What's going on guys? Welcome to my channel. My name is Curtis and today we're out here in Florence. We're camping for a couple nights and we're waiting for Parker to show up to camp. But uh, in the meantime, I'm going to give you guys a nice build review of my '23 Colorado. Uh, it's been through a lot of build stages and I made a lot of these videos, but I'm really digging this setup and uh, yeah, let's talk about it.

So starting up front right here, we have the DV8 Spec Series bumper. Um, it's it's it's a really nice bumper. You know, you can have your 12,000lb winch in there and I have the DV8 light bar in the center right here, and then I have the DV8 pod lights on the side, the two side pod lights. And uh, they're all hooked up to one one switch, so I can turn all my bumper lights on and it's very convenient.

Okay, so swinging up, we have these Extreme Vehicle Productions fog light bezels. They have a Baja Designs, um, Squadron Sport, I believe, in there. And everybody with a Z71 knows the OEM fog lights don't do nothing. So these are pretty cool. It's got my logo printed on the side. And then swinging over, we have the OEM ZR2 fender flares installed on the Z71. So these are not the ones that you can buy from Chevy for the Z71. These are actually ZR2 fender flares, and I like the look of them. They help with the mud, they help my stance and everything. They look really good to me. I would have to say, make sure to go watch that video of me installing these, so if you do get some, you can install them like me.

So dropping down, we have some Method 305 wheels with some Tacoma, uh, hub caps or, you know, little caps right there. They are 17 by 8 and a half, zero offset. And then behind that, I have the 1 and a half inch wheel spacers from Amazon. They still haven't broken on me yet, so cross my fingers. And they're wrapped in Falcon M1s. Um, I'm I've been loving the tire. It is a 35 12.50, um, 17. It's a really nice tire. I love Falcon Tires, they they last really, really good and they're very quiet on road, I would have to say. Um, my only gripe is that my alignment is never in spec, so the fronts are wearing a lot faster than I would like to, but that's my fault honestly. Um, we're going to switch it up next time though.

And then behind all that meat, we have some Icons. They're Icon Stage 5, uh, coilovers with adjustable adjustable knobs on them, so I can adjust whatever I want. And then I have the Icon Tubular upper control arms. And uh, no complaints about the Icon Icons at all. Um, everybody always says that they leak, but I have not had any problems with them leaking. Cross my fingers. Um, so far they've been really dialed. Brought them to the dunes, brought them to a lot of places, and I kind of have them adjusted how I like them to be, um, kind of all the time, so I don't have to mess with them. But they're really easy to adjust and everything, so been digging these. If you're in the market, uh, for suspension, that's pretty much all you have right now for the Z71, so get anything you can get. Um, just get like, I or get Stage 1, get Stage 2. Um, you don't technically really need Stage 5, but um, I do a lot of wheeling and uh, Stage 5 sounds good to me.

Swinging up, um, we have Rigid lights all around. Up up top, we have the Rigid, uh, I think this is the SR5 or S something. Uh, they're nice nice ditch lights and everything. And then we have the sweet Rigid 360 series light bar, um, that's connected to a Rego, uh, attachment that's for a Tacoma. U, make sure to like or watch that video. I'll have it somewhere here to see that install. But, uh, funny fact is, after I made that video, Rigid decided to make a 360 series with the 4-inch lights. These are the 6-inch, um, but they do now make one that's universal for, uh, with the 4-inch. So I I I love this how that how sleek and low profile it is on my rack, and it's been a really nice addition to the build. B digging it.

And then the newest addition to the build are these DV8 rock sliders. Um, loving these things. They're way more low profile than the OEM ZR2 ones that I had on the truck before, and uh, I'm loving these things. They're they're doing good, and so far I haven't got any scratches on them yet. Uh, maybe hopefully tomorrow we might we might do that. But these things are nice. They'll be available pretty soon on DV8's website. And if you have any, if you want any discounts with DV8, use U DT1, get 10% off, and uh, you know, that'll help you out. Good deal, 10% off, and they're always a good reasonable price. They're not like crazy expensive or anything. So these will be out pretty soon.

And then coming up top, my roof rack is a Prinsu Pro roof rack. Um, I dig it. It's nice. It was pretty it was pretty annoying to install, but we got installed and uh, it all it all looks really good. I like the new Prinsu Pro design, it looks really good. And then like I said, this is the Rego, uh, light bar attachment for the Rego roof rack that I made work for the Prinsu. And if you want to know that, go watch the video like I said, um, but I kind of like how it comes down here and it it just kind of floats pretty pretty good altogether. And uh, got some DV8 traction boards up there. I've really used them. Um, just better than keeping them in my garage, throw them up there. Maybe might get solar on top of it pretty soon, but not sure yet.

