I'm here with Will Hows and Hayden Patriquin. They're going to show us how to hit a backhand flick in under 60 seconds.

Step one: Have a low, wide base so you can reach in and stay balanced.

Step two: Knuckles and tip down so you can shape the ball and keep it in.

Step three: Short, compact swing where you extend out. A common mistake that I see is people will come across the ball like this with the wrist, but you actually want to have a windshield wiper motion so you can brush the ball and get the shape.

Step four is spot. So with a right-handed player and a backhand dominant volley, you want to hit the right hip or the right shoulder so you can get a chicken wing.
