficult aspects between, um, Saturn and Uranus, or Pluto, or Uranus, you're gonna have some amount of social upheaval, some amount of change because we have the old meeting the new. And every time in society that we've had a prolonged period of progress, which we have had since the Pluto Uranus conjunction in the 60s, we had the Civil Rights Act. We have had a lot of progress since then. And every time you have progress, something in human nature that creates a backlash to that. So we'll have a conservative response to that because it's like, I've gone so far. It's like two steps forward, one step back when it comes to human progress. So we're seeing that now, uh, because, you know, just a few years ago, we had the Uranus Pluto square. So that was the answer to what was begun and began in the 60s. So now we have this other social, uh, aspect of, and we had a ton going on, you know, with the conjunction of Saturn and Pluto and Jupiter. In fact, I have some videos on that that I can send to you guys that I did in my private subscribers group that you might find interesting. Um, I'll pick those out. Um, so that is another thing that was showing great social, um, devolution or evolution, depending on how we choose. So when we have Uranus or Saturn, Uranus hard aspects, we have like the young hippie versus the old Wall Street dude. Those are typically coming into clash, or like the teenage son and the older father coming into clash. So we have the test of what kind of progress. It's like, is it going to stand up to pressure? So all of us are pretty grouchy as a, a people, as a world society, when we have these kinds of transits. And it's that combined grouchiness that creates these social movements. Because we'll have within us, you know, like, I'm so mad, I'm not going to take it anymore. Or we could have like a really good social transit, like, I'm really feeling generous and, you know, like I want to extend myself, and we can have other movements, you know, that actually don't pay much attention to because our focus as humans tends to go to what's not working or what's in conflict. But, um, sometimes counting our blessings is a good thing. That's when we count our trines. We call it counter-sextiles. But, um, it's the hard aspects within us and within society that create dynamic movement. And so we have dynamism right now. And we're gonna have, you know, people who want to go forward versus the people who want to go backwards. And that clashing energy is so, it's so crude when it happens. It's such a, a nasty thing to have Uranus and and Saturn in a war with each other. So I think a lot of us are absorbing that this year. And there's a lot of people in the world who really do feel that safety and security lies in returning to a golden age of the past. That would be the Saturn part. But there's a lot of people that feel the safety and security lies in reaching a golden age of the future. That would be that Aquarian ideal.