And then, uh, one of my favorite parts of the build is the new FSR Aspen light tent. This thing is so freaking nice. Um, best tent that I've ever slept in. I've slept in in a bunch now, and uh, uh, it comes with a air mattress or it's like a 2-inch foam that you can make an air mattress. And uh, I honestly don't even pump the air mattress up anymore, it's just that comfortable. And uh, it's it's a really nice tent. It keeps the warmth and it, you know, it's nice. Even though it's black, it doesn't really get that hot. Um, and then I have these FSR soft steps so I can step on this so that my little feet's getting hurt. And uh, yeah, these these tents are sick. FSR Aspen light, a lot of room. Me, Kate, and the two dogs fit up here just fine. And uh, it's really cool.

All right, so then holding all my camp gear and my tent and everything, uh, I have the SmartCap Evo Defender. Um, I'm never getting a bed rack again. I am keeping the cap all day, every day. So much better. Your stuff doesn't get super dirty. It does get a little dirty, um, just cuz the tailgate not sealed or anything, but, uh, been loving the SmartCap. These things are freaking nice. And uh, I've had some problems with it, and the the guys at SmartCap, they're sending me a whole new back piece cuz it was touching my my third brake light, and they are sending a whole new back piece for free and everything like that. So super nice. And everybody doesn't like the windows, how there's no windows, but I really like that. It just looks slick. And then I have a Wolfbox 900 something something for the back here so I could see out the the back and everything as a rear view mirror. So love this thing. This is one of my favorite additions to the build. Is a SmartCap. Never getting a bed rack again, ever.

All right, so for my power and fridge system, they're both Ice Co. I have a PB1000 as a 1000 watt power bank. It runs my stuff all the time, forever. Uh, the fridge is an Ice Co VV or VL 35 Pro S or something. Um, but super, I love this fridge so much. Um, digging it. I have the Ice Co fridge slide and, uh, couldn't be happier. I have the Ram Straps holding it down to kind of look all nice and fancy. Um, but yeah, this fridge is nice. It could be a fridge, freezer, whatever you want to be. Uh, has AC DC, um, plugs so you can charge it or, um, run anything off of this with AC DC. Has USBs so you can like charge your phone off of it too, which is really cool. Two USBs. Has eco mode, max mode, has pretty much everything you need in a fridge, and they're always reasonably priced. So use code downtime lost for any type of discount with Ice Co. I love the love these products so much. Um, but yeah, I got the dream system, Ice Co power bank, Ice Co fridge, and, uh, like I said, I need solar, um, because I'm running the fridge, charging phones, doing all that, and now I have Starlink. So Starlink uses a lot of freaking power, I have to say. Um, but I need to get solar somewhere so I can charge this, cuz it is hot right now and sunny, so it'd be nice to charge that. Yeah, love this system.

I have this custom bed thing that I made, um, custom bed, uh, extender thing, but I need I want to redesign this eventually. Um, but DIY, you know, love it. Got the dog bed right here, so we throw them up there when they're getting annoying at night and eating stuff. And so, um, and I have these just these lights from Amazon. Um, I lost the remote somewhere back here in the back of the truck during King of the Hammers. I need to find it, but it's really nice to have this, uh, lights in these, um, SmartCaps at night, so you have 360 of light when you're at camp and everything. So loving this setup. I need to fix the box eventually, and I think I'm going to do one drawer system or whatever, cuz when we pull this out, we're hitting the strut on the fridge. Um, I I kind of just built it and then threw everything in there. I didn't really build it off the fridge and power bank and all this. So have my full-size spare in the bed of the truck also. So I want to move that around and drop it down somewhere where it's not using all this space because I have it laying flat.

I also have I also have this Billy Bar, um, tailgate cover thing. It's nice, but it gets a little dirty, but it's easy to wash off and everything. Just super nice to have something flat down here for your feet, knees, and cooking and stuff.

So swinging down to the bottom right here, we have the DV8 Spec Series bumper. Uh, it's integrated with the winch, all your sensors, um, blah blah blah. You're just reusing all your sensors and everything, so it it works just as factory. Um, and then going down, we have the Icon Stage 5, uh, shocks in the rear. Those are really nice, fully adjustable, you know. And then we have a Peak Adal Leaf, so I think it's a Deaver Ad Leaf. Got a Peak suspension, and then I have a 1-inch leveled up rear block. So the rear suspension is a little ghetto. I'm waiting on like a full Deaver kit maybe pretty soon. Uh, hopefully tax return when it comes in, I can get get a rear suspension dialed in. And, uh, one of the last things is I have the MagnaFlow Flow Overland Series exhaust. I've had it on my truck forever and I love the sound. It's super nice. And uh, MagnaFlow dudes are really cool, really rad dudes. I took off the resonator. It's the Overland style, so you have the dual, uh, resonator thingy-majiggy. Took both of them off, just kind of have it one single. I took all the resonators off and it's just the single single, uh, exhaust deal. And uh, yeah, that's my rear, uh, rear setup. And, uh, I I I don't know if I mentioned, I have the Roam awning, super nice.

But that's about it for this week's video. It's just a build review. Right now, we're going to go hit the trail out here in the boulders. It's going to be a cool one.
